"Old timey, high end decor.Wonderful service, quick and attentive.Food arrived quickly and was absolutely divine.10 out of 10 would recommend"
"Really great establishment! I was greeted warmly upon entry. I went with the Fort Washington Waffle with strawberries blueberries and pecans . The smell was amazing. Is that vanilla? Cinnamon? Yes! And brown sugar! It honestly didn't even need the maple syrup."
"Quick service. Good quality for affordable price. Good nearby Japanese cuisine. Good for carry-out. Variety of food on menu."
"This treasure was right by our Airbnb and it was an absolute gem! Friendly service, cute ambiance and decor, and amazing food and drinks. Definitely recommend stopping by, you won't regret it and will make it a staple. They offer an array of breakfast foods, pastries, coffees and fresh juices, so there's something for everyone. There's also a patio area out front and in back!"
"I was traveling in DC and wanted to find a boba tea spot that could cool me down while I avoided the heat. Found Gong Cha to be nearby thanks to Yelp and I knew Gong Cha was an infamous chain. There aren't any close to where I live but I have heard really great things about them! Decided to give it a try. They had street parking available around 2pm on a Saturday and the street isn't very busy. There is a brunch / beer spot next door. When we got to their door, we thought they were closed since their neon Open sign wasn't on. After trying the door, it seemed like they were indeed open. We went in and started looking at their extensive menu. I have recently converted my date into a boba tea drinker so he was definitely looking at all the cool options. We decided on a mango and a milk tea for drinks and ordered their egg waffle with ice cream to cool us down. This came out to about $20. While we waited, we noticed they had board games and a neat photo op wall. Definitely took advantage of that. It's cute! The drinks came out pretty fast and they were so good.I was actually speaking and the next thing I knew the egg waffle dessert was almost all done because he loved it so much. It was his first time trying it too. Definitely will be back!"
"Definitely a vibe. I stopped by after happy hour to grab dinner and I was not disappointed! I got the steak burrito and it was the Takis inside that did it for me. I ordered on a kiosk and food was ready in about 15 minutes. It was full of people but service was still fairly fast. I work in the area so I am looking forward to returning to try more on the menu!"
"Great little neighborhood restaurant. Surprised to see it in such a quiet neighborhood. The omelettes were amazing, had the breakfast burrito as well and that was good as well."
"It was a hot spring day in DC and my friend and I had just finished up eating at Poki DC, which conveniently shares the space with Gong Cha. You can tell that I'm a bubble tea aficionado when I say yes to bubble tea even after having it the day before. Here's the difference: every location will offer you something different. This location caught me with sparkling lychee boba. What in the world?! I took it and I ran with it. Sparkling lychee. Herbal Grass Jelly. Tapioca. *chef's kiss* in 80°F weather. The service was pretty good, you order through a kiosk and wait for your number to be called. Be sure to step away from the counters and the kiosks especially during lunch hour since it gets confusing with both lines going for Poki DC and Gong Cha."

Stopped in this cute and quirky little cafe for an impromptu brunch with my daughter and was all around delighted! We were greeted and seated by two friendly hostesses who found us a table very quickly despite the evident brunch/lunch rush. Another server took our drink orders, and within minutes we received water as well as our hot chocolate and latte. Jenna was our amazing server: sweet, professional, prompt, and responsive! I ordered the veggie omelette, and my daughter got the Belgian waffles. Both of us were completely stuffed and satisfied by the meal, which was hot and tasty. Definitely recommend stopping by here for brunch. They have a full menu and full service bar too!

Came here to celebrate an early birthday. We tested out their brunch menu. It did not disappoint. Both mains and the appetizer were delicious! I would highly recommend either of the three items that we indulged in! The service was slow in the being (they just opened) but picked up towards the end and was great! The decor of the place is super cool! It's definitely a small joint but has enough tables for a good amount of customers! We will return! Food was delicious!

Friendly service always Great drink and food options Clean facilities I'm a returning customer. Today I tried their Landover Acaí bowl and the veggie patty. It was super delicious. I also usually order the Oxon hill smoothie which is another favorite of mine. I definitely recommend these three selections. I look forward to trying other options on the menu.

Sushi is one of my favorite foods and while trying to research new sushi places to dine at, I'm so thrilled to have found out about this cafe/restaurant on Google. Also, whomever designed their logo - isn't it so cute?!Had been eagerly waiting to eat here on a weekend for brunch though always missed my opportunity as they are closed on Sundays. Well, one of my Saturdays opened up and might I say that it was the perfect day! This is truly a hole-in-the-wall type place and very cozy. The name of this cafe couldn't be more accurate -- they feature both an American and Japanese menu.I specifically came for the sushi though this would be a great place to take someone should they have differing tastebuds. Whomever thought of this concept is a genius! What is refreshing, and unlike other places that serve sushi, is that there is no reservation needed nor having to queue up or spend my entire paycheck for wanting to splurge on sushi. You don't have to worry about dressing up in your best attire. None of that here. You can dress comfortably and the prices are very affordable while having a great team of staff members whom are friendly and helpful. Should you need to use the restroom, the staff member will give you a key attached to a wooden spoon to unlock the restroom. The restroom is very clean and spacious. This is truly a hole-in-the-wall dining establishment though evident that this must be a local favorite. Observing whom else was enjoying their meals, there were a wide range of folks dining-in which covered various ethnicities, ages, and gender. They have their menu posted on a sign board to place you order though they also have a paper menu as well. There is also a self-serve water pitcher with cups, where you can serve yourself or choose from any of the variety of beverages for purchase from the beverage cooler. I got the Chirashi Lunch Special which also came with miso soup & salad with ginger dressing while my friend got the Salmon Poke Bowl. It was beautifully arranged and quite delicious. We both loved what we ordered. This dining establishment definitely deserves some more recognition! I'm so honored that I got to eat here. I wish I lived closer! It is rare for me to dine-in at restaurant/cafe regularly though I would back back here every weekend, despite not living particularly close. Time to tell all of my friends about this place and hopefully my friends tell their other friends about this place too. Cannot wait to come back to try the other items on the menu.

So glad I happened to come across this spot while in the area. Service was great, they were great about accommodating our special requests for our drinks. Blue Lavender Latte and Banana Nut Bread were both a 10/10. Literally enjoyed their Banana Nut bread that we brought every piece at the register lolDefinitely recommend, see you there!

Love their bubble tea and smoothies! Especially the piña colada, my bf and I go there every other week after dinner hahaha Though the place is quite small, it's no biggie compared to the yummy beverages u get. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a taco spot with vibrant energy and delicious food, Talkin' Tacos is definitely worth a visit! The decor is bright and neon, which I absolutely loved. The music fits the atmosphere perfectly, adding to the lively vibe. Ordering is done through a machine, and while the process is simple and efficient, I do wish there were more customization options for removing ingredients. The service is impressively fast, and everything came out fresh. The Mystic Lemonade was a refreshing twist--like a half-and-half but without the tea aftertaste, which I really enjoyed. The Birria Pizza was packed with flavor, but wow--soooooo much cheese! As a cheese lover, even I found it a bit overwhelming, but the meat itself had great taste and seasoning.I also really enjoyed the bowl that I ordered especially since I'm a huge fan of edible bowls. For dessert, the churros were warm, soft, and slightly crisp on the outside. They were even better when dipped in the strawberry and crème-- this is definitely a must-try!Lastly, the Tajin and Chamoy gummies were quite an experience! They had a unique, interesting taste--definitely something worth trying at least once.Overall, I had a great time, and the food was really good. I would absolutely go back to try more items, especially with friends. If you're in the area definitely check it out!

"It's ok when you need a boba fix. Not the best but the only boba spot nearby. It's pretty pricey for what it is. I would have given four stars, but they use those stupid tip machines and the minimum is 20 percent and they calculate it POST tax."
"After mass at Saint Joseph's, my wife and I stopped in for lunch. I had the borscht soup combo with ham and cheese crêpe. My wife had a salad with tuna. The price was reasonable, and the borscht was the best I have ever had. Friendly staff, Quick and easy to sit and eat. Will definitely go back."
"This is chocolate, hazelnut, and brown sugar. This is a mellow creamy coffee with the perfect nutty sweet combination. They have a variety of unique flavors that are not too crazy but fun drinks. The chocolate chunk cookie is another treat and full of flavor and the right texture of not too soft and gooey.Great vibe, I will definitely add this to my list of places to come back and enjoy my ."
"I went here for Halloween with my 14 and 5 year old. It was perfect because we sat in the restaurant portion, but had a lounge bar vibe complete with a very delicious mocktail drink for me (orange crush) and strawberry lemonade for the kids. The music was very night club live DJ vibes loud, but it was so much fun! The menu items looked great, so we will come back again to taste. I was so grateful to the server for allowing us to be in that space because I was not sure if I could even be in there with my kids. I danced wearing my day of the dead mask with my 5 year old and my teen had fun watching. We were all highly entertained by the music! Downstairs they had an anime party for grown ups, my daughter was dressed up as an anime character and my son was Blippie, which is how I found out about the event on eventbrite."
"Great to see another Vietnamese opening up in the Clarendon neighborhood. Tried both of their Combination Pho and Bun Bo Hue, both tasted great. They are a bit more expensive than 4 sister around the corner and Pho 75 in court house but their Pho quality is way better than both. I did back to back comparison on the same day and their soup has significantly richer taste and most importantly they have better quality beef cuts in the pho. They gave you a generous quantity of meat in the pho and their beef and brisket cuts tasted great and are not dried up and tough like pho 75 and 4 sisters. I am happy to pay a little bit more for better quality pho here. This is now my go to Vietnamese Pho place in this area."
"Best egg and cheese sandwich around, by far. Ginger coffee has a great kick to it. Everything is made fresh and is delicious. Love this little place!"
"The juice had the consistency of a smoothie, very slushy. I loved it! There were plenty of options to pick from the menu. What made the most impression is that I came in close to closing time without realizing it. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, she didn't rush anything so she could close. There's one tiny area to sit that's cozy. It's a very small space, but if you needed just a moment to sit down, there's a place for you to do so. The location is conveniently across the street from Howard University's Small Business Development Center. Great place, I will be coming back again!"
"This is such a cute spot and they make some amazing smoothies. I'd read that they had good smoothies and they did not disappoint. Now when I'm in the area I make sure to stop here and get one."
"This was my first time going to this restaurant. I've heard mixed reviews about this place but nonetheless wanted to give the restaurant a shot. I ordered the Butter Chicken with a garlic naan bread, and both were very tasty. It also came with rice which was also just as great. The cashier was very nice and respectful. And atmosphere of the place was my kind of vibe. My only regret was that I didn't eat in, because I was in a rush. Good experience I had, will definitely come again."
"Was looking for something good in the DuPont area and stumbled across rueben's. It wasn't too busy so I was hesitant and checked on reviews which were good... so went in to try. We had the guacamole & chips which were both home made and very good! My mom had the grilled chicken tacos which were yummy and my husband had a big burrito... he loved it. I had the beef birria tacos which were loaded with so much meat I was able to only finish one. The sauce was so good and flavorful. We tried each of the salsas and rueben's hot sauce was my favorite... only two to three drops was all it took. Spicy but great. We found out from the owner that they have others in Baltimore which we will certainly as we are leaving DC and moving to MD. Glad we got a pre iré of very good and authentic Mexican food!! Service was attentive too. Everything was served on disposables which I quickly got ove. They are working on their liquor license but pretty soon cold beer to go with your tacos!! Totally recommend!!"
"Great neighborhood cafe! Their organic coffee and matcha options are delicious. We will certainly be back!"
"Ordered online trying to save time. Thought my drink would include boba since it's the same price as another drink with boba. It did not. My fault. At pickup asked if I could just buy boba. Explained to staff that I messed up while ordering. Staff gave me the look of "go fuck yourself" and told me no. Can't just buy some boba. There's no button for that. Tea was fine. Won't go back."
"My first visit to Charley's. I have the #1 cheesesteak combo and the sandwich was amazing! Great fries also! I am planning to go back and try their wings and milkshakes. Just opened 3 days ago, but service was fast and friendly."
"I've had a lot of pho from west coast to east coast . I wasn't theroughly impressed about this one . Pho broth lacked flavor . Spring rolls weren't anything special . Cashier barely spoke any English there boba was probably what saved me from another negative review. They definitely use some improvement . the potential is definitely there."
