"Ordered the "Chicken Fricassee " w/ white meat only plus rice & peas ... it's plenty of delicious food ! I mean it's really delicious! It comes with some kind of dipping sauce (liquid) which adds a savory kick ! We buy from Negril somewhat often & will definitely be back! My mom got the curried chicken dinner w/ rice/peas and light cabbage ! She's full , quiet and very happy indeed ! Mission accomplished Negril!"
"got lo mein, it was ok but overpriced for such a small portion. definitely was surprised when i opened the bag. husband also said place smelled like moth balls"

"Urban Hot Pot is a great spot for hot pot lovers. I recently had dinner here. The interior is well-maintained, clean, and comforting, but be prepared for a bustling atmosphere during peak dinner hours. The restaurant gets quite busy, and with no reservations available for parties smaller than four, it's best to arrive early and join the waitlist. The ordering process is smooth and modern. While the conveyor belt feels unnecessary, the tablet-based system is incredibly convenient, with food delivered quickly to the table. The ingredients--meats, seafood, and vegetables--were fresh, and the soups were flavorful, with the tom yum broth being my favorite. The brisket, Australian beef, and rice cakes were ingredients I enjoyed and recommend. The sauce bar offers a good variety, though its placement in a cramped corner can make it feel a bit chaotic. Additionally, as with most hot pot experiences, expect your clothes to pick up the smell of the food, so dress accordingly. Unfortunately, there are no under-the-chair compartments or designated spots to store jackets or sweaters. That said, the ventilation is good and it doesn't feel muggy inside the restaurant. That said, the fresh ingredients, efficient ordering system, and delicious flavors make this a great place to get hot pot. Just give yourself some extra time for seating if you're with a small group."
"Tons of choices for sushi- very creative and varied. The food was absolutely delicious! We got the sweet potato roll and Amigos roll plus appetizers and devoured everything! The green tea ice cream was of great quality and perfectly capped off our lunch on this hot day!"
"My family used to go to China Star regularly. When Chef Yan took its place, we were a bit worried; however, it hasn't skipped a beat. Chef Yan is easily the best Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant in the DMV (Mama Chang's doesn't hold a candle to Chef Yan). Pretty much everything we order is fantastic and the sheer number of menu items makes it that much more impressive. There are easily 20-30 amazing dishes on this menu. During our most recent visit, we stuck to the seafood, ordering the Chongqing fish and the fish and tofu in chili oil. Both were excellent -- very spicy -- and right up there with the dishes we normally order here. Anyone giving Chef Yan less than 4 stars doesn't have a clue!"
"My wife and I came here for Winter Restaurant Week and we had a great time! We had a full 3-course meal: Apps (Caesar Salad & She Crab Soup), Entrée (Salmon Oscar), and Dessert (Basque Style Cheesecake). You can't go wrong with Caesas Salad, but it was okay. Nothing special. My wife enjoyed the crab soup but the sherry took away from the experience. It wasn't bad though. The Entrées were BANGIN!!!! So gooooddd... the salmon, postatoes, and grilled asparagus - was "LIKE THAT!" It was so good, we were apalled. The entree alone sealed the deal for us. We WILL be coming back.Customer Service was so personable, and the waiters were "ON IT!" Super attentive; 10 out of 10.We weren't fans of the cheesecake. Just not what we were used to (i.e. New York Style) but it wasn't "the worst," or bad. It was decent. All in all-- We're gonna have to come back and try some other dishes."
"This place may be kind of tricky to find at first, but if you can find the Marriott hotel right outside of Fair Oaks mall you'll be able to find 703 bar + kitchen. (It's inside the hotel)My girlfriend, parents, and I had dinner here one night. Our waiter Dominique (according to the receipt) was very helpful and pretty friendly. He was able to answer every question we had about the food there. We were there just in time for happy hour, so we ended up ordering a lot of food. Good thing too, because the portion sizes are fairly small. Let's start off with the chicken wings. For $9 you get 3 pieces. Although the chicken was fantastic, the $3/1 wasn't too appealing. The chicken was coated in a sauce I can't quite remember, but I do remember it giving the chicken a great taste. The tator tots were so delicious that we ended up getting three orders of them! Again, the portion was a bit small, but the fact they were half off for happy hour made it enjoyable. For my main course, I ordered the country fried steak. While I was expecting a big slab of fried steak like what you would find at an IHOP or elsewhere, this place served what would've been a 1/3 or so of that. But, looks can be deceiving. Despite it being 1/3 the size I was expecting, it was a 9/10 in taste. It definitely tasted better than the bigger steaks! I think what made it so delicious was that the steak was drenched in the gravy. Also, the meat was of a higher grade than most country fried steaks. For dessert, we had a bread puddling and a brownie with vanilla ice cream. Both were fantastic and definitely good enough to quench a sugar craving. Overall, despite the portions being fairly small, I would definitely try this place again. Their happy hour specials were great, and the food was way better than expected!"
"My wife recently placed an online order for this trending hibachi spot in my neck of the woods. I was parked outside the establishment as my wife was discussing the order details with me over the phone. As soon as the order was placed, I walked in to let them know that I'm waiting to receive my order. I asked the gentleman at the counter how long it would take to complete it and he said "7 minutes". Surely enough, after 7 minutes my order was ready. The order was completed correctly with the indicated modifications and allergy alerts. The place is mostly to go. They have some picnic tables with benches outside and a huge order window. On that day it was particularly hot out so their window was closed. Although inside was still relatively cool, considering that they have an open kitchen with two big flat tops blasting heat and it being so hot outside. My wife said the online order process was seamless, straight forward and user friendly. We both ordered their steak hibachi bowls which were generous in portion. The steak was soft and flavorful, we both opted for fried rice and that was tasty as well. The zucchini, onion and broccoli were cooked well and also had nice umami and texture. Nothing was mushy. This is considering that I drove home and the food was consumed about 45 minutes after picking it up. You certainly get a good amount of food for the price you pay and the quality is not sacrificed. I'll be returning to try some of their other offerings next time we're in the mood for hibachi."
"Service: Meh. It takes a long time almost every time I go to get servedFood: I always get the snow crab special with medium spice and the boom. I get extra sausage. It's good to me. I would say 8/10 which is enough for me to go back. Ambiance: if you wanna watch a game this is a great place to come. It looks like a sports bar. Love the Virginia location more but this isn't bad"
"Live like there'll be no tomorrowPut this in your mouth and then swallowWhen in Silver SpringThere is only one thingTo eat: chicken and sauce from Don Pollo!First there was Don Quixote, Don Corleone, and Don Henley. Now there is Don Pollo. My notes say - pretty yummy chicken, cheap, not bad at all, sauces were just fine, service friendly.Considering that it is one of the less heralded places for Peruvian chicken in the area, it was actually pretty impressive. Definitely more Salvadoran than it is Peruvian, but absolutely worth your time, and they were pretty friendly as well which was an added bonus. So if you're driving by, Pollo-ver to the side and try this out."
"Manassas was in need of a good cocktail spot and Voodoo Brothers has been one of the new spots to really deliver. A great restaurant and bar with creative cocktails, great service, friendly staff, and in my opinion one of the best burgers in town. You may ask why I got a burger in a spot specializing in cajun food and po boys, but I don't have a good answer for you. I was craving a burger and it far surpassed my expectations. And the sauce. Holy cow the sauce. Get anything that has the voodoo sauce. Family got the catfish, jambalaya and fried okra. All were raved about. I don't think I've ever seen my mother in law finish her plate at a restaurant and that catfish and crab rice dish was demolished."
"Some notes just for my memory:Garlic Shrimp: I asked for them to be "easy on the garlic" since they were for the kiddo (7 year old). He loved them. Unfortunately there were only six little shrimps.Dal Tadka: I asked for no red peppers because this was for the kiddo too. He loved it and ate a ton. I think this came with some plain rice flavored with cumin.Jeera Rice: Asked this to be extra mild for the Kiddo and he still said it was too spicy for him. I think he was just psyched out by the yellow color. I thought it was zero spicy and I liked it :)Mango Lassi: Tasty! Not too sweet. Very thick. Kiddo loved it.Mixed Biryani: Wife got it and thought it was too a bit too salty. I ate some and thought it was on the edge but still good. If we'd grabbed some raita or something to go with this it would have been perfect. The bits of meat I had were tasty and tender. Kiddo ate some of the shrimp and salmon chunks from this and liked it. This was "mild" spicy according to their menu and much spicier than the Jeera rice ... which he had said was too hot for him hahaha. He's such an unreliable narrator.Samosa Chaat: this was pretty good and a nice portion for $7. It would be better to eat there since the crispy bits on top were soft by the time I got it home. Next time!Overall I think this could be a solid spot. I see they do Indian pizza! Ever since I moved away from Sunnyvale I've been on the lookout for a place that does good Indian pizza. I'll def be trying this place again."

Negril never disappoints! My go to dish is the curried shrimp but I also enjoy the variety of rotis. The patties are tasty and make a great snack. The curried veggies are delicious. The coco read is amazing (why don't I jut buy a half dozen to have the bread on hand for breakfast!). The rum cake is the perfect ending to any Negril meal -- tasty and not too sweet. The staff is always pleasant, too!

I've been coming here for years, since 2017. The quality of the food and portion sizes were much more satisfying back then. Now the quality and portion sizes have gone down considerably. I understand the price increases, but you need to stop shrinking your containers down into smaller sizes and saying it's the same size when it's not! Also, the food has gotten to look like a grease pot. Too much oil and it's disgusting. They need to go back to the way they cooked a few years ago and stop getting cheap!

Tucked in Mosaic, Urban Hot Pot is an all-you-can-eat spot perfect for two or four! My best friend and I were in the area thrift shopping and were looking for a dinner spot. Having heard of their $34.99 all inclusive hot pot deal, we were both excited to try it out.We were seated very quickly and got right to ordering. You essentially use the iPad menu to order all soup bases, meats, vegetables, and beverages. Not to mention, there is also dessert, tea, and lemon water included in the deal - great additions!I went with the split pot of half Mala Spice and Herbal stews. I personally love my hotpot to be spicy, so I was not disappointed with my choices. My friend and I got to ordering all of our favorite cuts of beef, lamb, tofu, vegetables (including corn - pairs so well with the Mala broth), chicken dumplings, and a standout favorite, marinated shrimp! For all the sauce lovers out there, there is a sauce bar to create your favorite concoctions! I stuck to getting ginger and green onions to liven up my broths. We truly savored each bite and had so much fun with new menu item we incorporated into our individual pots. For dessert, I tried their fruit, ice cream cup, and coconut cake - a great way to finish off the meal. We ensured no food went to waste and left the restaurant with a full stomach and smiles all around! The service was speedy, clean, and friendly. I especially appreciated how the staff was kind and attentive each time they visited our table with new items. It was a busy night, but that did not prevent them from providing excellent customer service. Will 100% be back again!

As a frequent sushi eater- I can confidently say that this is my number one favorite sushi restaurant in the area. From the vast selection they have on the menu to the always quick and efficient seating/tabling- this is the best.I have been going to Kumo Sushi since before the pandemic, so for at least 4 years now and haven't had a bad experience.I highly recommend the incredible huck roll (middle round dish in photo), that is a crowd favorite! I also recommend trying their cocktail drinks (not pictured) as I've had a few over the years and they're delicious. While the price range isn't cheap, the quality and experience make up for the price in of itself. I tend to come on birthdays and anniversaries to make it feel even more special for the higher price!Overall: I continue to come back and always recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family!

I tried the Wharf in Old Town and it was a great way to spend a beautiful evening! I sat outside and watched Old Town Alexandria go by. Service was stellar; i was dining alone, so I always appreciate a kind server. We started with bread! It's always a treat to get warm bread as you sit down. I got the she crab soup, which was super flavorful and had a decent amount of crab in it. I also got the Caesar salad and topped it with a crab cake. The Caesar was good, but the crab cake was stellar. It was all lump crab, had a perfect light sear, and was perfectly seasoned. Was it probably a little pricy? Sure, but it was a delicious dinner in a great setting!

This place is interesting because I have never really seen this place pop up in my searches until now. Some good things are that with our check in on yelp, we received a 20% discount on our food. That's a win in itself. It's located on the first floor of the Marriot hotel right by Fair Oaks mall. The food was surprisingly good here. They serve small plates as shown in the pictures I've included. But the big ticket item is the burger! If you like 5 Guys style burgers, this is very similar but better in my opinion. Plus it comes with fries that are also really good.If you're looking for a different spot to check out, don't forget about some of the restaurants and bars that are hidden in nearby hotels. But before you check out any of those, stop by 703 first. You won't be disappointed.

The food and service here is excellent. I have had the chicken and the shrimp and the salmon and all were excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The food is fresh and I always feel as though I am eating healthy. They don't have any inside seating but there are picnic tables if you want to eat there or you can take it to go. I highly recommend.

"I was skeptical at first especially during the Covid years but, this place has a lot of good choices to choose from while still practicing safety protocols with germs/Covid. Their food is very tasty/flavorful & even a section that cooks stir fry food for you as well."
"Alonzo was the best. Such great recommendations, cocktails, and conversation. The whole staff is wonderful and the food is GREAT.If they'd serve pisco sours, that'd make it even more perfect ;-)"
"Generally the food is excellent when you can catch them open. Everything is slamming except the crab cake!"
"The food was delicious! I haven't had fried okra in 30 years and this was just as tasty and crispy as I remembered! The peach cobbler is in a small container that I doubt was made on site, but I could make two servings out of it and it was also delicious! I ordered online and it was ready for pick up when I got there. The one guy there was nice. It is a small place that I am not sure is considered a place to dine, but for takeout it is great!"
"Had a great experience at the Palm! Went for Mother's Day with my mom. All the food was good from the soups which were creamy and not too fishy for being lobster bisque and clam chowder, to the steak which was cooked to perfection (medium rare), to the tiramisu which was rich, creamy and delicious! The service was ourstanding. Even though it was crazy packed that evening, our server John was extremely attentive, nice, and took great care of us. When John was busy the other servers were also willing to step in for the smaller needs including more water, boxes, etc. Great experience overall and can't wait to go back to try more on the menu!"
"Shrimp fajita grits and whiting with Mac/cheese were ordered. The service was great! Inside, there was a sign stating that they had recently painted so part of the lobby was blocked off with limited seating available to dine. The food was less than ok with the exception of the fish which my son said was excellent. It is not somewhere I'll visit in the future."
"Matsu Sushi is the absolute gold standard in neighborhood sushi spots. I have been going since I was a kid and the consistency in terms of food quality, service, and pricing is amazing. My family and friends trek far and wide for a taste of this family-owned Centreville gem. A few updates or notes: They no longer do complimentary gyoza and edamame but have been able to maintain their Y2K era prices on sushi which I can appreciate. My favorite rolls include: scallop nigiri, hamachi nigiri, fatty tuna nigiri, vegas roll, spider roll, and the kabuki roll. The fried banana and ice cream is also a must, even if you are stuffed! There is a private party room in the back"
"TIP: Ask for the crazy crab mixin special sauce on the side. You can dip your seafood into this sauce!Without the tip above, the food is only a 3.5/5 for me, but the sauce on the side to dip it in really elevates the seafood. All the seafood here is pretty decent, but I recommend the shrimp, snow crabs, and green mussels. Also get the oysters if you're into oysters! The raw oysters are pretty good here for AYCEThe total was a bit pricy for AYCE for two people so come ready to eat a lot if you're doing AYCE. Our total was around $130 for two people (before tip)."
"The service was great. The food was all-around decent. I personally enjoyed the steamed crab legs and crab cakes. I would suggest those items when ordering from here. The fish was decent as well, it could've been great if it had more seasoning. Overall not a bad experience and willing to try again soon due to the great service."
"I come to Kilroy's almost every Sunday for the karaoke :) Starts at 8:30pm, good group of regulars and their bar food is pretty darn good. Recommend the catfish fried!"
"Quick. Attentive. Polite. Accommodating. Clean. Delicious. Off the top of my head these words come to mind. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Listen to this tho...get the steak tacos. I stole one from some else plate and whooooo it was so flavorful. Hope you enjoy."
"I had dinner last night with my cousin, who was visiting from New Orleans and craving good Southern cuisine. I figured this new spot would be worth a try, and overall, it didn't disappoint! The ambience is absolutely gorgeous. We went for dinner, but I can only imagine how stunning it must be during the day with the waterfront view. It's a great setting for catching up with family and friends. The food was really good and definitely reminded me of home. We started with oysters, corn, cornbread, and deviled eggs--all delicious. I also tried a pickled martini for the first time; while it wasn't my favorite, it was still an interesting experience. For dinner, we had the catfish and grits, chicken and waffles, and the hanger steak with fries. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The service was solid--friendly and attentive. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that while everything was good, nothing completely blew me away. Still, I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for quality Southern-inspired food in a beautiful setting."
"Service is great, but the seating for a group of 6 split between one grill was a little chaotic, especially when we arrived starving. The price point is fair, and it's cool that seafood gets included. We pretty much tried every protein available, but our favorites included: thin-sliced brisket because it cooks quick and goes great with sauce, thin-sliced pork belly, and spicy pork belly. Our favorite side was the fried rice cake! The corn cheese came in small little foil cups that seemed to be portioned out for individual servings. The industrial decor inside makes it look pretty cool. The lighting is alright, and it's a fun time with a group to enjoy a meal. 1 grill for 6 people was crazy, and we ended up eating more rice than meat due to being absolutely hungry though."
"India!!!! Best server everOrder the Brussel sprouts...delicious with bacon and super crispy. Chicken salad was delicious. Wife loved the fondue. I liked it and the cheese was ai little watery for me.Well be back. Thanks"
"Accidentally happened upon Pokemoto when I was looking at a map of downtown Fairfax, so I decided to check it out! The space is really cute and has some good areas for food/boba pics :). I got a build-your-own poke bowl, and the price was reasonable. They weighed out both the amount of rice and the amount of fish (2 oz / scoop), which I always appreciate so that you know your bowl is consistent. I also always like when the seaweed salad and kani salad are included as toppings, which Pokemoto had. However, the scoops of toppings were pretty small, particularly my kani salad. The regular bowl still ended up being a good size and very filling. The bowl itself was a little hard to eat out of, but it didn't cause too much of an issue. I loved the flavors and options of the sauces! When I got to the bottom of the bowl, my remaining bites seemed pretty saucy, so I think a taddd less sauce might have been better, but overall it added a good flavor to the rice. I would love to come back to Pokemoto in the future and maybe even try their lobster seafood salad or boba/tea options that I'd been eyeing."
"Our family loves to come to the Seafood Shack at Whole Foods for made to order seafood for the past 13 years. Everything is fresh and made to order. Best part is it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend the fried calamari, seafood bouillabaisse, and their fish and chips ."
"I've been to Coastal Flats inside the Tysons Mall several times now, and they never fail to deliver on the food and service! I always get the fish tacos because the fish is always perfectly fried- not oily at all and the slaw on top is fresh with a hint of sweetness from the corn! The fries here are also always soooo crisp and piping hot, which I absolutely love! Another item I can't not order when I come here is the calamari. I'm usually not a fan of green beans but the sweet zingy chili sauce they toss the beans and calamari in is absolutely addicting. Not a single piece is left on the plate when I finish- it's seriously that good. The service is also always top-notch here as the waiters are always friendly and willing to answer anything about the menu or their current specials. The restaurant is fairly dimly lit, but it's very spacious and the booth seating feels pretty private and cozy! Overall, I make it a point to come to Coastal Flats whenever I'm in the mood for some yummy tacos and calamari!"
"A hidden gem!! Sit at the counter and let the chef choose all your dishes. Best sushi around with exceptional service!"
"When my daughters came home from college, all they wanted to do is have some good Indian food and this place had us talking about it for days. It's authentic delicious and there's a reason it's been there a long time!!"
"A nice place with good food options and friendly service. The ambiance is enjoyable, though the music was a bit louder than I would prefer. Overall, a good experience, and I would come back for the crab legs."
"Solid, age old spot. We had dinner at almost 8pm and the crowd was clearing out. The dining room got quieter as people were finishing their dinners. The tables were a bit close to each other but it was fine. Our server wasn't too on top of his game but he looked very tired. He was forgetting drinks, never came back with cheese for the top of my pasta, didn't know how to answer my partner's question about what type of beer, etc. My spouse questioned whether his steak was actually A5 -- it was on the cheaper end, and when it came out he definitely said it probably wasn't to that quality. He eats a lot of steak. I really enjoyed my meal though. I got chicken Parm and the chicken was nicely breaded and smothered in cheese. The sauce was chunky tomato which I like. My only complaint was that it didn't come with a lot of pasta, which is surprising... Usually carbs are easy and cheap. And you can't even see it here, cuz there just wasn't that much of it. The cheesecake is Junior's from New York. It was a bit more crumbly than I like, and I wasn't a huge fan of the bourbon caramel sauce. There's also barely any crust, which is one of my favorite parts of cheesecake. I did like the clotted cream and mint on the side, it gave the cheesecake more character. The servers came over to sing happy birthday to our friend... They'd been doing it all night. We heard several tables being serenaded, including the one right next to us, right before us! Overall, not bad, I really did enjoy the chicken parm. I had never been to this location and I enjoy looking at people's faces drawn on the wall."
"Very nice restraunt style accommodations inside the Holiday Inn Carlyle. Our server on several days was Mohammed. He is very friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond to give us fast friendly service, even on the busiest of days. I highly recommend you have him serve you for your delicious meal."
"Visited SPS Cuisine at their new location at Hideaway in Clinton, MD. You order your food at the bar from the SPS staff. While you wait you can enjoy your time at hideaway. They have a full bar, juke box and pool tables. I ordered the SPS basket with Zerk(sweet jerk) wings, steak and cheese egg rolls and fries. The food came out fresh and full of flavor. The egg rolls were my favorite, seasoned well and provolone instead of American! I will def return to check out more items!"
