"SO DAMN GOOOOOD. service is so fast that even if there's a long line, you'll get your food within 5 minutes. food itself is always top tier and for the price, you really are getting the best bang for your buck. i just wish i lived closer so i can come more often"
"This place never disappoints with their Peruvian flame broiled chicken. You can call and order ahead, which most people tend to do, or dine in and explore their FULL menu, which is loaded with Peruvian and other Latino dishes. Staff is very polite, service is very timely. You'll leave feeling full and satisfied!!"

"I've passed this spot many times and always think I need to give it a try. I'm a sucker for good Peruvian chicken. Don't know what it is, but when it's done right and the sides are equally tasty it just makes for a great food experience.Su Pollo nailed this one. I ordered the quarter chicken white meat with a side of rice and beans. It comes with a side salad, which this was the only thing that was slightly underwhelming. I know not to expect much from the little side salad, so wasn't a big deal for me. After all, the star of the meal needs to be the chicken. In addition to the chicken, I ordered a small chicken soup. This meal did not disappoint at all. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with all the yummy Peruvian spices (whatever those might be). Lol. The white meat was nice and juicy, which white meat can be dry sometimes. I'm tempted to try the dark meat next time. I bet that's amazing too. The side of rice and beans (yellow rice/black beans) paired perfectly with the chicken. My one warning...the green sauce is SPICY!! I only eat the green sauce with my chicken, and have had a wide variety of green sauces. If the green sauce isn't good, it takes away from the experience. This green sauce was on point. Just had to use it sparingly. I recently got into the chicken soup. I've ordered it from other Peruvian restaurants and have some really good ones. Su Pollo nailed this one as well. If you haven't tried the chicken soup it is a must try. It's perfect on a cold day. The soup is filled with chunks of chicken in a savory broth. Squeeze a little lime and add some green sauce and you have yourself a delicious soup. My only gripe with Su Pollo is the location. It was a little tricky to get into their parking lot and the parking is limited. However this won't keep me from returning for more delicious food!!"
"Review for delivery only. There are several Peruvian chicken places in the area and most are mediocre to pretty good. Super Pollo is probably the best I've had of all of them. I had to 1/4 chicken white meat and it was a lots of perfectly spiced chicken that was fully cooked without being dried out. It was so perfect on its own I didn't need to use any sauce. The plantains were just right, sweet without being too sweet and they were hot and fresh without being dried out. The rice was enjoyable as well, hot and fresh with a few vegetables for some extra flavor. They don't skimp on the food here and even though I was hungry after a day of yard work, I still barely finished my meal.Delivery was fast and my food came hot and fresh. This place is at the top of my list for Peruvian chicken."
"I had never heard of this place. I was doing errands nearby and visited for the first time, and I rate it five stars for their absolutely fantastic quality food! There was no wait in line. The service was friendly and upbeat. You order Chipotle style, picking your main and sides and then pay at the end. I ordered white meat (chicken breast) and two sides; mac and cheese and yucca, and all were incredibly fresh and tasty. The chicken was on the bone and piping hot. The green and white sauces significantly enhanced the flavor of the chicken. There is plenty of single window seats and tables. The interior including the restroom was clean and well lit. I would definitely come back if I were in the area."
"We came here for a group dinner last Wednesday. The restaurant was partly filled around 6pm. It was my first time trying Peruvian food so I was excited. I was not familiar with many of the options on the menu. The staff was very helpful with providing great advice. We started with a round of drinks. The Chicha Rum was delicious. The Latin Ice was bitter and did not have much flavor. The Inca Kolada was very strong and had an interesting mix. The rest of our group decided to stick with beers. For food I decided to try the Peruvian Sushi. I ordered the Acevichado Roll and the Tumi Roll. They were the top favorites on the menu. The presentation for the sushi was awesome. They were very similar but had very distinct tastes. They were packed with fried shrimp and topped with cream cheese and avocado. I ordered two rolls of five pieces each and it was enough to fill me up for dinner. For dessert we ordered the Sweet Sampler. This gave us a variety of items to try instead of ordering one piece of cake. It came with alfajores, churros, tres leches, suspiro, and flan. I love flan and tres leches so those were amazing. It was my first time trying alfajores and churros. They were very sweet and delicious. You can't go wrong with any of the options. Inca Social was a cool place to try. If I am in the mood for Peruvian food I will stop by here again."
"I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. They serve great Peruvian food. My family loves it. We celebrated my father's birthday here and had a great time. Our server Emely was great and really nice. She took great care of all of us. We love the lomo and aji. Everything great especially the ceviche"
"Got a quick take out order while visiting the area for a couple people. Got one of the family combos that come with a whole chicken and a couple sides. The chicken itself was flavorful and moist, really hit the spot. There were no complaints. Never had what I think is a traditional "green beans with egg", so ordered that as a side. Definitely different but very flavorful.Service was easy and friendly. I did not wait too long for a big order. Inside was very busy with happy customers. 100% recommend"
"This place is phenomenal! I am an out of town guest, visiting a college friend who speaks really highly about this place. I usually am extra skeptical when somebody speaks too highly of a restaurant. This place lived up the hype. The restaurant was super accommodating to every request we had. To start the service was amazing-- quick, attentive and knowledgeable. They knew what I could and couldn't eat with my shrimp allergy. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would def recommend the sushi (mangos and plantains ). I will say the restaurant is very lively -- especially since Copa America was on tv. It was a little difficult to hear especially with my friends mom. Overall, I would gladly eat here again! Amazing job!!"
"Overall: 4.5 starsI recommend this restaurant for individuals who like ceviche and Peruvian food. Great date night spot - pretty interior, good service, and better food. 2nd time eating here (once for brunch and once for dinner), and enjoyed both experiences. I plan on coming back here to try other food items.Food Quality: 4.5 starsOrdered the Ceviche Sampler, Yuca A La Huancaina, Arroz Con Mariscos, and Salmon Con Curry & Coco. Enjoyed all the dishes but LOVED the Salmon Con Curry & Coco and would highly recommend ordering this dish. Salmon was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful with a spicy kick. I would recommend the other dishes as well but just order the Salmon Con Curry & Coco. Service/Experience: 5 starsVery pretty interior and great spot for a date night. Plenty of seating on the inside to accommodate for small or large groups. May need to set reservations (definitely during the busier times - nights, weekends). Very welcoming staff and explained all the dishes we had questions on. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Parking can sometimes be a pain (Reston Town Center parking - parallel parking or in the parking garage)."
"loved the chickens! but it tends to dry if you get them at the end of the day. so be sure you get it right before lunch hour or right before dinner hour."
"The good was sooo good and it all started with great service , although they charge gratuity themselves to bill I still enjoyed the food and service. Personally I don't think these businesses should be able to put an automatic tip on the bill, so please research your place of eat before going out. With prices so high on everything it's hard to support your small businesses and it's gonna get harder too."

Great place for quick, hot and fresh proven. All of the sides are delicious. We really enjoy the chicken and the salad with lots of dressing. The plantains aren't delightful. The black beans are tasty. All in all it is a great place to grab some quick food or to bring home a family dinner.

Peruvian restaurant recommended by a friend; we decided to give it a try. Ample seating inside and outside. The service was attentive and pleasant, the atmosphere was casual and the food was great. We ordered: 3*DE CASA SALAD WITH GRILLED CHICKEN-Mixed greens tossed with chicken, carrots, tomatoes, onion. cucumber, and chickpeas: per normal. 4*PESCADO A LO MACHO included filet fish and mixed seafood, topped with a cream sauce of aji amarillo (yello chili) Cilantro, wine, and heavy cream. The portion was big and perfect for sharing. The cream sauce was delicious. 5*Whole chicken: juicy, tender and tasty, everyone loved it. 4*Ceviche tasting: three bowls of different seafood ceviches with different sauces. It came with corns and sweet potatoes. All were pretty fresh and good. 4*STEAK ANTICUCHOS--Steak skewer marinated in house antichuchos sauce and served with side dish of green beans and fries. Steak skewers were cooked well. The meat was tender and tasty. 5*Fried Yucca: I loved the texture. Way better than fries. Portion was generous. 4* Fried Plantains: per normal.

If you know you know - otherwise let me tell you. Su Pollo is my top destination for Peruvian chicken in northern Virginia. Their food is fresh, flavorful, and quick service gets guests their plates very quickly. The high heat of the charcoal cooking style along with attentive traditional seasoning leads to a bold chicken flavor present throughout the skin and meat. A no frills, simple ambiance invites you to get right to business and enjoying your food. A pro tip when ordering chicken dishes is you can sub salad for other offered sides at no charge.

Amazing Peruvian Chicken within the BALLSTON Arlington neighborhood. Calling all chicken lovers. LolDelicious moist chicken that's roasted in the restaurant Peruvian rotisserie (charcoal) with a beautiful spice rub and seasoning. Typically get a whole chicken. Scrumptious!! It comes with two types of sauce: green (hot) and yellow mayo-based (medium). The sauces kick it up a notch. Service is real fast, even for the lunch rush. Hot and fresh chicken. Line moves quick. Ambiance includes outdoor and indoor tables. The sides are on point, as well. Spinach. In addition to plantains. Deeelish!! There are a couple of Super Pollos around VA. This one is awesome. Support this Small Business. Pro Tip: free parking in the back (no need for street parking and meters). It's hidden. Haha

This place was AMAZING! It's hard to find a place where the peruvian chicken hits right and this place def did! The service was great and it felt like a Chiptole type of service, but the Peruvian way. I randomly found this place as I was out of luck with other Peruvian resturants in other locations, but I was so happy to see a Peruvian restaurant close to my hotel. It was a walk away and there were lots of seating. The chicken was delicious and enojoyed the variety of sides like brussel sprouts, fries, and more. Def recommend this place and its really close to Georgetown Law School.

Here's my thing about this place: they have great food. Here's my other thing: it's very specifically Incan type fusion. So if you're into that kind of food, you'll be in heaven. On the one hand, the ceviche has some of the best portioned fish I've ever had, and the flavors are great. However on some occasions I felt that the ceviche was almost too thickly cut, and the sauce too heavy. Still great, more just not my cup of tea at all times. They do have some interesting fusion dishes, like their take on sushi rolls. One of the better things I find I like is the seafood in general: the seafood platters with the mussels, shrimp, fish, and calamari had that delightful seafood taste you want in a fresh seafood dish. Bottom line: You might love it, and even if you don't, you'll leave it saying it was good food, but just not your taste preference. Bonus: They have a happy hour menu with food + drinks from M-F until 6, so that's always a plus. Their drinks are notably strong. Ceviche is very large and thickly cut, which is great for sharing.

This place is a family favorite. The service is always attentive and timely. The food is fresh and flavorful. I do wish they had more options for children. The portions are large enough that you leave feeling stuffed. The interior is decorated as Spanish colonial. Highly recommend.

You know what time it is?? It's dinner time! Drum roll pleassseee... I found a gem! Cocorico is a family owned restaurant that serves halal meat/chicken and have done it for number of years! We ordered number of items for a takeout dinner : Half chicken with 2 sides (fries/yuca), Carne Asada Coleslaw Side Mashed Potatoes Side, Tamal , Pupusas (2 Pc) Chicken & Cheese, Tiramisu , Tres Leches, and flan. Everything was prepared fresh, and TO THE PERFECTION! My mouth is still watering for some more of the chicken with yellow sauce. I am coming back for sure! If you love your chicken and enjoy a place that doesn't compromise on flavor, than YOU MUST TRY COCORICO.

"Let's just dive in...Pros:- DELICIOUS FOOD- I've have the chicken, yuca, white rice, black beans, plantains, and yuquita balls. The chicken is juicy and seasoned so well, grocery stores try their best with rotisseries chicken and as good as it is, it just doesn't compare. The yuca was perfectly crisp even though they were larger. Usually I don't even order yuca, because restaurants never make them crispy enough. The black beans were super flavorful, I could eat them all day. The plantains are perfectly sweet. The show stopper is the yuquita balls, mashed yuca stuffed with cheese (maybe Oaxacan or mozzarella), then battered (I believe) and fried. Whew! Just amazing and it comes with an aioli that's not spicy but slightly sweet and it's just TOO GOOD!- They sell frozen treats as well.- There are 3 diff sauces: white, red, and green. All of them are good. I'm not sure if the red sauce is supposed to be spicy, but it's not spicy to me at all. The green sauce has an acidic base which is a good compliment to the flavorful meal especially if you get any of the fried items. Cons:- small eating area inside, but that's to be expected of a Peruvian chicken place. Get your food and go home to enjoy it so you can eat messy and be free! Suggestions:- Order food for your next work event from here with their catering options, you will not be disappointed at all and your team will love you.- There's a Kingstowne location as well, visit them if it's closer."
"So my need for Peruvian chicken has returned big time. I have been shopping at the mostly empty Safeway nearby. And so I've been stopping at this Super Pollo rather than Quincy St for takeout. During the epidemic I just want to shop at places where I'm in and out and home in a hot minute. This fits the bill. The chicken is excellent. And I love both locations for spinach. They aren't exactly the same, they both have potatoes in it, but this location has more tomatoes, which is pretty yummy, so are yucca fries. This is a very inexpensive, very fast solution to dinner. If you haven't had Peruvian chicken haul yourself to a super pollo location. Especially if you're a person who likes well-seasoned food, that rotisserie chicken in the grocery store is just light on flavor. Half a chicken and two sides will cost you about $11 and you'll have leftovers."
"I've eaten at the chicken palace. Several times the food is fast and excellent. I generally get the filet mignon, chicken, rice, and salad. It's a great value, and the food is excellent."
"A quick visit into town and saw this spot and vowed to try it before leaving. I tried the carna asada and the ribs and chicken combo.. if I would have known how amazing that chicken was going to taste I would have left everything else behind. 10/10 for the chicken.Service was quick and everyone in the establishment was super nice!"
"So good!! Place was hopping!! Placed an order via their website. Food was ready when we got there. Chicken was great, lots of great sides. Only down side was my daughter ordered the LOMO SALTADO which comes with steak fries and rice. At first we thought the fries were missing but they were buried under the steak and vegetables causing them to be soaked and soggy with meat juice. Other than that it was a great experience!"
"I love Peruvian brothers! They have a stand by Union market. I like taking selfies with the fake "mascot" Llamas. Sometimes real ones stop by. The food is delicious."
"This was catered for my work. This was delicious. The flavors were powerful and rich. The Lomo Saltado, now that was a dish for the ages. The rolls, funnily enough, might be the best I have ever had of breads. I've never been to Peru, but if the food tastes like this, I've got to book a flight!"
"Our family loves Peruvian chicken. It is a favorite of our whole family. My son was picking up Poyoteca for the two of us. I wasn't feeling well and he was so sweet to bring dinner over. Sorry, I just was not a fan. The chicken tasted spicy to me. I don't know if someone heavy handed the turmeric, but it did not taste good. Now, people who like the spice, may enjoy this chicken. The yucca were very good. They were hot and crispy. We also ordered the rice and beans. They were fine. My son picked up the food and the service was good. It didn't take long for the order to be ready. The ambiance is clean and attractive. My son really enjoyed his meal. I just think that we are lucky enough to be in an area with lots of Peruvian chicken restaurants. This one was not a favorite of mine."
"Updating my review since I haven't written one in over a decade. This place is still solid. Still the same small local spot, still huge portions. I look at the one star reviews and am sad because this place is pretty good. The chupe de camarones is supposed to be a chowder/soup... So I'm kind of laughing at the one star review that says it came out soupy.... That's literally what the dish is supposed to be. Normally it is a bit thicker and more on the chowder side, but I think the flavor makes up for the wateryness. It's so large that I couldn't finish and the to go container was like the size of a sherbet bucket. The tamale was really good and the chicharrón wasn't overcooked. I don't like it when it's too dry and too fried and this was pretty good. My spouse got the leche de tigre which he liked, but I really liked the cancha (fried corn kernels) that it came with -- they do a really good job with them. Crispy, not too dry, nice and salty.Overall I'm glad this place is still here. I think the local Peruvians know it's a solid spot so it's still standing... Don't let these picky reviewers keep you from trying some authentic no-frills Peruvian cuisine! If you're a patient but true foodie you won't be disappointed."
"Pros: Some very delicious Peruvian dishes, including their specials like their bistek, lomo saltado, ropa viejaNeutral: small, family-owned. Menu, not particularly impressive. Ambience includes mural of the old country (Peru).Cons: no fresh chicha morada. Compared to the likes of Picca pollo a la brasa, this place is small cakes."
"I am so excited I found this place. Quick and convenient location for a yummy latin fix. I ordered rice and beans, fried pork and plantains. The pork and plantains were fried at the moment so it took a few minutes to get my order but oh so worth it. Good amount of food for great price. While waiting I was looking at the rest of the items on the menu and will definitely go back to try some other dishes. The staff was friendly, personable and worked as a team. There were a few people waiting for some freshly roasted chickens to come out of the rotating grill. As soon as that happened all orders were expedited quickly and with a smile."
"After running around at Family Place to Play, we were searching for a restaurant that would accommodate our entire clan of 3 families with a total of 13 people (6 adults and 7 kids) on a Friday night in Waldorf. You're probably like Good Luck! Asados Grill (AG) came up in the search results on Yelp and my brother-in-law suggested we go to AG because he had been there before and liked it. He also felt that it was probably the best type of restaurant for our party. It turned out to be one of the best meals I had in Southern Maryland during my visit! - Parking - Private lot. - Vibe -At AG, you order at the counter, pay, sit down and bus your own table. It's bright with a simple decor and clean. It's very casual which was the perfect dining spot for our little circus! - TLC -The gentleman who was taking our order was such a nice man who took the time to answer all my questions and make recommendations when needed. He was very helpful and patient at every turn, when I went up to the counter multiple times to get random things. You can imagine how needy a party of 13 can be. The ladies who worked there were also very sweet. - Eats/Refreshments -Maranoñes (Cashew fruit) juice - This is juice from the fruit of a cashew tree. It is cloudy and light yellow in color. It was very different and I don't really know how to describe it or what to compare it to, but I loved it! Look up the fruit. It almost looks like a persimmon. Pupusa (pork and cheese) - My husband and I were curious about the pupusa and we went with the pork and cheese upon the man's recommendation. It's like a quesadilla made out of corn tortillas, stuffed with shredded pork and cheese, but there are no open edges. The seams are closed shut. It's almost like they stuffed it in a corn dough and then flattened it like a pancake. It is served with their version of a coleslaw and a salsa-like sauce. It was delicious. It would make a great kids meal too and super inexpensive. Pescado Frito (Whole Fried Tilapia) - I love tilapia, well, fish in general, but I was torn between the tilapia and the Lomo Saltado. When I told the man my dilemma, he said he had some nice and big tilapias that day and I was like SOLD! Warning: the fish is served whole, head and all. It was seasoned with their magical seasoning and they placed a few pieces of vegetables inside the fish and then it is deep fried. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was cooked perfectly! It is served with rice, beans, salad (iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, avocado), choice of flour or corn tortillas and a grilled jalapeño (holy, it was spicy) which had a real nice char on it! It was so much food and at such a great price! Burrito (beef and chicken) - My husband ordered this and said it was good. I was too busy with my own plate that I forgot to taste his. It was a generous portion and he had enough for the next day.- Kiddos -They have a kids menu with the standard stuff, but most of the items are battered and deep fried. Both my kids chose the Chicken nuggets and one had a side of rice while the other had their fries which were big, chunky potato pieces rather than the regular fry cut. No complaints from the kiddos. They offer quite a variety of menu items and there seems to be something for everyone. Our group ordered a variety of things like tacos, asada salad, Burrito and we all left with a full belly without the pressure of fine dining with little kids!"
"5+++ stars for the flan alone! The best flan I've ever had. So good.We ordered several Columbian style (fried) cheese empanadas. I must be familiar with another style of empanada - not fried, but although these weren't remotely healthy, they were delicious. Like giant mozzarella sticks. We also ordered shrimp saltena. So. Good. We'll definitely order from here again. The last item we ordered was cuarto leches. It was tasty, but everything paled in comparison to the flan."
"My sister took me here to get me cultured to some Peruvian food and omg I was taken away by how delicious everything was. The people working here were welcoming and kind as well!We got the aji de gallina which is a rice dish with shredded chicken smothered in a creamy yummy sauce. The chicken was juicy and not dry at all! I tend to stay away from chicken dishes as they can either be a hit or miss and most the time it is a miss for me, but not here at Mi Peru!! It was definitely a hit that left a good impression on me. The pupusas were also delicious as we got the pork and cheese filling one. I like to add the cabbage on top to add a little bit of flavor to it, and of course they do have some house special sauces to add as an option!I will be back to try other items on the menu."
"I have always seen this place but never thought to try it. Had a craving for some lomo saltado, they had it on the menu, so why not. Ordered two; one for me and one for the him. It takes ten minutes to make, so I went to grab something from the grocery store next door. It looked like it was a fairly nice potion for the price point, which is less than other restaurants. I noticed that there were smaller pieces of beef and not as many veggies. Also, the French fries were definitely of the frozen ore ida variety. All in all it was okay in a pinch, I didn't mind it. The rice had a great flavor, the beef had a nice flavor too, but needed to be cooked more. The fries were an afterthought. I wish they put in more veggies. The hubs said it was a no go for him...Can't say that I'd come back for this dish."
"Had the chicken, green soup, chicken soup, and fried rice with beef. Everything was delicious! Easy to order on the phone. Would order again in the future!"
"Love the decor in here and the food is always amazing! I prefer picking up or eating at the restaurant than getting it delivered through one of the service apps. The food tastes more fresh and you get the good pieces! You can never go wrong getting the classics- 1/2 chicken dark meat, lomo and yuca for the side."
"Delicious food and friendly service. I highly recommend; beautiful ambiance too. The fish with red sauce was wonderful."
"Chicken + Whiskey, what a cute little gem nestled in Navy Yard. Not sure if this chain will last. The menu is limited and the food is just okay. It's good but not a place that one thinks, Yummers let's go to Chicken and Whiskey. There is just too much competition food wise in the area. Customer service is fantastic! I'll give them that. Ambiance is casual. Parking is a nightmare. Especially on game days. Overall, I'm not sure I'd return. Glad I did try!"
"The staff here are so kind and sweet! Yesterday was my first time trying the Rotisserie chicken! I ordered to go! Let me tell you the chicken here is so tasty and the flavor is so delicious! My favorite add on to the chicken is the green sauce! The sauce is a little spicy but the flavor is so tasty! The crispy warm churros were served with a side of vanilla ice cream such a satisfying dessert! The plantains were very good but a little oily. Try this place, you will love it!"
"I pass by this spot all the time and the smells finally won me over! The chicken is cooked to perfection! I got a 1/4 dark and it was some of the juiciest I've ever had. I thought it might be just because they had just opened up for the day but I went back the next day at a later time and the chicken was just as fresh. The yuca is delicious here and seems like they always have some fresh out of the fryer. The sauces are all tasty and I can't pick a favorite. This place is the real deal! I'll be back soon"
"There really is no shortage of Peruvian restaurants in the NOVA area, but as far as I'm concerned, Justa's Chicken is the lip smacking best!!!First off, they are open early on Sundays, which is appropriate since their chicken is tantamount to a religious experience. Loaded with all the right spices, it is a mouthwatering feast that is bound to satisfy the most discerning roasted chicken aficionado. There were a lot choices from which to choose in Justa's Chicken Heaven, but I opted for their batter dipped breast of chicken, a succulent slab of all things yum. And as if this delicious meal wasn't enough, Justa's Chicken's selection of traditional Peruvian sauces took my bird to the next level. (Trust me the creamy white sauce is the bomb!).Yup, hands down, this is the fried/roasted chicken that will wash away all of your culinary sins and restore your foodie soul."
"One street off the main drag and a few storefronts down is this underappreciated gem. Most everyone seems to come here to order the roast chicken. Personally, I was hoping for pollo saltado but they don't serve it and so I settled on the chicken and chorizo combination plate instead. This was one of those times when Plan B turned out even better! The chicken was good, tender, nicely seasoned, juicy...but the CHORIZO was the real star! If you know Mexican or even Portuguese style chorizo, you'll have to erase that from your thinking. This chorizo is made of seasoned ground pork (?) split lengthwise and grilled to perfection. It's much leaner and not cured. It was delicious! I'd return just for this dish."
