We came in a little after 8 pm. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, and think it would be perfect for a date night or friends night out. I loved the margarita, but wish I would have gotten another entree other than the chicken.I think that the restaurant has a lot of potential."

"Best pizza in the DMV with genuine, family-owned quality cooking and customer service. This is my literal happy place.I haven't had bolognese this perfect since Botanero closed down. Their entire menu is incredible. We're talking about melt in your mouth but stringy mozzarella and piping hot food - even with delivery!!! Freddy and his crew of gentlemen were so incredibly hospitable and sweet that not only did they accommodate a special order so I can evangelize the store to friends but they didn't even allow me to carry as a much of a single cannoli by myself. You can truly tell that they take pride in their service and quality.Don't cheat yourself out of one of the best meals ever and try their four-cheese pizza, bolognese, and lasagna."

"As a 7yr native of H St, I'm always excited when I see a new pizza spot open. There are so few of quality nearby. It was here that I had my first jumbo slice. I've always heard of it but had no idea how JUMBO, a jumbo slice was. It was easily as big as my head. And it was also a solid slice and reminded me of some of my favorite slices I had when I lived in NYC. I decided to try a regular pie to see if it was as just as good. It was! They have a ton of specialty pies, but we're a classic pepperoni family. While I thought $14.99 was a little pricey for a 14" pie (I'm cheap when it comes to ordering delivering pizza), it was worth the price. We loved it so much, I ordered a ton for a birthday party that weekend."

"Came here for an event and everyone was so friendly! The staff were super helpful and asked us what we normally drink and have great recommendations. They explained the cocktails and had suggestions without us needing to look at the menu. We were indoors because it was freezing outside, but I know the patio can be lovely in the nicer times. The inside is cute and decorated well, you feel welcome here and get a good view. Plenty of tables, tall bar tables, and a bar to sit at if you want to chat with the staffThe kitchen cranks out food so quickly. The pizza seemed to be Detroit style so be ready. The fries you can't go wrong with. Skinny and perfectly fried. The pickles are chips not wedges and a good breading to pickle ratio even if prefer wedges. Make sure to get the dips too, they balance out the wine so well. I got a dry sparking champagne and it was actually dry. Too many times places try to pass a Prosecco or cava and it is too sweet. This one was exactly what I was looking for. I would expect nothing less than the people from Maxwell for a fantastic bar."

"This was my first experience here at Barcode. I did not know but there is a $10 cover charge just to enter the building to have brunch which was $48 and the $10 did not go toward your meal. With brunch you get 2 mimosas or 2 sangrias. I chose the sangria option which tasted like juice. There is an option to buy wine by the glass. No cocktails were available on the menu but there was a bar. The food was good, I had the shrimp and grits. They also had a waffle and pasta station which came with brunch. I was able to choose ingredients to put in my pasta (chicken and spinach was my choice) and the waffle had powdered sugar and some chocolate or caramel syrup as toppings options. The place was nice, clean, and the ambiance was good. Music is pretty loud so don't count on having conversation without screaming. All in all brunch was a good vibe."

"I'm always on the lookout for exceptional pizzas, so when a colleague suggested we visit Pizzeria Da Marco together, I looked it up on Yelp, saw that they serve Neapolitan pies and have rating averaging 4 stars with almost four hundred reviews, and gave him a enthusiastic yes!We arrived and found that the venue is inviting and warm, with a Neapolitan Pizza Oven that dominates the entrance, and some amazing pizza smells permeating the air.The hostess seated us, gave us menus and told us she was going to be our server as well.  Throughout the meal she took excellent care of us, seeing to it our water glasses never emptied, and offering us drink refills as needed.Tip: They have an extensive wine list here, as well as a good selection of bottled beers and beers on tap to choose from.When our drinks came we studied the menu, and decided to try two of their specialty pizzas.  The Ruchetta (cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, arugula, prosciutto & shaved Parmesan) and the Pizza of the Day (pepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan and basil).  Neapolitan pizza crusts are thin, so our pies came out quickly.  We dug in, and they were outstanding!  The toppings were all fresh and obviously premium quality, the crust has a great chew and just the right amount of char, and the seasonings and the toppings blended together perfectly for an outstanding flavor profile - we were in pizza Heaven!To cap off our meal, with finished up with one of their house-made desserts - an delightfully generous and tasty portion of gelato.  The prices were surprisingly reasonable given the excellent quality of the food - I look forward to returning to enjoy more of their delcious pizza and pasta :-)"

"This place is AWESOME. I went with a group of seven last weekend, and we were all smitten. Pizza + Rotisserie Chicken?! Vibe - The vibe is different - in the neatest way. A couple of us commented that it felt like we were in a different city - NYC, Phila, maybe? I loved the music. It was fun, 80's-ish, and pop-y.Food - Yum! The three bonafide foodies in the group were stoked. They admired the kitchen equipment (pizza stove, etc.), which is apparently exceptionally high quality. The true carnivore of the set was delighted by the chicken. Everyone enjoyed the yuca fries. The pizza was the big hit -  delicious with a magical crust and lots of cool topics. "Stopped by the Potomac Grocer while in the area for an appointment today. Surprisingly of all the food spots in the area, this was one of the highest Yelp ratings. Looking at the reviews, I saw that the place offered take-home meals as well as a deli. Apparently people loved the chipotle chicken salad sandwich, so I decided that was going to be the thing to try.I wasn't super blown away, I found the chicken to be a bit dry and bland. But I will say man did they PACK that sandwich with chicken! I mean they did not skimp! I also saw one review that mentioned getting it on a baguette so I did, although personally I found the bread to be a bit hard. BTW the chipotle is SPICY! But I do have a low spice tolerance so take that with a grain of salt. They had another option for the chicken salad which was the tarragon, as well as lots of other deli sandwiches. I was curious to try the soup of the day, potato leek soup, but decided not to get it. They had a variety of packaged soups and salads along the refrigerator. It seemed like a pretty popular place on a Sunday afternoon, so while I didn't love the chicken salad sandwich personally, maybe they have some other yummy options."

Chinatown metro is a block away.The pub serves sandwiches, fries and burgers. It was reworked after the previous restaurant closed. This is a perfect spot to visit before or after seeing a movie. There is no seating out inside only seating outside if you want pasta, you can only eat it inside but I guess you have to spend $25 and eat it standing up. There's a wine beer insider and you think the price on the bottle is how much it cost, but if you want to eat, drink the wine at the location they charge you an extra $15 I bought a $20 bottle of cider and ended up spending $35 for it then they go cheaper than going to a bar really? The pizza was very tasty and I like the flavor combinations, and the salad was lovely. I think both of them were worth every cent. There was a long line outside for people wanting to get ice cream. I asked some people how long they had been standing in line and they were not sure they close at 8:30 on the weekends. It seems I'm just not sure why this place is so popular."
