"If you are sharing, do yourself a favor and at least get the bakers dozen, these were delicious. I only got six, walked around and ate them and came back for six more. Try and get them when they are making a new batch they are amazing warmOut the oven. I tried the chocolate chip , snicker doodle and oatmeal raisin and they were all really soft and very tasty. Service was friendly and made our orders with a smile."
"La Tingeria in Falls Church is an awesome spot that truly shines with its taco offerings. Despite its small size and limited seating, the cozy atmosphere only adds to its appeal! The menu is a taco lover's dream, featuring a selection that caters to a range of tastes. From the juicy carne asada to the perfectly spiced al pastor, each taco is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The variety of salsas and toppings available ensures you can customize your tacos to your liking! The service is friendly and efficient, though the small space means it can get busy--so be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times. All in all, La Tingeria delivers a memorable taco experience that's well worth a shot!"

"This Jamaiican Food Place is open late nights in Washington, DC. They have a food truck as well. We came here at 12a-1a to order food for a family member. The parking is challenging as there is a club within 20 feet of the restaurant. Once we found street parking, we walked up to a line of about 15 people outside then about 15 more inside. This is a good sign; people willing to wait for authentic Jamaican Food. After standing in line for 20-25mins, we ordered with the 1 person taking orders. Then, we waited another 20mins for the food to be ready. There is no room inside the establishment to sit down while you wait for your food to be ready. We got back to our place and the family member started when they realize that it just wasn't as flavorful as the truck. The feedback is that the food truck food was well marinated well seasoned and cooked much better. Also, the full menu is not available mWe will stick to the food truck version of this place. It is nice that they have a stand up restaurant as well, but we prefer to have the good stuff for the prices we paid. TIP: The full menu is not available for late night dining, only about 4 select items."
"My friends and I came here for lunch before heading to Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour and we left very impressed. The 'Dominator' combo was A1. The shrimp salad, crab fries, and crabcake sandwich were fye! Do be aware that they serve a different connotation of shrimp salad than you might be expecting. The shrimp salad they serve here isn't cold shrimp with mayonnaise and celery (etc.), but rather fried shrimp on top of lettuce. Regardless, as I said, their food is fye. Especially when washed down one of their delicious guava Arnold Palmers. Baby the food was so good I had to order a second entrée to take home (Their Shrimp Po Boy). I was really impressed with their service. They go above and beyond here. I have a friend with a fish allergy so they couldn't have anything that was fried in the same grease as fish, and the chef personally came out to talk to my friend and custom-made his 'Dominator' with a broiled crabcake and loaded crabby mashed potatoes to make sure there was no cross-contamination of fish. We greatly appreciated that. All in all, Crab Cab is must must-try seafood spot in NOVA with bomb food and amazing service."
"I've been to this food truck twice this week. I've never visited the brick and mortars, though I'm excited to check them out.I love the Asian inspired, mix of veggies. There's something for everyone: chicken, spicy pork. tofu and steak. They even serve burrito bowls now with sesame rice. I'm usually a bit squeamish about meat on a food truck, but everything came together well. Spicy mayo, spicy pineapple and angry naraja are available sauces amongst others and I get them all.. what can I say? I'm a sauce person. Check them out if you're a Chipotle lover, but want a twist. WARNING: It's not Chipotle!Tips: Check foodtruckfiesta.com to see where they are. 3 tacos (corn meal or flour) are $8.90 (total plus tax) A burrito bowl is $9 (without tax)"
"This place only having 4 stars on yelp is wack. They deserve all the stars. From the lady who took our orders to the customizable meal, we loved every part. Inside has great music, a giant window and plants. There's only about 20 seats but we found a spot to sit with no problem. Bonus points for plain cheese quesadilla for a picky kid. Bonus bonus points for every bite being delicious. Will be back!"
"I arrived before opening, but he was able to cook up the most tender chicken pita I have ever had. The chicken was seasoned with Curry and was just perfect. Added fresh vegetables and feta with hot sauce and a creamy ranch. Just awesome. He really loves his job and cares about customer satisfaction. I would definitely eat there again, I highly recommend Tasty Kabob."
"Got a chance to check out this wonderful food joint during my day trip to DC & wasn't disappointed. I had the Rice Bowl with Pork & i have to say it was very very delicious. The depth of flavors was present, meat very moist & flavorful, thinly shredded. The owner (Louie) stopped by to check on the food to make sure everything is OK & gave us complimentary fried avocados & a free Yelp check-in taco..!! Not disappointed at all. The freshness of the avocados was greatly enhanced with the depth of the Chipotle sauce!Everything made from scratch & no short cuts, which shows in the flavor profile.Look forward to the new menu & expansion coming up! Good luck guys."
"I love Peruvian brothers! They have a stand by Union market. I like taking selfies with the fake "mascot" Llamas. Sometimes real ones stop by. The food is delicious."
"birria tacos are fabulous! Loved the chicharrones were huge! Dishwasher is really cute too! Decor is great! Would love to have artist paint a mural for me!"
"Flavor Hive has been going viral on social media and they recently came up to Maryland for a special one-night event, so we bundled up the baby and got ready for what was sure to be a long line. Friends, we somehow still underestimated how long the line would be.They have been famous for doing a halal bowl in any bag of chips you bring to them, with their viral videos showing folks bringing snack sized chips and full sized chips and boxes of salad and even more out-there things like boxes of donuts...??? I brought a regular (full size not snack size) bag of jalapeno kettle chips to share with my partner and our friend got salad green boxes so we got one of those as well. The line was looong and there were 2 which confused a lot of folks. I think our line was for the bag of chips special and maybe bowls, whereas the other line was just the standard menu but no to the bags of chips? We waited almost an hour and a half, shoutout to all the babies and toddlers who were in the line in the cold totally confused. There was a decent delay for our line, and the other line didn't seem to move much faster, but things were moving relatively well when I got to the front so I wonder if they were restocking or something while I was waiting.Because the line is so huge, I'll be real with you, if you are not prepared by the time you get to the front, you will be facing some pretty brusque folks who don't want you to hold up the line. A guy was taking orders down the line so that there was no delay in ordering with the guys cooking, with you getting to tell them the options with sauces, toppings, etc. However, they were very kind to us and the girl in front of us who wanted no meat (!) in her bag.I also wasn't really sure how the pricing worked. In their videos, they say it's $10 to get any size bag of chips made into a walking bowl, and their website I think indicated it's $14 for the combo meat (chicken + beef + gyro) but we were charged $17 for each chips bag. For how much food we got -- that bag of chips gets HEFTY -- this seemed fair, but I can understand folks being a bit confused if they came for the $10 deal they saw on Tiktok. Was it delicious?YEAH yeah it was pretty delicious actually. What a dangerous way to just eat an entire bag of chips as a meal hahahaThere is a lot of delicious flavor packed in, and even as leftovers (there was no way we would be able to finish with how generously they scooped in the food) it was really really delicious. I would happily get Flavor Hive again but I will NOT wait in a line like this again and I probably won't do the chips again for a while. Their regular offerings seem really tasty but the novelty of the chips deal is fun and worth trying out!"
"It's okay for overpriced "ok" food. The Yams had too much vanilla extract and the mac n cheese had too much egg. I ended up throwing it out. They do wingettes not wings, just wanna point that out there. The guys were sitting outside posted up lol. I probably won't go back. The place was empty. Service was good, no complaints, I cook so I know what's bomb and what ain't lls."

Wasn't familiar with the area so didn't realize this was actually inside Western Market. There is no signage to indicate that it's Captain Cookie from the inside. There were only 2 employees working when we went, wasn't impressed with the customer service or the food.We got the strawberry ice cream sandwich and it was too gooey, meaning the cookie was soft but the ice cream wasn't hard. The ice cream sandwich itself was meh, could barely taste the strawberry.

Really good tacos, in a funky spot in Falls Church. We tried the beef birreia, Al pastor, and chicken tinga tacos, and the elote, rice and beans. I think we tried all of the salsas/hot sauces they offered. Everything was excellent!! We walked in and ordered right away, the cashier was very friendly. There are only a few tables but we were able to grab one after a few minutes. It's a fun, casual place to grab a few tacos, in future I'd probably grab them to go.

So I'll say that as someone who originally ate at the H street location, this was a blessing to still have around after the fire. I will like to mention that I loveeee Jerk At Nite. But I will also say that I don't like the inconsistency of the food here at times (some days it's cold, some days it's hot) and the parking is always atrocious. Overall I would rate this spot as this:Customer service: 5/10 : not the friendliest but I order to-go so this doesn't bother me. However, a smile or 2 wouldn't hurt every now and then. Jerk box w/ Mac: 7.5/10: this is NOT your typical Mac and cheese but I love it for what it is. It's creamy, spicy and has a Caribbean twist to it. Jerk chicken is always good. Just hate they charge for sauce when it's barely on the chicken at first. Di Yardie: 7/10 : pretty standard rice and peas. Cabbage is just okay so we typically get double rice. Beef Patties: 6/10 : it hits the spot when I'm craving a beef patty. This is not authentic Jamaican you would get back in JA but that's stated on their page. Their own flair is what makes it so good!!

I freaking love myself some tacos, especially some Asian Fusion tacos. Talk about heaven. This place isn't the most amazing Mexican, but for the 8 dollar price for 3 tacos and personalize your own taco factor, this makes a great lunch spot! Also, just because you can combine almost everything together--that won't make a good taco! Trust your gut!! Personally loved the chicken and steak - cooked tenderly and compliments the other toppings they serve with nice savory spices on the meat. On the other hand, I tried doing the tofu, and it just didn't do it for me!! Sounds sexy when you put sexy right in front of the word tofu, but it didn't taste sexy or make me feel sexy, so I would not suggest this not sexy tofu (oops double negative). In terms of sauces, the spicy mayo and #15 are really great and the salsa Roja is not as spicy as I would have liked it to be, but still good. The sweet pineapple is a good concept but did not go well with my taco, think it will go better with steak than chicken! Also, I suggest mixing slaws together and especially getting corn with your taco. The cheesy lime crema is a hit or miss to be honest so I suggest getting this at your own risk! Overall, this truck is really fast and CLEAN!!! Glad they go to different areas in DC as well!!

I've been to Far East Taco Grille once before, but I don't remember it being so good. I got the Chicken Rumble Fries and they were great!! Now, I've got to find reasons to get to that side of town more often!!

On my way to union station with a few co-workers on this rainy day today. We were ready to brave out the rain when I noticed the Tasty Kabob truck sitting outside the front of the building. I said "hey people, why don't we just grab food here!". There was 8 of us and we ordered a pretty large variety of food. Last time I was at the truck I remembered getting the chicken over rice with chickpeas and spinach (which as also delicious). I decided to go for something different this time and opted for the chicken pita. I was not disappointed!! This was amazing. If you are super hungry, spend the $9.00 and you'll be really satisfied with the chicken and rice platter. If you are looking for a hefty sandwich, spend the $7.00 and the chicken pita is delicious. The only thing is that I wish the Chicken Pita sandwich came with some fries or a little side of chickpeas or something. Like a small plastic containers worth to add a little variety.Next time this truck is outside my building, I'll be back!

So... I'm addicted... to the Rib Rito. I admit it. I have a problem. There is just something about that overstuffed tortilla...wrapped and filled beyond capacity with hot and juicy rib meat. There is just enough pico de gallo for flavor with little of the useless filler that you'll find in your average, everyday burrito...as these are exceptional for sure. With every bite of this luscious roll of meatiness, I tell myself it will be the last...but the enticing flavor just tempts to take just one more bite...then another...then another...and then another...until there is nothing left but some fresh tortilla chips - now left all alone in their container.Withdrawal starts as soon as the flavor of that last bite fades...but, by that time, the Rito Loco Truck is long gone...Try it if you dare. But be warned, you may get hooked too!

"No frills food truck on a park off Rhodes street. We live nearby, so come here from time to time. I wasn't blown away by the tacos but absolutely love the burrito, which we typically split. The carne asada is my favorite. They have some portable tables you can eat at or grab a seat at a park bench and watch some dogs play."
"I wish this place was closer to me because I really loved their Lengua tacos![Food: 4 of 5]Lengua Tacos- 5 of 5.. I mean.. Lengua tacos are my all time favorite tacos. These meat pieces were bigger than what you would typically get at *generic taco shop* - and they were soo juicy. I ordered 2 tacos that came out to a little over $7, to me, that's definitely worth it.Al Pastor Tacos - 1 of 5 - I really did not enjoy this taco at all. And..that's all I'll say about that.Carne Asada con queso - 5 of 5- I have never had flour tortilla tacos served with cheese! I honestly was taken aback when they asked if I wanted this with cheese or not. Eaten fresh, it's super toasty with the cheese melting and oozing. Even when we let the taco sit there for awhile and cheese had hardened, it still tasted so good.Pupusas con friojles y queso- 5 of 5 - The pupusas was nice and hot- The pupusa was over filled with beans (not that I'm complaining) - I wish the sauces given were spicy or had a kick (I love spicy). The pickled vegetables for the pupusas were fresh and tangy, paired very will with thier pupusa.Drinks: I did not get their frescas but they offered tamarind, horchata and... one more flavor but I can't remember. They had a large variety of sodas in their cooler, including Pepsi Zero products which I thought were awesome.[Service: 5 of 5]The person who helped us at the register was so friendly and helpful. He let us know about the Taco Tuesday deals and offered ice to us with our soda since it wasn't cold. [Ambiance: 3.5 of 5?] The place was very small, like maybe it was a mom and pop shop? It was just the kitchen and then 1 small table for 2 and a bar along the window with some stools. The place did not have a public bathroom (which kind of sucked for me, because I drove over an hour to come here and reeally needed to use it). There was no music playing when I went, so it was kind of nice just listening to the hussle and bussle of the stoves, and the chitter chatter of the guests at the restaurants. I hope to one day venture out to this part of MD again so that I could try "the best nachos in MD" and to get some more lengua tacos!"
"This place has been hidden right under my nose til recently. All the times I've been hungry and around the Bethesda metro station had I just went up the stairs I'd have found the solution. This is a permanent food truck located on top of Bethesda metro station, next to the Hyatt Starbucks. They do have limited hours, between 11am and 3pm Monday thru Friday, but their customer service is what sets them apart. I get out of work at 3, and they encourage people to call ahead and as long as you place the order before 3, you can pick it up and pay for about another half hour to hour while they clean up and close up. The people working are super nice, and the portions are good for the price. I tried the shwarma and the only negative thing I could say is i wish i had a second side of taziki but I know for next time, when I come back for the gyro."
"They came through for me! The food trucks are delivering food too. Very convenient. The food was so good, they had me eating the radishes...... Very good option for those who are dairy free like me."
"ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!The lechon is melt in your mouth with crispy skin cracklin. The Chinese pork is sweet and savory and the smoke taste is amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!"
"Jerk at Nite was a lovely experience in the city.To set the scene, it's on a corner unit on the H street block, and there's a to-go station that is outdoors.Parking was decent, I parked in the neighborhood and my friend found parking across the street. There is not really a fleshed out waiting area, so considering the busy nature of the restaurant, you're going to be a bit awkward, either waiting in your car, waiting in the cold, or standing up in the limited space in the restaurant. Our server was quick to share her perspectives on the dishes we inquired about, and showed pride in how jerk at nite differentiated themselves from other food spots. Now, to the meat and potatoes (pun intended)Me and a friend both got the tropical punch, along with a water. The tropical punch had a layered taste to it- you could definitely taste the passion fruit, mango and more. For both my friend and I, we agreed it was a little watery. It felt like either the result of a syrup based drink, or, a jungle juice type drink where there's ice in the jug, and it melts over time. I didn't think it was too big of a deal, as the degree of watery-ness didn't ruin it. 5/10The Mac & Cheese is an extremely affordable appetizer for the size of dish that you receive. There were 5 people in our party, and we were easily able to split two dishes of the Mac & cheese at $13 a piece. It was extremely seasoned (in a good way), and it didn't have a nasty consistency about it, which is my complaint with a lot of Mac & cheese's. 10/10.The jerk chicken pasta was seasoned TO THE GODS. The sauce was prevalent, but not overwhelming, and the cheese was a nice touch. There even was a kick of spice to each bite. 8/10.I didn't order the tacos, however, the tortilla has a nice char on it, which I appreciate. It didn't fall apart with each bite, and there were enough ingredients within each taco that you're getting a combination of flavors with each bite.Be careful- there was a 18% gratuity included automatically on our check, and our server didn't go out of her way to point it out. One of our friends ended up paying $10 extra, on top of the service charge. That and the tropical punch was the only reason I give Jerk at Nite on H street: 4/5 Stars."
"Probably one the most under rated food truck in the area. The Nachos and Tacos are amazing. Check them out"
"So the rain finally went away at least for today on this very nice hot Sunday! I have been wanting these ribs allllll this week. It's been 3 years, or will be Thursday of next week, but anywho 3 YEARS! And I'm still a fan. You can never go wrong when the food is great and the customer service is excellent.Smoke stack is now conveniently located across the street from the #Census Bureau.... Lunch anyone? Right down the street from the Suitland Metro Station. They are in the old Rite Aid parking lot as if you weren't able to follow the delicious smell. A great location to pick up dinner on your way home. There is ample parking as there's an entire private parking lot. Easily Metro accessible.New loyalty program where your food could be free! Stop by, have a great meal and enjoy!"
"Best burrito best service A+++++++ soft I get burritos here every week for my son and I and it's just the greatest place. I'm so thankful for Chero!"
"Peruvian Brothers is not a hotel-only restaurant. They are a fastish-food place, a bit of a chain, a bit modern, so I'm not convinced they're fully authentic. But I enjoyed the meal experience overall. We went up to order and there is a digital kiosk. As my friend was entering his order, one of the employees said I could place my order directly with him. Perfect! All set with my chicken saltado, asked about the option for noodles but that would have replaced the potatoes and rice and I didn't want to do that. Before my dinner came out, another guy came over to me to explain they were out of white rice. Is yellow rice okay? Pro tip: Ask for yellow rice instead of rice. It's excellent, with veggies mixed in. Phenomenal with the spicy sauce, or if you're not a spice hound, the green sauce.Upon going back up to the counter to pick up my food (called by name if you order in the kiosk, buzzed if you order in person: Meat was good. Maybe a little light on chicken, but a satisfying meal overall. You see my friend got gigantic empanadas, but you pay more than other places for that bigger size. As for the taste, I'm not sure. The crust is good, not perfect, but the little bits of meat I tried seemed a bit sweet and light on fragrant herbs and spices. I didn't have a full empanada myself so I can't confirm, but the beef seemed better than the chicken and he agreed. The ceviche looked really good, comes with corn kernels of both huge and crisp varieties (that and a bit of the sauce is all I tried). So it goes back to - how Peruvian is this? How much do you want a sit-down meal vs. a counter order? Do you want a dark ambiance or a bright modern one? For now, and with my friend's repeated enjoyment, I will award a solid 4 stars and see if that changes should we return."
"ORDER NOW! This food truck came by my apartment complex and navy yard, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! Had their vegan double and babyyyyyyy! It was filling and I didn't even notice there was no meat - and the PEPPER SAUCE! I'm an African girl so the spice level is high but goodness the herbs and spices were AMAZING! The chickpeas are soft, luscious, delicious, and flavorful! I am just blown away by the flavors and speediness of the app with ordering and picking up the order in a hassle free way. Definitely check this food truck out!"
"Incredible and authentic tacos from a taco truck in downtown Bethesda. Everything is delicious and can't go wrong here! Highlights include squash blossom tacos and fish tacos and freshly made juices. It's very popular at lunch time so the food can take longer to be ready. Service is great. There is a park kitty corner to the market area with picnic tables and a big public parking lot. Highly recommended!"
"Haute dogs was quick, delicious, and fancier than expected. The owners were very kind and patient and made great conversation. The space was cozy but spacious. We had the Fenway, Bombshell, and Plus the dog with a side of Garlic Parmesan fries. It was delicious and the ingredients were so fresh!"
"Small family business I discovered out of pure luck!!! I wanted a beef patty so bad and they didn't disappoint!!! Very moist, flaky and flavorful. So glad I decided to take a chance, it's always the spot you least expect to surprise you! Hubby got the curry chicken and I helped eat it haha it's that good! Will definitely be back!"
"I'm always looking for a good food truck. It's been awhile, so I was excited to see this one parked and ready to serve.Me and my gal pals decided to check out The Chili Jefe while spending the day at Romano Vineyard & Winery [see separate review for details]. What I got:SOUR CREAM & ONION WINGS - There were so many good options, but this one stood out to me. Bangin'! So good. Crispy and saucy, just the way I like my wings.HONEY OLD BAY WINGS: I tried one of my friend's wings. Sooo good. Will absolutely, positively add that to my next order.SEASONED FRIES - Plentiful! All three of us could have shared them. Well-seasoned, but not too salty. If you see them parked, definitely pull up!PARKING: N/ASERVICE: PoliteOPTIONS: SuitablePRICE: Fair__I eat. @f.huxI thrift. @DCthriftish"
"Congratulations on the expansion from the food truck! I'm very familiar with the quality of service and food because I supported the food truck on Tuesdays at Judiciary Square. I live 5 minutes away from your establishment now & have placed orders through Uber Eats. The food is just as delicious as I remember it. I wish you continued success!"
"Got take out from here...didn't expect much, but it was unexpectedly good! I had the chicken over rice - big portions, good flavor."
"Highly recommend!! Huge portions, amazing flavor. Picnic table was nice and clean. Plenty of parking. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back."
"Great fresh food. Always great service and selection. Ozzy makes a killer omelette.. Veteran approved"
"They are open late, 1am -ish depending on the weather and the demand. The food is cooked fresh, and they do not skimp on ingredients. I was really surprised with how good it all was. Some would expect a negative intestinal reaction to a roadside taco stand in the back of a pickup, but quite the contrary. My system has embraced it, a burrito the size of a newborn, and like that new life, adores it. I frequently find it difficult to find fault in restaurants. I met two hard working people who put their heart and soul into creating wonderful food. It is to be commended."
"Great bagel, good prices, quick and fast service. We ordered the traditional Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and the Lox bagels. They were both hearty and a good portion for the price!"
"Just for reference, the location of this food truck is at 200 Florida Ave, NW, Washington DC. We tried this place via the TooGoodToGo app (an app to help save food waste!) So glad this was our first place to try using this app, since we were late and the food truck owner was super nice! We called her knowing we were running late since we came across a car crash on George Washington Memorial highway. She was totally understanding and friendly about it even tho normally she closes at 7pm. We got there around 7:15 and waited for a little bit before getting our surprise bag :) What we ended up getting was a meal filled with delicious fries and wings! I'm not sure what the sauce was, but it was sweet and yummy! Feels extra good to be decreasing food waste while trying out a new and delicious food place!"
"I got some takeout from here when we stopped at the gas station here to get gas. Service was quick, and prices and portions are reasonable. I got the combo with chicken, beef, and falafel. Everything was seasoned great, and you have the option for spicy sauce or just the white sauce (taziki) This is definitely a good choice if you're in the area in need of a quick filling meal."
