"I had lunch at Parkway Deli yesterday, and as always, it was a fantastic experience! I've eaten here many times, but this is my first time posting a review. I ordered the Pastrami Delight sandwich, and it truly lived up to its name. The pastrami was bursting with flavor, with just the right amount of crispy charred bits. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the coleslaw added the perfect crunch to every bite. I'd add a pic, but I was so hungry I didn't stop to take one!I paired it with goodies from the famous pickle bar--dill pickles, sauerkraut, and banana peppers--which made the meal even better. My server was friendly and attentive, and my food arrived quickly, which I really appreciated. On my way out, I couldn't resist picking up a tub of whitefish and a tub of chopped liver to snack on later--both were absolutely delicious.If you're ever in Silver Spring or nearby, Parkway Deli is a must-visit. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently top-notch. You won't be disappointed!"

"Was dying to try this place since I saw it on Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix. While on a trip to DC, went into the cool Georgetown area. This is a corner shop in a pretty neighborhood. The young guy at the counter was friendly, service is really important to me. I ordered the grinder sandwich. It's huge, a great value and delicious! Its on really good bread, loaded with meat, cheese and veggies. It took me two meals to finish it. Can't find anything like this back home in Honolulu.Bonus: Jamie, the owner that was on Feed Phil, walked in and took a pic w me at my request. He was really nice and made the visit all the more memorable."

"What they lack in curb appeal they make up for in taste and quality of ingredients. The fact that this business still hasn't been claimed by the business owner makes me respect it even more. He's busy making these kick ass gyros and probably has no idea how to work a computer, like a true man of Greek culture. I'm pretty sure I was the only person there that was new. The owner (I believe) basically ignored me and my questions about the orzo salad and greeted everyone else in line by name which had me thinking oh ok so it's a small hole in the wall but I'm hungry and love Greek food and it's next to my ENT doctor so I'll order a quick sandwich.Welp, upon the first bite I somehow respect this owner more because, like, STFU you newbie, order the orzo salad or don't and keep moving... this is a place I will be coming to frequently until the grumpy old bloke knows who I am and the most intimate details of my life."

"We really liked our breakfast dim sum at China Boy. Especially their rice noodle crepes, we tried 3 different kinds and they were all delicious with the rice noodle sauce, the BBQ pork, fresh shrimp and fried dough stick crepes. Also their Popcorn chicken was the best we've had, just let them rest for at least 5 minutes, they come out tongue burning hot."

I got the black raspberry ice cream sandwich w/lemon cookie and it was stellar! The french fries however, were mushy, cold, and soggy.The pickles.When we finally got the pickles, the plate contained a full sour, a half sour, and dill pickle chips. The full sour was a very well executed pickle. Just enough fermentation, ample crunch, and great flavor.The pickle chips were also crunchy flavorful and very well executed.The half sour was disappointing. It needed longer in the brine. "Been here three times now. Twice has been for Father's Day and then most recently, Mother's Day. We chose it bc it has nice outdoor seating and we always bring dogs- so our choices are limited. They've improved their patio seating with comfortable cushions and large sunbrellas. The food has always been pretty good. The Bianca pizza was out of this world amazing the year prior but that seemed to have changed. It doesn't taste as good as it did before. Service is amazing- I can see they don't cut corners here. They even accommodated by making fettuccini Alfredo, which wasn't on the menu. I liked their salad but I'm going to stick to pasta- seems like that's their specialty and I love how homemade it tastes."

I love their deli style tuna fish (dry, no frills) and their corn beef sandwiches are divine! And the Reubens with the fresh rye bread? They're darn good! The salad platters are huge & look really fresh. That's next for me! With a bagel on the side of course.Service is great here. No requests seem to be too much."

Hubby and I both ordered a lox bagel with everything (capers, red onion, cream cheese, & tomato) on everything bagel. It was delish!! We both had their house coffee. Our son chose a muffin and Pellegrino water. We also purchased a bear claw and a pack of chocolate chip cookies for the road home. I needed to use the restroom which was required a key code so the nice lady came and unlocked one. She was so sweet. This whole Korean family that owned the store was super sweet. I wish we were staying longer so I could come back and get a lunch sandwich, they looked amazing from the menu. Great place to he's. Something quick and yummy! Clean sink fares and bathroom. Plenty of tables and chairs."

But for my money this is a solid muff with the fresh sesame seed bread and the meats and cheese piled high. Ate one half room temp and heated the other in a pan recommended by a guy at Central Grocery (my fav). So what if you don't get to make several meals out of this littler version. Get it and be happy!"

And it was very crunchy due to over abundance of celery that gave it a rather astringent taste.
