"This was a second trip to Zorba's. The first was my friend's 1st time having Greek food ever and they won her over. So now the second time I visited we had to go back. This time since we were with a few friends we did basically an enhanced sampler as they have a sampler but we also added the spicy whipped feta and a pizza. I think overall my favorites were the tabouleh, tzatziki and feta. We also had a few Greek beers and sat upstairs and chatted for almost 2 hours it was such a great experience and good time."
"Ordered a sausage egg and cheese online around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and it was done within about 7min. I remember thinking "Damn, $10 is kinda expensive for a sandwich". When I came inside to pick it up I realized I forgot to order coffee. So I asked if I could get the "honey cinn. iced" that was on the coffee menu (didn't have a price next to the menu), but I asked if I could get it hot instead. For the sandwich it's definitely worth the $10. It was a very thick sandwich and they didn't skimp on the egg. Came with a spicy green and flavorful sauce on the side which was delicious. However, the coffee was not worth the $11 I paid for :( Idek what made it that price. I didn't order any substitutes and aside from the $1 I gave as a tip I was confused but decided to pay for it because maybe it was some type of special Ethiopian latte. Boy was I wrong. It just tastes like regular (and veryyyy light) drip coffee with a splash of milk. No honey or cinnamon taste. I was disappointed enough to take two stars off since this is suppose to be a Café afterall and coffee is a huge factor in that."

"First place we visited to get coffee and did not disappoint! The pistachio latte is delicious and definitely worth a try, don't be surprised if you find bits of pistachios in it haha.Generally, there's plenty of seating, it's just a matter of finding one whenever it gets busy. The staff are super friendly and I already can't wait to try more things on their menu!"
"The ambiance is really nice here! However the prices are ridiculously expensive. We ordered the chrysanthemum tea pot which came out to be $25 which is insane for water + some tea leaves. I thought they marked the prices wrong in the online ordering portal and had a double take. Everything costs extra - sugar, honey, even an extra glass! An extra glass is $3 which is crazy to get an extra cup to use. The pot is tiny but at least they give you a bottle of hot water for refills which gives you more than the tiny bit you get from the original pot. We also got a croffle with ice cream and it was basically half an eggo waffle + small scoop of ice cream. Expect everything here to come miniature size! Would love to come here regularly for the ambiance but the prices are not justifiable (even if you live in NYC where prices are high - this is even higher than expected)."
"Great coffee on H street! Nice vibey spot in DC to go work, study or even just hang out. Will definitely come back for coffee. Had coffee and white mocha; delish!"
"Solid spot for coffee. Not a ton of indoor seating and it's always packed. They make your coffee super fast and have a huge selection of teas as well. They offer oat milk but not almond or soy that I saw. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious."
"I ordered a smash cake for my son's 1st birthday. Positives: I was satisfied with their service from the beginning. Terri was helpful with giving me options in how to get close to the cake I envisioned. We communicated the details via email which helped everyone stay on track and focus on the details. The cake was only $35 which I thought was a great price. The cake tasted delicious. It wasn't too sweet, given that it was made with vanilla, butter cream, and oreos.Needs improvements: It didn't have the smash factor I expected. Especially for a one year old, he couldn't smash it even with my help. Also, there was more icing than there was cake. Lastly, the oreo filling was dry, not moist as I expected a filling to be. Overall, I would recommend this bakery. They just need to improve on a few things."
"My girlfriends and I have been talking about Korean corn dogs and shaved ice for the longest that we decided to plan a day out to VA just to get what we've been talking about. You order your food from a kiosk and a ticket is printed with your order number. The place is pretty spacious on the inside so there's plenty of seating. I ordered the hot Cheeto's corn dog and I can't remember the other one. For my dessert, I ordered the mango shaved ice. The corn dogs were a 10/10. The spiciness was leveled out by the sugar they put on the corn dogs. The reason for the one star is due to everything here having sugar and being sweet. For example, the kimchi was sweet with a hint of spiciness. The mango shaved ice was also 10/10."
"We were seated immediately and the ambiance was beautiful! We love it on a regular day but the added valentine decor was tasteful and well done. Our food came quickly and it tasted delicious as always! We started with some spring rolls which are our go to there. The sauce on the side is perfect. My husband got the Red Curry and I had the Siam Chicken. Both were great and SO much food. My drink was tasty (spicy daisy). Think spicy margarita almost but with a super cute presentation. Our go to Thai when we want a dine-in experience."
"Came here after my roommate recommended it. Stopped by with a friend for some breakfast and coffee. I was unprepared for how many great treats they had! We each got a messy egg breakfast sandwich and coffee. I also tried their seasonal lavender iced tea, which was very tasty. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Ambiance is friendly and there's some seating indoors and outdoors, though limited. They offer amazing pastries and an assortment of dry goods, spreads, pastas, cheese, and more! I felt like the more I looked the more I found. I ended taking a loaf of banana bread home with me and my roommates and I enjoyed every bite throughout the week. Can't wait to go back!"
"I randomly found this place on open table when looking for a last minute reservation. It did not disappoint! The service was great, the ambiance and decor were lovely and the food was amazing! Items tried:- sangria (red) 10/10- garlic shrimp 10/10- Patatas Bravas 10/10- kale caesar salad 10/10- egg plant 8/10- grilled steak 10/10- octopus(didn't try but my friend liked it)"
"I've never had anything bad here. I love the pastries, the whole cakes, and the drinks. The best is coming in the morning when everything is coming right out the oven. Lots of seating inside and outside (when it's not frigid out) as well."

This place was recommended to us by my brother in-law and it did not disappoint. Food was really, we ordered the Zobra's Combo to share and is more than enough food for us. Our Server Saul is amazing!

What a cute spot for breakfast! Shoutout to the DC CM Sydney for bringing me here while I was visiting DC! It's a great local business with the friendliest staff and a large menu of breakfast and lunch items - mainly specializing in Ethiopian food but they also have just about everything you could think of. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a biscuit and swapped the hashbrown with a side of home fries. My plate came out with 2 sandwiches! I was so full after the one I couldn't even dig into the second. There's limited indoor seating and some great seating outside. All around a very flavorful and friendly place for sure!!

Ugh I LOVE Tattes! The quality is soooo good and this one is no exception. Their pastries are delicious; I hope I can try every one someday. Their seasonal lattes always hit the spot and it's an excellent spot to sit down with a colleague or friend and slow down. It gets a little loud during the lunch hour, but you can always select a table outside if you are worried about that.

I've been here two times so far. Pleasant tea and coffee shop. They are very welcoming and explain how the menu works. There are QR codes at the the table where you order from. Very attentive and nice service.

Omg. You can definitely taste the good quality of this coffee. They also roast it right in front of you so you KNOW it's good. The croissant was so flaky and buttery. And the iced caramel latte was so creamy and sweet. It also has such a cool chill vibe and they have a lovely patio to sit at. The servers are also so friendly and it was a great way to start my Saturday. I will definitely be back for more

Came here after a haircut nearby. The person up front was really welcoming and answered my questions about the difference between a macchiato, a latte, and a cappuccino. Since they do things "traditionally" don't expect a Starbucks caramel macchiato here -- they're meant to be tiny shots of coffee! Since I wanted something sweet but not too sweet, I opted for the latte and the barista recommended cold. The add on of vanilla and honey made it a bit more price point wise, but overall, fast and good service and can say the latte is high quality. Even the whole milk they use is A2 milk which is more digestible than conventional milk. Lots of seating inside and outside. Unfortunately since it's a nice warm day all the seats outside have been taken :,) Indoors have plugs though for your laptop. Overall, I recommend this spot as a work spot -- great space and great coffee!

Apparently German Chocolate cakes are hard to come by in this area. Buzz to the rescue! I stopped in randomly one day looking for a sweet treat and struck up a conversation with Terry, who is extremely helpful and nice. German chocolate was not part of their normal custom cake offering but they were able to accommodate my order. It was a seamless ordering process, I didn't have any tight turns rounds or crazy requests. The cake was a hit, moist and very "heavy" for a 6". I've been twice and never had to wait in line longer than 5 min to order.I've also had the red velvet and carrot cupcakes- both moist and delicious. They make a lot of coffee syrups in house, so I'm curious to try those. Buzz has a great atmosphere, nice decor, great customer service and ample street parking. The desserts are good and they have a great selection. I'll surely return!

My go to place to get food when I'm not feeling well. I usually get their beef and vegetables porridge. It is just perfect when your tummy not feeling good or when you can't chew hard food. Their pumpkin porridge is also great. Is comes with bouncy rice balls in it, very yummy!!! I also had their black sesame porridge, honestly it was a bit too bland for my taste, might taste better with a bit plum sugar in it? Or even coconut milk, of course then it won't be authentic Korean juk anymore in this case.I also recommend getting their Korean hot dogs. My fav one is the potatoe one with cheese inside. Yummmmmm make it spicy!!

"My friend frequents this spot and recommended I check it out! Really loved the vibe in here. Very cozy and comfy. Tons of outlets so it's a great place to work from as well. I really like that you can order thru a QR code and the food will come out when it's ready. Some people like more interaction, but this is fine as well! Drinks were okayyyy, nothing special (maybe I need to try something else). The pork belly was delicious! So flavorful. I loved my cheese arepa as well. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal, and one is a vegan and had many options!! We will definitely come back and try more things!"
"This place is a hidden gem for brunch in Alexandria. Most places have absurd wait times, at Junction we were seated immediately in the back area bar. The food was artisanal and so fresh. And, best of all, the Bloody Maries were top notch. I consider myself a Bloody connoisseur (born and raised in Wisconsin - we know good Bloodies.) The mix is fresh and not soupy thick. Perfect bit of hair of the dog. Oh, and the service was wonderful. The wait staff and bartender were kind and we had great conversation. That contributed to the overall ambience - not a loud, bustling brunch spot - but a chill bakery with good food and drinks."
"First time at tatte. I was in love even before I opened the door! How beautiful! I'm really going to miss this cafe.Beautiful tiling, display of pastries, the merchandise, the clean wide spaced bar tables for laptops and lattes. I came back twice for their house latte but iced. Sandwhiches are good too. Perfect for a quick breakfast or brunch. But also that vibe! I could spend all day with my laptop in this place. #love"
"Great food and ambiance. The BLT was huge and delicious! Nice outdoor seating during good weather."
"I might be a little bias but I love going to detour for the ambience, they have a lot of different events during weekdays for the community. I usually go with friends and we end up just hanging out and playing games. I personally get the mango hibiscus tea everyone I go, with the agave to sweeten it. I love it. I've had their sliders and flatbreads as well and so far I haven't been disappointed :) the flatbread especially is very easy to share when I'm with a group. Note: the seats are definitely worn down if that's an issue"
"Love their food ! Espresso martinis & fresh squeezed OJ ! I always get the empanadas, make sure u ask for both sauces orange & green as well."
"Amazing vibes and amazing coffee. Absolutely love grabbing their coffee to sip on for my walks. Their vanilla latte is creamy, sweet and brewed perfectly. Also for DC 5 dollars for a latte is a crazy good price. This place is the epitome of cozy fall vibes"
"Decided to drop in on our day trip to Georgetown. I opted for a matcha latte and you can have a customized photo latte art, so I submitted a dandelion design. They forgot to put it on at first, but quickly fixed their mistake. My drink was enjoyable and pastries looked good as well. Will have to try them next time!"
"Looking for a gluten free restaurant that serves tasty food? Today, my younger granddaughter and I discovered Lilit Cafe. Located on Old Georgetown Road, in the heart of Bethesda, it is easy to find. If anyone in your family has a gluten allergy or illness, you can count on one hand the restaurants that fill their menus with gluten free options. And, truthfully, many of those lack in taste or flavor. Not Lilit Cafe, we throughly enjoyed our cheese pizza. The pizza is hot from the oven. It was topped with loads of ooey gooey cheese and a delicious red sauce. The crust was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. My granddaughter ate three large pieces. I got the Greek salad topped with Italian meats. It was fresh, crisp, full of flavorful meats, tomatoes, Greek olives, lettuce, and peppers. The dressing was really tasty too. It was a large bowl, but I couldn't stop eating it. Service was great. The people who worked there kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. In speaking to the owner, I was not surprised to hear that the inspiration for Lilit Cafe was a close family member who could not tolerate gluten. I am so happy, that they decided to turn a hardship into a dream come true for people with gluten intolerance. Kudos to them! Insert applause! They have a large wine and beer selection. All of the drinks are bottled, but they have a huge wall of assorted drinks to choose from. We finished our lunch off with a cookies and cream cupcake. Lilit Cafe had 12 different flavors of Gluten Free cupcakes. That is unheard of!! We had a hard time picking out our favorite. It was really good! We were disappointed in the condition of the bathroom. There is one bathroom for both men and women and it needed some attention. There are tables to sit and enjoy your lunch or a thriving take out service. For us, this was a dream come true, we could go to a restaurant without the fear of getting ill and knowing we had a variety of choices to order and they all tasted great! We will definitely be back."
"My first time here, and I will say it's a very cute space. I enjoy the music here, it's upbeat but not too loud or distracting if you are trying to do work. However, this can be a tricky place to work at if you are in back to back meetings where you need to be talking, as a lot of the spaces are shared tables so you can hear everyone around you. The prices are really affordable (around $4 for coffee). I got the raspberry and green tea iced refresher and it is a nice combination of flavors without being overly sweet (bonus for it coming in a pretty glass). Things to note, they do not take cash, and you can order right from your table. When going up to look at a menu, the employee was looking at his phone and not very friendly and welcoming but totally understand if he was dealing with a business matter, it also was a very short interaction. There is also a good amount of parking (mostly street parking)."
"We loved this little sandwich shop so much we went back for a second time on our week-long trip to DC. I got a sandwich that had Brie and fig jam on a nice, crusty French bread on my first visit and a vegetarian panini on my second. My dining partner loved the Miami and got it both times. The sandwiches are well-made with quality ingredients, and the folks working here are very kind. The only thing to know in advance is that seating inside is really limited, so be prepared to take it to go if it's busy."
"Was in town for an event and this was the closest place that wasn't a fast food joint. They're renovating but the upstairs is pretty nice considering. Also- tho they have counter service, if you're dining in, you can just go to the table and scan the QR code to order. I ordered at the kiosk not knowing and they still brought the food out to me. Great service. I got a signature bowl with a mix of braised oxtail and lemongrass chicken. It was delicious. Will def be back!"
"OMG! I can't remember the last time I've been this WOW'ed by croissants in the US! A bakery that's only open 4 days a week for 4.5 hours made me want to try Nino's even more during my stay in DC. Not really a place you can sit down inside to enjoy the croissants, although there were a few tables outside. Thankfully there were only a few people waiting for their croissants in front of me. I was able to try the pistachio croissant as well as"
"Really good. It's no wonder there's a constant line here. A bit packed and chaotic but the line and order comes quick. Small bathroom but decent. Not too many seats but we were able to find some. I parked a block away in the retail paid parking area and walked over.I got a half bagel with avocado, tomatoes, micro greens and balsamic vinaigrette. It was perfectly toasted and fresh. I got my matcha latte with oat milk at 50% sweetness and it was probably the best matcha latte I've ever had.... The sweetness was just right - there were chunks of matcha at the bottom but I thought it wasn't too bitter so I really enjoyed it. I rarely finish a hot drink in one sitting like that."
"The service was amazing. Everyone was very kind and joyful. The coffee (standard oat milk latte) was good, and the baked goods were fantastic. I had the chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. The pastry was flaky, tender, moist, and had good flavor. The ham and cheese was really great, too. I would have liked a bit more chocolate in the chocolate croissant, but otherwise really nice.I will absolutely be back!"
"A nice pick for an affordable but still upscale dinner. Their food is delicious with large portions and their service is was very accommodating. The restaurant is small, dimmed pretty dark in the evening, is quiet, and there is one single-stall bathroom which acquired a line at several points throughout the night. Would recommend a reservation. A good date night spot."
"My favorite middle eastern bakery in this area!! Sometimes we go overboard and order toooo much, but we'll make it last the week, if we can control ourselves.Their kunafa is the best in town. Seriously. And you'll be lucky if you get a fresh piece! It's still delicious to go. We also always get a few pieces of the basbousa. It's perfect - soft, sweet but not too much, and a good size. Love love love love jenin's. We come at least once a month for our fix"

"Looking for a new coffee shop to try and saw multiple online reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Liked it so much, I returned a couple days later.Food?Breakfast Scallion Pancake Sandwich with Hickory Smoke Bacon. Delicious. Served with a steamed egg, American cheese, lo-mayo, and a side of chili crisp. Very filling, but worth it.Drink?Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Ube. Excellent! I had come here to try this drink and it was worth the walk. Staff was friendly and on my first visit, warned me there would be a little bit of a wait for my sandwich since a large order had been placed in front of me. Place was quiet and people working, so I didn't mind the wait at all.Would definitely return."
"It was very busy and crowded at lunchtime, but we didn't wait too long after our orders. There were more tables outdoor. The service was per normal. We ordered: 4*La Combo: half of Curried Turkey.... sandwich with organic mixed green salad. It was light and healthy. 5*Le Bon Mixed Greens Salad: for less than $10, weeks got a bowl of colorful and healthy meal. I would come back for more."
"Ordered the Masala Dosa and my Mom ordered idli, they were fresh and the chutneys were great."
"This is a small shop with indoor and outdoor seating available. Since there were so many options of pastries to pick from due to all the flavor combinations. The person who helped me was super helpful and patient as I tried to figure out what to get.I ended up getting the yuzu mousse with passion fruit and guava, sakura shortbread cookies, and the matcha passion coconut tart. The yuzu mousse was delectable! I have to admit, I was worried at first with all the flavors in it, but it was enjoyable. Each layer of the tart had a distinct flavor, and when combined it was basically a medley in my mouth. It is very strong with a citrus flavor, but with a cup of hot tea it was the perfect combo for me.I've never had Sakura shortbread cookies, I see them all the time on baking vlogs but never seen them in this area so I was excited to see *real* Sakuras (cherry blossoms) as opposed to cherries. The shortbread was crispy and buttery, while the Sakura flower was salty due to the preservation process. It was a very unique flavor, but enjoyable! While the matcha passion coconut tart was very matcha forward, as it was used to make the tart shell and a light dusting on top. The passionfruit curd was a nice distinct flavor that comes through and everything mellowed out with the coconut cream. I would say that overall, everything was delicious and although a bit pricey, was well worth it. I really like the way the flavors are played around in the food and will need to try out the rest."
