There wasn't a wait or anything which was cool, although our waiter was a bit slow checking on us. Bless her heart! However, when the food did come, we didn't say much...I had the Wagyu Burger with fries and a side of Sautéed Broccolini! It was -- LIKE THAT!!! So goood. The portion size was perfect, so you don't overeat, but safe to say, I'll be ordering that again.This place was a smash for me. Will be returning. Love the spaciousness of the interior even though we sat by the bar. But what I also love is that the menu isn't lackingggg.. there are ample choices for food items which is a major plus. "I will caveat that I prefer the location in Arlington which I feel has a better space and isn't quite as loud. They get 4 stars, this one gets 3.5 :)The biggest detractor on a Friday or Saturday night is the noise level in this space which makes it hard to play any games where you need to communicate (pandemic legacy is out). Plus the tables are small so Ark Nova is out (which needs like 10 tables to setup), but smaller games with less setup work perfectly. Whether visiting the location in Arlington or DC though, the concept is great. Especially if you are like me and have a teeny tiny apartment where your coffee table doubles as your dining table and there is no rooms for extra bodies to play even the simplest game. The space offers tables, chairs, beverages of the alcohol variety and food -- even better, at the end of the game night, no clean-up! I get to return home to a tiny - yet clean! - apartment :) I enjoy these nights out so much that I have opted to do this for two of my birthdays and am planning to do so for my next in April (at the Arlington location) - so I guess that says something...Finally, I cannot speak to the actual games they have on prem -- I always bring my own, which you are also permitted to do, so I can't say whether or not their selection is good or not... Huh, maybe if I didn't pack my apartment with 100s of games I might actually have room for friends and a gaming table..."

"Have been here a few times and was surprised I had not reviewed it. It's the place to satisfy my occasional burger craving. Came during the week for lunch. It was not busy which surprises me because it is so good. Lots of TVs all on different channels. I got the cheeseburger with blue cheese, extra lettuce, and done medium. My friend also got a burger. We also ordered the cheesesteak (without peppers) out of curiosity.The burger was nearly perfect (cheese wasn't evenly distributed). It had a lot of meat and cheese and lettuce. And the fries delicious; Crunchy and thin but not too thin. Here is the crazy part- the cheesesteak was awesome! Didn't see that coming at all! Wow. The cheese was evenly distributed throughout the meet. Roll perfect fresh and chewiness. OMG- so happy I made this discovery. My waistline may never be the same."

I was here on a Tuesday so I opted for tacos. I'm not big on fish tacos, but theirs made me a fan. This gem is packed with 2 large pieces of fried fillets and the tartar sauce made it even better. The grilled chicken taco was my second favorite with good flavor. Their beef taco was just okay for me. Tacos went well with my Kolsch from Bear Chase. As simple as chips and salsa can be, I'd probably get fries instead. Their chips were subpar and salsa was a sweet kind... not for me. Now I'm looking forward to their burger... when I return to the area."

I also decided to try the ramen. The bartender suggested the Strike Out. I wasn't impressed. The soup, which was curry based, lack flavor. It was missing something. The veggies were cooked well and the noodle were amazing! However, ramen has to have a good soup base to complement everything else. I wanted to love it but it fell short. The chicken was served on the side and was seasoned perfectly! I'd come back to try something else."

"I came here yesterday for karaoke/game night. They have all day happy hour on Wednesdays, so that's good. There are a lot of options on the happy hour menu for drinks and food. The food is pretty bad though. It's bar food, but the bottom-mest of bottom bar food. I ordered the "truffle" fries and a Caesar salad. I put truffle in quotes because there was nothing truffle about it and they used powdered Parmesan cheese on them. Despite this, the fries were actually tasty. Far better than my salad. The main reason I ordered the Caesar salad is because I figured that was something that would be hard to mess up. The first red flag was I saw some cheddar cheese sprinkled on the salad. Lol. I love all types of cheese, but this was unexpected. The salad wouldn't have been terrible if they didn't drown it in dressing. I picked at it, looking for pieces that didn't have so much dressing. In the end I mainly ended up eating the croutons. As for drinks, I kept it simple with a tequila-soda from the happy hour menu. I had two and they were solid. The first one was really strong, which I like. My last critique is that it took a while for us to get our drinks. The food ended up coming out before the drinks. They use a website where you can place your order and conveniently split the bill. I'm not sure if the bartender was backed up, even though it wasn't busy when we first got there. The vibes were cool. The music was very loud, so don't expect to have a lot of conversation. All in all, I don't think that I would come back here."

For my birthday I got 10 friends together and we went to the zoo, and I wanted to find somewhere to grab apps & drinks nearby afterwards. Cleveland Park B&G is walking distance from the zoo's main entrance, and was one of the only spots nearby that would actually take a reservation for a large group (without a reservation fee). Quick highlights:- Location (near the zoo, near metro stops, on a busy street with other spots to visit)-Super friendly staff who made the experience very pleasant -A good amount of space (a rooftop half inside half outside, and a main floor) and the ability to host a bigger group-Easy way to host an event, with an event form on their website-Tvs, nice bar, good food, speciality cocktails, not too spendyI submitted an event reservation through their website, and after emailing back and forth with Tommy a few times, he called me directly to work through the logistics, which was super helpful. In addition to Tommy being helpful he was also so friendly and helped make the whole experience so smooth. I can't remember our bartender/server's name but he was sooo nice, he was patient with the large group and well-humored. I appreciated how chatty he was! But what really was one of the biggest highlights was that he was totally cool with splitting the check 3 ways, which makes such a big difference when having a group event! Thank you so much Cleveland Park Bar and Grill for the fun birthday event and the free drinks hehe:)"

"I went to Dudley's on a Saturday afternoon to watch the EuroCup final. We wanted a spot to watch the game on the big screen and enjoy some solid bites and brews, and they delivered.Because this was a big gameday, the bottom floor was packed (about 30 minutes before the game's start) so we immediately headed upstairs to the roof area. The rooftop was really nice; had alot of bar top seating, a long bar with 15-20 stools, a big screen (or maybe projector) tv. Fortunately, the rooftop is also 'mostly' covered with large cloth awnings to provide some shade from the sun. They also had large fans blowing air out into the space - definitely needed on a 90+ degree day. Unfortunately, those who didn't snag a shaded seat didn't last long on the roof.The drinks were well made and moderately priced - $8 for most beers, seltzers, and rail drinks then $12+ for the cocktails. I stuck to rail rum for the day and my friends had mostly seltzers; can't go wrong here. The food was solid - we got the chips and salsa and some wings to snack on during the game. The salsa was delicious, but they only gave us one small ramekin of it for the entire bowl of chips. The sweet and spicy wings were the perfect balance of sweetness with a kick - I'd definitely get these again.The atmosphere is casual and was just the right amount of rowdy for a soccer game. Nothing stood out as a unique or amazing trait, but definitely a spot I would be more than willing to come back to."

It's nice when every place does not have the same mix of Red Hot and Butter (this was not).So, wings fit the bill. Very salty and spicy if I recall (it was late) and want to come back again soon.My friends enjoyed the shepherd's pie, but it wasn't the best I've had. The beef was kind of mild and the potatoes were not crisped on the top. However, a solid home made offering that you can season as you like and I suppose you can order it "crispy" to make sure it comes out that way. Yeah, I'd order it again."

I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw this was a sports bar, but this isn't just typical bar food. They have the large TVs and a fully stocked bar to accompany delicious (and well priced!) Ethiopian food. For $15 my boyfriend and I split the veggie combo, which satisfied us both- if you are STARVING you would probably need a little more between two people but this served as a great dinner for us. The veggie combo was amazing with a ton of variety and different flavors to scoop up with the injera. Service was prompt and respectful, especially during COVID times. They were open for sit down seating (indoor only and there weren't many people inside) as well as takeout. If I'm back in this area I will definitely eat here again!"

"First time here. I can't rave enough what an amazing place this is. I went to watch a live flamenco band with a girlfriend. Start of show was 9pm, we arrived 9:15. We were lucky there was still a few tables left available. In Spanish fashion the live band didn't start till 10:15pm. Which was fine because it gave us some time to unwind and get our drinks. Once the show started the audio was on point. We ordered Moscow mules and carne asada sandwhich. The sandwhich was delicious. I saw many people kept ordering the mussels. So it's on my list to try next time. There was no cover to come watch the show. Which was another huge plus. For the quality of the act and the experience it was definitely top notch and a $100 price tag for the show alone. Which is what I paid for previously for a flamenco show. Space had about 15 tables, a dance floor to fit another 30 and a bar area for another 15 as well.See you soon Simple!!!"

I think it gets backed up in the kitchen because you can watch the cooks moving slowly in the kitchen while the servers busily move about tending to customers or wait patiently for food to come up for delivery from the kitchen. See the picture below. The prices are decent and the food was excellent and full of flavor but it was just slow. I recommend the Tex Mex chicken nachos and teriyaki steak. I loved that they have Guinness on draft too. The only thing that marked them down was the bar had some rowdy guests, and while the manager quickly addressed it, that did not happen until a few people mentioned it. The behavior at the bar should have never become an issue for patrons because management, or the bar tender, should have stepped in before guests called attention to it."

"I have not been back since they re-opened recently. That being said, I LOVE the food. I have never been disappointed with the food or the staff. The place is small, warm and welcoming. I really like it. My only complaint is the speed of service. I have been four times and every single time it took forever to get our food. This may have changed with the re-open but I can't say. I guess I will have to see when I go back. Like it is so slow you could pre-order from Baltimore, drive to NE DC and take your time parking and maybe your order will be ready. Maybe..But if you have time to sit back, sip on your drinks, chit chat with your party and wait for your food for only God knows how long... I think you should give it a try."
