"What a beautiful, YUMMY, elevated new space! A great new addition to Tyson's! This location is absolutely stunning, I love the attention to detail from the uniforms in the restaurant and the fancy PJ's in the cafe. The interior is definitely a vibe. If you come here for a casual coffee, lunch date or fancy dinner this place has it all. And you can tell the owners poured their heart and soul into this space. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious! I love that you can have any menu in any location inside the restaurant. Definitely coming back soon.JJJ"

"I don't know if this is a new restaurant or just a hidden gem, but I am glad I found this spot. I have already picked up twice from here in the past two weeks because it's that good.I plan to dine inside next time because the interior is clean and seems fun. But I would recommend carry out or dine in because the food is that good. The rice, veggies, and meat are all delicious. Both times I have come in the workers have been very helpful at getting my order ready so I old assume the done in service is excellent as well. Very good spot - highly recommend! I am excited to try their special dessert next time."

"Stopped by here late night with a group of friends. They have an upstairs rooftop area, as well as the main level where all of the karaoke rooms are. You can reserve the private karaoke rooms for your group, or partake in karaoke publicly on the main level. Both levels have bars. I ended up ordering both cocktails and light bites while we were here. The drinks were just okay, and the same for the food. Apparently they have some sort of unlimited seafood boil special, but I'm not sure this is the place where I would want to try that. Anyhow, this is an okay spot if you have a large group and are looking for some entertainment"

The peach cobbler is in a small container that I doubt was made on site, but I could make two servings out of it and it was also delicious! I ordered online and it was ready for pick up when I got there. The one guy there was nice. It is a small place that I am not sure is considered a place to dine, but for takeout it is great!"

"I wiuld honestly say that this place used to be better.Making a reservation on a weeknight, I was told that novtables were available at 6:39 pn. Only 6:15 snd 6:45 were available. This turned out to be compketely untrue (we came at 6:15 and the place was still largely empty by 6:30 pm).Our waiter was impossible to understand . He raced through the specials and we had to ask him to repeat them several times.Formely the menu had a lot of choices . This is now down to just a handful. This would be okay if they were all exceptional, but alas, no. I had the pasta special (large sized pasta filled with cheese), which was mushy and overcooked. The waiter had recommended it saying "we rarely make this," and now i understand why.The salads used to be splittable, but alas no more. We had barely a mouthful each with the ceasar and it had nothing hinting at anchovy in it.I would say the prices here remain on the high side for Italian but for tge life of me I dont know ehy.This place used to be a special treat for us, but in its present incarnation, I'm not sure we'll even go back."

The meat was fresh and the green sauce that comes on the side was just the right amount of flavor to spice things up. Very friendly and accommodating service. "This place is located in Chinatown, inside the building that houses Regal theater & a side entrance to Capital One Arena (just passed Clyde's Restaurant). Chinatown metro is a block away.The pub serves sandwiches, fries and burgers. It was reworked after the previous restaurant closed. This is a perfect spot to visit before or after seeing a movie. (If you want a more upscale date, visit Clyde's)The space is also used for events. There is a dance floor, tables for board games and video games."

"If you're ever visiting the Wharf in DC, or want a sweet treat, Southwest Soda Pop Shop is definitely a stop worth making!Southwest Soda Pop Shop is a black-owned and operated business located in a hip container shop across from the seafood market at the Wharf. In addition to ice cream and shakes, you can find lite snacks and desserts. Everything was made from scratch and the strawberry shake I had had chunks of fresh strawberries in it!All-in-all this is a great stop for some old-fashion ice cream."

"I stopped by this cute cafe/dessert shop while walking around Georgetown. They have a selection of lokum (which I think are Turkish delight?), ashta, a stretchy ice cream, and an assortment of baklava. The customer service was great. The workers were very friendly and let me sample several flavors of ice cream. I got half pistachio, half lotus (biscoff) ice cream, and 6 different pieces of baklava and hazelnut lokum. The hazelnut lokum was probably my favorite, delicious and never had anything quite like it. The baklava and ice cream were also very good, the ice cream had bold pistachio flavor which I loved. In total, it cost $21 for a small ice cream and small tray of baklava/lokum, which is expensive, but that's D.C. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Georgetown. Unfortunately, I ate everything in one sitting, so I did not get any pictures (lol)."

"Excellent dining experience! Had a reservation for 7 people and we were sat right away. The appetizers were delicious, especially the snails in the parsley butter. Dip your bread in that butter and you won't be sorry. All the entrees were great however, the star was the duck confit! The service was wonderful and very attentive. The restaurant is cozy, inviting and charming. We have been here for brunch as well which was also a treat. This restaurant will continue to be on our list!"

"Could it be? Someplace where I love the papusas AND the tamales?! I was craving chicken tamales and stumbled across La Familiar...and wished that it could've been sooner. They put a generous amount of chicken that had this delicious red sauce on it. Not sure what it's called but I loved it. They were thick, hot, and spiced beautifully. The elote tamales were, in a word, impeccable. They offered a fried option which was surprisingly delicious. The steamed ones set the bar pretty high yet here we are. Meeting and exceeding. You have the option of w/wo crema. The papusas were fluffy, filled just enough, and came with interesting fillings. I'm used to seeing pork, bean, and cheese. They offered squash (a touch of sweetness), bean and mint (literally blown away with how much I love this), and chipilin (adore). For context, Chipilin tastes like spinach and watercress had a baby. I noticed the cheese having a slight tang, but it wasn't off putting. Just different than other places I've tried. My only "gripe" (if you even want to call it that) was the curtido. It tasted good but something was off. Not off enough where I would avoid it, but it just wasn't the same. This is coming from someone who is extremely picky about that condiment. Not too fond of cabbage so maybe that's why. Now, the best for last...PASTELITOS! These amazing little pockets of happiness are stuffed with either chicken or beef and OMG OMG OMG. Every bite was pure happiness. It kinda reminded me of kibbeh.The handmade tortillas were amazing the next morning with some eggs and ricotta salata. So, if you're deciding on where to eat today, tomorrow, or next week...come here. I promise there will be something you love :D"

If you are in the area, it's def worth a stop and even if you aren't, it's worth the drive."

"Incredibly delicious Chinese food. Plus simple, unimpressive interior and subpar service. Which is how you know it's a truly authentic Asian restaurant :) We tried the following:- Spicy lotus root slices - delicious! Highly recommended. It was not too spicy and actually had a slightly sweet kick too, which I really enjoyed. It provided a nice refreshing (and sweeter) balance to all other spicy dishes. - Chili oil wontons - probably the best chili oil wontons I've ever had so far! They were soft, chewy, and flavorful. The pork tasted really good, and the wonton wrappers were super fresh with a soft springy/doughy mouthfeel to them. - Zajiang noodles - quite spicy and flavorful with a good chewiness to the noodles. Only con is that the pork meat was very finely grounded, which I wasn't a big fan of (I prefer a coarser grind). - Sichuan beef noodle soup - beef was very moist and tender. Noodles were plentiful and chewy."

"La Bonne vie just opened a couple of weeks ago, and figured we'd check it out, and I'm so glad we did.It's super cozy and cute inside and the service was absolutely wonderful. We started by sharing the beet and burrata salad and I'm still thinking about it now. It was really well balanced and flavorful. My husband had the duck for dinner and raved about how well cooked it was and just tasty. I had the Parisian gnocchi and it was delightful. I always except gnocchi dishes to be heavy but this was light and delicious. Lastly, we shared the berry pistachio tart. It was more of a pistachio tart with a few berries on top. I loved it, but my husband was hoping for more berry! I'd highly recommend checking out La Bonne Vie for delicious, quality food"

Only complaint was how bright the lights were for dinnertime - they eventually turned down - but probably could've gone down even more. I look forward to checking out more of their menu."

Treat people right and the money will follow. This is just my opinion. No disrespect. I know property values at national harbor are ridiculous but figure out another way to eat the costs please."

"seafood house ambiance, the aroma of seafood fills the air as soon you enter the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was fast and attentive. Shout out to Andrew! The oyster bar menu is updated daily. We decided to try half sweet and half salt oysters. The small size oysters looked like the usual medium sized oysters! They were both delicious The YUZU SAKE BOMB was a great alternative to the usual Bloody Mary oyster shooter. It's absolutely refreshing and it's different that the oyster was still on the shell. BAKED PIMENTO CRAB DIP: loved how they incorporated the crispy shrimp cracker into their. Honestly felt like I was eating chipotle queso dip with crab. HAMACHI CRUDO: too salty. The freshness of the fish was overwhelmed by how salty it was Lobster roll: the roll was sooo buttery delicious and the lobster was sooo fresh. The fries tasted like ocean city's board walk fries: what a nostalgic feeling Honestly this dish alone was vey filling. The BIRD IS THE WORD and VELVET SIDECAR were both aromatic and flavorful I would come back for the oysters, drinks, and lobster roll"

"If we're talking about coffee ONLY, I'd give Kefa five stars. Honestly some of the best coffee I've tasted, but let's be clear: I use coffee for it's most sensible utility...to wake me up and keep me up on days that struggle to know my own name. On my visit to Kefa, I surely was unprepared to tutor my bubbly college freshman and honestly felt like slapping her to calm down her electric nerves, but...coffee. There's something about pure rich coffee that wakes me up enough to focus, take a deep breath and help me get my thoughts in order to whip these kids into shape (note that I said pure and rich). After a brief run-in with whom I assumed was the manager, I felt very welcomed and appreciated when the kind lady offered me two kinds of the same coffee: regular and Au Lait both were really good. Kefa is conveniently located on the bottom floor of the local library. So it's a very reasonable quick stop for students and residents. I have it 4 stars because it's not very stocked on baked goods and other items like creamer and syrups come in limited capacity. Overall though, I would definitely recommend Kefa to all the true coffee heads."
