"Mannnnnn -- when I say the food was -- LIKE THAT; IT WAS -- LIKE THAT!!!!Came here the other night with two of my good friends on a Sunday Evening and it was the perfect spot to watch the game & eat some good food. There wasn't a wait or anything which was cool, although our waiter was a bit slow checking on us. Bless her heart! However, when the food did come, we didn't say much...I had the Wagyu Burger with fries and a side of Sautéed Broccolini! It was -- LIKE THAT!!! So goood. The portion size was perfect, so you don't overeat, but safe to say, I'll be ordering that again. This place was a smash for me. Will be returning. Love the spaciousness of the interior even though we sat by the bar. But what I also love is that the menu isn't lackingggg.. there are ample choices for food items which is a major plus. We see you, Maggie McFly's.We coming back for sure!"
"A wonderful cafe run by a lovely Korean couple. They use fresh ingredients, and are so friendly! I just moved to the area and found this cafe as highly rated, and I couldn't agree more! Bulgogi bowl is authentic and delicious. Panini sandwiches are amazing, especially Chipotle chicken. And freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every day! I just wish they were open on the weekends! It's a Monday-Friday cafe, catering to the office employees in the area. Definitely check it out!"

"We came here for dinner on a weekday evening and had a good experience. The meal started out with complimentary chips and salsa, and we also ordered some guacamole on the side. The guacamole was good, but the small cup was a bit expensive at $8.I got chicken fajitas, which came with onions, peppers, and zucchini, and sides of guacamole, rice, refried beans, and tortillas. I liked this, and it was a very generous portion size. I also tried my husband's mole poblano, which was good, and my kid really liked the kids' quesadilla they made him. Service was very friendly. Overall, a solid meal at a nice neighborhood spot, and we'd come back if in the area."
"Market Lunch at the Historic Eastern Market is a popular breakfast spot with a diner feel. I decided to give it a try based on the great reviews I had heard, and I was not disappointed.I opted for the stack of blueberry pancakes and a side of crispy bacon, and both dishes were absolutely delightful. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't sell coffee or juices, so I ordered lemonade instead and it was delicious. The ambiance of the place is crowded, which adds to the authentic diner experience. However, seating is limited, so it's best to arrive before 10 am to avoid long lines. The service at Market Lunch is quick and efficient, and I was pleased to find out that they now accept debit cards. Additionally, they offer uncooked crab cakes for purchase, priced at $13.50 each or $54.00 for a set of four. I'm already planning to try them on my next visit, along with their famous blubuck pancakes.Overall, Market Lunch is a must-visit for breakfast lovers who appreciate a bustling atmosphere and delicious food."
"Just an amazing Jewish Deli in downtown DC.with a ton of food options in this area this is one the best places to eat.Food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, staff is friendly, and it is not too loud even when full."
"This is a lovely mom-and-pop deli located inside the Boeing building. There's a small sign to direct you within the lobby, as it's tucked away past the elevators on the first floor. They have a salad bar (which is great), lots of traditional deli fare (subs/wraps/etc), a cooler with lots of soft drinks and teas, and a whole shelf of chips to choose from. I was already sold by their assortment of chips but the tuna salad wrap was delicious! There really is nothing like eating food prepared by a family-owned establishment. They are so warm and friendly when you walk in. Please come out and try them! Their hours are limited but if you're in the area, they are worth a stop."
"The quesabirria and chorizo tacos were slammin. Everything here is gluten free. All around excellent quality of food."
"We came into DC for a volleyball tournament. Trying to find a place to accommodate a party of 30 in the downtown area was impossible and super expensive. The Trio Bistro came through. They were accommodating and the food was fantastic. The host was super sweet! The food came out hot and the drinks were delicious! Will definitely use them again when we come back next year. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
"I've been here a couple times now and let me say this..... food was bomb both times. It's a small bar in an industrial area, but the staff was nice, drinks were on point (not too heavy, not to lite) and food was cooked to order so hot and good!!"
"Finally dined here and had a great time! I've had this place bookmarked since first visiting Hip Flask (the rooftop) some months ago. I'm so glad I visited and I can't wait to come back. Service by Griffin was amazing!!! Hands down, one of the best servers I've come across in a long time...maybe ever if I'm being honest. He was easy to chat with and so helpful. I would come back here and personally request him. That's how great he was. This 5 star review is mostly attributed to him. The food was good. I had the cornish hen for my meal, but I especially enjoyed the chimichurri sauce. I even asked for extra on the side. Sooooo good! My date had the flat iron steak cooked medium well and he enjoyed it. I like my steaks cooked medium. On my next visit, I'm getting the bone-in ribeye! I had the "Columbia Crest" red wine and it was a generous pour. I've had this wine before and I loved it. Glad it's on the menu. They also offer wine by the bottle. For dessert, we shared the banana bread pudding - it was good, but nothing I'd be pressed to try again. Overall, just a great vibe in here. On a warm October evening, there were patrons sitting outside! Parking wasn't hard. Street parking as well as a garage directly across from the hotel/restaurant. This isn't a cheap date type of place but totally worth it just for the ambiance. Thank you Seventh State for a great evening."
"Overall vibe: the place is lovely. Very esthetic and the decor seemed up with the times. Service: there was only one barista, unfortunately. I felt for him. Even with the long line, he was really nice and got our drinks in a good time. I got the iced matcha with almond milk. It was my first time so I didn't know it was very lightly sweetened. It was good but I'd ask for more sweetener next time. I'm so used to overly sweetened matcha lattes. I also got a ginger and pineapple just to go. It was good but a little bitter. I ended up adding some more pineapple to it and it balanced out."
"This was such a delicious and cute brunch spot! I got the chicken and waffles and the hibiscus mimosa, and it was such a great value for price and absolutely delicious! They also have a rooftop bar for evenings, and it's a great placeTo hang out and grab an aesthetic drink!"

I have been here over 10 times at this point. My first time here was 4 years ago. And I have been introducing many of my friends to it. This time I brought my friends from high school who live close by. They had such a hard time selecting items cause the menu is so long. That is a good thing because I get different things each time. The only thing that is consistent when I order is the chicken soup. I got the Chicken Marsala and mushrooms which was so good! I love mushrooms so I was pleased that it was coated with them. One of my friends is doing no dairy and all veggies. The other got the steak frites.

This was probably some of the best authentic Mexican food I've had! Not greasy, or overly cheesy, but just excellent, tasty food. We were served with delicious crunchy chips and salsa. As I love spicy, they also have a hotter sauce called Voodoo. Be warned it's very spicy, but tasty, I loved it! We started off with their award-winning Margaritas (try it with the spicy salt), which was amazing! For appetizers, the Guacamole and their Nacho Macho (nachos with beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream, etc on top) were a big hit. Both tasty and devoured quick, ended up ordering around round of guac. As for the main entrees, it ranged from Quesadilla, Tostadas, Enchiladas served with rice and pico de gallo on the side. Our group shared the dishes and all had unique tastes. We ended with Churros for dessert. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable especially with some in our group having dietary restrictions and nut allergies. I have to give a shout out to the owner who took care of us and made it special as we were celebrating a birthday. I was wary of the location at first due to parking, but just wait for a few mins, and typically restaurant patrons are in and out, so parking eventually becomes avaliable and its free. If you have to park on Wilson Blvd, you have to feed the meter (free after 8pm on Saturdays, free all day Sundays). This place and the restaurants that share the building have done an excellent job making this a fun, beautiful space! The area around the restaurant is very well developed with condos and the vibe is chill, quiet. Great for families or even a date night!

I'll give this review as a New Yorker now residing in DC and an avid food lover. First, this place is a gem and I can see why some Yelpers expressed the joy felt when visiting not only Market Lunch but Eastern Market. It reminded me of the old Downtown Brooklyn in NYC, before unidentifiable changes. This place promotes small businesses, most of who offer authentic pastries, meat selections, spices, and even homemade pasta. If you haven't visited Eastern Market then you're missing out on a small yet beautiful place. That said, please don't come here expecting immediate access to seating nor look for anything other than lemonade, sweet tea, and sodas to drink. They offered coffee but I passed on purchasing because the creamer stood outside on the counter and could have been placed in a small refrigerated area. Also, going back to my New York roots, this place reminded me of a deli, bodega, corner store, small shop where I ordered some of the best sandwiches and breakfast specials...if you know, you know *Jlo voice LOL* Anyway, back to being serious. Don't come here expecting seating and fancy fixing, it's a deli styled setup where you order with the cashier and wait for your number to be called. While waiting, I highly advise you to look for seating and if you find it, grab it! Or else you'll be standing for a long time. Service: it's fast paced so don't expect to take your time. Immediately look at the menu beforehand and know that the cashier is going to be moving quickly. Also, they do accept cards and cash so either will do. Beverages: nothing much to choose from but what we did enjoy was their tart and delicious lemonade. If they bottled this, I would purchase it! No questions asked. It was such a delicious, sweet, and tarty party! lol Food: I ordered the blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. Now, the blueberries were missing, I actually counted 6, but my boyfriend had way more in his pancakes and noticed that they all stood in the center of the pancake and were not evenly distributed. Aside from that disproportioned blueberries, this pancake won on buttery flavor and lightness. Paired with a side of crispy bacon (3 to be exact) my boyfriend meanwhile had 6 on his plate...not sure how they divided things when you're paying the SAME price?! But, I was pleasantly impressed with my pancakes and bacon and would definitely stop by again. Price: total for 2 orders of blueberry pancake (2 each) 2 orders of bacon (one order with 3 and the other with 6 strips) 2 orders of lemonade-total $36...not bad considering that this might be the price for breakfast for one at some locations. Advice: if you plan on enjoying the breakfast there, please arrive before 10am. We were there before 10 am and after a small wait, we finally got our hands on seating. Then, by 10:10am, the crowd started rushing in and the line began growing. I noticed people struggling to find seating (cafeteria style-long counter) resulting in them taking their orders to go. Would I return? Absolutely! I'd return before 10am and probably take my order to go. Would I order the pancakes again? I would probably try the buckwheat blueberry's next time or simply stick with plain because the low provision of blueberries didn't make me feel as if I was eating a blueberry pancake. Overall, support small businesses and support community favorites, I surely will!

let's start with the positive - the meats (tried corned beef and brisket) were tasty. Sliced thin and piled on the sandwiches.but everything else is a mess. they're still new so may give them another shot down the line, but the experience was very hectic. placed an order online at 1pm on a sunday - quoted 30 minutes. arrived 10 minutes early and was told there were 5 orders ahead of mine. received the "order ready" text at 45 minutes, but the employees couldn't find the order so they fired another, which was ready 60 minutes after ordering. The place was packed, literally no seats available, and every dine-in order was taking over 60 minutes. The staff were disorganized, all working from one screen display showing all orders. the pickle bar was 80% empty, and the containers that had pickles in them, also had the tongs that are handled by every customer submerged in them. The pickle bar was not refilled once during the 40 minutes we waited. For the food - the reuben was decent. a ton of corned beef, and didn't get much flavor from the other components (thousand island, kraut, swiss, rye). the bread was sliced thin and as a result, soggy. The jewish cheesesteak was better - a steak and cheese with cole slaw and russian dressing. hot pepper cheese got lost, as did the fried onions. bread was ok, soft roll. tried three flavors of rugelach - none stood out, all were on the sweeter side, and texture was pretty hard overall. the sugar cookie was nice, firm on the bottom but soft inside and not too sweet.

Amazing little place with great food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I much prefer this place to Jason's deli, though you don't get the free soft serve. A previous review said it was tucked inside a luxury apartment building. If they're talking about the Julian apartments, it's actually the building to the left of it. Go give it a try. I highly recommend.

This place healed me after a long, cold walk in the snow. The bean and cheese tetela was delicious---it was my first time having one and felt like the perfect comfort food. The shrimp aguachiles and quesabirria tacos were also excellent, but the standout of my meal was the menudo---I basically finished my friend's bowl. It was comforting and light but with an indescribable depth of flavor. Also free chip refills!

Excellent spot for outdoor drinks and people watching. We stopped by on a sunny Saturday with my wife and daughter - the crowd was quite diverse. On the day we visited, there was an adult kickball team celebrating what appeared to be a victory, people with pets, groups of friends and couples. It was a fun place to go, drinks are reasonably priced, and there are plenty of options to choose from. Since all of the action in NW DC happens on 17th Street, this is the place to be!

"Always great! Normally only go for breakfast and it really takes me home. Garlic fried rice and tocino?! Heck yes thanks. Really has a homey feel to the place. Always welcoming and the staff is great. I love the canned Calamansi juice they serve here and all the dishes we have had have been that authentic taste. Great parking! Make sure to use the vinegar sauce!"
"The food and service were outstanding! We travel to Washington, D.C., annually for work and absolutely love it. This was our first time dining here, and it's now a must-visit for us moving forward. The restaurant has that perfect divey atmosphere with a great vibe, and our waitress was fantastic. We would definitely come again and try new items!"

"Short review alert! If you want something more than IHOP or Bob Evan's then Iron Rooster is the place for you. Iron Rooster reminds me of "Eggspectation" in Crofton, which has always been a favorite of mine. My crabcake Benedict and her waffle were slammin!!! I don't have the opportunity to eat scrapple often and their portions are huge and cooked to perfection! Our server was nice but service was just a lil off. She was slightly forgetful. Located inside "The Hotel" in College Park, Iron Rooster is large and has a full bar. No doubt, Iron Rooster will be in my heavy breakfast rotation.. and oh yeah, parking is free with validation..DOPE!!!"
"Hosted TEAM CRUZ Holiday & Food& Service (Kim $ Jeff) was amazing Thank you for the great set up"
"First time here and we throughly enjoyed the drinks and food. We had Melon con Piña which was delicious as was the Horchata. I had also tried the Michelada Especial which was an added plus! Tried their pupusas ( so good!) and it came with 3 different sauces. Our server was great, she was attentive and very kind. I would definitely come back again specially because it's a pretty modern Salvadoran spot."
"I really like this place and the food is quite good. The woman owner is lovely. I first met her more than 20 years ago at their grand opening. I left Virginia for a number of years. Now that I am back and was so near, I stopped in for a Saturday brunch treat. The menu (and there is a QR if you like to order on your phone) is not huge but provides enough choices with many breakfast items and drinks. This is a great place for vegetarians and even has some vegan offerings but also some traditional meat dishes. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.I had the breakfast dish with eggs, Kitcha fitfit, and fu'ul. It was delish and ample. I also had the organic flaxseed drink (smoothie with soy milk base) to go. I asked for it without the honey and it still tasted so good. I saw people next to me eating french toast and it looked fluffy and super delish. The only down side to this place is that there is so little seating and it is lively -you will be sitting close to others and hear a bit of their convos even if you don't want to listen. That shouldn't be a deterrent, though, because the food is worth it and the ambience is still nice and friendly. I would say there is table seating for about 25 people plus an additional 10 barstool seats at the counter.Everyone up in the joint while I was there was probably Eritrean or Ethiopian with a couple of exceptions, including me. I say that in a good way, because it means people are going there because the food is authentic and good. If you are not familiar with Eritrean food, I highly recommend it.This cafe is a bit of fushion, bringing together American and Eritrean fare that has something for everyone (vegetarians, vegans, and carnivores). Besides breakfast/brunch items that are offered all day long (yay!), they offer salads, soup, sandwiches, pasta dishes, pastries, and traditional meals (veggie only or chicken, lamb, fish, or shrimp based dishes). The have a nice drink menu that includes a variety of coffee items, traditional tea with cinnamon and cardamom, and the organic flaxseed smoothie which I recommend.I would give this place 4.5 stars, because it is tiny and can be crowded during peak times. It's too small to have more than one waitress with the owners assisting. I am not criticizing anyone for that -it's just a small business. It's casual with a good ambience, clean, enjoyable, and the waitress/owners are nice. More importantly, the food is very good and it is clear the owners care about healthy and tasty meals. I highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or a casual dinner... and for take out. Lovely cafe and I wish the owners another 20+ years of business success. Great addition to the neighborhood."
"This place is really great with lots of options for drinks and snacks - the best part is definitely the spacious patio with fire pits and lots of seating so it's easy to relax while still being socially distant."
"It was my first time in person ordering, I usually order on uber. I recommend both options. Some items are limited on uber so I do recommend in person but both options are great to try their amazing food. The cashier was so nice and informative. I subscribe to their instagram for menu updates and I got to meet the lady in all the videos. She was very sweet in person. I am in love with everything on their menu from the turon, strawberry matcha, and the lechon. I continue to be loyal regular and never once got disappointed. I highly recommend giving them a try if you like Filipino food or haven't tried such cuisine."
"Delicious food ! Everything is made to order so it may take a little bit long. The prices are great, the drinks are delicious. It tends to get busy on a weekend evening so it might not be easy to find a seat in the dining area. They have a small bar as well.In the warmer months there is a patio for outdoor seating. We've also ordered for pick up and the portions were just as great and everything was fresh. This is definitely a place we will continue to visit & enjoy!"
"Dalia's Falafel spot is a gem in the city of downtown Bethesda. I go here weekly to grab lunch since I work across the street and the workers are always so friendly. The food is always super fresh and delicious. I usually get the bowl with both falafel and the beef kabobs (which are pretty spicy BTW). However I recently discovered their chicken schnitzel and that is also so good so now I have to rotate my menu items around and pick based on what I am feeling. On nice weather days, I can outside where they have a patio with chairs too. If you want some amazing food, check this place out immediately."
"It was amazing! The carne asada hash skillet & french toast were perfection! They have coffee and water in their waiting area that made the 10 minute wait go by in a breeze. Also, the entire sidewalk was thoroughly salted and we felt so safe! Manager and server were friendly and very knowledgeable! Highly recommend!"
"I guess have never reviewed the union market location - just as good as the others, with a slightly abridged menu (no bogan bun :/). But the lucky bun/belly bun will do (and the chicken sandos), love the thick cut fries and this location has "patatas bravas" aka their fries served with a side of romesco which are delicious. Messy, delicious burgers, melty gouda with a nice peppery/fresh bite from arugula, really like their meat mix/seasoning."
"Place used to be great and taste amazing. Used to frequent both annandale and Arlington locations.Recently prices have gone up and chicken portions are now smaller which leads to a dryer chicken. Hopefully portion go back to what it used to be."
"My wife and I visited Mikey and Mel's deli in Fulton Maryland today. It was about half full of customersAlways looking for a great deli that might hold a candle to the New York institutions like Carnegie's, Katz's and 2nd Ave. deli. This fell shortFirst about the serviceThe server did not know details about the items on the menu. Part of our order was not delivered, and I had to flag down the hostess at the front to try to get it to our tablethough very pleasant, the service was only fair. The foodI ordered the corned beef on rye with mustard and french fries. The rye bread was very fresh, the mustard was a normal deli.mustard, and the corned beef was first cut very flavorful and very enjoyable. The french fries however, were mushy, cold, and soggy. The pickles. When we finally got the pickles, the plate contained a full sour, a half sour, and dill pickle chips. The full sour was a very well executed pickle. Just enough fermentation, ample crunch, and great flavor. The pickle chips were also crunchy flavorful and very well executed. The half sour was disappointing. It needed longer in the brine. Overall, I would give our experience a three.Four for the corned beef sandwich. Two for the french fries3 1/2 for the picklesTwo for the service"
"I came here years ago, when it was new and super trendy. It was amazing back then, but I haven't been back until last weekend, for a pre-theater brunch. I wasn't sure how it would age - it can be hard for a place to stay so good for so long! But let me tell you, it was just as good as before! The food was delicious, our server was lovely and perfectly attentive without being annoying, and the interior is timeless. We had the steak tartare to start, which was divine. I had the mussels which were probably the best I've ever had, and my husband had the duck confit - to die for. It was such a lovely meal, we won't wait years to return!"
"Best egg and cheese sandwich around, by far. Ginger coffee has a great kick to it. Everything is made fresh and is delicious. Love this little place!"
"Stopped by for brunch and the food is amazing! The servers and bartenders are very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a very relaxed atmosphere. I couldn't recommend this place more."
"Let's talk Härth at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. I saw their ad in this group for a three course meal for $49 per person. We went to the restaurant and were welcomed by Rachel, the food and beverage director. We were the first customers tonight and it turns out they have only recently opened for dinner with a new French chef, Laurent Hollaender. We ended up not ordering from the prix fixe menu, even though it's a great deal with the filet mignon itself being $49. It will be there through July. We shared the excellent calamari and I saw tarte flambee Alsacienne on the menu but the waiter didn't know much about it.I wanted to know if it was anything like the Flammkuche or Tarte Flambee we know from southwestern Germany and the Elzas.Chef Laurent himself came to our table and he actually grew up in the Elzas (it's where my husband's family comes from). He personally vowed the tarte flambee is authentic and it is! I can't tell you how excited we are! We have not *ever* found a true Flammkuche in the US! The charcuterie plate is all locally sourced cheese and meats and Laurent is clearly excited about everything here.To end our meal Laurent and Rachel sent a plate of scallops and they're amazing! The carrot puree and capers, pine nuts and other ingredients we didn't recognize are the perfect companions.Other things that we learned is that their honey is very local. They get it from the bee hives on the roof of the hotel.Besides that they have their own hydroponic herbs. We love the sustainable cooking, Chef Laurent, and all we ate. Go check out Härth!"
"Food and customer service was GREAT! The food hit the spot when you're looking for home cook quick meal. There's seating and carry out."
"A vegetarian's take on this bougie place we went to for my daughter's birthday. The decor is always the first thing that decides where I choose to dine! So without a doubt, their interior design is top notch. I didn't understand the thematics of it, nonetheless, this space is done well. The booth we were assigned was especially cozy, we had requested a good seating since it was daughter's birthday. I absolutely appreciated the booth they assigned. It was a semi-circle seating with a fancy chandelier. Ask for this if you are party of 4! The food we ordered:The avocado toast 5/5 - can't go wrong! The chips with spinach and artichoke dip - 5/5 The cauliflower hummus - wouldn't order that again. Strongly recommend you don't order that. The entree was a red sauce pasta that had a good garlic flavor and I enjoyed every bite. The veggie cheeseburger, a black bean one was delish - I would however say order more vegetarian pasta over this one. We ordered a banana spilt sundae which they brought out with a candle. And that decadent bowl of dessert absolutely divine. I believe they make their own ice cream. I am not sure though. Service was good, some good recommendations were made. I just wish they had a little more fanfare for someone celebrating their birthday. But it's not a deal breaker that they don't. Oh yes, they did offer a doughnut for the birthday girl (the candle was suppose to come in that but we changed it to being set on the banana spilt instead. Definitely a good place for a celebration! My daughter is just 7 and her bougie self approved!"
"Does this place even need another 5 star review? The flavors are unreal. They're doing something different and it's insanely delicious. The lines are warranted. Pro tip, order online and grab it from the pickup window so you don't have to go inside and wait. It's a little pricey--spent just under $30 on two pastries and a hash brown but it was so, so good. Great treat for every now and then.Jammy egg croissant will change your life!"
"Amazing breakfast, call ahead and they will have your order ready, nice and hot, this place doesn't forget a single thing, even with big orders. I've been here twice already and it just continues to get better and better with each visit, I absolutely love the corn beef hash it's a must have anytime I go, the cheesy Grits are something special as well, very nice laid back feel here. Just love it."
