"Lemme start off by saying the food is great here! We got seated promptly and someone greeted us right away to take our drink orders. We ordered the red snapper, wings, dukkboki and yaki udon with crab. The red snapper was great, fried crispy and had a not so sweet, tangy sauce on the plate. We got the soy garlic and sweet and spicy wings, both of which were fried to perfection and covered in the delicious sauces. Not one bite was soggy, the chicken was juicy and the sauces amazing. I'm not the biggest fan of rice cakes, but the dukkboki was awesome. I don't remember which one we got but it was addicting. The yaki udon with crab was delicious, with plentiful crab and ground pork. Noodles had a nice chewy texture and carried the sauce and meat well. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, more bar like but plenty of tables and seating. Well lit, but not bright by any means. Def give this spot a try, I highly recommend it!"
"Read the reviews on- line & decided to give them a try.First, the decor was cute , colorful & and playful. There was only 1 young lady taking orders on her tablet. However, she was fast & efficient. The food came out fast & was hot. We ordered 3 dishes. My husband ordered the Ka pow with chicken it was good & flavorful.I had the massamam curry & added string beans. It was delicious. We ordered a crabmeat fried rice. Like all the other reviews stated, it lacked flavor & spice. It would help if they seasoned the lump crab meat first added it to the rice & added more flavor. I wouldn't order thos again. The service was good. They definitely helped each other. The guys cleaning the tables was fast, and you never saw a dirty table.Would definitely return & try other dishes & a different rice."

"My friend and I went to this Thai restaurant for the first time. Service was great, but there were some other not-so-good things. The table had crumbs on the seats, which implied to me that it hadn't been cleaned. The food was not so good too. The veggie spring rolls were mostly batter and had very little filling, which to me implied they were store bought frozen and simply reheated. The green curry I got was grainy, as if the curry paste was not fully resolved. The bamboo shoots were stringy and not tender at all. The tofu in it tasted old and tough. My friend enjoyed her noodle dish, and the mango sticky rice was very delicious, but I couldn't get over the other downsides. For the prices they charge, I'd recommend trying other Thai places over this one."
"I was so excited to try this place out. I was craving some dumplings bad! My friends and I had just finished going to the Coffee Festival around the corner and were hopped up on caffeine and needed food! I ordered the pork soup dumplings and pork fried dumplings. While I know the soup dumplings would take a bit longer, even the guy working there apologized twice for how long it was taking. My friends had already gotten their food and were outside, halfway done with their meals before I ever came out. He said he'd throw in some freebies for the long wait, but that didn't happen. And despite the long wait, I really hoped it would have been worth it. Unfortunately, they were just ok, and somehow, after all that time, not even fully cooked. They were still quite doughy. So, sadly, I think I'll try somewhere else for my next meal at Union Market."
"Food is consistently good as is the service. Been there many times over the years, always a "must have" when in Bethesda. Recommend it!Kind of pricy but is good. Appetizers do the job."
"My favorite Thai place in MoCo. Pad thai, pork belly, and green curry are all excellent. I wish they would bring back their string beans appetizer. It was the best thing on the menu. It's more of a takeout place than a dine in since they have maybe 15 tables."
"I love the food here! It's a good spot for a meal before catching a movie across the street. The service is fast, and food is very flavorful. I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The decor is really nice. The restrooms are always clean. The chairs are a little in the high side. If your legs are bigger than average, they will touch the underside of the table."
"Incredibly delicious Chinese food. Plus simple, unimpressive interior and subpar service. Which is how you know it's a truly authentic Asian restaurant :) We tried the following:- Spicy lotus root slices - delicious! Highly recommended. It was not too spicy and actually had a slightly sweet kick too, which I really enjoyed. It provided a nice refreshing (and sweeter) balance to all other spicy dishes. - Chili oil wontons - probably the best chili oil wontons I've ever had so far! They were soft, chewy, and flavorful. The pork tasted really good, and the wonton wrappers were super fresh with a soft springy/doughy mouthfeel to them. - Zajiang noodles - quite spicy and flavorful with a good chewiness to the noodles. Only con is that the pork meat was very finely grounded, which I wasn't a big fan of (I prefer a coarser grind). - Sichuan beef noodle soup - beef was very moist and tender. Noodles were plentiful and chewy."
"This place just opened up and they're super friendly and the portion size were amazing! I highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant and will definitely be back in the future. They have a lot of plans for entertainment, such as karaoke and more!"
"Was excited to try this new establishment but unfortunately left really underwhelmed. Service was extremely scattered - with entrees coming out at delayed intervals and completely forgetting entrees until reminded. Grilled pork entree was cold and most entrees were not worth the price. Ambiance was nice and appreciate a family run business but service needs a lot of improvement."
"Sweet and sour pork or 탕수육 is excellent Spicy seafood noodle soup or 짬뽕 is greatBlack bean noodle or 자장면 is goodIn that order, happy to see a good Chinese-Korean fusion option in Manassas. Also, it is self-service so no tip needed. Still they do tend to you and make sure you are good. Feels like a cafeteria in Korea. Going to try their fried rice next, looked good."

3.9/5Experience is great! The ambiance is nice and modern/clean. The tables are well spaced out and the place is huge. Multiple businesses have had history at this location but none of them stayed too long. There's a full bar at the back so if you want to just chill around there, I've seen people do it. Great place for friends to gather on a weekend night! Food: I thought the food was overpriced and not that great. The flatbreads were so greasy and a bit unpleasant. I'd just come here for drinks and maybe some apps but I don't recommend you coming for dinner. Plus- food starts tasting better with a bit of alcohol lol Come at your own discretion! Overall, I still come here for drinks and vibes but you won't see me coming to just sit down and eat.

Thai Chef is in our neighborhood and is one of our go-to places. I've reviewed it before, but feel compelled to again. It's really good. Last night, my partner and I ordered a soup each, one order of Pad Thai with tofu and a chicken satay. Everything was delicious and after the soups (each containing a healthy portion of vegis or tofu) and most of the satay, took much of the Pad Thai home. The restaurant is welcoming, the servers friendly and attentive. The food is great.

Great food, I got there right at 5 when they reopen for dinner service and there was no one to tell me to find my own seat so I waited for a few minutes and came back and was seated right away and had great service. But it was still pretty empty at about 5:10. Food came out very fast and was amazing and the crowd picked up a little around 5:45. Would definitely recommend for a bite after work or a quick meal with friends or family

As I mentioned not too long ago, I haven't been in Union Market in years... and even so, there was never a time when I was really exploring freely since I've always had a mission. I stumbled upon this place, and I wanted a light snack. And the dumpling prices were really... affordable for the market (and DC in general) so I was intrigued! I got the ginger chicken dumplings and really enjoyed them! I was surprised that they didn't give any chopsticks with my order -- I had to come back in and grab some from the table a bunch of folks were sitting at. I'd be down to return and explore their other dumplings. Looks like their products can be purchased frozen and in stores. I've never seen them before, but this is all good to know!

came by on a thursday evening to catch up with a friend. we were seated immediately although i think i saw other people waiting (might've been larger groups). i ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. i'm not sure if the portions were large or if it was just really spicy - i couldn't finish my food but i was also drinking a lot of water due to the spice. we ordered dessert (coconut ice cream) to share but couldn't finish that either. i really liked the ambiance, it was well decorated. it was a great place to have a longer catch-up over dinner :)

Every time I visit my friends in Alexandria, we stop for take out from Galae Thai. I always get the pad Thai and it is delicious!! I especially love their Thai tea. If you're dining in, they have a boozy version which is kind of fun. There is a waitress (whose name is pronounced like "Jeep") who is so friendly. It's always a pleasure to see her smiling face when you walk in!

If you have been to Yu Noodles in Fairfax, Herndon, or McLean, you might be wondering if this Y Noodles is another branch. It is not! However, their tastes are very similar. I'm leaning towards Y Noodles over Yu Noodles for a few reasons. I counted the seats. There were just 30 of them. It's a tiny restaurant which is a vibe itself. It looks like a family-run business and this is the only branch. If you're bringing company, bring them for the food but not the décor. It's all essentials - I'm more than okay with that. Most importantly, the Noodles taste very similar to my hometown (which I call the Noodle Capital of the world). It's tough for any place in the US to match the taste there. I know, my bar is pretty high and you have absolutely no idea if I'm just making it up but, hey, Y Noodles is almost right up there with their Chili Wonton soup.Being more realistic (with the general public around Nova in mind), the power of the chili and spices here can be uncomfortably overwhelming for the average tongue. I grew up in Asia so this is a piece of cake for me. I prefer it. The food tastes better with that much spice in it. My only complaint is that there's just wayyyyyy too much oil. The food could still taste the same with less oil but that's not enough to prevent me from coming back. The staff works fast and the food comes out very quickly. The place is small so it's very efficiently managed. The beef and lamb skewers taste amazing. Beware they pour hot chili oil all over the skewers. If that isn't your thing, ask! I recommend it as-is though. I usually get my pork buns at 7 Corner despite the tightly packed meat clump inside. The pork buns here set an example of how the REAL pork buns should be! You must try them! Next, the Chili Wonton soup you must get. It just transports my tastebuds back to my hometown. Bottom Line: Authentic AF Chinese noodles! It's spicy city! Prepare to cry and blow thy nose. If you don't mind chili, you'll love this place. There are so many other noodles left for me to come back for.

"Portion size was extremely small. Looked like what I would pay for lunch. The sweet and sour chicken looked like something I could have gotten in the frozen section of the grocery store. The fried rice had zero flavor. The only reason for second star is the spring roll was tasty if small and the food was ready on time."
"we order from here frequently. The food is consistently good. It is delivered very quickly and is always hot when we get it. just good, solid, consistent experience. yes, you can order directly from them. their drivers are pleasant and quick."
"The best beef scallion pancake and fried calamari in DC!!! It's crispy and tasty! So yummy! Highly recommended."
"I've been to this restaurant twice and both times were good! I recently had their combination lo mein which was delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly and it doesn't feel as heavy compared to other restaurants'. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are in the area and would like some Chinese food!"
"Very delicious! Staycation at a nearby hotel, almost everything was closed on Christmas Day in Old Town. I reluctantly went into Noodle Box just because they were opened. Ordered Drunken Noodles and Lo Mein. Everything was surprisingly restaurant quality delicious! Very fresh, quality ingredients. I was very grateful to be able to have such a nice lunch on Christmas Day."
"Thai Cottage Bistro. The restaurant is very clean on the inside and has a modern setting. The customer service was very good as well. The food was great, really nothing to complain about. The dish I ordered was the Kao Mun Gai Tod which had fried chicken and rice and the proportions were great for its price. The dessert I had which was the Taro Roti is definitely a must try, it is a roti with taro inside with a side of matcha ice cream. Overall I would highly recommend this place and I will be coming back to try other dishes!"
"Fresh food. Great quality salad. Best part is you feel good after lunch and not heavy/greasy/sleepy. Price slightly higher than other quick food type places but worth it."
"Stopped here after a hair appointment to grab some lunch that wasn't fast food, and the fellow Yelp reviews persuaded me. A young man greeted me, and I asked to place an order to go. He handed me their menu but I read here to ask for their daily lunch specials. It was a handwritten list of 5-6 options, so I went for the Massaman Curry Chicken and added an order of spring rolls. They quoted a 10-minute wait, but it was bagged and ready for me in more like 5! I ate it at home, 20 minutes away, and it was still warm! The spring rolls were nice and crispy with a flavorful dipping sauce that wasn't too sweet like some others I've had. The lunch portion was a very good size and value. (This could have been an ample portion for dinner too, esp with the addition of spring rolls that I didn't have to share!) One side of the plastic portioned container had the yellow curried chicken and potatoes in sauce, and the other side had the jasmine rice with a vegetable mix of broccoli and thinly sliced carrot rounds. The Massaman curry was well-seasoned and flavorful; you could clearly taste the balance of spices and coconut milk. Delicious!I'll definitely be coming here again when I have the occasion to be in Burke."
"We ordered delivery from here tonight & were generally happy. One plus was that they have their own delivery folks, which means the guy actually did what we asked--put the food at the top of our staircase & rang the doorbell. We started with fried pork dumplings. We liked them. For our main course we had 2 kinds of chicken. The chicken with cashews was excellent, with crispy celery. The General Tso chicken wasn't as good"
"This is one of the rare places where you can find a healthy, tasty meal. They also make it quickly and there is usually a smaller liner during peak hours.Food is fresh and offers a lot of variety - I usually build my own bowl. Staff are friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. I also like that they open at 10:30am, I prefer to get my lunch earlier and avoid the rush of tourists that happens around noon."
"Soggy overly sweet, overly breaded expensive general tso chicken and flavorless egg drop drop."
"Delivery time was slightly under half an hour this go. I'd already packed leftovers from dinner and was preparing for a wine dinner, so I opted for fried wonton. My coworkers sprung for pepper steak, eggrolls, and egg drop soup. They pinch their wonton like tortellini, creating an attractive but difficult to eat wonton. Their dough runs thick, so you kinda have to nibble off the tips, then eat the rest in two bites for chewing room. Any other attempt would result in an abused esophagus.*cough*Should've tried the soup. Oh well.Eggrolls with mustard were actually pretty good, but the sesame chicken was average and their plain fried rice in their combo deals was soggy from having used a fresh batch of rice. Dried like it was undercooked. Szechuan beef also failed to wow. Crab rangoon was heavy on cream cheese but still a saving grace. Crispy beef and bbq spare ribs may be the only acceptable things to opt for."
"Delicious, fresh food, a wide selection of options and everything I've had has been very tasty and filling. I just wish they used Uber Eats so I could order it for delivery."
"Parking is really limited here. My friend and I stopped by for dinner yesterday at around 5:30 PM and all ~10 spots were taken so we had to park a few blocks away. Not the most convenient for sure. But at least it is metro accessible! The kiss and ride is right outside of the restaurant. Service was friendly and we always had enough water. But the pricing here is very expensive, which is typical Tysons. Unless you're only eating a single maki roll (which is less than a snack), you'll probably be paying over 25 for an entree. INFINITE TRIO DON - 37Each rice bowl comes with 4 pieces of tuna, 4 pieces of salmon and 4 pieces of yellowtail. I don't normally like tuna too much but it's quite fresh here. Yellowtail here was good but not the best. Salmon is always delicious. The sushi rice was a bit too dry as it easily fell apart. Overall, it's good but kind of steep to be paying so much for a casual dinner. The bowl they served it in was interesting. Never seen anything of that shape or color, lol.Sushi Umi is definitely not a casual meal. Be prepared to shell out 40-50 dollars per person after tax and tip."
"Arrived in 10 seconds- Chinese translation of this restaurant's name. Have been here two times since they opened. Love the variety noodle soup options. The proportion is big and it comes with generous amount of toppings. One of my favorites is the golden chicken soup. The broth is flavorful and thick, would definitely be back for the same dish!"
"The best pho around!!!! Very hot and flavorful! Tony makes the best peach oolong tea - medicinal"
"got takeout from here, but the inside looked cute as well!ordered the vegan tofu noodles and the veggie pho, and both were absolutely delicious with portions large enough to last for leftovers. def will be ordering from here again!!!"
"Came to this restaurant with the app "Too Good To Go". They are incredibly generous for deals via the app - $5 for a hearty meal and a bubble tea. The food is unique and amazing quality and the service was polite and fast. The restaurant is in a convenient location near Capital One Arena. Will definitely be back!"
"9/8/24- First time eating in (ordered take out multiple times) . I really wish the owner, whom I've had the pleasure of speaking to before, long ago, would include short rib in the pho. But none the less I more than enjoyed my pho... First time having the tea, the passion fruit tea is a must! And I'll be back for it also. I also tried the crispy shrimp, which was good alongside the sweat and sour sauce that's included. Hands down, the broth is ABSOLUTELY the best in NOVA!! I challenge anyone who thinks differently! Hot day, cold day, it doesn't matter. This pho is phenomenal and addicting! AGAIN, highly recommended.(Past review) HIDDEN GEM, hands down!!! The dedication to quality is a huge asset to me. The pho was the best I've had around the entire DMV area. The broth has a deep beef taste that can't be beat. You get what you pay for in quality here! They have a repeat customer for sure. Also management and staff friendly and engaging, offering recommendations and explanation to any questions.... WOW! Don't hesitate, highly recommended!"
"I stumbled on this spot after a Nats game. The open door concept was inviting and they had a huge sign that said happy hour all day! They had some amazing drink specials for HH. I also decided to try the ramen. The bartender suggested the Strike Out. I wasn't impressed. The soup, which was curry based, lack flavor. It was missing something. The veggies were cooked well and the noodle were amazing! However, ramen has to have a good soup base to complement everything else. I wanted to love it but it fell short. The chicken was served on the side and was seasoned perfectly! I'd come back to try something else."
"Ive had this location on my radar since it as opened and I finally made it here for dinner! Ive dined at their Manassas location several times and was in awe at how spacious this location was! The interior is a whole vibe! The staff was pleasant and very attentive. The menu is vast so it may take a minute to determine what you would like to eat so take your time to review it before making your final decisions. We ordered a few things and agreed to share them all amongst ourselves as we seem to have our eyes on all the same dishes. Our food came out piping hot to the table and the wait for its arrival was standard. Would entertain coming back to this location again whenever I am in the area!"
"So good. Big generous servings of everything. The garden spring rolls are so fresh and delicious. The tofu vermicelli bowl was also fresh, fun to eat, and such a mix of flavors. So great. It is a small place, but fine to eat in, and scrupulously clean. Convenient parking too."
"I would have to say this food was really good for me and my co-worker just looking through Yelp trying to see which this place we going to chose from. So with anything you know the prices going to be a little higher than going to the actual restaurant when you ordering delivery. I went through ChowNow which states all monies go to the restaurant and not half to like the other services. So I order enough food to last me for dinner and my lunch for the next day at work. My order consisted of spicy pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, a chicken wonton soup spicy, garlic noodles extra spicy with chicken, and a thai tea. Now the food was real good, fresh, and hot so I would give them a 3.5 maybe even 3.75 stars because we ordered when they first opened so to get the freshest food possible. Reason for the lower stars is because there was no silverware in the bag. Now we are ordering at work so I didn't know nowadays you have to ask for plastic ware to be with your food. But that was a surprise has to eat with a spoon. But even with that mishap I would definitely order from them again! Maybe even tomorrow! lol"
