"Ordered the "Chicken Fricassee " w/ white meat only plus rice & peas ... it's plenty of delicious food ! I mean it's really delicious! It comes with some kind of dipping sauce (liquid) which adds a savory kick ! We buy from Negril somewhat often & will definitely be back! My mom got the curried chicken dinner w/ rice/peas and light cabbage ! She's full , quiet and very happy indeed ! Mission accomplished Negril!"
"Just an amazing Jewish Deli in downtown DC.with a ton of food options in this area this is one the best places to eat.Food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, staff is friendly, and it is not too loud even when full."

"Service: Meh. It takes a long time almost every time I go to get servedFood: I always get the snow crab special with medium spice and the boom. I get extra sausage. It's good to me. I would say 8/10 which is enough for me to go back. Ambiance: if you wanna watch a game this is a great place to come. It looks like a sports bar. Love the Virginia location more but this isn't bad"
"What a beautiful, YUMMY, elevated new space! A great new addition to Tyson's! This location is absolutely stunning, I love the attention to detail from the uniforms in the restaurant and the fancy PJ's in the cafe. The interior is definitely a vibe. If you come here for a casual coffee, lunch date or fancy dinner this place has it all. And you can tell the owners poured their heart and soul into this space. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I love that you can have any menu in any location inside the restaurant. Definitely coming back soon.JJJ"
"I don't know if this is a new restaurant or just a hidden gem, but I am glad I found this spot. I have already picked up twice from here in the past two weeks because it's that good.I plan to dine inside next time because the interior is clean and seems fun. But I would recommend carry out or dine in because the food is that good. The rice, veggies, and meat are all delicious. Both times I have come in the workers have been very helpful at getting my order ready so I old assume the done in service is excellent as well. Very good spot - highly recommend! I am excited to try their special dessert next time."
"Stopped by here late night with a group of friends. They have an upstairs rooftop area, as well as the main level where all of the karaoke rooms are. You can reserve the private karaoke rooms for your group, or partake in karaoke publicly on the main level. Both levels have bars. I ended up ordering both cocktails and light bites while we were here. The drinks were just okay, and the same for the food. Apparently they have some sort of unlimited seafood boil special, but I'm not sure this is the place where I would want to try that. Anyhow, this is an okay spot if you have a large group and are looking for some entertainment"
"The food was delicious! I haven't had fried okra in 30 years and this was just as tasty and crispy as I remembered! The peach cobbler is in a small container that I doubt was made on site, but I could make two servings out of it and it was also delicious! I ordered online and it was ready for pick up when I got there. The one guy there was nice. It is a small place that I am not sure is considered a place to dine, but for takeout it is great!"
"I wiuld honestly say that this place used to be better.Making a reservation on a weeknight, I was told that novtables were available at 6:39 pn. Only 6:15 snd 6:45 were available. This turned out to be compketely untrue (we came at 6:15 and the place was still largely empty by 6:30 pm).Our waiter was impossible to understand . He raced through the specials and we had to ask him to repeat them several times.Formely the menu had a lot of choices . This is now down to just a handful. This would be okay if they were all exceptional, but alas, no. I had the pasta special (large sized pasta filled with cheese), which was mushy and overcooked. The waiter had recommended it saying "we rarely make this," and now i understand why.The salads used to be splittable, but alas no more. We had barely a mouthful each with the ceasar and it had nothing hinting at anchovy in it.I would say the prices here remain on the high side for Italian but for tge life of me I dont know ehy. This place used to be a special treat for us, but in its present incarnation, I'm not sure we'll even go back."
"Stopped in from the airport tonight for a quick bite. The chicken shawarma wrap was excellent. The meat was fresh and the green sauce that comes on the side was just the right amount of flavor to spice things up. Very friendly and accommodating service. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. I'm looking forward to trying the beef and gyro meats to see where they stack up, on future visits."
"I've tried the curry goat, escovitch and fricassee chicken. All have been amazing, food Is fresh and employees are friendly. I like the touch of care they provide by letting me see the food prior to putting in the Togo bag."
"This place is located in Chinatown, inside the building that houses Regal theater & a side entrance to Capital One Arena (just passed Clyde's Restaurant). Chinatown metro is a block away. The pub serves sandwiches, fries and burgers. It was reworked after the previous restaurant closed. This is a perfect spot to visit before or after seeing a movie. (If you want a more upscale date, visit Clyde's)The space is also used for events. There is a dance floor, tables for board games and video games."
"If you're ever visiting the Wharf in DC, or want a sweet treat, Southwest Soda Pop Shop is definitely a stop worth making!Southwest Soda Pop Shop is a black-owned and operated business located in a hip container shop across from the seafood market at the Wharf. In addition to ice cream and shakes, you can find lite snacks and desserts. Everything was made from scratch and the strawberry shake I had had chunks of fresh strawberries in it!All-in-all this is a great stop for some old-fashion ice cream."

Negril never disappoints! My go to dish is the curried shrimp but I also enjoy the variety of rotis. The patties are tasty and make a great snack. The curried veggies are delicious. The coco read is amazing (why don't I jut buy a half dozen to have the bread on hand for breakfast!). The rum cake is the perfect ending to any Negril meal -- tasty and not too sweet. The staff is always pleasant, too!

let's start with the positive - the meats (tried corned beef and brisket) were tasty. Sliced thin and piled on the sandwiches.but everything else is a mess. they're still new so may give them another shot down the line, but the experience was very hectic. placed an order online at 1pm on a sunday - quoted 30 minutes. arrived 10 minutes early and was told there were 5 orders ahead of mine. received the "order ready" text at 45 minutes, but the employees couldn't find the order so they fired another, which was ready 60 minutes after ordering. The place was packed, literally no seats available, and every dine-in order was taking over 60 minutes. The staff were disorganized, all working from one screen display showing all orders. the pickle bar was 80% empty, and the containers that had pickles in them, also had the tongs that are handled by every customer submerged in them. The pickle bar was not refilled once during the 40 minutes we waited. For the food - the reuben was decent. a ton of corned beef, and didn't get much flavor from the other components (thousand island, kraut, swiss, rye). the bread was sliced thin and as a result, soggy. The jewish cheesesteak was better - a steak and cheese with cole slaw and russian dressing. hot pepper cheese got lost, as did the fried onions. bread was ok, soft roll. tried three flavors of rugelach - none stood out, all were on the sweeter side, and texture was pretty hard overall. the sugar cookie was nice, firm on the bottom but soft inside and not too sweet.

I can't say I am a seafood boil connoisseur but the boil here is the most flavorful I have had so far. The prices are reasonable. I got a pound of shrimp and added half a pound of sausage which came to $25 and some change. They add automatic gratuity (had a table of 4 people) which is understandable. However, I wasn't impressed with the service. We went on a Thursday night which it was pretty busy and lively. Our server kept trying to mentally take down our orders without writing it down but then he would have to ask us again what we each ordered. Needless to say, the service was pretty slow. He was nice but he also forgot to give us the basics, like everything lol, the gloves, aprons, buckets. He eventually realized he did have it when we brought it to his attention. He quickly brought them to the table. If you live in DC it's a bit of a ways out. Almost a 40 minute drive but it was worth it. The area is a bit sketch at night. It's in shopping center and the night we went there were police hanging out in the parking lot. Not sure if it's a good or bad thing lol but as for the food, it was great. I would mostly take out from there the next time but I also wouldn't mind dinning in, I would just go at a time that was less crowded.

4.5 - glamorous restaurant with tasty food! We had a wonderful time here. Food and drinks were beautifully presented and delicious, and the atmosphere was excellent. The interior design was cozy, cute and elegant. We sat in the main dining room, but were able to order from the Floré cafe, too, which offers a separate brunch menu. I got the strawberry, banana, and nutella crepe from the dessert menu, which was so pretty and yummy! We also got the sisters fried rice, beef drunken noodles, spicy eggplant with tofu, chicken satay, curry puffs, and moo grob basil. All were really good, except for the moo grob basil, which was overcooked, dry, and hard to chew. It was disappointing, because the moo grob basil at their mosaic location is fantastic. Highly recommend their curry puffs - they're so addictive! The only other critique is that their service could've been more refined. Our server wasn't mean, but she could've been friendlier, considering the higher price point of the food and sophisticated ambiance. On the other hand, the food came out quickly and the staff were attentive. I thought the entire restaurant was executed very nicely, and I can't wait to come back! Sure, the prices are a bit steep, but you're paying for the entire package: a fun ambiance with beautiful, tasty food. I think it's worth it! Sisters Tysons instantly became one of our favorites.

4.5 stars rounded up. Excellent service. The food was pretty good but a bit too much rice and not enough meat for my taste. But otherwise the food was pretty nice. Their bread/naan is heavenly when it's warm. Their signature dessert sheeryakh is both light and perfect amount of sweet. The layout is actually pretty nice as the tables feel spread out and you can see them cook.

OMG I enjoyed Ginza so much! I came here for a friend birthday and it was about 11 of us. I believe we went on a weekday.. or maybe it was a Sunday lol either way the place was not as packed- which we enjoyed. The ambiance is very chill and casual. The FOOD! We did the unlimited seafood package and y'all we had a time. There was so much food on the table. You would think unlimited food? Unlimited seafood boil... that might be trash. But NO.. it was SOOO GOOD. I actually enjoyed ALL of the dishes. Our entire group had no complaints. We also visited during happy hour so that was good. After we finished, we went downstairs for some Karaoke, which is always fun. I would definitely recommend this place and I do plan on going back.

Wow! Hip Hop Fish & Chicken in Glenarden is serving up some piping hot fried chicken and it's DELICIOUS! I was first introduced to this franchise a few months ago when someone purchased it for a party I attended and I was pretty impressed. Well, fast forward to recent days and we decided to get some for an impromptu dinner and it was delish! We threw in some fries and hush puppies and whew, we were too through! Whatever magic dust seasoning they use is very tasty! I like the fact that you can purchase a meal for one, or have a catered meal for 60 at the drop of a dime. No calling the order in a week in advance. Whether it's a meal for one or a larger order it's the same great quality and at a reasonable price. They carry chicken tenders, dark meat, white meat, different varieties of fish, various sides and plenty of other offerings. The restaurant itself is basically a carry out, including menus all over the walls and thick bullet proof glass protecting the staff from the customers, so it's not a place to go and hang around and eat, because it's no seats or tables inside. I would advise that you call in your order and it will be ready when you arrive. Giving some other chicken spots a run for their money! Plus, it's a great option and a nice change of pace if you want something fried!

Delicious authentic fresh Italian food in the DMA area. Brings me back to my honeymoon in Amalfi Coast. Definitely worth the trek over the river from McLean, VA. The Fusilli alla Lina with stewed eggplant really hit the spot! It was my favorite dish in Amalfi and never had a dish like that in the U.S. The chewy al dente Fusilli noodles were divine and unique as long twisted noodles like Gemelli rather the traditional corkscrew shape. It paired well with the fresh crispy chunks of eggplant stewing in marinara sauce and oozing with cheese. The Eggplant Parmesan was a generous serving with layers of fresh juicy fried eggplant (prepared earlier that shift) was scrumptious and delicious. If I had to pick between the pasta or the eggplant parm, I would go with the Fusilli because it also has eggplant, best of both worlds!I wasn't a big fan of the Tiramisu. While it was served in the traditional Italian form of a cup rather than the Americanized cake, the chocolate cake topped with a mound of whipped cream and cocoa powder really missed the mark. Where were the lady fingers soaked in expresso and mascarpone cheese? I threw in the towel 1/2 way through. Skip the dessert and save more room for the main course! The complementary bread was cold - would have been nice to serve it warm. The spicy olive oil was interesting, but didn't quite pair well and a side of olive oil and vinegar would have elevated the bread. It's a free app, so can't have too many complaints here! The staff was great and let me sample a Pinot Noir Impero and another Italian Nero red wine (don't remember the exact name) that was more fuller-bodied and flavorful with notes of spices. While I chose the Pinot Noir, I appreciated the recommendation to try the other wine. There's no outdoor table seating. You can get carry-out and sit outside at the small square tables, but there's no service. While it wasn't that busy on a bustling Sat night with people trickling in, I'm glad I made a reservation. Will definitely come back for the Fusilli with stewed eggplant- so delicious!

"I stopped by this cute cafe/dessert shop while walking around Georgetown. They have a selection of lokum (which I think are Turkish delight?), ashta, a stretchy ice cream, and an assortment of baklava. The customer service was great. The workers were very friendly and let me sample several flavors of ice cream. I got half pistachio, half lotus (biscoff) ice cream, and 6 different pieces of baklava and hazelnut lokum. The hazelnut lokum was probably my favorite, delicious and never had anything quite like it. The baklava and ice cream were also very good, the ice cream had bold pistachio flavor which I loved. In total, it cost $21 for a small ice cream and small tray of baklava/lokum, which is expensive, but that's D.C. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Georgetown. Unfortunately, I ate everything in one sitting, so I did not get any pictures (lol)."
"Excellent dining experience! Had a reservation for 7 people and we were sat right away. The appetizers were delicious, especially the snails in the parsley butter. Dip your bread in that butter and you won't be sorry. All the entrees were great however, the star was the duck confit! The service was wonderful and very attentive. The restaurant is cozy, inviting and charming. We have been here for brunch as well which was also a treat. This restaurant will continue to be on our list!"
"Could it be? Someplace where I love the papusas AND the tamales?! I was craving chicken tamales and stumbled across La Familiar...and wished that it could've been sooner. They put a generous amount of chicken that had this delicious red sauce on it. Not sure what it's called but I loved it. They were thick, hot, and spiced beautifully. The elote tamales were, in a word, impeccable. They offered a fried option which was surprisingly delicious. The steamed ones set the bar pretty high yet here we are. Meeting and exceeding. You have the option of w/wo crema. The papusas were fluffy, filled just enough, and came with interesting fillings. I'm used to seeing pork, bean, and cheese. They offered squash (a touch of sweetness), bean and mint (literally blown away with how much I love this), and chipilin (adore). For context, Chipilin tastes like spinach and watercress had a baby. I noticed the cheese having a slight tang, but it wasn't off putting. Just different than other places I've tried. My only "gripe" (if you even want to call it that) was the curtido. It tasted good but something was off. Not off enough where I would avoid it, but it just wasn't the same. This is coming from someone who is extremely picky about that condiment. Not too fond of cabbage so maybe that's why. Now, the best for last...PASTELITOS! These amazing little pockets of happiness are stuffed with either chicken or beef and OMG OMG OMG. Every bite was pure happiness. It kinda reminded me of kibbeh. The handmade tortillas were amazing the next morning with some eggs and ricotta salata. So, if you're deciding on where to eat today, tomorrow, or next week...come here. I promise there will be something you love :D"
"This is a lovely quaint place near the water! The vibe is chill and welcoming. I ordered a French dip and it was delish. Your teeth just sunk in to the meat and bread. So yummy. There are a few tables and you can eat at the bar. Very cozy. They sell art and cool little items with waterfront themes. If you are in the area, it's def worth a stop and even if you aren't, it's worth the drive."
"Incredibly delicious Chinese food. Plus simple, unimpressive interior and subpar service. Which is how you know it's a truly authentic Asian restaurant :) We tried the following:- Spicy lotus root slices - delicious! Highly recommended. It was not too spicy and actually had a slightly sweet kick too, which I really enjoyed. It provided a nice refreshing (and sweeter) balance to all other spicy dishes. - Chili oil wontons - probably the best chili oil wontons I've ever had so far! They were soft, chewy, and flavorful. The pork tasted really good, and the wonton wrappers were super fresh with a soft springy/doughy mouthfeel to them. - Zajiang noodles - quite spicy and flavorful with a good chewiness to the noodles. Only con is that the pork meat was very finely grounded, which I wasn't a big fan of (I prefer a coarser grind). - Sichuan beef noodle soup - beef was very moist and tender. Noodles were plentiful and chewy."
"This is the BEST restaurant for Chinese cuisine that I have experienced in a very long time."
"Probably the best food I've had in DC in years. The "bread," OMG the "bread." Cozy ambiance especially downstairs.Service was on point but I went during the holiday off season so I can't say how they do when swamped."
"Amazing French food for a reasonable price. The duck is amazing and the wine list is extensive."
"OVERALL: pretty good tacos, great torta FOOD: flavorful and good portionsTorta1. Loved the Oaxaca cheese and jalapeno. So filling I could only eat half of it in one sitting2. Tacos- asada: classic, done well- al pastor: came with pineapple pieces but didn't get to finish it - goat: too heavy but I bet it's good freshHomemade tortillas and sauces are great! This was a takeout order so I couldn't say much for the venue or service"
"Nice little restaurant with good service. I had the salad and my friend had the soup. We shared a dessert. I wish the chairs were a little more comfy but there were people there working on their laptops so it is probably a great place to get some work done."
"We had Le Caprice cater our breakfast!!!! LISTEN!!! The attention to detail was beyond my expectations. The breakfast sandwiches were HUGE!!! We all loved the sandwiches. The pastries were tasty and they are vegetarian and vegan options!!! I want to thank you for such a wonderful breakfast!!!!! You will get your monies worth!!!!!!"
"La Bonne vie just opened a couple of weeks ago, and figured we'd check it out, and I'm so glad we did. It's super cozy and cute inside and the service was absolutely wonderful. We started by sharing the beet and burrata salad and I'm still thinking about it now. It was really well balanced and flavorful. My husband had the duck for dinner and raved about how well cooked it was and just tasty. I had the Parisian gnocchi and it was delightful. I always except gnocchi dishes to be heavy but this was light and delicious. Lastly, we shared the berry pistachio tart. It was more of a pistachio tart with a few berries on top. I loved it, but my husband was hoping for more berry! I'd highly recommend checking out La Bonne Vie for delicious, quality food"
"Excited this place finally opened!! Stopped in for a drink and dessert while in the neighborhood. (I'd already eaten elsewhere). The menu looked good, bartenders were really friendly, and bathrooms were very pretty. Ice cream was rich and not too sweet. Only complaint was how bright the lights were for dinnertime - they eventually turned down - but probably could've gone down even more. I look forward to checking out more of their menu."
"This place was on point. We were out and about and craving some late night pizza and I remember seeing this place on Instagram and it was not disappointing at all. It was so good. We devoured it in the car. NY style, thin and the sauce was just right! Bonus points to this place for being open 24 hrs. I got a humongous slice of cheese pizza. I cannot even describe how huge it was. You only need one slice for a late night craving. Trust!!"
"New to District heights food was delicious, seasoned well I didn't miss eating meat at all. the cake was moist and sweet but not overpowering. the only thing the cheesecake had a weird after taste I'm thinking the tofu , but overall I will be going back !"
"The backstory is amazing. I love the concept. The cheesecake that I had (nana) was just ok. The portion was small and the price was not fair to me. I frequently by from the Pie Man of DC and his pies are double the size and half the price of these. Not to mention he uses all organic and natural ingredients!Like I said, I love the inception of this establishment. That's why we patronized it, but don't rip your people off. Treat people right and the money will follow. This is just my opinion. No disrespect. I know property values at national harbor are ridiculous but figure out another way to eat the costs please."
"seafood house ambiance, the aroma of seafood fills the air as soon you enter the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was fast and attentive. Shout out to Andrew! The oyster bar menu is updated daily. We decided to try half sweet and half salt oysters. The small size oysters looked like the usual medium sized oysters! They were both delicious The YUZU SAKE BOMB was a great alternative to the usual Bloody Mary oyster shooter. It's absolutely refreshing and it's different that the oyster was still on the shell. BAKED PIMENTO CRAB DIP: loved how they incorporated the crispy shrimp cracker into their. Honestly felt like I was eating chipotle queso dip with crab. HAMACHI CRUDO: too salty. The freshness of the fish was overwhelmed by how salty it was Lobster roll: the roll was sooo buttery delicious and the lobster was sooo fresh. The fries tasted like ocean city's board walk fries: what a nostalgic feeling Honestly this dish alone was vey filling. The BIRD IS THE WORD and VELVET SIDECAR were both aromatic and flavorful I would come back for the oysters, drinks, and lobster roll"
"The five stars is only for the Banh Mi! It's the best value ($7) for what you will get anywhere in DC. Just bring cash because the credit card minimum is $12. The other bakery items can be good but hit or miss whether they will be hot or cold. The older lady that runs the shop is very sweet -- I will always come back when I am near the Eden Center"
"Came here for the first time and it's the cutest, coziest coffee shop one could ask for. I ordered the hot caramel macchiato and it was so flavorful, rich, and smooth. I look forward to coming back."
"If we're talking about coffee ONLY, I'd give Kefa five stars. Honestly some of the best coffee I've tasted, but let's be clear: I use coffee for it's most sensible utility...to wake me up and keep me up on days that struggle to know my own name. On my visit to Kefa, I surely was unprepared to tutor my bubbly college freshman and honestly felt like slapping her to calm down her electric nerves, but...coffee. There's something about pure rich coffee that wakes me up enough to focus, take a deep breath and help me get my thoughts in order to whip these kids into shape (note that I said pure and rich). After a brief run-in with whom I assumed was the manager, I felt very welcomed and appreciated when the kind lady offered me two kinds of the same coffee: regular and Au Lait both were really good. Kefa is conveniently located on the bottom floor of the local library. So it's a very reasonable quick stop for students and residents. I have it 4 stars because it's not very stocked on baked goods and other items like creamer and syrups come in limited capacity. Overall though, I would definitely recommend Kefa to all the true coffee heads."
"Been here a couple times since they opened. Good quality food. Their empanadas are fresh and great. Meaty and juicy. (I don't really like the fried kind). Definitely will be going back."
"Great neighborhood cafe! Their organic coffee and matcha options are delicious. We will certainly be back!"
"Great local go to choice for happy hour. Great drink and food prices (see receipt) and prompt service. Not necessary the spot you go to for vibes per se but can't beat a $5 menu."
