"Food was very good. Kofta was as good as it gets with the flavors. Lentil soup was fine but no bread or crackers were served with it. Saffron ice cream was very frozen (like a block) with ok flavor. I recommend letting it soften and be a bit more creamy and sweeter.I recommend bread and butter with the soup.I recommend iced hibiscus tea in lieu of hot. Please do not change anything about kofta. I would go again just for kofta. My friend liked his lamb meal."
"5 stars in one of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever tasted in this area. Yeah I was a person who ordered the Cauliflower Shawarma so you didn't have to, LOL. It was so flavorful and nutritious, and I didn't feel bad eating them afterwards and undo the workout I just did at Hotworx next door."

"Well if your GPS takes you around to the back parking lot like mine did, it might look rather unassuming BUT go INSIDE! You will not be disappointed! The pita is made fresh in house in a wood fired oven! You pass it as you head to the inside seating area. There's also an outside area and they have hooka too The food is buffet style with different hot options depending on the day. Kabobs, roasted chicken and rice seem to be staples. Then different stews and rice. Salad, hummus, tzatziki, and babaganush are cold option staples. Different coffees, espresso, tea, FRESH lemonade (gotta try it!) as well as canned sodas.Deserts are plentiful variety of baklava and other sweets I can't remember the name of. They are all delicious.Folks are friendly and happy to explain the different foods if you're not familiar. We'll be back again for sure!"
"I've been wanting to come back after a fun night at Joon for Yelp event over a year ago!My best friend and I went for brunch on a Saturday. We had their unlimited small plates option. It felt family style instead of tapas because the dishes were generously big for tapas. My favorites were the falafel and the beef sausage (Sosis Bandari) but every dish was flavorful! The space is beautiful and our server was very friendly. The complimentary valet is a plus!I'd definitely recommend!"
"I always walk by this place and want to try it but didn't get around to it until a few weeks ago. Placed a pickup order and it was ready a couple minutes before they said it would so pickup was very fast. The employees at the door and the bar were both very friendly. We ordered the kubideh kabob, jujeh kabob, kashk-e-bademjan, and a side of shireen polo and plain basmati. The chicken was surprising juicy (I don't love chicken breast) but the kubideh was just a tad dry. Both had very very good flavor though and I would get both again. The kashk-e-bademjan (eggplant dip) was incredible and I will probably get this every time we go here it was that good. The shireen polo was a tad sweet for me but still really good. We want to try the other 2 specialty rices as well, but the plain basmati is hard to beat. It looks like it still has saffron and some kind of butter or oil on it, it was anything but plain, so good. Last thing is the portion sizes. 2 meals and 2 sides was enough for probably 3.5 meals for us so the portions were definitely generous Will absolutely be back to try more of the food!"
"One of my go to kabob restaurants in the area! Really good food and great customer service. Staffs are always very nice and friendly! If you have large orders they always help you carry the items to your car. I always have a great experience every time I go there."
"Huge fan of Sheesh. I've been coming to Mosaic to get my hair done for over a year and if it's during a time when I need to grab a meal, Sheesh is at the top of the list. My faves are clearly (I mean, look at my pics. Haha) the chicken kabob platter with the juicy flavorful chicken, spinach, chickpeas, and rice. Love the green/hot sauce but will also use the other sauce as well. The burger was such a surprise to me. I got it just 2 weeks ago (oh yeah, I get my hair done every other week) for the second time and it was as good as I remembered. Really SO many delicious spices that it's better than a "regular" burger. I get it with fries which are super crunchy, just how I like them. Pro-tip: You can pay with the inKind app and take advantage of the deals they give and it's so convenient. I will be coming back."
"Well lit dining area with Middle Eastern music softly playing in the background. It was my first time having Yemeni food. Our server was very patient and described some of his favorite dishes and the ones we were questioning. I got the Sautéed shrimp, very flavorful. I thought it was gonna be spicy, but it wasn't. I finished my meal with Shai' Adeni (Yemeni tea)- it was amazing and I'd honestly come back just for that!My sister had the Fahsa Salta (lamb stew). She liked the flavor and the big chunks of lamb in the dish. I don't like lamb, but the stew was good. There is a plate of dates on each table. They were soft and sweet."
"This was my first time eating at an upscale Mediterranean restaurant. The service was great. We made reservations online and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. We were going to be a little late so we called ahead to see of they could push back our reservation a little and they did so happily. They even gave us two dessert with candles for our birthday. The waitress was really nice and friendly.I have not had a lot of mediterranean food so I'm not an expert but I really enjoy the food.We started with the salatim which came with 5 different hummus and two pita. We ordered an extra 4 pita because they were so good and we had a lot of hummus to eat. The pita was very reasonably priced at $1 each. The hummus was very good! The tables favorite hands down was the turmeric tahini with hot honey, SO GOOD!We also ordered the Beef kofta, Salmon kebab, Stake kebab and the Lamb Shank. To shareMy favorites were the lamb shank and the salmon kebab. Both were cooked perfectly and were so flavorful. Great birthday experience, I would definitely come again."
"I'm back in the DVM for work after leaving 3yrs ago due to COVIDand let me tell you I missed this place so much reminds me of being back in Manama Bahrain. The food is amazing hot and fresh I'll be coming back once a week to get my Grub on :)"
"Service here was SPEEDY! The only thing I tried was the chocolate soft serve (which is vegan!) and it definitely put the soft in soft serve. Despite scarfing it down, it was definitely melting very quickly. The soft serve was flavorful without being overpowering. Would want to return to try the vanilla tahini soft serve!"
"Driving here put me in a bad mood haha The awkward turns to get into the parking lot and then finding out the parking lot is very small and incomplete... whew, I had to park in the lot next door. I wasn't sure what to expect inside after that fiasco, but wow, i'm glad I made it inside. I got the Chicken Shawarma Shrak, all spreads and toppings included (pickles on the side). This was one of the BEST Chicken Shawarma wraps I've ever had in the area. A lot of places make it too dry, but Haifa's was moist and full of flavor. Very generous in size too.Worth the headache of driving and parking there, I promise you!"

Lush decor (fluffy pillows!) and good Mediterranean food! We enjoyed the meat dumplings, and my wife dug the falafel (she said they were more crispy than normal, but good). A nice Israeli salad. Lovely chicken kabobs (the salmon was good, but can't hold a candle to the succulent chicken). Everyone else liked the Turkish baklava--too much honey.for my tastes but good for everyone else.

Joon was recently included in the NYTimes Top 50 Favorite Restaurants in the US, and it is well deserved. We had the opportunity to visit on a Tuesday when they have 3-course pre-fixe dinners, and it was perfect for our group of 4. Pretty reasonable for $50 especially given how much food you get. The portions are generous. The restaurant is gorgeous. Cocktails are divine. The service was next level. Would highly recommend for a date night or a night out with friends!

I order to go and had the chicken kabob plate and beef chuck of soup with kidney Beans. The chicken was amazing and the soup was okay but it only had 2 pieces of beef. The chicken was seasoned well and the white sauce it came with was solo good!I took off a star because they gave me the bottom part of the rice that was hard and a little burned. I will definitely go back for some more chicken kabob!

Ordered the A7 - shami kabob. Friendly joyous ambiance. The food was well flavored and the spices danced together with a harmony that heats the soul. I was kindly given soup during my short wait for the kabob dish. Great service!

Great food! All the appetizers are amazing and their entrees are all so unique and very delicious. The mint lemonade was top notch. The spices and different ingredients used come together so nicely with the right amount of flavor. The service is always wonderful and will definitely be back there soon! Oh and the desserts were wonderful also!

"Wow, been a long time since I wrote a review. This place deserves some praise. It is a tiny restaurant that requires you to walk down some steps to enter. There are some tables, but this is mostly a to-go spot. The owner told me as much and said 95% of their orders are for takeout. You can eat there, but don't expect spectacular ambiance. There isn't much parking, I double parked on the two occasions I picked up.The food is amazing. I have had my fair share of Indian food in my life, and this ranks up there. I feel like chicken Tikka masala is a good measuring stick, and this was excellent. Sauce had spice and depth to it, even the texture was nice and thick yet smooth, with tender chunks of chicken. All the dishes we got were great. My cousin got a vegetarian dish that she loved, I forget the name. Butter chicken was on point. The second time around I got the Chicken Kali Mirch. Excellently seasoned sauce with tons of flavor and spice. Once again big pieces of perfectly cooked chicken. Their rice is not dry and the Naan is fluffy. My mom got some lamb kabob, nice pieces of meat. And the samosas were on point too.Prices are perfectly reasonable. Definitely worth a visit."
"My picky friend and I revisited Jerusalem restaurant last night. We were once again impressed with the expertly prepared dishes: the lamb dishes, appetizer and dessert were utterly delicious. And this place has such beautiful décor, perfect for a date or family gathering. Highly recommended."
"Good food, kind of awkward experience. I had been wanting to try this place because it's in such an unusual location and it's near the Cross County Trail (not a lot of businesses are). They really seemed like they didn't want me to eat there. They handed me the food to go when I wanted to eat it there. I asked if there was some kind of outside patio where I could eat, and they said no. Then I noticed the cool indoor/outdoor hookah space (which I'd seen online.) I was like, "can I eat there?" They were like ........"oh yeah, sure."I got out there and they turned the music off. Totally strange vibe. This was around 3 pm, so it was definitely a strange time anyway. The shawarma was decent. The pita was perfect, the chicken a little gamey, the garlic sauce was money.I was really surprised to see they're open until 4 am! It must really transform in the evening."
"This was an amazing place to try out! The restaurant is cozy with very friendly service. I came here with three other people and we came hungry! We order a beef, lamb, and chicken dish along with hummus. Everything was so flavorful, filling, and well cooked. We asked the server for their recommendations and they did not steer us wrong. We also had the baklava and fatah, which were also both amazing and recommended."
"I came to Food Corner Kabob House on a Saturday afternoon. I had heard great things about this spot from a friend so I was excited to try. This restaurant shares a huge parking lot with multiple retailers so parking should not be an issue. My husband and I each ordered Boneless Chicken Kabob with Rice, Bread and Fried Spinach. The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor, bread came out steaming hot and fresh and the fried spinach was better than I thought it would be. I can see why my friend liked this spot so much. It took about 10 minutes after we put in our order for the food to come out, so be patient if it is a long wait... it is worth it! Luckily it was not super packed so we only had two customers waiting ahead of us. Overall the staff were friendly and polite and the food came out freshly made and secure in a takeout bag. I will definitely be back here soon :)"
"4.5: Great tasting food, good service and ambiance in a cute shopping complexCame here on a Monday afternoon and it was empty. The menu isn't big but if you are open to kebabs, hummus, pita type things you'll be fine. The lunch special chicken Shwarma dish was delicious! Chicken tender, fragrant rice, nice salad, hummus, chips. Best thing was you didn't feel gross afterward. The seating surrounds a bar area and there's also outdoor seating if you prefer.I'd love to return when it's a little more bustling. There are quite a few good food places in this area including True Food and I think most people would find something they'd like!"
"My wife ordered via food delivery service which offered a nice BOGO free offer on select items. I chose the Shami which is broiled ground beef and came with rice, chickpeas, and salad. I thought it was ok but didn't overwhelm me with flavor or wow factor to give it a higher rating. My son ordered Shami as well, felt the same, and is somewhat of a rice snob to where he didn't eat much of his rice. The naan was plentiful in quantity but not taste as it was simply bread. I also ordered the baklava as I typically do at restaurants who make it given time spent in the middle east, and hoping to find something comparable. The baklava here was small for the price, overly sweet, and seemingly saturated instead of flaky. I would try other options before returning to this restaurant given my perceived lack of flavor in the food with this experience."
"I arrived before opening, but he was able to cook up the most tender chicken pita I have ever had. The chicken was seasoned with Curry and was just perfect. Added fresh vegetables and feta with hot sauce and a creamy ranch. Just awesome. He really loves his job and cares about customer satisfaction. I would definitely eat there again, I highly recommend Tasty Kabob."
"If you are looking for a late night hookah place where you can get great food, come here! They are located right across the street from Greenhouse, which is a great place for dancing on a Friday or Saturday night. I would recommend swinging by before or after! They have great portions with a decent variety. They have indoor and outdoor covered seating. You have to order at the counter then sit down, they will call your order once it's ready. I knocked a star off because of the parking situation and the service. I felt rushed and he was not helpful at all. The parking was a hassle but if you wait you will get a spot. If you are in the area, I suggest giving this place a shot. They have great food for great prices. I loved the ground beef kabob with the rice and chickpeas!"
"Well for one, our server knew what alma mater was so that was great. Also, the food was really great. The outdoor area is surprisingly super warm for the middle of the winter! Highly recommend."
"Very tasty food. My wife got a lamb/beef platter and I got the chicken gyro. Gyro is loaded as you can see, doubt you'll come out hungry. The chicken is well cooked and it seems like they add lemon or something to it and the lamb as well. Their lamb/beef doesn't seem to be housemade but they definitely add some more flavor to it and I thought it tasted better than the chicken. Yogurt sauce is also amazing. You can see the fresh dill. Service was reasonably fast, probably took 7-8 min. The ambiance of the place was more casual, but enjoyed the flag decor."
"Called for delivery On Christmas day eve and immediately got through to an extremely pleasant knowledgeable and helpful Staffer. We ordered an extra large pizza with multiple toppings and a no cheese pizza for someone with a dairy allergy. Also three Mediterranean salads and an order of DolmadesThe pizza was fabulous. Clearly freshly made dough wonderfully complex sauce, spicy pepperoni and fresh cut mushroomsThe salad was fresh, crunchy, and a great balance of vegetables. The dolmades were wonderfully firm and expertly seasonedThis will be our pizza place from now on.Thank you Aden's!"
"I come in a few times a month for lunch and always get the kubideh with half rice and half salad. Everything is is fresh and hot. Soda and fresh pita included. Not sure about the other reviews but for 15 bucks it's good and filling."
"This restaurant is located in Rockville Center. When it is chilly, you can ice skate in the middle of the cluster of shops and eateries. The food is great. The sampler is a great way to try lots of dishes. It would be nice is the customer could choose how many of each item. The cashier forgot to enter my soup with the rest of our orders. I just decided to forget it. The hummus is flavorful. The bread was yummy. The portions are decent. There is a variety of menu items. We lingered at the table. The employees were nice about it. There was a group of approx 8-10 youth that decided to just come in and sit (and cause trouble) without ordering anything. The employee did a great job of politely/firmly asking the group to leave. Street parking is hit or miss. There is a garage around the corner."
"Yum! Stopped in to grab a platter for a late lunch and I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the chicken platter with a side of rice and a salad. Everything was fresh and delicious! It was enough for 1.5 meals so I had some leftovers afterwards. I liked being able to combine everything into the fresh pita they offered with my meal. Also, the inside of the market was so cozy! A few people were in the seating section enjoying sweets and afternoon coffee when I arrived. Felt like your local market to stop in on a rainy afternoon!"
"Finally some excellent hummus and baba! The falafel were fair, better than cava. The chicken was tiny small pieces, not big chunks on a skewer like I expected. I loved the cucumber yogurt dip as well as the tabouli both were so fresh. My husband said the basmati rice & hummus were both delicious but he thought the chicken was dry."
"I have ordered Halal Guys from this location a few times on DoorDash, and overall it's a good option, considering the quality and the price. This is the restaurant that I order from when I have a hankering for crispy gyro meat. The meat here is not thick cut and flabby, and is borderline over cooked, but that is how I like it. Compared with some of the other Gyro places, this one gives the most meat per serving. Also, they have a family deal where you get a huge amount of chicken or Gyro meat with rice and all the fixings to make your own platters at home for a group. It's a very good price for how much food you get and there's a lot more customization available than ordering one of the regular options."
"I remember this place when they were in smaller spot across the street. That was their first location. IMHO, they are 10x better than Mobys. The flavors are so much better and taste homemade. I love their Kubbieh Kabobs. Which is ground beef. Seasoned perfect. I always go for the platter with extra meat on the side. Rice is good. I love the grilled tomatoes. I always ask for extra tzakiki sauce. Yum! Ask for sumac as it will make the flavors pop even more! Then pita bread is made on site. Once in a while, ill treat myself to some baklava. But it's decent. Depends on how it looks.Service is great. I recommend calling ahead if you're getting it to go, they get busy during the lunch rush. They have a location in the Kentlands but this location is better."
"I don't even know where to begin... First, it's good to know that there is a parking garage across the street from the restaurant, BUT beware because it closes at 11 PM. Back to the restaurant... when walking in, the ambiance gave off a homie vibe. It was beautiful! My friends, and I did the tasting experience in the Levant wine, and cocktails. There was so much food, and everything was delicious! I was too busy eating and enjoying life, so I didn't have many pictures. I highly recommend the hummus, karanab (brussel sprouts), short ribs pide (flatbread), and soujouk pide (flatbread), and my favorite cocktail was levant. Our waiter was ADAM. Helpful, funny, charming, and extremely nice. He helped elevate our experience and ensured we were well cared for. Honestly, the entire staff was helpful and friendly. The manager was super sweet as well. If you're thinking about not going to ala, think again! I'll be back."
"Flavorful dishes and friendly service. Got the chicken and veggie tajin with a side of bread ($21) and the haneeth lamb with rice and a side salad ($28). The entrees were zesty and very big portions. The indoor space is just your typical restaurant but the outside dining and hookah area is covered and spacious--perfect for dining al fresco."
"Overall: Fresh food, authentic flavor, great service.Atmosphere: This place is a small Mediterranean supermarket with a few tables for those wishing to dine in. It's not crowded the tables are right next to the window. Food: Everything you order comes straight out of the oven and into your plate, including the bread. They offer a good selection of Mediterranean salads that are very good, healthy, and fresh. The flavor is authentic. Service: This place is great for a group brunch especially when you do family style. The owners are very nice and accommodating and pay special attention to every customer. Verdict: MUST TRY"
"Spicy chicken Shawarma. It's definitely a small hole in the wall location, but they always have delicious food especially the spicy chicken Shawarma!! Never been disappointed."
"This is our go to kabob spot and our five years old favorite "orange chicken" she's been eating the chicken and rice here since she was two! It's her birthday meal every year and everyone we've brought here has been impressed. Not just the flavor and sides but the staff here is unparalleled. You may walk in the door a stranger but you will be greeted like family and always want to come back!! Parking can be tricky... and the nearby lots are almost always packed, but you can wait inside, swing by shilla next door for some pasty deserts, or call ahead (which is what we usually do)."
