"Gosh I have been dreaming about those dumplings for so long. I don't live very close. So when I was in the area I had to make time to dine in ( takeout doesn't do justice I think). N it didnot disappoint. I went overboard and ordered .... Chicken soup dumplings, spicy oil wonton and pan fried pork bun. Loved all of it. I am biased to the soup dumplings and the spicy wonton. Can't decide what's my favorite.... lol . Can't wait to go back again. The service was prompt. It was relatively busy considering it was not dinner time yet at 5pm."
"Yum!! Stopped by when visiting Virginia with my friends today! I normally struggle at pho restaurants since I don't eat red meat, and was a little worried coming in only seeing one chicken option on the menu. I ordered the chicken pho with a vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Both were delicious! The broth had a rich flavor with a distinct spiced, almost cinnamon-y aroma. There were also plenty of green onions throughout the broth, adding to the depth of flavor. A lot of times with chicken phos at restaurants I find that the chicken gets tough in the broth, but here the chicken was sliced thin and stayed deliciously tender. I doctored mine up with the hoisin and sriracha provided at the table, and the sliced jalapeños and limes that came with the pho. Delicious! And extremely affordable, the small was only a little over $10--although I did come in pretty hungry and probably could've had a large instead. The vietnamese coffee was sweet and strong too, and complemented the pho.The environment is cozy and welcoming, with more of a crowd coming in as we were leaving. It does seem like it can get pretty busy inside! One thing to note is that they are cash-only, but there are ATMs in store to use if needed. The service was super quick, no complaints from me--we were seated immediately, our orders were taken quickly, and the food also came out fast. This is definitely the best pho I've had on the east coast, and I would love to come back!"

"Pho was decent! If you're lookin( for an affordable, quick meal this is your spot. It doesn't compare to spots on the West coast or a home-cooked pho though if that's what you're looking for. But it gets the job done on a cold day! Cash only so don't forget to bring cash!Parking can be chaos no matter what time of day because of all the restaurants in this tiny plaza. We went over to the Giant and parked over there. Saw a few other ppl did the same."
"This was a fabulous lunch today from start to finish! The decor is really lovely! Very crowded but not really noisy or too warm inside at all- and even though it was absolutely packed on a holiday Monday for lunch, there was a waitlist online that we joined about 35 minutes in advance while picking up our daughter from the airport- it was so easy because we could see exactly where we were in line and how long was left (it's only 10 minutes from DCA). We had a lovely waitress who was very efficient and our food came out very quickly and piping hot. We ordered (3 of us): scallion pancake, pork & chive dumplings, pan fried sweet corn and pork gyoza, chicken soup dumplings, and cucumber salad. Everything was 10/10 and honestly it was the best cucumber salad we've ever tasted. I had the house made pineapple beer and it was really good! Sweeter and refreshing. We will go back every time we head back home from the airport!"
"I would have to say this food was really good for me and my co-worker just looking through Yelp trying to see which this place we going to chose from. So with anything you know the prices going to be a little higher than going to the actual restaurant when you ordering delivery. I went through ChowNow which states all monies go to the restaurant and not half to like the other services. So I order enough food to last me for dinner and my lunch for the next day at work. My order consisted of spicy pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, a chicken wonton soup spicy, garlic noodles extra spicy with chicken, and a thai tea. Now the food was real good, fresh, and hot so I would give them a 3.5 maybe even 3.75 stars because we ordered when they first opened so to get the freshest food possible. Reason for the lower stars is because there was no silverware in the bag. Now we are ordering at work so I didn't know nowadays you have to ask for plastic ware to be with your food. But that was a surprise has to eat with a spoon. But even with that mishap I would definitely order from them again! Maybe even tomorrow! lol"
"Stopped here after a hair appointment to grab some lunch that wasn't fast food, and the fellow Yelp reviews persuaded me. A young man greeted me, and I asked to place an order to go. He handed me their menu but I read here to ask for their daily lunch specials. It was a handwritten list of 5-6 options, so I went for the Massaman Curry Chicken and added an order of spring rolls. They quoted a 10-minute wait, but it was bagged and ready for me in more like 5! I ate it at home, 20 minutes away, and it was still warm! The spring rolls were nice and crispy with a flavorful dipping sauce that wasn't too sweet like some others I've had. The lunch portion was a very good size and value. (This could have been an ample portion for dinner too, esp with the addition of spring rolls that I didn't have to share!) One side of the plastic portioned container had the yellow curried chicken and potatoes in sauce, and the other side had the jasmine rice with a vegetable mix of broccoli and thinly sliced carrot rounds. The Massaman curry was well-seasoned and flavorful; you could clearly taste the balance of spices and coconut milk. Delicious!I'll definitely be coming here again when I have the occasion to be in Burke."
"Ordered delivery from Rice & Noodle Thai Gourmet for the first time today and was very glad I did so. The spring rolls arrived still very crispy and the dipping sauce was perfectly spicy. For my main dish, I went very traditional - ordering the Pad Thai. While I usually like to be more adventurous with my menu selections Pad Thai is one of those dishes that is so iconic and basic that if a Thai restaurant messes it up, it speaks volumes. Gladly, the Pad Thai from this place was excellent- not to mention a huge portion. I ordered extra protein (chicken) and they packed it in- tender and tasty. Can't wait to try more of the menu items!"
"You can never go wrong with a trip to the historical Eden Center! Known for housing many Asian cultural stores and food marts, Pho Hai Duong is one of the many small but yummy businesses to find here. This was my very first time visiting this restaurant as it's somewhere my boyfriend who is Filipino, grew up going to here in the Arlington/Falls Church area. I ordered a small number 2 and we shared some crispy egg rolls. He ordered a vermicelli dish that had egg rolls in it as well that he thoroughly demolished lol. The service was fast and great. An easy 5/5!Parking does get crazy so definitely try to plan your visit."
"I've been here several times and the food is very good. I enjoy their curry. It's not too spicy and the place is a little dark, but it was really nice. The service is terrific and I enjoyed it. I'll be back several times over."
"Was so excited to find this place. It was packed and for good reason. Loved that i was able to make my bowl with any combination I wanted. Food was fresh and so good. Not a lot of seating, but things opened up quickly. I only wish I lived closer."
"Excellent food service and price. Our favorite got too for Thai. Try it out you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend."
"Read the reviews on- line & decided to give them a try.First, the decor was cute , colorful & and playful. There was only 1 young lady taking orders on her tablet. However, she was fast & efficient. The food came out fast & was hot. We ordered 3 dishes. My husband ordered the Ka pow with chicken it was good & flavorful.I had the massamam curry & added string beans. It was delicious. We ordered a crabmeat fried rice. Like all the other reviews stated, it lacked flavor & spice. It would help if they seasoned the lump crab meat first added it to the rice & added more flavor. I wouldn't order thos again. The service was good. They definitely helped each other. The guys cleaning the tables was fast, and you never saw a dirty table.Would definitely return & try other dishes & a different rice."

I suppose I could just copy and paste my review of the Pho 75 in Rosslyn, but I won't. They are basically the same experience. Cash only (though there is an ATM inside). One difference between the Pho 75 in Falls Church and the one in Rosslyn is that here, there is plenty of parking. And too, the Falls Church Pho 75 is next to Banh Mi DC where you can pick up some mighty good eggrolls as a way to top off your pho afterwards. This location is always very busy. But even if the line to be seated is spilling out the door, the line moves quickly.Service is brisk and no-nonsense, though still polite. If the server remembers you, he will dispense with providing you with a menu and just take your order right there on the spot. I like that!I have a bit of preference for their fragrant and tasty chicken broth over the still very good beef broth, so I always order the #17 (pho ga). You can order the regular or large size. The difference between the sizes is barely noticeable. For $2 extra, you can order a cup of extra meat.At Pho 75, I always order the coffee with condensed milk. The standard practice is to take your coffee in the mug, stir it with the condensed milk at the bottom of the mug, then pour it over the ice in a another glass. But me, I drink the coffee with a spoon, taking a spoonful of the rich dark delicious coffee with a dab of the sweet condensed milk from the bottom of the mug. The contrast in the flavors is a delightful experience.

I have been to Tiger dumplings numerous times. There tends to be a wait, so if you are able to make a reservation, you may want to do that around dinner time. They have large tables that are somewhat private in the back that are great for larger parties. We were able to comfortably accommodate a party of eight at one of these tables. A few of my go to items when ordering from here are the sea salt garlic fish, the Dan Dan noodles, and the signature potstickers. The mixed drinks are really good as well.Tonight I decided to try the cod and cilantro dumplings. The fish is cooked well, however, they are very mild, I would enjoy them more if they had more flavor to them.

After a long, exhausting day in DC, we found ourselves at Thai Curry for dinner, driven by our collective craving for Thai food. This restaurant, highly rated and conveniently close to our hotel, lived up to its reputation by offering an exceptional dining experience that truly stands out. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance captivated us with its exquisite design and inviting atmosphere. The decor, a tasteful blend of traditional Thai elements and modern touches, created a space that felt both warm and sophisticated. The food at Thai Curry was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was meticulously crafted, showcasing the vibrant and bold flavors that make Thai cuisine so beloved. We started with the Wonton Soup and Vegetable Soup, both of which provided a comforting and flavorful introduction to our meal. The broth in the Wonton Soup was rich yet light, enveloping the wontons in a delicious embrace, while the Vegetable Soup was a refreshing choice, filled with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The main courses did not disappoint. The Panang Curry with chicken was a standout, featuring a creamy coconut milk base infused with aromatic spices that delivered a delightful kick. Paired with fluffy white rice, the curry offered a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The Ka Praw - Thai Basil Stir-Fried Chicken was another highlight, striking a perfect balance between spicy and savory, with fragrant basil leaves that elevated the dish. The rice and noodle dishes were equally impressive, though with one exception. The Pineapple Fried Rice with shrimp was a delightful combination of sweet and savory, with juicy pineapple pieces complementing the succulent shrimp. The Thai Fried Rice with chicken, however, was a bit of a departure from our other choices. While it was comforting, we had requested a mild version, which resulted in a dish that lacked the bold flavors we were hoping for. On the other hand, the Drunken Noodle-Pad Kee Mao with chicken was a must-try, offering a robust and spicy flavor profile that was both satisfying and addictive.Overall, Thai Curry excelled in delivering a memorable dining experience. The food was outstanding, with each dish reflecting the richness and diversity of Thai cuisine. The spice levels were perfectly balanced, enhancing the flavors without overwhelming them. The staff further enriched the experience with their warm and welcoming demeanor, engaging in friendly conversations that made us feel right at home. With its terrific service and exquisite ambiance, Thai Curry is a place that promises to delight your senses and leaves you eager to return for more.

Hai Duong - A Family Pho Spot with Heart!Hai Duong has been my family's go-to for pho for over 20 years, and it's become a tradition we look forward to every weekend. There's something special about a place that knows you, and here, they don't just recognize our faces -- they understand our needs. My nephew is autistic, and the staff is always considerate, making our visits comfortable and welcoming every time. Our usual lineup? The Goi Cuon to start, and of course, a big bowl of Pho Tai Gau. The goi cuon comes out fresh, with shrimp, vermicelli, and herbs wrapped in soft rice paper, paired with a sauce that's just the right mix of savory and sweet. It's the perfect appetizer to get things going. Then comes the pho, and let me tell you, the Pho Tai Gau here is everything you want it to be -- hot, flavorful, with tender slices of beef and that perfect balance of herbs and spices. Each bowl feels like a warm, comforting hug, exactly what you need before a busy day. This spot has become part of our routine -- we fuel up at Hai Duong before heading off to the market and running errands. If you're looking for a pho spot that feels like home and takes care of its customers like family, Hai Duong is it. It's a place that's been there for us for decades, and every bowl is a reminder of why we keep coming back.

"We just bought a house and have been living the "dining out" lifestyle until we're settled (living the dream, right?). On our way from our new home to our old apartment, we decided to stop at Sushi Umi in Herndon for a little Japanese food fix.The moment we walked in and heard, "Irasshaimase," I was transported. The nostalgia hit hard, and I was ready to relive our Japan days. We started with otoro nigiri and tuna maki rolls, and let me tell you, the otoro was chef's kiss. It melted in our mouths like butter, and we knew it was the real deal. The house salads with sesame dressing? A simple joy I didn't realize I missed. Then came the main dishes, and things got... interesting. The chicken karaage? Not my favorite. The breading was heavy and greasy, and the chicken was overcooked. Not exactly the light, crispy perfection I was hoping for. My husband, on the other hand, was loving his tonkotsu ramen--exactly what he wanted. He also ordered fried avocado because, well, of course he did (so American). I took a bite, and yeah... not for me. He liked it, though, so I'll give him that.I'm a bit pickier when it comes to details, and between the karaage misstep, the ripped booth seating (not a good look, y'all), and some awkwardness among the staff, I feel there's room for improvement. That said, the sushi quality and warm atmosphere gave me a little slice of Japan, and for that, I'm grateful. Sushi Umi, you've got potential--I'll be back (maybe after a booth makeover)."
"So this is sort of like an Asian chipotle. You fill out your selection in a paper slip and they will make your bowl. It was quick, tasted great, and the price was very reasonable."
"Ordered takeout for yesterday evening since it was cold and rainy, and the food was delivered quick! The pho tai is a smaller serving for the price but overall the broth had a clean and rich taste. Also got the combination bun thit nuong tasted really good, but wish there was slightly a little bit more of the fish sauce since there was a lot of noodles in this dish! Lastly, the beef stew aka Bo kho was really delicious-- beware it is on the spicier side but totally worth it if you can handle it. Overall would order from here again for takeout!"
"Wow. Just wow. I normally don't do reviews until my third try, but this was THE BEST drunken noodles I've had in a very long time. The chicken was so crispy and the noodle flavor was amazing. Can't wait to go back!"
"I stumbled on this spot after a Nats game. The open door concept was inviting and they had a huge sign that said happy hour all day! They had some amazing drink specials for HH. I also decided to try the ramen. The bartender suggested the Strike Out. I wasn't impressed. The soup, which was curry based, lack flavor. It was missing something. The veggies were cooked well and the noodle were amazing! However, ramen has to have a good soup base to complement everything else. I wanted to love it but it fell short. The chicken was served on the side and was seasoned perfectly! I'd come back to try something else."
"The best pho around!!!! Very hot and flavorful! Tony makes the best peach oolong tea - medicinal"
"Same name but completely different menu. The broth is different and a bit more oily. The portions seem a bit smaller. The spring rolls are different and that's the saddest part for me. Those spring rolls were the best and now they have the regular wrappers instead. The service was fine and the interior is the same. Overall not bad pho but not the original pho Cong Ly recipe."
"This place is clean, and the food is very authentic not your average pho must try this place really good"
"Yummy. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. Fastest best cheapest for a good lunch around there"
"My wife and I only recently learned of this restaurant. I'm sad that I'm leaving the area soon because their PHO is PHOnomenal! It's very comforting. Their takeout is JUST as good as in the store."
"So good. Big generous servings of everything. The garden spring rolls are so fresh and delicious. The tofu vermicelli bowl was also fresh, fun to eat, and such a mix of flavors. So great. It is a small place, but fine to eat in, and scrupulously clean. Convenient parking too."
"If you want good pho, this is the place to go! It's run down looking and accepts cash only but it makes up for it in all other areas. The service is quick and the pho is delicious with lots of options and a tasty broth. I also really enjoy their ice coffee!"
"Very delicious! Staycation at a nearby hotel, almost everything was closed on Christmas Day in Old Town. I reluctantly went into Noodle Box just because they were opened. Ordered Drunken Noodles and Lo Mein. Everything was surprisingly restaurant quality delicious! Very fresh, quality ingredients. I was very grateful to be able to have such a nice lunch on Christmas Day."
"Unassuming little place that feels geared towards locals. Inside is generic and nonpretentious, there was a local band setting up, folks said regular orders as they walked to favorite tables. Staff was very friendly and attentive and food was actually great! Pad Thai wasn't greasy but full of fresh herb and peanut flavor, and the curry was complex and spiced perfectly."
"Indoor and outdoor seating available. Great service. I can't remember if I had the chicken or pork chop noodle soup but one of the two. It was very good and it's a decent size bowl as well. It was delicious. My counterpart got the dumplings and he loved them."
"this place is delicious! If you're craving noodles and noodle soup, I highly recommend. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and the quantity is huge. Tons of toppings in the noodle soup and well worth it. The owner is also extremely nice and service was great. The menu has pictures for everything so you know what you're getting. I tried the signature beef noodle soup and again, was delicious. they also have different spicy options and you can add more spice from your table if you need to. will be coming back!"
"Got the Drunken Noodles with chicken this time. Very good lunch special!Service was quick and still quite busy even after 12:30pm. The staff is efficient and lots of delivery orders going out as we waited.I like the ambiance so next time I will enjoy a moment to sit down and have lunch on my next visit."
"Kinda wanna gatekeep this place but...it would be wrong to. My sister in law found Sushi Ohayo on IG so last night when the baby was asleep we decided to make the 45 min drive from Gaithersburg to give it a try. Yes it's far...but if you have the time it's definitely worth it. We ate an INORDINATE amount of sushi for 4. And for $25.99 per person you really can't beat it. The quality of the sushi surpassed all of our expectations. My favorite was the salmon stuffed with crabmeat (it's on the menu as a "bowl" but it's basically sashimi there's no rice, limit 2 per person/order - that does not mean 2 per person FYI, just per order). I probably ate like 20 of those things they were so good. The yellowtail had this nice sweet and citrusy yuzu glaze that paired perfectly with it, that one was my brother's fav. They have an extensive list of specialty rolls as well included in the AYCE. A number of them were fried and/or had cream cheese, which I wasn't feeling that day so I was able to eliminate a lot of them. The ones I tried were the King, Dragon, and those were good. The eel nigiris were HUGE btw. For one round we got a plate just basically just eel nigiris lol. The white tuna was like butter. The service was EXCELLENT. Our waitress was actually so attentive to us, she would come by our table to take our next order at exactly the right times. No reservations, but apparently when my brother called the man who answered said he could take his name, number, and time down and try to save a space for him, and when we got there, the guy actually had a sticky note with his info on it. So thoughtful I just had to mention it.Things I wouldn't bother with are the combination yakisoba (was a bit bland and also not really combination because there was barely any meat), miso soup (bland also). Wouldn't get the sashimi for +$6 because I don't think it's needed. Was kind of disappointed that hot tea was extra too.Ok, well now I just have to pray they don't increase the prices after all the people start showing up :)"
"Ive had this location on my radar since it as opened and I finally made it here for dinner! Ive dined at their Manassas location several times and was in awe at how spacious this location was! The interior is a whole vibe! The staff was pleasant and very attentive. The menu is vast so it may take a minute to determine what you would like to eat so take your time to review it before making your final decisions. We ordered a few things and agreed to share them all amongst ourselves as we seem to have our eyes on all the same dishes. Our food came out piping hot to the table and the wait for its arrival was standard. Would entertain coming back to this location again whenever I am in the area!"
"A delicious lunch special and amazing Thai tea. The service is great. I accidentally ordered at the wrong place and they actually called the other restaurant and canceled my order. Their lunch special comes with fried Thai rice, salad and 2 spring rolls for $13.95 with taxes. The ambiance is really cute and they have pictures of food around tables so you know what to expect."
"The food was okay and I don't know if it was a matter of freshness or a different taste that inwasbt accustomed to. I ordered chicken and broccoli."
"My experience here was 10/10. From the service to the food. Everything was so amazing. I ordered the drunken noodles, and my boyfriend got the fried fish, as an appetizer we shared the beef soup. Everything was so delish, the server we had was amazing and so kind. Will be here again. The cocktails also weren't too expensive. I stuck with Thai tea but noticed they had $10 cocktails. Will be back!"
