Bullfrog Bagel - Atlas

Bullfrog Bagel is a good bagel experience in the H Street Corridor of NE DC. Their service is always fast and most notably on weekends when they experience a larger rush of customer traffic from walk-ins and third-party delivery services. There are a few seats and tables inside the restaurant for dine-in. The inside has a very rustic decor.When I visit Bullfrog Bagel, I normally purchase breakfast bagel sandwiches. You can't go wrong with a simple and traditional egg, cheese, and protein bagel sandwich. For the everyday on-the-go breakfast bagel sandwich, the price is slightly cheaper than the going rate for similar quality bagel sandwiches in the area. I wouldn't necessarily say these bagels are the best I've had in DC, however, their consistency and quality is certainly worth a 4*. Give them a try.

Had another great bagel sandwich take out. The sausage, egg and cheese sandwich is devine and delicious and the portuguese type sausage they use made the sandwich the best. I also grabbed a plain bagel with roasted jalapeno spread for later. Service is friendly and good, prices decent, menu selection great and food delicious. I did notice if you want your bagel sliced you have to tell them upfront.

We went on a great day for almost no wait. I had a salmon blt on pumpernickel. It was really good. I do wish they would toast the bread a little more but still a great sandwich.

Came here on vacation and our Airbnb host recommended this place!! It was delicious. I ordered the #2 (bacon, egg and cheese) on salt. Sadly, they were out of salt bagels already (it was 8:45 am). I was super disappointed, since it was a weekday. I got it on a sesame bagel instead. The service was so fast. There's no seating inside, keep that in mind. The business next door has outdoor seating that you can use, since it's a sister shop.

Consistent and tasty spot! There's always a line, but you can order ahead and you can dine in as well. Not fancy, and kinda old school diner vibe for dining in!

Bullfrog is one of the first bagel shops to pop up on the scene, surviving the pandemic and still remain h solid. I have no complaints about anything I ever ordered. As a native New Yorker I know quality bagels and Bullfrog upholds my standard. My sesame bagel with salmon cream cheese hit the spot! It wasn't very busy so I was served rather quickly! Parking can be a nightmare at times but i scored a close parking spot and was in and out like a light. I recommend Bullfrog!

Bagels are tasty but service is crappy. Staff give off vibes like you're inconveniencing them or interrupting their conversations by ordering and then mess up orders.

I was in this area early and needed some breakfast. I initially walked by and it smelled tremendous, but I was on my way to another establishment for breakfast, when they didn't have what I wanted I came back here.I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. It was delicious and filling. The only negative is they don't sell any breakfast drinks (hot chocolate, the coffee wasn't made, or orange juice). They do sell tea bags. All in all, I would come back when I'm near this area again.
