Casa Tequila Bar & Grill

The service was great, a community service type establishment so more than one sever checking the table, taking orders and delivering food. The food came out quickly. The food is tasty, not the best Mexican cuisine I've had but not the worst either. The drinks are STRONG!

I ordered their nachos from their special board. Couldn't remember if they were supposed to come w/beans but definitely not worth $12.99 +. Skimpy on meat, almost no cheese and lots of empty chips. service was good and ambiance was nice w/Mexican music in the background. Within an hour into our conversations, music changed and grew louder.

Who doesn't like a great taco and margaritas on taco Tuesday? We stopped at Casa Tequila Bar & Grill in Lorton Virginia while running errands. We have had a VERY hard time finding a tacos that are cooked well and are flavorful so we did not know what to expect. We were greeted by a friendly host who sat us quickly. The wait staff were all friendly and worked as a team to get the food out to the customer. Inside was a lot bigger than we thought it would be. We loved the all of the seating options they had.The food was delicious! We ordered street steak tacos, the guacamole and chips, the small flight of frozen margaritas, and a classic margarita. The tacos were garnished with cilantro and onions. They were seasoned and cooked like I am use to being from California. My only feedback is that the street tacos should be served with lime and radishes. When you decide to do a flight of margaritas, you have a choice of on the rocks or frozen. You also can choose up to four flavors. We chose sour apple, peach, mango, and raspberry frozen margaritas. They were so good. I especially enjoyed the peach and mango ones. The classic margaritas was okay. Nothing special.Overall we enjoyed everything. We will try their other locations in the future.

MEH. My cocktail was pretty good,but the food was SUPER salty!! I couldn't even eat the enchiladas as they were way too salty. Refried beans were salty too. Guacamole was pretty good. Beef taco was ok. The salmon on my husband's salad was way over cooked.

I have been wanting to try this place since I moved here. It's a nice size restaurant with a good atmosphere. It's a good place to come and unwind and relax and test the various margherita they make there. The food was on point. The chicken wings held uo to the traditional bar test and hit the spot. The pork belly tacos were cooked well, I would prefer a little more sauce on them and in a flour tortilla. The service was great, and a guy named Oscar made the drinks and delivered our food. He was fast friendly and knew how to mix the drinks. Thank you brother.This is now my new place away from home.

Casa Tequila Bar & Grill is a very good Mexican restaurant reflecting the owners' Central American roots. Their Lorton location is located in Lorton Station Town Center with easy access to the restaurant with parking on the street and parking lot. The layout of the restaurant is unique as it curves around the front of the building. The bar is in the front with 2-person high tops along the window that overlooks their outside seating. The inside seating is not overly big and is behind the bar. It's a bit odd, but it works, especially if you're in the bar area. The food is very good. I had their Molcajete Tequila for 2 people. Portion size was ample for 2 people; one person could eat the whole thing with a large appetite and came hungry. It comes with two plates of rice and beans with the single large entree bowl. The chicken and steak texture was ok, and the shrimp was very good. The hot pepper, onion and spices were spot on. I added their house hot sauce to give it more kick. I took left overs with me since it was running late. Customer service was excellent for a local non-high end restaurant. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. The staff reviewed the menu with me and answered my questions. Chips, salsa and water were served quickly and the waitress was quick to restock whatever was low. Food was served within a reasonable amount of time, and all of it was very warm to hot. Casa Tequila Bar & Grill is a strong recommend. I'll be a repeat customer when I'm in town and try the various mixed grills.

Food wasn't good. A/C not working on one of the hottest day of the year. We had a party of 22 and it just wasn't good.

This is our favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food is good and comes out so fast. The margaritas are perfection. Their service is top notch. The taco salad could be bigger bc the shell is so good I want more lol. The chicken quesadilla is my favorite. The salsa is so fresh and good. I love the chips when they are fresh. And we always get the queso. Do not listen to the other reviews. This place is yummy!

this place has gone down hill. the food was ok, however the place was infested with fruit flies in the middle of February. I am not taking about one or two flies, there was a lot all over the walls from the dinning area behind the bar to the bathroom. Very gross-

Just stopped in Casa Tequila for a quick lunch. Service was exceptional. We had a couple of lime margs, skirt steak fajita express (the steak was very tender) and the burrito (we asked for a substitution to seasoned ground beef). Will say the portions were a bit on the smaller side, but it was lunch so that made sense. The prices are reasonable but for the portion size, maybe a little high. $50 lunch (including 20% tip). Food came out super fast and was sizzling hot. The reason it's not 5 stars is because of the burrito - which was good, but just OK and we could barely taste the tequila in our marg. We will definitely go back though because we loved the service and the overall vibe.
