Let's start with the good/food. The food here is decent. So far I have tried the curry goat which is a hit every time 8.5 out of 10; the curry chicken, meh 6 out of 10 (between portion/pieces and the lightness of the gravy you're not missing anything); the jerk chicken is smokey and very tasteful. But a sample size at best 7 out of 10 (the pieces given is comical, I will share a photo); the oxtails skip it 5 out of 10 (the gravy is not thick, too much fat on the oxtail, not tender looks and taste more like a stew); the stew chicken 7 out of 10 seasoned well but again portion size; the Snapper.......3 out of 10; and last but not least I tried the Bake and Saltfish, 6 out of 10 (I don't think it was fresh "fresh", but would try again). Overall 6.5 out of 10. The service is great, I've never had a bad experience. The person at the counter has always been friendly. I would say if you want to order ahead, use the website, sometimes the photo doesn't work properly. I've tried calling while inside and the phone did not ring. Not for the bad and ugly. The food here is very expensive compared to other Caribbean spots. The portion sizes are extremely small. There should is not reason a beef Pattie and CoCo bread is $10. I think it's a price gouge because there are no other Caribbean restaurants in the area. Also, it's unclear whether the food is cooked there or not but when you order most times they'll microwave the food in the plastic container it comes in. You can ask them not to microwave it and the food is not piping hot.

Husband and son were craving Jamaican and since this was close to his school they decided to give it a try. My husband ordered the oxtail entree with rice and peas, cabbage and fried plantains. My son ordered ackee and saltfish also served with rice and peas, as well as plantains. The restaurants has a few booths and tables if you choose to dine in. Upon entering you are greeted with a dessert case, above is the menu and to your right are various drink selections. According to their review they'd give this location a 4/5. Hope they continue to offer tasty menu items that represent the island

A friend recommended this place a while back but I haven't been in the area to give them a try yet. It just so happened that I was working in the area today and had a craving for Caribbean cuisine. I chose to get carry out and noticed you are able to make your online so that was a plus. It gave a 30 min time dram so hopefully that meant my food was being freshly prepared. I orders the Ox Tails over peas and rice. It was quite expensive at over 26 dollars. I know the price on Ox Tail has risen recently with its popularity and I was really craving it, so I decided to take the risk. The restaurant is located in a strip mall on Washington Boulevard that's get pretty busy but there is usually ample parking available. When I went it to pick my order up it was sitting at the front counter. Theo woman there was very nice and I noticed the dining area was empty on a Saturday around lunch time. When I got my order back to work ready to dig in and noticed they did not provide a fork. The food smelled great and looked great. For the price I was expecting a larger portion. I had 5 pieces of Ox Tail. Most did not have much meat on them. There was also not much sauce on them and the little that was there was soaked up by the peas and rice. Overall average but not what I expected.

The restaurant was nice and clean. The cashier was friendly. What I initially wanted to order (The Cod Fish Fritters), was not available. I ordered a Chick Pea and Spinach patty and a side order of Callaloo. The patty was a bit thin but tasty. The callaloo was a little salty for my taste and I almost choked on the stems which had a lot of them . It was a bit hard for me to enjoy because I had to keep taking them out of my mouth. Overall I will more than likely go back but will try something else.

The Good : The actually restaurant is very nice,always clean, smells nice, just an overall nice setting. There is also amply parking in the parking lot. Customer Service is always good - not great, but they're not rude and are relatively friendly and helpful. The Not So Good : I've gotten Curry Chicken and Chicken Soup, both were very underwhelming, literally little to no taste. A friend of mine has gotten fish both times ( Snapper ) and Shrimp and they were both really good. So I would - though I won't be coming back because their prices are kind of high for the quality of food you get- I would stick with the seafood. Overall very mediocre experience, wish the food taste better.

nicely appointed. larger than the main street location4 stars for really well made and delicious food 3 stars for the skimpy portion of curry goat fot $19.99. It was like paying $20 for a bowl of rice n peas. I appreciate that meat like goat and oxtail are expensive. It's well known that they both are full of bones and not much meat so if serving customers these dishes at least take that into account and serve a decent portion so maybe they'll get a proper serving of meat. To make it worse was the small serving of vegetables and plantain. I actually think if those were adequate maybe it would not have been so disappointing. Makes me sad because the food had really good flavor.

Decent flavor but not worth the money , portions are way too small . I ordered curry chicken they gave me 1 leg and 1 thigh cut in half to look like 3 pieces and the thigh was super small and mostly bone. I'm not a big eater but this was laughable .

So happy to have a Caribbean spot close to home. This one didn't disappoint! The curried chicken was amazingly flavorful. They even accommodated my request for white meat with portions enough for two. I don't usually do plantain but WOW. Will definitely be back to try the oxtails or brown stew.

Great salmon and oxtail dinner! Sweet plantains and quick service. Stop by for pickup or sit down and enjoy there.

Delicious food always! Service is great too. Wait time is short and they also have homemade drinks to choose from
