"Recently came here for brunch, it was absolutely divine, the highlight for me were the escargot, they had a zesty and garlic taste to them, I love me some smoked salmon so the entree was great!! Service was very amazing, our host Maria took really great care of us!! Would have loved to try their pastry basket but it took so long and came after we had already ate, other than that it was a really great experience for me."
"Cute little coffee shop with plenty of seating and very friendly staff! Never got to try the food but the coffee was a little too sweet and milky, in my opinion.Other than that, it was a lovely little hole in the wall!"
Red sauce, bacon, crispy shallots, blue cheese, mozz and the obvious.

"Located in Le Fantome Food Hall in Riverdale Park is Casper's. All these years I've seen the bar and for the first time realized it has its own name. This Yelp Elite was sure to add the business and check in. For dinner my significant other and I chose to dine at Le Fantome and why not enjoy Happy Hour at Casper's. Bartender was super friendly and the margaritas were amazing! Although the food venues change, Casper's is long standing! Ambiance is typical bar/food hall scene and definitely worth a visit!"
"We have been waiting for this place to open since we saw it being worked on. Finally made it out on a Friday in the early evening with the wife and kids. The space is great - you can tell it was put together with love. It was full enough that the host brought us upstairs, which was empty when we got there at 5:30 but full when we left. They have a great beer list (Veil!), and the appetizers we had (chicken wings and the h-u-g-e pretzel) were top notch. The stuff we had for dinner (burger, chicken sandwich, chimichangas, flank steak) was a couple notches below the apps. Almost enough to call this a happy hour place only, but we will probably try dinner again sometime because everything else brought smiles."
"Ordered supreme pizza (L) with garlic knots (6) for two people! The food was prepared quickly and the staff was friendly. I asked for some extra garlic sauce for my garlic knots (yes, I am THAT kind of person! :D ), they gave me without any complaints. Seating are very limited, which is understandable since most of their customers would order for either pick-up or delivery. Street parkings are available.A week later, we ordered another supreme pizza (Medium this time) with of course garlic knots! They are just so doughy and good!"
"Amongst the most famous of all Indian dishes, brimming with flavor, scintillating spice, a dynamic texture - BIRYANI!I have sampled various biryanis for my review, and this establishment is fantastic. Salt of the earth mixes with the fire of peppers in a beautiful medley of flavors in each bite. The rice is majestic as a Hyderabadi Nawab and topped with a cooling raita and savory salan. Unique ingredients from the jungles of Andhra & Telangana are used which you will never find in more ordinary and unimpressive institutions.5/5 STARS - BIRYANI JOINT IS ON POINT!"
"We hosted our CADRE Holiday Party at Astro this year and it was a HUGE hit! The private area was lovely and filled with lots of fun games and festive decorations. The phone booth was a delightful photo opportunity! The service was spectacular from booking to payment. And the food was DELISH! They had a variety of options to satisfy all food allergies and preferences and even gave to-go boxes for our guests to take home the leftovers. We will book again here!"
"I was so excited to try this place out. I was craving some dumplings bad! My friends and I had just finished going to the Coffee Festival around the corner and were hopped up on caffeine and needed food! I ordered the pork soup dumplings and pork fried dumplings. While I know the soup dumplings would take a bit longer, even the guy working there apologized twice for how long it was taking. My friends had already gotten their food and were outside, halfway done with their meals before I ever came out. He said he'd throw in some freebies for the long wait, but that didn't happen. And despite the long wait, I really hoped it would have been worth it. Unfortunately, they were just ok, and somehow, after all that time, not even fully cooked. They were still quite doughy. So, sadly, I think I'll try somewhere else for my next meal at Union Market."
"This is definitely one of the cooler drinking spots in NOVA where you forget that you're surrounded by office buildings. My review is only for the beer since I haven't partaken in the food. There's a wide selection of German beers on tap and they're all the same price ($8).The payment system with chips is interesting, but apparently it's similar to what you do in Germany. You purchase your chips at the entrance (and have the option of adding tip if paying with credit card) and each color is for a different item and all cost $8. They also never expire so you can always come back with them! There's also mugs throughout the bar for cash tips as well. In addition to several tables with picnic style seating, there's also a few games such as Connect 4, cornhole, beer pong and big Jenga that you can play with your group. The parking situation isn't ideal since there's a shared lot with 20 or so spaces but there's also a garage about a 5 minute walk away with plentiful parking. Bring your ticket with you so it can be validated."
"I've been coming here since they first opened, and somehow forgot to ever write a review. It's always been a great neighborhood place and has only gotten better over the years. They're known for their awesome craft beer selection, but have good cocktails and wine (and non-alcoholic drinks too). Their food menu is very good, includes some vegetarian and gluten free options, however they still let you bring in any outside food you want. It's a place that you can visit with a big group, or alone and grab a seat at the bar, people bring babies, kids, dogs, etc., and it's just a nice casual atmosphere. It's also great for watching sports, and I've been here to watch World Cup soccer over the years, DC sports (was an awesome place to be when the Nats were in the 2019 World Series), and regular college football Saturdays. Since they added covers over much of the patio area, it's also a great place to visit in any weather."
"We frequently come here after brunch! The drinks are good, and the bartenders are really friendly. And they even have espresso martinis on tap. Can't wait to try the spot for brunch!"
"Belle Haven Pizzeria "The Haven" has some very good pizza, but Belle Haven is also a good neighborhood sit-down restaurant, with a bit of a bar & grill feel.Aside from the great pizzas, what stands out in my mind about The Haven is how friendly, helpful and accommodating the staff is. This has always been the case on our several visits here.On our last visit, I ordered the Chopped Salad and JP got the Smoked Wings (1/2 Old Bay and 1/2 Thai Chili). The Chopped Salad is served as a good, not overwhelming, portion. I liked its white balsamic vinegar dressing. The fried chicken in the salad was good, but I was not totally in love with its seasonings. The Smoked Wings are decent and so is the calamari appetizer. The only menu item I cannot recommend whole-heartedly is the Steak & Cheese sandwich. The cheese on it is a liquid variety that is very salty.Prices are reasonable."

Such a cute and aesthetic place!!! Tons of seating, in a lovely area of DC, with street parking available. They have outdoor and upstairs seating. The service was great! They have a good brunch deal which is $35 for an appetizer, entree, and desert. They also have a la carte options or you can do bottomless drinks. We ordered Appetizers - escargot which was a 10/10 sooooo goooood! It was my first time having it and really enjoyed. The flavors were bursting, it wasn't slimy like I thought it would be, and honestly had the texture of grilled oysters. We also had the French Onion Soup - 10/10 best one I've ever had! Flavor was sooooooo gooooood!!!Entrees:The smoked salmon Benedict was alright according to my friend. I'm not a fan of Benedict's so I didn't try it out. I got the Steak and Frites I enjoyed my meal! It wasn't the best steak and frites, but it was solid. They have my favorite frenchy fries the shoe string fries. I'd say if they want to level up the steak rather than mustard they should provide something more savory to go with Desserts were meh we got the crepe and French toast. I'd go with the French toast over the crepe. The crepe was dry as hell Overall I'd come back and try dinner. I feel like this would be a sexy date night spot!

I've been attending Emissary x Pergamino (on 20th St) for nearly 6 years, including moves in and out of state. Across that time, and a range of baristas, the espresso, food, and atmosphere have remained excellent. It is a cozy space to work or meet, and the workers are always friendly. It's a great feature of the neighborhood.

Here are the good points- the Rice Bowl was amazing! Fresh rice, orange chicken, broccoli, sesame seeds and just the right amount of spice. Me and my fiance were able to play Guess Who while we waited for our food. They have other games too to play: Uno, Battleship, CAH, etc. The ambiance was empty. It was Saturday night and I thought there would be more than 6 guests in the bar. I feel like we had 2 servers: one took our order and one brought out food. They never offered a refill and I had to flag them down for some extra sauce. For it to be so slow the servers should have been a bit more attentive. Won't be here again.

Pizza was very good and fresh! I ordered online and had it delivered. I also ordered an Italian sandwich. I'm not too crazy about the Italian sandwich but I would go back for the pizza.

We came on a busy night. When you enter, there's a sign that says seat yourself. It took us a minute to find a table, and once we did, we realized there was only one waitress working our area. After 9pm, there is the happy hour for $5 smash burgers or chicken sandwich and it comes with fries or tots. When the waitress came, she told us they were pretty much out of everything. We wanted the smash burgers, but told it was out. It's a bit strange that after 5 mins of doing the happy hour burger that they ran out. Anyways we tried the chicken burgers instead. My reason for 3 stars is because our orders were made incorrectly. We had a party of 5, and we made modifications to the chicken sandwiches, like no sauce or no pickles or no coleslaw. She also asked us if we wanted mild, medium, or hot. I felt like all the chicken sandwiches were made incorrectly because most were spicy. With the sandwiches, we should have had 3 that came with fries and 3 with tots. What we received was 2 tots and 4 fries. I understand that it's a busy night because of the football game, but she didn't come back to refill our drinks. Most likely we will return, because the $5 deal is pretty good. We just won't come when there's a game going on.

As I mentioned not too long ago, I haven't been in Union Market in years... and even so, there was never a time when I was really exploring freely since I've always had a mission. I stumbled upon this place, and I wanted a light snack. And the dumpling prices were really... affordable for the market (and DC in general) so I was intrigued! I got the ginger chicken dumplings and really enjoyed them! I was surprised that they didn't give any chopsticks with my order -- I had to come back in and grab some from the table a bunch of folks were sitting at. I'd be down to return and explore their other dumplings. Looks like their products can be purchased frozen and in stores. I've never seen them before, but this is all good to know!

"Yall I'm not gonna say too much yall but if you tryna get lit, play some games, have a good time in a cute space!! I don't wanna say too much bc I love this place and don't want yall to go and compete with me! But yall. Drink here."
"Small but adorable space with amazing decor, incredible food, and wonderful service. I had my first-ever larb (appetizer) and it was wonderful. My friend said they had larb in the past but it was not nearly as delicious as what we were served. I tend to be able to handle spicy food, but I always am concerned when trying a new place, so I asked to drop the spicy down a notch on my green Thai curry, which is my baseline dish for trying all Thai places. It was flavorful and rich, but next time I'm going all in on the spicy. My friend had the drunken noodles and said it may be the best they ever had. I highly recommend this as a lunch or dinner option for a friendly or romantic spot."
"I think I found my favorite Chi Mc location! We came here for an early dinner, and we ordered:+Tteokbokki - while the dduks were soft and chewy and the sauce was creamy, this was just way too spicy for me!+Japchae - super oily and greasy, this was just okay in flavors; the hubs enjoyed this, but we wouldn't order this again+a medium order of wings - we opted for the soy garlic flavor, requesting extra sauce; the batter/coating was so much better, and the soy garlic flavor was on point - the wings were prepared perfectly, it was crispy, and the sizes of the wings were great!Service was friendly and pretty efficient, considering that there were many call-aheads and to-go orders.Note that the wings are made-to-order, and ours took about 35 minutes, as quoted.Plenty of seating inside, and the place is clean and well-kept.Located in the plaza off of Beulah, next to Matsui, there's parking available; it can get filled up quickly, though!+soy garlic wings+friendly service+parking available"
"Great place. Chicken to de for. Happy Hour. Has a mini bar. Pretty trendy. Follow IG @grc_personal_trainer for more."
"Cute lil spot. Got a half and half pizza ( Bosco and Sisicliana). Beautiful pizza but BLAND - there was hardly ANY sauce on it! Very disappointed. Dry cider - tastyDisappointed by the lack of flavor or the pies. Perhaps we'll return in the future and ask for extra sauce."
"When you arrive at the location, go down the stairs to get to the bar. They have trivia every Sunday at 7pm which we thought would be fun to participate in even though we're both bad at it. If you're either first or second place you get a discount on your bar tab, but it seemed like there were a lot of regulars in large teams so you'll have to bring your A game to beat them. If you don't want to play trivia, there are some bar seats and TVs for entertainment. My first drink was the home stretch ($14) which was a spirit forward drink that was slightly dry from the dry vermouth. My second drink was the all you need is love ($10) which was floral from the butterfly pea and fizzy from the club soda. My third drink was the good doc ($10) which was a refreshing drink, basically a whiskey sour plus ginger beer. The drinks were pretty good and the prices were well-priced too ranging from mostly $10-12.Even during trivia the bar was not super loud, probably because it was a Sunday. The tables were also pretty well spread out so there was enough space to get around."
"I ordinarily get the Rockland's burger. The quality of its signature dish is still high. However, this time when I paid for the meal with a credit card then paid tip with cash--I noticed my burger arrived last. I think the service could be more expeditious or handled in order."
"Love they they are back in Bethesda! We enjoyed the White Wine & Mediterranean Mussels with an order of the yummy truffle fries."
"So authentic. True Jamaican taste. Great service and pleasant atmosphere. Love going back again and again"
"I'm not a huge red meat eater, so I've never just gone into this burger joint, despite visiting the shopping center quite frequently. When it was recommended on a Friday I wasnt eager to go, but if you don't have a real plan during happy hour and don't set up before the rush, you miss out. We got here before HH was over (food and drink specials), it was stamped (given a stamp of approval) by the girls (we all woke up late the next morning). My son stamped it as official. The names of the burgers pull at my local heartstrings. The location is very small, the staff are friendly and don't think you're going to watch your waist here. Now, this my lil spot. I'd like to keep it that way, but they deserve their props."
"After walking in the neighborhood, I decided to drop in to The Rub for a bite to eat before heading back to NY. I had the entire place to myself, that's never happened before but I truly enjoyed it. The gentleman that took my order was very nice and friendly. He hails from Long Island and we both gave each other a high five after he mentioned that. I love the ambiance of this place because it's peaceful and unhurried. The restaurant has a casual vibe as well. This location houses two businesses, The Rub Chicken & Beer and Hen Quarter. The Rub is on the lower level and Hen Quarter is on the upper level. Now let me delve into the food review. I ordered The Fricken chicken sandwich, fries, and a lemonade. I also added bacon and avocado to my sandwich as suggested by my server. It truly was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed eating my sandwich very much. The fries were amazing which were sprinkled with a little paprika, yummy goodness! Overall, I'm pleased that I made the decision to dine at the Rub. Next time, I'm in the area or passing through Virginia, I will stop by and grab some food."
"Chi Mc has finally arrived in Centreville! I didn't have the opportunity to try out their Chantilly location, sadly, so i'm glad that they found a new spot. This location takes over the old TapEx/Heo Tea spot in the Centreville Square II shopping plaza. The fried chicken is SO crunchy and flavorful! It came out piping hot and fresh. I got the medium order of drums and wings with half soy, half spicy. Spicy was my favorite. It was more than enough for two people. I also ordered the mandu which was crispy (pan fried) and served with a delicious sauce. The ambiance of this place is nice -- not too loud, and with a lot of tables. Service was great. I can't really say anything more than, it's great there is another tasty KFC joint in Centreville!"
"Cool place with outdoor seating and LIVE music. I've been here three times and really liked the place. The craft beers are always changing so I ask for recommendations based on my preferences. The beer is COLD and spot on what I like to drink. You can sit inside at a table or the bar Or weather permitting outside under an umbrella. Always a place to sit. Food is also good. I've had the GIANT pretzel, the burger, and the German brat. The clientele are onesies, couples or families (kids like the food). As the name implies it's casual and you can sip a pint or two. Bartenders have personality YEAH! Meet here to build community while enjoying happy hour ($1 off). How could I forget to mention they have craft beer to purchase to take home! Cheers!"
"Ordered to go and the order was well packed and still warm when we picked up! We ordered the cheese chicken which was very cheesy I must warn. Not a light dusting but coated in cheese powder. The half and half is definitely the way to go. Wish they had a plain fried option more apparent too."
"Great bar close to the White House. The food was great and the staff was excellent. Good place to catch a game and not too noisy. Ordered the fish and chips. Large thin pieces of fish that were fried and seasoned perfectly. The tartar sauce was creamy and the fries perfect."
"Andy's Pizza is hands-down one of the best pizza spots in Tysons Corner. The crust is perfectly crisp, the sauce is flavorful, and the toppings taste fresh and high-quality. You can tell they put effort into making a great product. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, which makes it a great spot for a casual hangout in the mall. The service is quick and friendly, so you're not waiting long to dig in.Whether you're grabbing a slice or going for a full pie, Andy's is a solid choice. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area."
"Went upstairs for one night in Bangkok! I LOVE this concept. It's a market to buy groceries and other goodies, but also a full blown restaurant. I love the neon lights! Really makes you feel like you're in Bangkok. We ordered and I checked out the market while we waited for our food. Our server was really great, told us all the favorites and recommended some stuff. We started with some wontons, dumplings, and chicken wings. Wings and dumplings were really good!! I loved the dumplings the most. I ordered the chicken pad Thai...and I know y'all can tell it was perfect just by looking at the picture! I had PLENTY to take home for lunch the next day and it was still so good! That's key for me. Sometimes it's dried out, nope not here; perfect!!! They have such a large menu, I need to come back and try more things! Check them out if you're in the area!"
"I was in Alexandria recently for a conference. When my dinner plans got ruined by a torrential downpour (as it was taking more than 1 hour everywhere to have food delivered), I decided to order from King Street Tavern.I ordered the Tavern Cheeseburger (served on a brioche bun, with sharp cheddar, bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, & Onion, with homemade ketchup). The order came with a side of fries. To be honest, it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. They cooked the burger perfectly (medium-rare). The burger was really juicy and the patty was seasoned well. The fries tasted great too! They were perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. I wasn't able to finish my burger and fries because of the serving size.I can't comment on any of the other foods served here, but I actually enjoyed the burger I had."
"Came here on Christmas Eve and got the lunch special, the chicken sandwich. The sandwich was enormous and super crispy, definitely an amazing sandwich. The spicy sauce is a little sweet but has a kick at the end, I enjoyed the taste.Staff are very friendly and service was great. Loved the ambiance in the restaurant, lots of what looks to be hand drawn chalk pictures. I'll be back for sure!"
"We love this restaurant! The ambiance is great with low lighting and great TV setup!!The food is absolutely delicious and homemade tortillas!! Our favorite bartender is Katherine. She is very attentive, kind, and professional! Highly recommended!!"
"Hands-down, the best bar in Arlington. The food is amazing, the bartenders are so fun, and the space is great. Want to emphasize how good the food is -- they also have great Latin and country dance nights with live music."
"I came here tonight for their Trivia and it was SO much fun!! We came a bit early but it's a much nicer sports bar than I expected! It is clean and has good vibes. We sat at the bar and both bartenders were very attentive and kind. We asked for a happy hour menu, and two different waitress/bartenders were very accommodating while looking for the menu, and what we learned was that the pizza was served NY pizza style with any toppings, nachos were a big portion and the burger slider was more of a regular burger size! I went ahead and ordered the "slider" and the 1/2 nachos.. I would've been fine with just one of those happy hour appetizers bc the portions were much larger than expected, and only for $7.85 ish. The burger was delicious and the nachos were SPICY! I liked it, but wished there was more cheese on it! Beer: I didn't like the cider: it was too sweet but so are all bold rocks. They have local beers- I liked the cream one, it had a good beginning and after taste.!! The Mac beer was good too! A bit choppy! Trivia begins at 7 pm, and they give you a paper for your answers! The trivia included history, science, and other categories (see pictures). Overall: vibes were AMAZING, and food was impressive despite their known name as a sports bar.I would most definitely come again!!"
"This is my FAVORITE Korean BBQ spot in the DMV. This review is long overdue, but I can also give a more objective review since I've been here several times over the years since its opening. The best thing about Meokja Meokja is that the quality of the food and service has not declined at all since it first opened. Service is always spectacular and the quality of the meats remain consistently fresh. Prices for the different cuts of meat in my opinion have also remained extremely fair. The banchan are also plentiful and yummy. They also finally allow reservations as well (make reservations online)! I highly recommend the brisket, spicy pork belly, galbi, and thick unmarinated pork belly! Don't forget to also order the corn cheese and egg :) Don't forget to tip the servers! They work so hard and always grill the meats to perfection!"
