"Found them open on Christmas day. The food was amazing!!! Our service was amazing. The ambiance, also amazing!!10 out of 10The staff was on the ball and so very nice. Decorated for Christmas and everything. It was beautiful!!"
"A few of us stopped by last Thursday evening for a quick dinner since we were already in DC. 54 Restaurant is pretty lowkey, in a quieter part of the city. A friend approved of the pho and banh mi here, so all five of us either got pho or banh mi here.PHO DAC BIET (SPECIAL BEEF COMBINATION) - 17Has basically all the meats here, like brisket, eye round steak, beef balls, tendon, etc. The broth was flavorful and lots of beef flavor. There were lots of noodles, more than I can finish and it had a good texture. Meat was pretty good quality and there was lots of it in here. The pho here is good, and I'd recommend. The few friends who ordered banh mis here all enjoyed it. Overall 4.5/5, but will bump to a 5/5."

"I've driven by here a thousand times and never stopped to even look at this place. Came here for a quick bite before going to Trader Joe's. It's pretty good! I liked the regular tonkatsu ramen better than the spicy-- the spicy miso sauce is salty. I loved the chewy noodles! Chicken karaage was just okay; I wouldn't order again but my friend loved it. I thought it needed better breading. It's as if they chopped up the chicken and fried it with no batter. Service is fast. You order on the little monitor at the table. Ambiance is BEAUTIFUL! Just look at the photos other people uploaded. Soft dim lighting with tons of cherry blossom trees!"
"Yess please!!Ive recently been turned onto Ramen..and I know Imvery late to this delicious party, but Oishii Ramen Cafe did it absolutely right!I got the volcano ramen which came with scallops, lobster, shrimp, and soft shell crab. The base sauce was flavorful and had a nice spicy kick. Our ramen was wonderfully packaged and served hot and ready. And their website is very easy to navigate.Highly recommend!"
"Pretty good service and pretty good Boba tea! Not much else to say besides that this is a great spot to stop by when you're in George Town"
"Well well! Sure you can get a cup of gossip here with some GW students happy to share some "tea" but the actual tea is the real highlight. Stopped by on a cold drizzly winter day and needed to warm up. The milk tea was the perfect pick me up with a blend of both. Lots of seating and quick service. A winner."
"Loved this spot in Logan circle. Inside is clean and fresh and calm atmosphere. We tried the 6 different dumplings and I'm glad we did. It was great trying all the different flavors. Our server was so cute and kind and they even have a robot server too."
"I had such a lovely time grabbing a drink and small bite to eat here. The customer service was fantastic and the food (Parmesan cheese fries) were really good. The inside was very clean, upbeat, and well put together. Such a great ambiance! The lemonade was a recommendation from the staff and it was a hit!!! I will definitely be returning again."

I came here because of the reviews and Vietnamese food is one of my comfort foods. I was surprised by the huge portion, but I guess that's normal in America I couldn't finish the entire bowl, but the flavor was amazing And don't forget to order the spring rolls! Crunchy and delicious!

This place was absolutely delicious! The broth had such a rich, deep flavor, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. While I could tell the bamboo shoots came from a can due to their smell, the ramen (especially the broth) was incredibly satisfying on a cold day. I'll definitely be coming back!Don't skip the bubble tea for dessert, it's so good! It can be a bit too sweet, so I recommend getting 70% sugar instead of 100%. I tried the Tsunami (Thai tea with cheese foam), and it was amazing.

This is the only bubble tea place I know that will spike your tea (for a fee). You can make alcoholic bubble teas! I haven't tried one yet but it always stood out.The drink sizes are large, one size, and you pay the DC premium. The boba is average in texture and taste but they make decent drinks in unique flavors!

The Spot of tea is located in the food court with Bakeshop in Georgetown so be sure to lookout for the sign out front. Their teas were delicious and fresh with my favorite being the strawberry matcha option. Boba was perfectly soft and service was on point.Highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon!

Yes!! I am so excited to see a solid Asian restaurant come to Waldorf. Coco Bay definitely fills a niche. The restaurant is clean and inviting. You order at the counter and then sit where ever you want. I brought my mom and we had a tasting dinner. We started with the Spicy Mango. The heat of the chili sauce was balanced perfectly by the ripe mango pieces and fresh cilantro. We then had delicious Fried Coconut Shrimp, followed by a Vegetarian Spring Roll (I think I would have preferred the Shrimp and Pork). The Shrimp Summer Roll was gummy and flavorless. We left half of those on the plate. We finished up with the delightful Bao Buns that were my favorite. I will be back and I'm coming with friends!

"Nice healthy treat for a summer day. I got plain frozen yogurt with granola, blueberries, and strawberries which was refreshing. The actual frozen yogurt was amazing. I do wish they had more frozen yogurt flavors, I believe they only have 3 in total."
"I was traveling in DC and wanted to find a boba tea spot that could cool me down while I avoided the heat. Found Gong Cha to be nearby thanks to Yelp and I knew Gong Cha was an infamous chain. There aren't any close to where I live but I have heard really great things about them! Decided to give it a try. They had street parking available around 2pm on a Saturday and the street isn't very busy. There is a brunch / beer spot next door. When we got to their door, we thought they were closed since their neon Open sign wasn't on. After trying the door, it seemed like they were indeed open. We went in and started looking at their extensive menu. I have recently converted my date into a boba tea drinker so he was definitely looking at all the cool options. We decided on a mango and a milk tea for drinks and ordered their egg waffle with ice cream to cool us down. This came out to about $20. While we waited, we noticed they had board games and a neat photo op wall. Definitely took advantage of that. It's cute! The drinks came out pretty fast and they were so good.I was actually speaking and the next thing I knew the egg waffle dessert was almost all done because he loved it so much. It was his first time trying it too. Definitely will be back!"
"Straightforward menu doesn't try to do too much. Friendly service! Nice clean flavors ensured that their bun hit the spot. Started off with summer rolls, which had perfectly cooked shrimp. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the neighborhood"
"It was a hot spring day in DC and my friend and I had just finished up eating at Poki DC, which conveniently shares the space with Gong Cha. You can tell that I'm a bubble tea aficionado when I say yes to bubble tea even after having it the day before. Here's the difference: every location will offer you something different. This location caught me with sparkling lychee boba. What in the world?! I took it and I ran with it. Sparkling lychee. Herbal Grass Jelly. Tapioca. *chef's kiss* in 80°F weather. The service was pretty good, you order through a kiosk and wait for your number to be called. Be sure to step away from the counters and the kiosks especially during lunch hour since it gets confusing with both lines going for Poki DC and Gong Cha."
"It's ok when you need a boba fix. Not the best but the only boba spot nearby. It's pretty pricey for what it is. I would have given four stars, but they use those stupid tip machines and the minimum is 20 percent and they calculate it POST tax."
"We've eaten meals from both the dining room as well as delivery. Food quality and freshness are terrific. Portions are generous. Service is super quick, friendly and orders are always accurate especially since we get mods to one of the meals. Dining room is clean. Can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I encourage you to give this wonderful restaurant a try. Their menu goes for beyond pho."
"I walk by this place on my way to work, and finally had time to stop in today for lunch. I ordered online and it was ready in under 10 minutes and ready to go when I got there. The food itself was delicious--I got the spicy chicken noodle bowl and the coffee latte bubble tea. The spicy level really wasn't that hot, but it was flavorful and filling. The bubble tea also hit the spot!Check out their specials as they do actually have some good deals. There is seating inside if you don't want to do take out."
"Great to see another Vietnamese opening up in the Clarendon neighborhood. Tried both of their Combination Pho and Bun Bo Hue, both tasted great. They are a bit more expensive than 4 sister around the corner and Pho 75 in court house but their Pho quality is way better than both. I did back to back comparison on the same day and their soup has significantly richer taste and most importantly they have better quality beef cuts in the pho. They gave you a generous quantity of meat in the pho and their beef and brisket cuts tasted great and are not dried up and tough like pho 75 and 4 sisters. I am happy to pay a little bit more for better quality pho here. This is now my go to Vietnamese Pho place in this area."
"One of my favorite boba spots in DC. Something about those tiny boba pearls just really get me. The drinks are made perfectly each time. I don't love having to order from the computer (I love human connection) but the drinks are so good that I can't complain. Can't wait to make my way thru the entire menu!"
"I'm not going to comment on any potential IP issues in the name and some of the imagery. But with respect to the food and drinks this place is solid. It's not the best bubble tea I've had - and it's definitely on the sweet side - but it's good. The food was what surprised me; the bowl I had with the yuk sung (meat floss or pork shavings) was actually really good. I'd go back for that alone, which isn't something you'd normally say about a place where the tea is supposed to be the star. Where I ding them a little is that one, the staff seemed new and not super well-trained. They struggled to explain some of their options to me. The second is their prices are very high. Be careful your meal and tea doesn't easily get into the mid 20s after a couple of tweaks. But with that qualification, I'd still say I recommend it."
"Yummy Thai is a newer eatery, and this women-owned business offers various Thai eats and boba drinks. We ordered:+Spring rolls - filled with mixed veggies and cellophane noodles; served with a sweet & sour sauce+Fried chicken wings - marinated wings, deep-fried; served with a sweet & sour sauce; comes with 6 pieces+Fried chicken bao buns - topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, and a yum yum sauce; comes with 2 pieces+Pad Thai - opted for shrimp as the protein; came with egg, scallions, bean sprouts, and topped with crushed peanuts+Kee Mao - opted for chicken as the protein; prepared with flat noodles with chili, bell peppers, onions, and basil leaves; opted out of the tomatoes+and, Thai Fried Rice - with egg, carrots, onions, and scallions; went with the chicken for the proteinStaff were friendly, and the place was clean.+women-owned+friendly service"
"Ordered online trying to save time. Thought my drink would include boba since it's the same price as another drink with boba. It did not. My fault. At pickup asked if I could just buy boba. Explained to staff that I messed up while ordering. Staff gave me the look of "go fuck yourself" and told me no. Can't just buy some boba. There's no button for that. Tea was fine. Won't go back."
