This Yelp Elite was sure to add the business and check in. For dinner my significant other and I chose to dine at Le Fantome and why not enjoy Happy Hour at Casper's. Bartender was super friendly and the margaritas were amazing! Although the food venues change, Casper's is long standing! Ambiance is typical bar/food hall scene and definitely worth a visit!"

"We have been waiting for this place to open since we saw it being worked on. Finally made it out on a Friday in the early evening with the wife and kids. The space is great - you can tell it was put together with love. It was full enough that the host brought us upstairs, which was empty when we got there at 5:30 but full when we left. They have a great beer list (Veil!), and the appetizers we had (chicken wings and the h-u-g-e pretzel) were top notch. The stuff we had for dinner (burger, chicken sandwich, chimichangas, flank steak) was a couple notches below the apps. Almost enough to call this a happy hour place only, but we will probably try dinner again sometime because everything else brought smiles."

My friends and I had just finished going to the Coffee Festival around the corner and were hopped up on caffeine and needed food! I ordered the pork soup dumplings and pork fried dumplings. While I know the soup dumplings would take a bit longer, even the guy working there apologized twice for how long it was taking. My friends had already gotten their food and were outside, halfway done with their meals before I ever came out. He said he'd throw in some freebies for the long wait, but that didn't happen. And despite the long wait, I really hoped it would have been worth it. Unfortunately, they were just ok, and somehow, after all that time, not even fully cooked. They were still quite doughy. So, sadly, I think I'll try somewhere else for my next meal at Union Market."

"This is definitely one of the cooler drinking spots in NOVA where you forget that you're surrounded by office buildings. My review is only for the beer since I haven't partaken in the food. There's a wide selection of German beers on tap and they're all the same price ($8).The payment system with chips is interesting, but apparently it's similar to what you do in Germany. You purchase your chips at the entrance (and have the option of adding tip if paying with credit card) and each color is for a different item and all cost $8. They also never expire so you can always come back with them! There's also mugs throughout the bar for cash tips as well. In addition to several tables with picnic style seating, there's also a few games such as Connect 4, cornhole, beer pong and big Jenga that you can play with your group.The parking situation isn't ideal since there's a shared lot with 20 or so spaces but there's also a garage about a 5 minute walk away with plentiful parking. Bring your ticket with you so it can be validated."

"I've been coming here since they first opened, and somehow forgot to ever write a review. It's always been a great neighborhood place and has only gotten better over the years. They're known for their awesome craft beer selection, but have good cocktails and wine (and non-alcoholic drinks too). Their food menu is very good, includes some vegetarian and gluten free options, however they still let you bring in any outside food you want. It's a place that you can visit with a big group, or alone and grab a seat at the bar, people bring babies, kids, dogs, etc., and it's just a nice casual atmosphere. It's also great for watching sports, and I've been here to watch World Cup soccer over the years, DC sports (was an awesome place to be when the Nats were in the 2019 World Series), and regular college football Saturdays. Since they added covers over much of the patio area, it's also a great place to visit in any weather."

This has always been the case on our several visits here.On our last visit, I ordered the Chopped Salad and JP got the Smoked Wings (1/2 Old Bay and 1/2 Thai Chili).The Chopped Salad is served as a good, not overwhelming, portion. I liked its white balsamic vinegar dressing. The fried chicken in the salad was good, but I was not totally in love with its seasonings.The Smoked Wings are decent and so is the calamari appetizer.The only menu item I cannot recommend whole-heartedly is the Steak & Cheese sandwich. The cheese on it is a liquid variety that is very salty.Prices are reasonable."

I tend to be able to handle spicy food, but I always am concerned when trying a new place, so I asked to drop the spicy down a notch on my green Thai curry, which is my baseline dish for trying all Thai places. It was flavorful and rich, but next time I'm going all in on the spicy. My friend had the drunken noodles and said it may be the best they ever had. "When you arrive at the location, go down the stairs to get to the bar. They have trivia every Sunday at 7pm which we thought would be fun to participate in even though we're both bad at it. If you're either first or second place you get a discount on your bar tab, but it seemed like there were a lot of regulars in large teams so you'll have to bring your A game to beat them. If you don't want to play trivia, there are some bar seats and TVs for entertainment.My first drink was the home stretch ($14) which was a spirit forward drink that was slightly dry from the dry vermouth. My second drink was the all you need is love ($10) which was floral from the butterfly pea and fizzy from the club soda. My third drink was the good doc ($10) which was a refreshing drink, basically a whiskey sour plus ginger beer. The drinks were pretty good and the prices were well-priced too ranging from mostly $10-12.Even during trivia the bar was not super loud, probably because it was a Sunday. The tables were also pretty well spread out so there was enough space to get around."

We got here before HH was over (food and drink specials), it was stamped (given a stamp of approval) by the girls (we all woke up late the next morning). My son stamped it as official. The names of the burgers pull at my local heartstrings.The location is very small, the staff are friendly and don't think you're going to watch your waist here. Now, this my lil spot. I'd like to keep it that way, but they deserve their props."

I love the ambiance of this place because it's peaceful and unhurried. The restaurant has a casual vibe as well. This location houses two businesses, The Rub Chicken & Beer and Hen Quarter. The Rub is on the lower level and Hen Quarter is on the upper level. Now let me delve into the food review. I ordered The Fricken chicken sandwich, fries, and a lemonade. I also added bacon and avocado to my sandwich as suggested by my server. It truly was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed eating my sandwich very much. The fries were amazing which were sprinkled with a little paprika, yummy goodness! Overall, I'm pleased that I made the decision to dine at the Rub. Next time, I'm in the area or passing through Virginia, I will stop by and grab some food."

This location takes over the old TapEx/Heo Tea spot in the Centreville Square II shopping plaza. The fried chicken is SO crunchy and flavorful! It came out piping hot and fresh. I got the medium order of drums and wings with half soy, half spicy. Spicy was my favorite. It was more than enough for two people. I also ordered the mandu which was crispy (pan fried) and served with a delicious sauce. The ambiance of this place is nice -- not too loud, and with a lot of tables. Service was great. I can't really say anything more than, it's great there is another tasty KFC joint in Centreville!"

We started with some wontons, dumplings, and chicken wings. Wings and dumplings were really good!! I loved the dumplings the most. I ordered the chicken pad Thai...and I know y'all can tell it was perfect just by looking at the picture! I had PLENTY to take home for lunch the next day and it was still so good! That's key for me. The order came with a side of fries. To be honest, it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. They cooked the burger perfectly (medium-rare). The burger was really juicy and the patty was seasoned well. The fries tasted great too! They were perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. I wasn't able to finish my burger and fries because of the serving size.I can't comment on any of the other foods served here, but I actually enjoyed the burger I had."

We sat at the bar and both bartenders were very attentive and kind. We asked for a happy hour menu, and two different waitress/bartenders were very accommodating while looking for the menu, and what we learned was that the pizza was served NY pizza style with any toppings, nachos were a big portion and the burger slider was more of a regular burger size! I went ahead and ordered the "slider" and the 1/2 nachos.. I would've been fine with just one of those happy hour appetizers bc the portions were much larger than expected, and only for $7.85 ish. The burger was delicious and the nachos were SPICY! I liked it, but wished there was more cheese on it! Beer: I didn't like the cider: it was too sweet but so are all bold rocks. They have local beers- I liked the cream one, it had a good beginning and after taste.!! The Mac beer was good too! A bit choppy! Trivia begins at 7 pm, and they give you a paper for your answers! The trivia included history, science, and other categories (see pictures). Overall: vibes were AMAZING, and food was impressive despite their known name as a sports bar.I would most definitely come again!!"

"This is my FAVORITE Korean BBQ spot in the DMV. This review is long overdue, but I can also give a more objective review since I've been here several times over the years since its opening. The best thing about Meokja Meokja is that the quality of the food and service has not declined at all since it first opened. Service is always spectacular and the quality of the meats remain consistently fresh. Prices for the different cuts of meat in my opinion have also remained extremely fair. The banchan are also plentiful and yummy. They also finally allow reservations as well (make reservations online)! I highly recommend the brisket, spicy pork belly, galbi, and thick unmarinated pork belly! Don't forget to also order the corn cheese and egg :) Don't forget to tip the servers! They work so hard and always grill the meats to perfection!"
