I've walked past this place so many times without stopping in, today when I realized I didn't have onions I figured I might as well see what this place has and was very impressed. Corner store with a large selection - has pretty much anything you could need that you forgot at the grocery store, with a larger than expected asian food offering. got the carbonara buldak ramen i saw bread, milk, tomatos, chips, sauce, cereal, etc. And alcohol and chips too, but a great neighborhood offering! clean and well kept, and friendly service!

Maybe the best selection of products in any corner market I've seen. Boutique brands of everything from ice cream sandwiches to ramen. Charcuterie options. Wines. Some beer. And the friendliest staff.

I can't believe I'd not yet taken the time to write this review, as I've been coming here for a decade and am so grateful for them being right up the street. Two things about Capitol Supreme Market stick out:1) The selection. For a small store, they have seemingly everything. Time and time again, I'm surprised by what I've been able to find there - sometimes things I struck out on at larger grocers. From produce, to dairy, canned goods, noodles, spices, and snacks - you'll find all the basics - and more! - as well as a great selection of beer and wine. 2) The people. Seriously, the folks who run this place are SO nice. I always leave with a smile!

Capitol Supreme Market is a legacy on Capitol Hill. It's a small corner shop with all the basic goods from candy to milk to flour. If you're in a bind and can't make it to a grocery store, head to Capitol Supreme Market. They also have plants for sale outside near the icebox. Across the street is a park with a great playground for kids. The market is a great place to stop for a snack after your kids play.

I lived in DC for 4 years right next to Capitol Supreme Market. I loved coming here! Just a happy, warm, friendly atmosphere. I would pop by a few times a week for random ingredients or things I had forgotten. They also have a selection of wine and beer.

I happened to come here on Christmas Day because no one else was open and my holiday plans fell through. I didn't catch his name but the man was super nice. I walked around deciding what I wanted to cook and noticed that their selection of instant ramen/ noodles is super unique! I typically will venture up U St to Hana Market for my Asian grocery run but I love that this spot is closer and can quench any craving I have for noodles! Their wine and beer selection is pretty great for being a super small store too and they definitely have all the essentials for making a small meal. I was able to get all the ingredients to make myself a mushroom lasagna (sans the noodles bc I had at home).

I go there after school and, sure it is convenient but it has gotten so PRICY. A couple months ago something light would be 1.25 now it's 2 DOLLARS. Still probably going to go there but I am disappointed.

Super cute convenient grocery store that serves a great deal of children after school from St. Peters School and neighboring residents alike. Everyday after school let's out you will have an extremely long line of eager children wanting snacks before hitting up the Marion Park playground across the street. This convenient store is not overpriced, in fact everything is quite reasonable in comparison to your run of the mill grocery store. They provide everything you need, so save your trip to the Giant and walk here if you reside in the area.

It's good for a quick snack or last minute shopping. The people are always friendly, though I wish it were closer to the Hill.
