Capo Deli

Capo Deli has a menu full of classic, from cold Italians to cheesesteaks and meatball subs. I should have read the reviews before ordering, because I did end up disappointed. I ordered a small cheesesteak on seeded Italian bread. There was one customer in front of me who ordered a sandwich, but it still took 10+ minutes for mine to come out. 10 minutes isn't a crazy long wait or anything, but I was surprised since it was peak lunch time and the restaurant was empty. My actual review of the cheesesteak aligns with what I've seen on other reviews. The subs and sandwiches are extremely thin, with very little meat and cheese. For $15+, I would have liked my sandwich to be packed with more steak. I could barely taste the cheese too.

I got the Chicken Fontina the first time I dined here, and it was good (even if the chicken was burnt around the edges). The extra aioli and banana peppers I requested made up for it. The second time? The chicken was so burnt around the edges, and the aioli was scant. The front register employee was kind enough to provide more upon request, but the sandwich still wasn't doable.

I have gotten sandwiches and lasagna from this place. The sandwiches are very good but I was not impressed by the lasagna - it seemed that the meat was borderline bad and I could only take one bite before throwing it out.

New deli located in Cabin John! They had deli subs (cold and hot options), some pasta, desserts, some alcoholic drinks. A good variety of stuff! Had some seating and a cute chalkboard wall that you could draw on. When we were here we saw most people grab their food to go! I really enjoyed the Italian and meatball sub!

Went for a quick late lunch and the place was empty. I liked the ambiance, nice and new and clean. Decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of selections of cold and hot subs with choice of 3 different breads, as well as some hot entrees and desserts. Had a turkey sub with Italian bread with sesame seeds. The bread didn't have the golden brown toast like the website, but was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside - I enjoyed the texture, but it did scratch up my gums. The sub didn't have any condiments like mayo and mustard and was pretty dry, guess you have to ask for it. The turkey itself was also dry. A very average sub. For $18 for a large sub (about a foot long) and $14 for a small, the value wasn't there. I might go back and try some other subs.

We've only ordered delivery from Capo Deli and overall our experience has been good. My husband and I love the Capo Special, and he said that the chicken parmigiano is also really great. Some of the best things here are how thin they slice their deli meats and of course their amazing Italian seeded bread. I think the first time we got sandwiches here they were truly perfection, the best Italian deli sandwiches we'd ordered since moving here. However, by the third time it was almost as if the deli meats had been sliced SO thin that they had congealed back into their non-sliced form and we felt like we were getting mouthfuls of the Italian deli blocks of meat, which considering how generous their portions are was a bit too much. So overall everything is delicious but there are just some minor issues with consistency; however, we will keep ordering from here!

Sadly, disappointed. They had a team behind the counter just standing around. One cashier. One of serve kiosk that wasn't working properly. And when you ask for assistance, you're meet with deer in headlights. Then the cashier proceeds to take the person behind you instead.Everyone inside waiting for orders. I gave up.

Eat here all the time. Great subs. My fav. Is the cali cheese steak. Would recommend.

The first time I had a takeout sub from his place I loaded, having tried the Italian sub. It was so good that I ordered it together the next time we were to from them, and I'm usually the kind of person to try something different In order to explore the menu. However, the Italian sub was so good the first time that I had it again. It did not disappoint.The only downside is that it is quite expensive, but then again, everything these days is..

This review is mainly about the menu choices, not the food, which may be very good. We didn't actually eat here.I came here with a few friends- it's a tiny place, but thought we could still find something for us to eat.We were surprised that most of menu didn't meet our needs. very meat heavy . how about more vegetarian options?I guess for those that enjoy meat sandwiches this place would be a hit, but for my friends and I who either don't eat meat or are gluten-free, this didn't fit the bill for us.
