"Had lunch here today. They have a combo with a salad, pasta or Entree, soda and a scoop of Gelato for Dessert. This was what I ordered. I had a salad and the rigatoni. It was absolutely delicious! Everything hot and fresh. I ate all of it and was not overly full like I typically am. I will definitely be back to support."
"Adas is right on the riverfront and have both indoor and outdoor seating. When I went it was such a warm and beautiful day so seating outside required a wait. Inside the seating was very close, only a feet or so from people so I opted to sit at the bar for more privacy. The menu had several delicious choices for both food and drink and our bartender was sweet and checked in often. The market fish sandwich served mahi-mahi. It was a bit messy with a lemon aïoli, but very yummy! The thick cut fries were the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! The wine and cocktails were well crafted and yummy! I'd come back here anytime!"

"Very first thing to notice about this establishment is that it is inside a house, super cute location! I love that its setting really sets it apart from other restaurants. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, parking appears to be plentiful albeit street parking. We were immediately greeted once going inside, and also promptly served by our waiter. They have an extensive brunch and lunch menu alike. Average prices for a restaurant in this area. Portion sizes were not massive which I really appreciated, but perhaps others might want multiple items from the menu if extra hungry. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I requested my server surprise me with his favorite sandwich. He chose the croque monsieur and I was very happy with this option. Thanks for a great lunch today, Del Ray Cafe!"
"Food was great the yams off the chain. Fried chicken was good. No crowd ordered online and food was ready when I walked in the door."
"The service was great. 10/10. We sat upstairs and it was nice and intimate. The food was fresh and yummy. They have good bread and butter. We had the seafood gumbo was delicious. The sea crab soup was okay. Enjoyed the seafood omelet with a side of vegetables 10/10. We also had the fried catfish. The champagne with strawberries was a nice touch."
"Lunch buffet today, yay! Food was delicious Service was top notch and very pleasant interactions with the staff."
"Matsu Sushi is the absolute gold standard in neighborhood sushi spots. I have been going since I was a kid and the consistency in terms of food quality, service, and pricing is amazing. My family and friends trek far and wide for a taste of this family-owned Centreville gem. A few updates or notes: They no longer do complimentary gyoza and edamame but have been able to maintain their Y2K era prices on sushi which I can appreciate. My favorite rolls include: scallop nigiri, hamachi nigiri, fatty tuna nigiri, vegas roll, spider roll, and the kabuki roll. The fried banana and ice cream is also a must, even if you are stuffed! There is a private party room in the back"
"Went to Luke's Lobster with a friend on a Friday afternoon. It was pouring out so it wasn't packed and the staff was very welcoming. Luke's lobster always has great quality food and comes out in a timely manner. Even though it's not exactly a sit down greeted by server type restaurant, they still bring the food to wherever you decide to sit which is nice because you don't have to awkwardly stand in front of them until the food is ready. The only down side is that the price range is very high. It is high quality food though so I'm not complaining, but it's just not something I would get on a daily basis."
"Went for dinner on Friday evening and the place was empty but buzzing with pickups for take out orders. The interiors are minimal with cute hand paintings on the walls. The hosts are very polite, friendly and accommodating. We had the Taiwanese popcorn crispy chicken, hot and sour soup, Mongolian chicken and mapo tofu. Every single dish was flavorful but the pick was probably the soup and the Mongolian chicken. Definitely coming back again to try more dishes and even take out if it falls in our delivery radius"
"Fontina Grille: Where Dining Becomes an Art Form! If excellence could be served on a platter, Fontina Grille would be the Michelin-starred sculptor behind it. From the moment I walked in, I felt like royalty who somehow stumbled upon the holy grail of Italian restaurants in the DMV. I'm never going anywhere else, because clearly, this place was crafted by the pasta Gods themselves. Now, let's talk about Declan. This man is not just a waiter--he's a hospitality virtuoso, a maestro of LEGENDARY service. Declan served with the kind of confidence, precision, and charm that one would expect only in dreams or in five-star Italian dining halls on the Amalfi Coast. His attentiveness was nonplussable (and yes, I dare you to try and outdo it). I wouldn't be surprised if he moonlights as a diplomat or a secret agent because his service was that smooth.Jennifer, his right-hand helper, deserves a standing ovation. She made everything seamless, adding warmth, grace, and an extra sparkle to an already stellar experience. I'm convinced they have some secret handshake, a dance of synchronized efficiency and care. It's like watching a beautiful duet--where plates and glasses are the choreography and customer delight is the standing ovation. The food? Oh, bella vita! I had a salad so fresh, it may have whispered compliments back at me. My friend's pasta dish was a carb-laden poem--tender, flavorful, and divine. Each bite was a crescendo of Italian bliss. Clearly, the kitchen staff channels their inner Da Vinci every time they plate a dish.If this restaurant were a movie, it would sweep the Oscars. If it were a song, it would top the charts. If it were a unicorn, it would be the kind that sprinkles magic over your life.To Declan, Jennifer, and the entire Fontina Grille team: Grazie mille ! And "Un milione di grazie." You made me feel special, seen, and incredibly grateful. Never changing. Ever.IN SUMMARY: **Fontina Grille is, without question, the pinnacle of Italian dining--an experience of unparalleled excellence. Every detail, from the service to the cuisine, resonates with authentic passion and flawless execution. Simply put, it is the *apex* of EPIC Italian culinary artistry and the finest I have ever encountered. **You become alive when you have gone to Fontina Grille - or maybe you will even become a unicorn ITALIAN MAGIC PIXIE DUST WILL FOLLOW YOU FOREVER"
"The food here is stellar. I love spicy food, and they offer food that is actually spicy. Not American levels of spice. Actually spicy. Of course you can also get it not spicy, as they offer a sliding scale of spice levels. Every dish I've gotten here has been very delicious. They've got many delicious vegetarian options. Portions are large. Staff are friendly and food comes out quick. There is minimal indoor seating and the vibe is bare, so I mostly order takeout."
"Delicious seafood pasta! The kids menu was also good with big servings (Mac and cheese was very good). The service was excellent and had a good ambiance."

Comfortable classy restaurant with relaxed vibe. They make their own pasta from scratch and it shows in the flavor. The servers were attentive and courteous. We'd love to visit again when in the area.

I've had Ada's On The River on my must-visit list for the past four years, and I finally made it happen on my birthday! Even without a reservation, I was able to dine in at either the bar or the counter. Since we were a party of three and there weren't three seats together at the bar, we opted for the counter. To start, I sipped on The Star of Brunch, a delightful mix of New Amsterdam vodka, vanilla, passion fruit, mango, and sparkling wine--bright, fruity, and refreshing. We also shared the Brunch Bread Basket, a beautifully curated selection of an orange pecan sticky bun, Nutella baba, raspberry scone, espresso coffee cake, and a lemon poppy seed muffin--perfect for those who love a little bit of everything. For entrées, Iris enjoyed the Pork Schnitzel, my husband went for the Crab and Avocado Toast, and I indulged in the Maine Lobster Omelette, which was rich, flavorful, and a true treat for a special occasion.Overall, Ada's lived up to my long-standing anticipation with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a memorable birthday brunch!

Went here to eat on Saturday night but beware, do not come without making a reservation, although we made a reservation we did have a 15 min wait for our table because the restaurant was so busy. Completely made sense because the food was really good & the staff is very attentive we never had empty glasses on the tape for more than 2 seconds. Our party got the seafood sample & the braised short rib, the bread pudding, the chocolate crème brûlée & the pecan pie .We will be back!

I really liked the change must try spot now. Don't underestimate it just because it is under the apparent building, try the food and service before u judge.

I won't be shellfish and gatekeep this place. Matsu sushi has ebi-thing: fresh sushi/sashimi, good prices, and kind staff. I am not a huge sushi eater, but my family and I both really enjoyed a light dinner after the spa...thanks to yelp showing me what was around. Matsu sushi had great reviews and I can see why. We came around 7:00pm on a Sunday night, and it was pretty full but luckily we were sat right away mear the sushi bar. We ordered the sushi and sashimi combo, chicken teriyaki, and Sapporo. The sushi and sashimi seemed fresh and were tasty. The chicken teriyaki came on a hot plate with lots of veggies under it, and a serving of rice on the side (just fyi--doesn't come as a bento box). Waitresses were kind and didn't rush us. Gave us all appetizer salads, miso soup despite only ordering 2 entrees. Service was good. The restaurant was clean, yet a bit small. Not super trendy for the world of instagram and tik tok, just like a neighborhood sushi house. Would recommend and would return! Glad to have discovered Matsu.

New England style lobster shop. The food is fresh, local-sustainable sourced seafood and the atmosphere is casual. The eating space is limited, but there is seating for dining in. Prices are somewhat steep, but they are totally worth it.This tiny shop in in Georgetown DC offers lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls as the main attraction. Coleslaw and pickles are optional, but essential sides for your roll. Also, they offer chips, sodas and brew as a option as well. The roll itself, at first glance, is not huge at all....BUT, I will be honest and must admit here.....it is packed with lobster meat! I talkin' a mound of seafood served chilled atop a buttered, griddled New England split-top bun. There is definitely a hint of mayo-herb based dressing and lemon that hit your taste buds...but the finisher is the highlight for me. I'm talking about that hot, melted warm-butter drizzled all over the sandwich and topped off with some kind of old bay seasoning that's a winner!! I couldn't put my finger on...but definitely memorable. Talk about an "amuse-bouche"...me being fancy to say...perfectly, small bites of heaven. And, saying small in measure is by no means to say it is not satisfying. The sandwich alone was surprisingly filling and met all expectations. You can tell the focus of the sandwich is all about "Da Lobstah!"The shrimp and crab rolls fall in line to this cadence. They are stuffed full of juicy seafood...and are even more affordable than the signature lobster roll. The clam chowder and the lobster bisque are both admirable renditions as well. I recommend Luke's Lobster. If you are looking for the true taste of a Maine Lobster roll meal, be sure to stop by here!* Honorable Mention: They offer a Lobster Grill Cheese Sandwich....that I am definitely eyeing and looking to try on my next visit

"This is a 10/10 restaurant. Service, food, drinks, location, ambiance is phenomenal. We had the calamari, chicken piccata and pork chops. SO good! Too bad we live in Texas, otherwise I'd be a regular!"
"Will I come back here? ABSOLUTELYFirst off...a happy hour? On a Saturday? From 3:30-6:30? The oysters were amazing, the crab cake sliders and the buffalo chicken sliders were the perfect touch. Unfortunately they didn't make the photo because they were gone in 2 seconds. The beer selection is top tier and the service was good. My only wish is that they opened the patio coming in because the view would've been a little better instead of the patio on the side but didn't stop our grub on at all."
"This is our go to place for vegetarian Chinese. The food is great and the people that work there are just lovely too - have been there for years."
"We return to Clare & Don's repeatedly - mostly because of all the vegetarian options, but also because there are meat, fish, and gluten-free options, making it a great place to meet friends of all eating preferences. The atmosphere is beachy, they add more items on the walls over the years, and they play beachy music too. They have live bands both on their outdoor stage and indoors, usually in the evening. They are also good for sports fans - they have a few screens showing whatever sports are in season. Service is very good for a casual place. I have seen some of the same staff there for years, which I think is a good sign. It does have some grit to it, it's not highly polished, and the bathrooms could use an upgrade. But it is a reliable eating and drinking establishment, we have never had a bad time."
"Let me start off by saying; yes the reviews are correct!! Their drinks are strong and their food is good! I drank 2 long islands, which tasted like an actual Long Island, and ate half dozen whole wings which end up being a dozen regular wings! That mamba sauce they serve it with wow! Delicious! The bartender was attentive and the conversation flowed effortlessly. Will definitely come back when in DC!"
"I like coming to this restaurant. Usually the food/drinks I get have always been good. This visit was no exception. We got here early one weekend afternoon - the lot was partially filled, but the area of the restaurant we were seated in only had (I would say) two other parties at the time and it was almost empty. However, within 40 minutes that whole section was packed.I started off with a glass of Lux Ice Wine, but after my first sip, I decided to get the bottle instead (it was a celebration and I thought, why not). The bottle was served in a thick steel canister that kept my wine chilled for sure. If you like sweet wines, you should try the Ice wine. I had tasted it on a prior visit, and it became one of my favorites here. For food, I got the Red Wine Braised Short Ribs. The menu describes it as being served with Oven-Roasted Vegetables, Mary's Potatoes, Grainy Dijon Mustard Butter, and Crispy Onion Strings. I didn't ask how or what Mary's Potatoes were and didn't let mustard or onion strings stop me from eating this meal. I knew most of my plate was empty afterwards, so it must have been good. Our waiter was Gregory, and his service, attention, and pleasantness is another reason I would come back here (besides the food/drink). He provided excellent service.Visited December 2024"
"Absolutely loved it! Service was fast. The gentleman who made my roll put his own little twist on it and it was amazing! Definitely will be going back."
"Love they they are back in Bethesda! We enjoyed the White Wine & Mediterranean Mussels with an order of the yummy truffle fries."
"Everything was amazing! Hot crabs & seasoned fries were just the bomb diggety. Always the best attitude wait staff ever. The atmosphere is so sports oriented with a bunch of T.V.'s. I love everything about this place. I was going to Captain Pells when they were a mere carryout in Merriefield."
"Great happy hour and a short walk from the Marriott ! Where do I begin? Oysters Rockefeller- amazing. Even my mom who doesn't like oyster enjoyed these. Shrimp tacos- went back for seconds. Mussels- plenty of bread provided to sop up the sauce! Entree sizes were perfect for this heavy seafood focused restaurant."
"Probably the best Italian food I've ever had (granted I've never been to Italy)- such a sweet staff and amazing service, very quaint and authentic setting perfect for a group dinner or dates"
"I met my uncle up here for a late lunch. Not busy here at all but definitely a number of people dining in. I've heard of Firebirds but had never been before. Our server told us she was new but she did a great job explaining the menu.We had bread to start. Not the best but it did the job. It was a bit too crispy so it was kinda messy to eat. For food, I ordered a burger with tots while my uncle got fish and shrimp with a side of fries. My uncle comes here all the time so he loves the food here! I thought my burger was decent. Nothing special but I had been craving a burger for the past few weeks. The tots were great! Crunchy and well seasoned. I'd come back just for that!Overall, it was a great time. I like the vibe of the restaurant. Staff was really nice and personable. Lots of parking here too! It's in a newer area they built within the past few years. Love it here!"
"My wife and I came here for Winter Restaurant Week and we had a great time! We had a full 3-course meal: Apps (Caesar Salad & She Crab Soup), Entrée (Salmon Oscar), and Dessert (Basque Style Cheesecake). You can't go wrong with Caesas Salad, but it was okay. Nothing special. My wife enjoyed the crab soup but the sherry took away from the experience. It wasn't bad though. The Entrées were BANGIN!!!! So gooooddd... the salmon, postatoes, and grilled asparagus - was "LIKE THAT!" It was so good, we were apalled. The entree alone sealed the deal for us. We WILL be coming back.Customer Service was so personable, and the waiters were "ON IT!" Super attentive; 10 out of 10.We weren't fans of the cheesecake. Just not what we were used to (i.e. New York Style) but it wasn't "the worst," or bad. It was decent. All in all-- We're gonna have to come back and try some other dishes."
"My last visit to Ruby's was disappointing at best. Sinha really the same food in the new building? Oh and no Mac and Cheese..."all out"...how does that happen. I guess the rent for the new place has limited the ingredients. And for the price I'll stay away...for now.BTW this isn't a knock on the service or the people. They are still good the food just isn't as good as it used to be."
"Definitely some of the best, if not the best, Italian in Fairfax!! Great place for rare dishes, many specials and a great bar!!This restaurant works for a date night or a family dinner - the staff is great and the space is always busy!! You'll love it!!"
"We came here on vacation from Florida to DC and checked out Washington's Mt. Vernon Estate and then had dinner here right after. It was really cool. The atmosphere was great, loved the colonial feel of this place and very quick service. We had the Jamabalya and Pot Pie and they were both delectable. Very good food and service! Cute place to go to right after the trip to the estate"
"TIP: Ask for the crazy crab mixin special sauce on the side. You can dip your seafood into this sauce!Without the tip above, the food is only a 3.5/5 for me, but the sauce on the side to dip it in really elevates the seafood. All the seafood here is pretty decent, but I recommend the shrimp, snow crabs, and green mussels. Also get the oysters if you're into oysters! The raw oysters are pretty good here for AYCEThe total was a bit pricy for AYCE for two people so come ready to eat a lot if you're doing AYCE. Our total was around $130 for two people (before tip)."
"Was out in VA today for a family sporting event and decided to try this restaurant for dinner.1st and foremost, customer service was A1! So that was an immediate plus. Everyone we came in contact with was very pleasant. Next the food was also top tier. I had the salmon with potatoes and broccolini. My son had the cheeseburger with fries. My mom had the crab cake with coleslaw and fries, I will say the crab cake was on the smaller side but it was enough for my mother. My dad had the half rack of ribs with coleslaw and fries. Everyone gave a 10/10 including the drinks (margarita, daiquiri and expresso martini). Definitely a nice meal to end my long day. There is plenty of parking. Ambiance is nice, can be for a nice date night meal, family, or happy hour. They do bring out bread with butter before your meal, definitely a nice perk and TASTY! They do have happy hour everyday and NFL Sunday happy hour 1-7 during football season. Kids menu has enough options even for a picky eater (example; Mac n cheese, hamburger, chicken tenders)Definitely recommend if you're in the area!"
"Tons of choices for sushi- very creative and varied. The food was absolutely delicious! We got the sweet potato roll and Amigos roll plus appetizers and devoured everything! The green tea ice cream was of great quality and perfectly capped off our lunch on this hot day!"
"Honestly, I was a little nervous about trying out Gordon Ramsay's Fish & Chips with all its mixed reviews, but we had a delicious experience!Located at The Wharf, the menu offers chips, combos, shakes, and even beer & wine. We ordered:+the Gordon's Combo - this came with 1 piece of Crispy Cod, 1 piece of Crispy Chicken, and 3 pieces of Crispy Shrimp, served with a side of sea salt chips and a choice of 2 sauces+the Fish & Shrimp Combo - this came with 2 pieces of Crispy Cod and 3 pieces of Crispy Shrimp, with a side of sea salt chips and a choice of 2 sauces+and, a Crafted LemonadeThe batter was amazing - the cod was so delicate, flakey, and super yummy, and great with the sauces; shrimp was just okay, and I wasn't a fan of the chicken.Sauce choices include: Gordon's Tartar, Curry & Mango, Sriracha Aioli, Southwest Ranch, Dijon Mayonnaise, and Cocktail. In terms of the sauces, I did like the Dijon Mayonnaise the best; the Southwest Ranch was not my favorite. And, that lemonade? Super refreshing and quite delicious! And, did you know that it's free refills?! Unbelievable! There's plenty of seating inside, and, I believe they have some tables outdoors? I couldn't really see, since we came in the evening.Staff were pretty kind and friendly!Definitely a great option if you're in the area!+Crafted Lemonade!+delicious Crispy Cod!+Dijon Mayonnaise+friendly service+metered, garage, and limited street parking in the area"
"Quick. Attentive. Polite. Accommodating. Clean. Delicious. Off the top of my head these words come to mind. I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Listen to this tho...get the steak tacos. I stole one from some else plate and whooooo it was so flavorful. Hope you enjoy."
"Wow. Never knew this was here! Great little atmosphere, very small/quaint. It says on the door Reservations Required. We showed up without reservations (just party of 2), but early at like 530. The host was very nice/accommodating, and gave us a decent 2 top. Didn't know what we had in store! Food was fantastic. They brought out bruschetta as a free appetizer (complimentary as we were first time visitors). So amazing. Also ordered Calamari Fritti. Again, very well prepared. For dinner, I got chicken parm. One of the best chicken parm's I've had in the area. My wife got Pescatore, and for some reason she stopped talking for a bit ;-). The focaccia was phenomenal as well, and our host/waiter made sure we were getting everything down. OY, my Chianti was great too.We did disappoint him by not ordering dessert. My wife said she ate so much bread. He replied "but dear, bread is not cake". Point taken, and we'll try harder next time!Overall, amazing, and we're definitely going back soon (next time making sure we have a reservation)!"
"I have a weakness for Crab Cakes, sometimes I order them as an appetizer (for sharing) or as an entree. If they are on the menu, 99.9% of the time, I will order them. Maryland is known for their fresh and tasty Crab Cakes, I was not going to miss out. The Blue Dolphin exceeded my expectations. Our group ordered a variety of dishes, from seafood to chicken and ribs. The portions were huge, the service was quick and our Server, Jennifer, was the best! Even though it was a busy Friday night, she was very attentive and so friendly. The Crabs Cakes come as a platter with two side dishes, I chose sautéed potatoes and spinach with Remoulade sauce. Most places offer tartar or cocktail sauce. If they have remoulade, you know you're having the real deal!! The Crab cake was a solid mound of Crab meat, not a lot of bread crumbs or filler. I tried my best to finish, I even took a break and still could not finish this delicious meal. One Crab cake at this fine establishment was bigger than other restaurants that serve two the size of a hamburger pattie. It may be a couple of years before I travel to Maryland, but when arrive at Blue Dolphin again, I won't forget to tell 'em Rosemary sent me!!!"
