"Decent $12 lunch special for ramen, close to work and convenient. Service is quick and pleasant. I'm not a fan of the "hole in the wall" aesthetic. It's one thing to be one, but another thing to literally just not spruce up the place... at all. School chairs for seats is insane for a dine in experience outside of a school. Anyway, I will go back for the affordable ramen for lunch during the cold season my food was tasty and hearty and the vibe of the place is chill and you can tell everyone's letting their hair down."
"Went for dinner on Friday evening and the place was empty but buzzing with pickups for take out orders. The interiors are minimal with cute hand paintings on the walls. The hosts are very polite, friendly and accommodating. We had the Taiwanese popcorn crispy chicken, hot and sour soup, Mongolian chicken and mapo tofu. Every single dish was flavorful but the pick was probably the soup and the Mongolian chicken. Definitely coming back again to try more dishes and even take out if it falls in our delivery radius"
Served with 2 sides. 2 yellow sauce and 1 green (spicy) sauce.

"This restaurant specializes in fried chicken. They have chicken sandwiches, fried chicken parts, wraps, and breakfast sandwiches. They also have fish and shrimp. There is a modest sized dining area here and the available parking is also kind of limited.Even hough my interaction with them was limited, the staff seemed helpful and friendly. I ordered the Atlanta, a crispy chicken smothered in honey butter, topped with cheese on a brioche bun. I also go a side of fries. It took them about 10 minutes to prepare my food. It was fresh, hot and very delicious. There was a ton of food and I could not eat it all. I highly recommend getting some of their lemonade if you like sweet lemonade. mmmmmm. The chicken was flavorful and well seasoned. This is an underrated spot in my book. If their friend chicken tastes half as good as it looks, it will taste amazing. I did really like my meal though. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed."
"I can't believe I loved it! We had a chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a grilled chicken with rice and salad. The breading was spot on, crispy and juicy chicken. The spice level 2 is just a mild zing, the 3 was also not too spicy. The waffle fries only come in one size and it's perfect to share."
"loved the chickens! but it tends to dry if you get them at the end of the day. so be sure you get it right before lunch hour or right before dinner hour."
"Let's just dive in...Pros:- DELICIOUS FOOD- I've have the chicken, yuca, white rice, black beans, plantains, and yuquita balls. The chicken is juicy and seasoned so well, grocery stores try their best with rotisseries chicken and as good as it is, it just doesn't compare. The yuca was perfectly crisp even though they were larger. Usually I don't even order yuca, because restaurants never make them crispy enough. The black beans were super flavorful, I could eat them all day. The plantains are perfectly sweet. The show stopper is the yuquita balls, mashed yuca stuffed with cheese (maybe Oaxacan or mozzarella), then battered (I believe) and fried. Whew! Just amazing and it comes with an aioli that's not spicy but slightly sweet and it's just TOO GOOD!- They sell frozen treats as well.- There are 3 diff sauces: white, red, and green. All of them are good. I'm not sure if the red sauce is supposed to be spicy, but it's not spicy to me at all. The green sauce has an acidic base which is a good compliment to the flavorful meal especially if you get any of the fried items. Cons:- small eating area inside, but that's to be expected of a Peruvian chicken place. Get your food and go home to enjoy it so you can eat messy and be free! Suggestions:- Order food for your next work event from here with their catering options, you will not be disappointed at all and your team will love you.- There's a Kingstowne location as well, visit them if it's closer."
"Lamb bowl omg! Sooo good. The wings are awesome, wish they weren't so small. This local shop has the best fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and the lamb bowls are phenomenal! Get the mumbo sauce on the side like a true native! Legends for a reason!"
"$9.99 for lunch. This included wing/breast or leg/thigh + rice and beans + salad + 3 sauces + pita bread + drink. This deal is great. It tasted good. My child loved it."
"S&G is one of our two favorite restaurants in the Kentlands, the other being Kenaki. So far we've loved everything about S&G, from the tasty well-prepared reasonably priced tasty dishes (check out the specialsn!) to the well made drinks and the great mix of music, and particularly the friendly, talented staff that brings in a happy crowd of good people."
"Shrimp fajita grits and whiting with Mac/cheese were ordered. The service was great! Inside, there was a sign stating that they had recently painted so part of the lobby was blocked off with limited seating available to dine. The food was less than ok with the exception of the fish which my son said was excellent. It is not somewhere I'll visit in the future."
"I think I found my favorite Chi Mc location! We came here for an early dinner, and we ordered:+Tteokbokki - while the dduks were soft and chewy and the sauce was creamy, this was just way too spicy for me!+Japchae - super oily and greasy, this was just okay in flavors; the hubs enjoyed this, but we wouldn't order this again+a medium order of wings - we opted for the soy garlic flavor, requesting extra sauce; the batter/coating was so much better, and the soy garlic flavor was on point - the wings were prepared perfectly, it was crispy, and the sizes of the wings were great!Service was friendly and pretty efficient, considering that there were many call-aheads and to-go orders.Note that the wings are made-to-order, and ours took about 35 minutes, as quoted.Plenty of seating inside, and the place is clean and well-kept.Located in the plaza off of Beulah, next to Matsui, there's parking available; it can get filled up quickly, though!+soy garlic wings+friendly service+parking available"
"Came in for an early dinner. We ordered the snow onion garlic tenders and they were amazing. So crispy and they had a little spice to them. We also had the Tender Tikku Garlic Soy. It was equally as good. The service was excellent and quick. Seems like most people take food to go as opposed to dining in. We definitely will be back."

Decent place, very casual and very fun. I came here alone for dinner, and I was seated shortly after joining the Yelp waitlist. It seems like it gets busy but turnover is quite quick, so that was nice. I ordered the creamy truffle chicken ramen, which was a special, and quite enjoyed it! The truffle taste was a bit mild, but the broth was creamy and savoury. The noodles were a little more cooked than I like them, but overall a good bowl of noodles for a decent price. I came here instead of Daikaya, so no idea how it stacks up, but still a delicious dinner steps away.

Service of this spot was excellent! Seemed like the owner of the place. He was so sweet and checked in on us to make sure everything was good :)I was pleasantly surprised by the Eggplant dish. Nice and soft with a not too sweet sauce. I would definitely get it again. Popcorn chicken was good along with the lo mein. The seating is cozy and homey. Felt traditional and welcoming to guests. Definitely visiting again!

Decided to visit uncle C's after seeing the hyper on TikTok. I got the 5 piece fried chicken with 2 waffles, Mac & cheese, candied yams, 2 sides of cornbread, banana pudding.Fried chicken- 5/5. Got dark meat, chicken tasted home cooked, crispy and seasoned. Delicious. Waffles- 4/5 good waffles. Nothing crazy. Great size! Mac & cheese- 2/5 mainly cheese, no macaroni and no flavor.Candied yams-4.5/5 pretty sweet, but really good. May be a little too sweet for some people.Cornbread-4/5 good! Moist, small size, only 89 cents a piece.Banana pudding- 1/5 too much real banana was in it. I love banana pudding but this tasted like it was made for banana lovers with extra bananas which I don't personally care for. Overall, food was fairly good! We visited on Sunday around 1pm and it was pretty packed. After waiting a few minutes for a food, a table became ready! There is ample parking in a parking lot. Everyone is helpful. The restaurant is very clean!

If you like chicken sandwiches then this is the place for you. The level of heat will choose your sauce and choose wisely, they don't lie! They are super busy during a standard dinner rush and there is always a line, small place so not a tone of space, but if you call ahead you won't wait long.

Excellent Peruvian chicken restaurant. The chicken has been well seasoned. It's not too salty or too bland. Some restaurants season the chicken excessively. I like Peruvian chicken, and this is one of my favorite locations to get it! The green sauce with the chicken is fantastic here, delicious and spicy. It's relatively clean!

This is the first time coming to this place and it was amazing. The sauces were really good and the chicken was not dry but flavorful! They work pretty quickly and it is a seat yourself kind of situation. There are not that many seats in the place so I recommend taking it to go or not going with a large group.

Arrived around 1:00 and was greeted by a nice gentleman. He quickly took my order. Food was ready in about five minutes. Chicken had good flavor and the sides were good. Will return next time I'm in the area at lunch time.

"Our family loves Peruvian chicken. It is a favorite of our whole family. My son was picking up Poyoteca for the two of us. I wasn't feeling well and he was so sweet to bring dinner over. Sorry, I just was not a fan. The chicken tasted spicy to me. I don't know if someone heavy handed the turmeric, but it did not taste good. Now, people who like the spice, may enjoy this chicken. The yucca were very good. They were hot and crispy. We also ordered the rice and beans. They were fine. My son picked up the food and the service was good. It didn't take long for the order to be ready. The ambiance is clean and attractive. My son really enjoyed his meal. I just think that we are lucky enough to be in an area with lots of Peruvian chicken restaurants. This one was not a favorite of mine."
"Galbi lover??? SAY LESS!!!! This is your new favorite spot! Drop everything and get your butt over here now! I'm not kidding. The bowls here are ahh-mazing! The portions are very generously sized, not to mention the Galbi is full of flavor! The bowl came with lettuce greens, japchae (glass noodles), and pickled radish. The other bowls are pretty good too but I have to say the Galbi is the star of the show. Very simplistic menu and even some small dishes for the side. I tried the chicken nuggets with the KFC sauce, which was okay. I would recommend if you get a drink to try the Jeju Yuzu Ade (a citrus fruit lemonade). It's super refreshing and pairs really well with the food! Staff is super friendly and you can always ask them if you got questions!"
"I have always seen this place but never thought to try it. Had a craving for some lomo saltado, they had it on the menu, so why not. Ordered two; one for me and one for the him. It takes ten minutes to make, so I went to grab something from the grocery store next door. It looked like it was a fairly nice potion for the price point, which is less than other restaurants. I noticed that there were smaller pieces of beef and not as many veggies. Also, the French fries were definitely of the frozen ore ida variety. All in all it was okay in a pinch, I didn't mind it. The rice had a great flavor, the beef had a nice flavor too, but needed to be cooked more. The fries were an afterthought. I wish they put in more veggies. The hubs said it was a no go for him...Can't say that I'd come back for this dish."
"Love the decor in here and the food is always amazing! I prefer picking up or eating at the restaurant than getting it delivered through one of the service apps. The food tastes more fresh and you get the good pieces! You can never go wrong getting the classics- 1/2 chicken dark meat, lomo and yuca for the side."
"I pass by this spot all the time and the smells finally won me over! The chicken is cooked to perfection! I got a 1/4 dark and it was some of the juiciest I've ever had. I thought it might be just because they had just opened up for the day but I went back the next day at a later time and the chicken was just as fresh. The yuca is delicious here and seems like they always have some fresh out of the fryer. The sauces are all tasty and I can't pick a favorite. This place is the real deal! I'll be back soon"
"This Korean fried chicken spot is a solid cheat-day pick! I ordered the half-and-half whole chicken (original and hot spicy). They cut the breast into wing-sized pieces, which I didn't mind. The original was my favorite--crispy, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The hot spicy had good flavor but didn't win me over as much. The cheese ddeok-bokki was indulgent and packed with salty, sweet, spicy, cheesy goodness--definitely a comfort food splurge. I didn't care too much for the side radish but its radish. A whole chicken easily feeds 2-4 people. I was stuffed after just three pieces and some ddeok-bokki."
"There really is no shortage of Peruvian restaurants in the NOVA area, but as far as I'm concerned, Justa's Chicken is the lip smacking best!!!First off, they are open early on Sundays, which is appropriate since their chicken is tantamount to a religious experience. Loaded with all the right spices, it is a mouthwatering feast that is bound to satisfy the most discerning roasted chicken aficionado. There were a lot choices from which to choose in Justa's Chicken Heaven, but I opted for their batter dipped breast of chicken, a succulent slab of all things yum. And as if this delicious meal wasn't enough, Justa's Chicken's selection of traditional Peruvian sauces took my bird to the next level. (Trust me the creamy white sauce is the bomb!).Yup, hands down, this is the fried/roasted chicken that will wash away all of your culinary sins and restore your foodie soul."
"Not sure how I have never been to this place considering I literally live right down the street and love all things Latin cuisine.Located in Fairway shopping center, plenty of parking. Signage says "chicken".I ordered two papusa revueltas and black beans. Papusas are my jam! These days this warms my heart and my belly. The papusa like most places comes with slaw and a sauce. The slaw is yummy but I also prefer mine with a bit more spice so I don't generally use my own sauce. The papusa was delightful but came a part as I was eating it, I'm not used to that. I think it was because they were packed with goodness. The slaw was delish, I really enjoyed it. The beans were aiight, a little under seasoned for my taste, but that can be fixed. I will be returning, because my belly is happy!"
"My first visit to here was a few months after they opened, and since then every order we had has been on point. We have a franchise in Waldorf but it does NOT measure up to this particular location. My kids always get the Korean Soy Garlic Chicken and rice and it's always fresh, hot and tasty!Space is a bit small, but we always get our order to go, so I can't say how "crowded" it gets.Service has always been pleasant and I appreciate that."
"Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. I got the chicken platter with rice and vegetables. They give you a lot of food which is nice. Definitely going to get a few meals out of it. The chicken has a great flavor. I'm not sure what is in the sauce but it's good. I also got a side of hummus which was tasty but they only give you half a pita. Had to pay extra for more and it was very cold and kind of stale. Also would have liked more of the vegetables to mix in with the chicken and rice. Overall though it was good."
"First time at Chick'n Broth and pleasant surprise. The place rocks modern interior vibes. The chicken pho is so rich and flavorful it elevates comfort food to the next level. We also ordered tender beef which came macaroni and a fried egg. Is the pasta super? Let me put it this way. It's something we used to eat at home or on the streets in the Philippines and for that reason, the macaroni reunites you with flavors you grew up as a child. The beef is seared, yet very tender and oozes with flavors. And for this, Chick'n Broth gets my 5 stars because I'm coming back. And to think I haven't even tasted their well reviewed crispy fried chicken. Oh, I also saw appetizing fried rice on the next table. Until the next visit!"
"Chi Mc has finally arrived in Centreville! I didn't have the opportunity to try out their Chantilly location, sadly, so i'm glad that they found a new spot. This location takes over the old TapEx/Heo Tea spot in the Centreville Square II shopping plaza. The fried chicken is SO crunchy and flavorful! It came out piping hot and fresh. I got the medium order of drums and wings with half soy, half spicy. Spicy was my favorite. It was more than enough for two people. I also ordered the mandu which was crispy (pan fried) and served with a delicious sauce. The ambiance of this place is nice -- not too loud, and with a lot of tables. Service was great. I can't really say anything more than, it's great there is another tasty KFC joint in Centreville!"
"The food is so so good! They don't deliver to my address as I am outside their zone but I don't mind picking it up because it is that good! Best Chinese food I think I have ever had!"
"Live like there'll be no tomorrowPut this in your mouth and then swallowWhen in Silver SpringThere is only one thingTo eat: chicken and sauce from Don Pollo!First there was Don Quixote, Don Corleone, and Don Henley. Now there is Don Pollo. My notes say - pretty yummy chicken, cheap, not bad at all, sauces were just fine, service friendly.Considering that it is one of the less heralded places for Peruvian chicken in the area, it was actually pretty impressive. Definitely more Salvadoran than it is Peruvian, but absolutely worth your time, and they were pretty friendly as well which was an added bonus. So if you're driving by, Pollo-ver to the side and try this out."
"Hangry Joe's is another fried chicken joint. Mostly chicken fingers but you can also get a "sando" or sandwich (I learn new lingo everyday). Basically fingers and fries. These are different fingers though -- the breading I believe has a sort of Korean-ish taste to it, with varying degrees of heat from none to volcano. Not my favorite but I won't downgrade a rating just because I personally don't like the flavors. It is good. My buddy loves it.One huge plus -- these are all cooked to-order so it was amazingly fresh --- and HOT. We actually had to sit back and stare at our food for a couple of minute before we could eat to let it cool down a bit.We ordered at a small kiosk and in a few minutes the waitstaff brought our food. This place is great if you like chicken fingers with a different flair. I don't know if I'll go again, but I know my buddy will."
"After taking in one of the museums in the area, we decided to walk to the Wharf to eat. We decided to give this place a try and it did not disappoint! You get plenty of food and it tastes good. A definite must try and don't forget to get the cornbread! The only con is that they are short on staff so you have to be patient with the service.Overall, we'll be back!"
"I had come here after a workout and originally wanted to work at a coffee shop down the street but felt compelled to come by and see their amazing donut selection. I have gone to Astro donuts plenty of times and frequented the DC location more times and more calories that I care to admit. In fact, I was going to grab some sweet surprises and walk back to the coffee shop. However, I saw that they had coffee and asked if they had free Wi-Fi and I was SOLD! Plus, they have a much more open area with a cute little seating area. I also tried one of their hot spicy coffees and it had a nice kick to it and who doesn't love the kick of the caffeine to wake you up! My goal is to always try a new donut, but some of my top faves include the peanut butter jelly, the creme brulee and the seasonal cherry blossom. You won't be disappointed. On this trip, I decided to try the lemon meringue and the chocolate chip cookie dough. - lemon meringue - I have to say that the lemon meringue flavors, and the oozing of the lemon topped with the meringue was so delightful that I feel that it's my all-time favorite donut. - chocolate chip cookie dough - I thoroughly enjoyed this which was also full of chocolate goodness with those chips on the outside. The icing on the top was the cookie dough ball in the middle. Hi-five and bravo for these two new donuts I got to try. Now, what should I try next. Send me a message of your favorites."
"I probably order from here at least 2x a month. Yes, food is amazing! If you love southern style chicken with an Asian flare, this is the spot. The restaurant itself is a bit small and not really a dine in type. The inside is more like a takeout. They do have outdoor seating.I usually order ahead for pickup through their website and it's super quick. The staff is always very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!"
"Excellent food here. Quick and good sized portions. Have had the jerk chicken often and it's always great."
"Let me tell y'all about my favorite lunch spot. I work around the corner, and everyone gets tired of the mundane fast food. Think fresher, more flavorful Chipotle and for about the same price. I normally get the chicken bowl and prefer it to the shrimp bowl I had today (only because you get 5 shrimp, and I'm greedy). The service is so nice. They are polite and will let you sample things if it's your first time. I always get the bowl but I've heard great things about the half chicken, carne asada, and yucca. My bowl always has the rice, black beans, pico, mozz, and green spicy sauce. The green beans are a must! So good. Honestly best green beans I've ever had. If you're in Greenbelt, you have to try it."
"Finally tried this place after noticing it the last time I stopped at 7-11. Ordered online and picked it up right when it said it was ready. Food was hot and fresh. I got a smash burger and seasoned fries. Burger was really good. Lots of flavor! Only thing was that the cocktail sauce was pretty spicy. So make sure you like spicy or ask for the sauce on the side. I will definitely come back to try the fried chicken sandwich which looks so amazing and if it's anything like the burger it will be!Service was very friendly! Happy to have found this place so close to home!"
"A DC institution, even after a fire that burned it down lol, Mister Rotisserie is the place that is ever reliable. Where else can you get a rotisserie chicken - at 3 AM?"
"Tried Hangry Joe's today and the food was terrific. I ordered the medium dry wings and spicy soy garlic wings. The wings are quite large, juicy and cooked to perfection. The medium dry rub was seasoned perfectly and the Spicy soy garlic was spot on. The waffle fries are solid as welland it was well worth the $18 I spent. I'll definitely be going back again! This might just be my new go-to wings place!"
