The bartenders were busy at first but I thought surely they would at least greet me after a bit. No, they checked with the regulars next to me to see if they wanted refills and just made casual conversation. After 15 minutes I left and went to Cheesecake Factory."

"Whaaaaaattttt? How have I not reviewed one of my fav 3 dive bars ever???Well, it is not actually that divey but it's a local institution. Ask for their whiskey options and you'll spend the whole night going through the menu. Ask for the beer options, you'll be handed a book. Love the Friday nights for the live music. It was my staple for many years, even if for 30 mins. Probably brought all my friends who visited me when I was staying in DTown SS. It was also a great first date place. Tater tots was a must along with their regular burgers (without cheese). Although it closed in 2015 after the devastating fire for many months, was extremely happy to see it re-open after many months. QHT : May you spread happiness for many more decades."

"Got a customized grilled chicken sandwich with tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños and aioli with pickle fries. Somewhat greasy, but that's what I expected. It was a really great chicken sandwich and the pickle fries were a new item that came with aioli. The area is super cute and there's a lot of Christmas things up right now and you can do pick up at a window outside, which is really convenient for us. The woman at the window was very kind and also gave us water. Overall super affordable (sandwich ~11, pickle fries ~5), cute area, quick pick up. Definitely drop by!"

"BEST CHICKEN WINGS I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Seriously, this place is the BEST! They don't even have a restaurant. It's a carryout only place and SUPER casual. You place your order at the front, specifying the type of chicken, with bones or boneless, and the dipping sauce.I ordered the spicy garlic wings (10 of them), while my fiancé ordered the honey bbq (10 of them as well). We both ordered ranch sauce with it, but they honestly don't even need sauce - they're ambrosial on their own!HOLY COW (or chicken, rather). Each one of those chicken wings were absolutely divine. I ate every single last one, despite being very full! The spicy garlic was absolutely perfect. This place is conveniently located on Wisconsin Ave in Georgetown and I am jealous of everyone living near there. If I lived close by, I'd be getting Wingo's to go at least twice a week!! You place your order and either wait outside on a bench or you can walk around (generally takes around 10-15 minutes for your food to be ready). We opted to walk to a bookstore nearby while we waited.Oh. My. God. The best wings ever. I'm not even kidding. This place is extraordinary. Heaven!"

"Okay, I have to admit something: this is my closet eating joint. But mostly because I'm always shocked that there's never more than a handful of people in, no matter what time of day. I love a good mediocre smash burger, which is exactly what you're getting here. You could go to the other side of the mall for Shake Shack, or you can take advantage of the lunch time combo special and spend less money for just about the same quality. No, you don't get the fancy stuff, but you do get a burger and side and drink with arguably better service for a better price."

The service is a bit of a mess at times (I get the feeling that this place does a lot of delivery/pick-up work), but the wait isn't too bad. This definitely isn't my favorite place to grab a burger in the area (the competition is fierce on that front - there are a LOT of places nearby that offer fantastic burgers), but it's not bad in a pinch."

I believe we had to wait almost 5 mins until someone asked if we've been helped. Once we were sat, the service got a lot better. Can't remember her name but our server was really cool. I got a skinny marg and it was crazy strong. I was having trouble finishing it. We made our own pizza with our choice of toppings (bacon, mushrooms and onions). I actually loved the Detroit style pizza--especially the corner slices. I just wish the service and drinks were a bit better."

"I stumbled upon Makers Union while searching for a dinner spot with available seating, and I'm so glad I did. The staff greeted my party warmly, and we were seated promptly.Makers Union offers an extensive menu, including a great selection of drinks from the bar. We started with the Nachos as an appetizer (not pictured), and the portion was generous enough to satisfy our group of five. The prices are reasonable across the board for both appetizers and entrées.I ordered the Makers Flatiron Steak with Fries, and I was especially impressed by the broccolini it came with--perfectly seasoned and a great complement to the meal. My friends ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, Lamb Chop, and Alfredo Pasta, and they all enjoyed their dishes as well! The ingredients were fresh, and the meats were cooked to perfection. The quality of both the food and the service was excellent.There's plenty of seating, whether you prefer indoor, outdoor, or bar seating, making it ideal for larger groups. I ordered the union burger and it was a symphony of soft deliciously cooked medium rare beef patty, brioche style bun, and came all dressed with bacon, cheese, lettuce and condiments. A giant burger to die for with A huge serving of delectable fries, and a spear of pickle. My wife ordered the pan seared cod. Soft succulent fish cooked to perfection. The pictures don't do it justice.The ambience with lots of families and young couples from the neighborhood was completely unique and a remarkable throwback to a different era.The service from Kristi, Amir, and Esteban was as though we were sitting at home. "So my need for Peruvian chicken has returned big time. I have been shopping at the mostly empty Safeway nearby. And so I've been stopping at this Super Pollo rather than Quincy St for takeout. During the epidemic I just want to shop at places where I'm in and out and home in a hot minute. This fits the bill. The chicken is excellent. And I love both locations for spinach. They aren't exactly the same, they both have potatoes in it, but this location has more tomatoes, which is pretty yummy, so are yucca fries. This is a very inexpensive, very fast solution to dinner. If you haven't had Peruvian chicken haul yourself to a super pollo location. Especially if you're a person who likes well-seasoned food, that rotisserie chicken in the grocery store is just light on flavor. Half a chicken and two sides will cost you about $11 and you'll have leftovers."

I asked if they could top off my coffee which they said no to. That was a small bummer. Place is nice, clean, well decorated with stylish pics of their egg sandwiches. Good music ("Change is Gonna Come," "I'll Take You There,") played, perhaps a touch too loud for early on a Saturday. Sandwich and coffee was $18. Not outrageous, but a lot more than the greasy spoon near my office downtown."

The food at Infuse is darn right GOOOOOD!! I've been stopping by Infuse periodically for about 4 years now and I've NEVER had a bad experience. The crab and shrimp flat bread is a straight up HIT. You will never find better shrimp and grits and the Mac and Cheese ranks right up there with my dear Grandmother (RIH)!! As you might imagine from my opening soliloquy, they don't cheat on the drinks so don't leave twisted.. call an UBER!! LOLI love a good neighborhood hole in the wall but Infuse seems like a bit more than that. It has somewhat of a family feel and once you've stopped in a couple times you'll definitely be part of the family. The service was neither bad nor friendly. Just basic. We ordered two bowls the Korean one and the Buffalo chicken one, and one sandwich, The Animal! We ordered to go and ate it in the car because seating is very limited and it's not really giving the hang out vibe. Especially if it's busy. The Korean bowl was delicious and all the flavors complement one another, my daughter gave her bowl with the Buffalo chicken a 10 out of 10 and just said she wishes it was hotter, temperature wise. The animal was an 8 out of 10 . It's in a need of more sauce because with the thicker egg and hash brown it was a little dry and the egg wasn't seasoned. Or at least it didn't seem to be. Great spot, good food, if I was on foot or felt like Door Dashing an order I would go again. That is all!"
