"The place is a bit tight, but clean. Parking is so-so at best. But the food and service are top notch. My family and I have tried several of the dishes here and have really liked them all.Reasonably priced also.Worth a visit."
"This is definitely a hidden gem for brunch. The restaurant is kind of in the cut so you have to enter on the side of the building. We had a 1230 reservation and there were no other customers there when we got there. Seemed pretty odd for a Saturday brunch but then again it's the holiday season, it was freezing outside and many people may not even know the spot exists. The food was good and the service was great. After about an hour and a half a few more people started rolling in, but in total there was still maybe 10 customers including us. The staff was very attentive and the food was very flavorful. Our least favorite items on the menu were the potato balls that looked like meatballs and the French toast. I probably should've known better than to order French toast, but I love French toast. But unfortunately they didn't get it right. But everything else was solid. If the service wasn't as good, I probably would've given them three stars, but I really enjoyed my time here. I would come back."

"Soooo goooooood! The naan was so fresh and fluffiest I ever had. I loved that it wasn't greasy. The chickpeas are really good, it was my favorite. I will definitely be back!"
"I feel like my standards for Indian food are high, but salt pepper definitely delivered!I tried the lamb vindaloo and have to say that the lamb was very good, the naan on point and sauce nicely made to order. I'm a huge fan of spicy and they really turned up the heat on my "extra spicy" request.I like the quality food in a shack kind of vibe, would definitely recommend!"
"The food here is great every time. Value for the money is excellent. For about $20 you get a large meal, bread and a smoothie! On the rare occasion that they made a mistake, they've fixed it and given we a freebie of some kind. Highly recommend."
"Five stars! We went on a Sunday evening, so we were able to enjoy the full buffet spread of specialties. We loved the haleem(!), beef paya, saag, okra, chickpea, and tandoori chicken. We also ordered the beef chapli kebab, and that was huge and delicious too. My favorite though was the beef paya since I love the richness of the collagen. The staff were super nice and helpful. I can't eat gluten or dairy, and they explained the ingredients in everything. It's a great restaurant, and I highly recommend. I also went with my Pakistani best friend, and she said it was authentic and delicious too!"
""you better give this place 5 stars!" - my friends after a buffet lunch today. We came based on my neighbor's recommendation, and he didn't steer us wrong! While the buffet is small (smallest I've ever been to), the quality is top notch. When we first walked in, there were only two other people. However, several people from all over (as far as an hour's drive) walked through the doors while we were dining to pick up food from here. THAT'S how good the food is. I actually loved that it was on the smaller side because I was able to try, and truly appreciate the flavor in, each individual dish, instead of forgetting what I had eaten halfway through the meal. Parking can be a bit of a nuisance at lunchtime on Saturdays since it shares a lot with the Dutch Market, but don't let that deter you."
"Stopped in here after a few drinks in Eastern Market. It was pretty empty, with tons of to go orders being placed. We opted for a few appetizers to go since it was our first time trying Aatish. Their naan bread was really tender and the tandoori chicken was juicy, I enjoyed the samosas as well, they were pretty packed! Would like to check it out when some more customers are in store and see what's popular here."
"I visit this spot at least once a month...sometimes more and I almost always order the goat karahi. It comes with salad and naan. I love the flavors in the dish. I took one star off because sometimes I get way too many bones. Every once in awhile I'll eat in but most of the time, I order it to go. The goat karahi is an order for 2 for about $30. I always order it just for me so I can have plenty of leftovers. The samosas are delicious too! You need to check this spot out!"

The food here is exceptional. It's so ridiculously flavorful. I hadn't been here in a while and was excited to see it's as good as I remembered. I got one of the daily specials--a lamb and spinach dish that comes with a bread, chickpea side, rice, and a salad. The salad was just iceberg lettuce and raw onion and wasn't very exciting. But everything else was so, so delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. The menu says cash only, but they do take credit with a 3% surcharge.

My recent visit to Delhi Dhaba was a treat! Right on a corner in court house, it was delicious with charming ambiance. The happy hour offer a selection of appetizers that comes with a beer of your choice. The samosas, served in a cute metal bike presentation, were a delightful start to our meal. I opted for the "Create Your Own Tiffin," which allowed me to sample two different chicken entrees and a vegetarian entree, stacked in cute metal stacking containers, all served with rice and naan. This option is perfect for solo diners like me who crave variety without having to order multiple entrees. The Chloe was simply delicious, although I did end up with leftovers to take home--it was worth every bite and I look forward to having it tomorrow for lunch. Delhi Dhaba has charming flower arch decor and colorful decorations scattered throughout the restaurant, making it engaging to look around. Service was quick and it was a nice quiet spot for a weeknight dinner. I can't wait to return and try more of their tempting menu offerings, like their pizza naan!

Tried out city kabob & curry house for takeout one night. We figured it'd be a good way to placate 2 people where 1 was craving Indian and another was craving kabobs. We've heard about this place before but it was our first opportunity to try it out.We did pick up, and the place was tucked in the back of a shopping plaza. Plenty of parking so easy for pick up. The inside was rather spacious but empty. Seems like they have an all you can eat buffet for lunch. There were also a handful of deals printed out on the wall.Overall the food was pretty good. They give a lot of protein. I kinda wished there was a little something else in the butter chicken but the sauce flavor was good. The chicken was a little dry. The combo plate was also pretty good. I think the chicken skewer was better than butter chicken. The naan was also big enough to cover a face. Overall not bad would probably go again if I was craving take out.

I've never dined in here, but it is a great option for reasonably priced Indian take out. Many great vegetarian options. I'm addicted to their Veggie Samosas. Their Dal is also delicious.

Look I've eaten a ton of authentic Pakistani food, both in Pakistan and in the UAE. I know Desi food well and am a tough critic. Owners are Pakistani and friendly. The food was just okay. The chanas were sweet and strange. The rice was nice and fluffy. Meat was okay. Wasn't a huge fan of the lamb or the dehi. Overall, it's a decent choice for the area.

I got the kebab platter with chicken, lamb and ground beef kebabs. Very generous amount of meats! A little dry, but that's better than undercooked. The bread that comes with it was really unique. Like a lighter/airy Naan with an almost crisp layer on some of the puffs. Delicious. Oh and the spinach/potato side was excellent.

Belly filling flavorfull quality eats!Found this place on yelp and was pleasantly suprised by tasty authentic offerings. Basically everything on the menu looks good and is freshly prepared while you wait. Went with combo, kabobs and Shrimp Pokora which came with rice and bean dish. Meal was satisfying and definitely recommended if youre in the area. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Plenty of selections in the buffet trays adjacent to the small informal resturant dining area provide visual while you wait. Prices seem average and be sure and check hours before visitng.

This is my go to Indian takeout place. The portions are very generous and tasty compared to similar places in the area. The service is prompt and friendly. I haven't eaten inside yet, but it appears quaint and upscale and is on an active street with lots of life.

"Over the last 6 years, I've frequented the original Ravi Kabob House for their amazing Ravi Special with extra chick peas. Only recently did I find myself here at Ravi Kabob House II. We came as a party of five, so we decided to share a couple of dishes - chicken karahi, mughaz karahi, lamb kabob, and an extra side of chick peas (some things never change). You get rice, naan, salad, and sauces as accompaniments. The food was all delicious, with my favorites being the chicken karahi and lamb kabob. You're guaranteed an authentic meal here that will satisfy your taste buds.Service was very friendly and helpful too. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely come back here again, especially for karahi dishes."
"Order Uber eats from here tonight. I knew I had ordered before but couldn't remember if it was good (because I forgot to post). My mistake! Everything was amazing and I feel like I've been missing out over the last year for not eating here.We got a few things to share and try. The chicken tikka masala was out of this world and my absolute favorite. The chicken korma was spicy and tasty but is bone in chicken. The samosas were tasty. We got the lamb kebab which was tasty but over cooked so not our favorite. The chat papri was fresh and flavorful.Overall we are very satisfied and can't wait to order again."
"This is the first family owned restaurant I have experienced in this area since I moved here in the middle of summer this year. The owners of the restaurant immediately greeted me with a smile and cordial attitude and were very professional. They recommended popular food items from their menu like the fresh made naan and butter chicken. The younger family members , Umair and Zubair, received orders and served the food while their parents cooked the food for customers. They answered all my questions and told me how they had just opened about seven months ago. I was very impressed with the family's work ethic and their passion for their restaurant and food. I selected an item I rarely see or eat, Goat Karahi. They mentioned that there were bones in the dish and asked what spice level I preferred. I requested medium. I can still sense the heat from the spice as I write this review, yet the spices in the dish were at my comfort level.I noticed that I could watch them cook my meal from the front desk- ideal in a restaurant.Goat is tricky to cook. Most people tend to over cook it yet this goat dish was cooked well and was enough to feed two people. I love the seasonings, sauce, and spices in this dish. It is on the higher quality priced end on the menu, yet it was the closest I have ever come to my favorite Indian food cooked fresh by my friend's mother. It came with a small serving of carrot pickles and raita. I love raita and wished I had ordered an extra serving for my to go meal. They provided me fresh naan to taste which was delicious. The basmati rice with saffron that came with my meal was the most excellent basmati rice I ever had.I have a myriad of past experiences with Indian food - from fresh home made Indian food at a friend's home by her mother from India to Five Star expensive Indian food at various luxurious hotels and restaurants in India for an extravagant wedding. Food Flame's tantalizing spicy food hits different than the typical Indian food you encounter in Indian restaurants. The food & service are more heartfelt and evokes a deep sense of nostalgia within me for the homemade Indian food cooked by my friend's mother. Can't wait to try more items on the menu and use the $5 and $10 coupons they have on their to go menus.I highly recommend this place for their delicious authentic Indian food , the superb customer service, and the family ambience. They do provide vegan & vegetarian options and offer exotic dishes I have never heard of or seen on an Indian restaurant menu which I will definitely order in the future. This place is a hidden gem and a go see for adventurous foodies or food lovers."
"Love this place and the people!! I came here as a referral from my good friend from Pakistan. He knows that I love chicken biryani, so he sent me. The first time I stopped by I was impressed with the food and the service, but the second time I realized this place is a gem. The chicken biryani is hot and full of flavor. The nan bread is fresh and crispy. On the way I order a second CB to take home for lunch the following day. They realize they are at the bottom of the pot and some chicken is a little burnt. They do not want to sell it to me. I tell them I was fine, because it would better than my wife's cooking. However in their generosity, they decide to not charge for the "to go" plate. I thought this was great and appreciate the jester. I would absolutely come here over and over again. Good people and good food!!"
"Love me some chicken & gyro over rice.Shawarma Hut hit me with that comfort food I know and love. I love mine drenched in sauce and they did not disappoint. What makes Shawarma Hut different from the others is that they make it Pakistani style so the meat and chicken has a bit more of a kick which I appreciated. My only criticism is that I wish they were located closer to me so I can get my hands on their food more often. You guys need to try their chicken & rice ASAP!!!!"
"Fresh naan and amazing kabobs! 10/10 my husband and I loved this restaurant. The service was great too!"
"They have an excellent lunch, or dinner, buffet. It's very inexpensive for what you get. It's a bit on the greasier side, but again, at the price point it's a steal. They also do takeout by the pound ($8.99/lb)."
"Ordered a lamb gyro wrap to go. The wait was less than 10 minutes and gave me a chance to admire the interior of this resturant which was amazing. Definately would be a nice dine in experience. My gyro wrap was quite large and flavorful, and reasonably priced. I also like the 2 side sauces tha came with it. Overall, I was pretty pleased with my experience."
"I went again and got the goat curry special and the Seekh kabob. It was delicious! The Seekh is very springy and well seasoned, which to me is an indicator of a good Seekh kabob. The goat curry was a very solid portion, with plenty of meat. It was also well seasoned and the flavors were on point. This is my new favorite spot in MoCo. My only complaint is that the way my food was packaged was not very well thought out lol. The goat curry was sitting atop of the kabob box in the bag. It spilled out a bunch of oil into the bag and subsequently my car. My only word of advice for the owners is to use a separate container to the curries, as they spill out of the side too easily in these containers. Services is still great as the person who took my order was very nice, repeated everything back to me and confirmed my totals."
"We have been here a couple times since they opened on the pike and we give it a 10/10!What I didn't realize and I don't think people do is they make everything fresh. Sometimes it means you are waiting a little longer for your food but it is worth the wait. We've had the lamb souvlaki, shawarma wrap, cheesesteak, wings, chickpeas, naan, dumplings, charga chicken, lentils, yuca, kabob. My favs have been the chickpeas, souvlaki and shawarma wrap. The naan I could eat all day.Give this place a try! Recommend ordering ahead at least for bigger orders."
"Noticed this new shop and decided to give it a try! Maybe not authentic but nice they offer rolls which makes it easy to eat and walk around the mall! We got the butter chicken roll and it was pretty tasty. The chicken is a little dry and it has many veggies. Tasted like a healthier lighter less saucy butter chicken and the roll itself was good too. 3/5Will be happy to stop by and try something new on their menu next time :)"
"Came here on a Thursday night. Lots of parking in the shopping center. There are two entrances, one in the back behind the shopping center and one in the front of the shopping center where you have to walk down some stairs. I recommend the front entrance since it has more lighting outside. We ordered a hookah and some butter chicken. Both were good. The butter chicken tasted great, though it was darker and had more oil than normal. As for the hookah it was food and comparable to most places. I like how they give you an extra coal so you don't have to ask for one later."
"This was my first time going to this restaurant. I've heard mixed reviews about this place but nonetheless wanted to give the restaurant a shot. I ordered the Butter Chicken with a garlic naan bread, and both were very tasty. It also came with rice which was also just as great. The cashier was very nice and respectful. And atmosphere of the place was my kind of vibe. My only regret was that I didn't eat in, because I was in a rush. Good experience I had, will definitely come again."
"I love the Namak Mandi in Falls Church and I was so happy to hear they created a location in DC. The best place to get Karahi in DC. The food is so flavorful and delicious. I got takeout and the servings were big and the food was hot and fresh!!! This is my new takeout spot in DC. 100% recommend!"
