my friend ordered ahead and the bagels were ready when we arrived! we sat at the counter and enjoyed these fantastic bagels. i got the royal palm which is the cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and capers on an everything bagel. everything bagel is my go-to and it paired so well with the salmon. unfortunately everything was slipping out while i was eating it haha but it was still so delicious. bagel had the perfect bite outside with soft interior. i also got to try a bite of the sun city with bacon, eggs, cheese, and spicy honey on the everything. i loved the hot honey pairing with the savory eggs and cheese and salty baconamazing bagel spot!! i miss it already

I was in a rush and the staff here were very helpful. I wanted to try this before I left and the cashier suggested bagels that were readily made. It made my day. Pictured is the Mountain View which is ok to me. I'd expect a bit more flavor. So far I've really enjoyed the thunderbird. Their food comes out piping hot and the bagel bread has a very nice texture, almost like eating an auntie Anne's pretzel where the outside has a smooth crisp and the inside almost has a nice chew. The space is nicely decorated and often crowded.

Today was my 2nd visit to this location (2x in 1 week). Usually, I go to their GA Ave location but I appreciate not having to wait in a long at this Barracks Row location. My go-to is The Royal Palm. It is consistenly good! The bagel has great consistency and taste...they do bagels very well.I always order ahead on their website and I appreciate that the service is quick and friendly. I was reading a great review about their chai latte so I splurged for that today and opted for the oatmilk (+$1).Their colors are cute and today the music was excellent when I picked up my order. This morning, it appeared that they were preparing a large order but they still did so with quick and friendly service. Seems like they found all of the great service employees that DC has to offer (bc I've never had a bad experience, across multiple locations).I'll be back again!

I've come here many times, but this last time was truly the best. I tried the "queens point" bagel, and its definitely my favorite - I won't need to order any other. I brought my friends who were visiting from out of town, they loved it so much they bought a half dozen bagels to bring home! The staff are always very friendly, and the shop is very picturesque. Happy to have a place like this in my neighborhood!

I finally understand the hype. The sandwiches really are delicious. I had bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. It was delicious. I literally ate slow to savor every bite. It's bright, clean, & small in the inside but they have outdoor seating. The service was quick. I'll be back to try a different type of sandwich.

Obsessed!! I'm new to the DC area and when my friend suggested grabbing bagels for breakfast, I was super excited but doubted whether it would live up to bagels I've had in NY.I could tell it was going to be good based on how busy it was on a weekend morning. Luckily the line moves pretty quickly. I loved all the unique bagel options and ended up going for the sweet sriracha. The garlic herb cream cheese was incredible as well. Overall, my bagel sandwich was super flavorful and filling. I ended up going back a second time a few weeks after because I had such a good experience the first time. Highly recommend!

The lines are out the door so you have to be prepared for a bit of a wait. Luckily it moves fast. The cream cheese is made in house and it is soooo good and divine. The everything bagel is good, exactly as you'd expect.

Kind of pricey for a sandwich and coffee between $15-$20But the bagels are good.....................

I work nearby so I popped in when they weren't too busy, just got a plain ol bagel and cream cheese with a cold brew. The service was relatively quick although I can tell they had a lot of takeout orders. My coffee was mostly good although I could tell it was underextracted--seriously stop making cold brew if you can't let it actually brew.The bagel was also pretty mediocre which is disappointing because this brand gets a lot of hype. The bagel was too dense although it had a nice flavor, and the cream cheese was just fine. I don't like doing a whole lot to my bagel (i.e. sandwiches + fancy schmears) so I will personally be continuing to go to Bethesda Bagels for my bagel needs but the niche here is definitely maximalist bagelry if that's your jam.

Stellar food which is both really creative and delicious!I also have to give a big shout out to a gentleman named Matt with a mustache who is a barista at the Capital Hill location. He's incredibly friendly, prompt, and high quality with his service. He represents the Call Your Mother brand and mission very well. We truly enjoy seeing him every weekend when we get bagels and he goes out of his way to say hi to us even though he doesn't know us. Thanks Matt!!
