Bugsy's Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar

My wife and I came here after hanging out in the park & had a great time! This place was recommended to us by our friends & didn't disappoint. The deep dish pizza was great! She ordered the small meat lovers and I got half buffalo chicken ranch, half meatball parmigiana. Personally, I like the buffalo chicken better -- but either way, the pizza is good! Love the sauce to cheese ratio too . Now it is a lil small on the inside but the service was pretty good, intimate sports bar every, and the food was tasty. We will DEFINITELY be back to get more deep dish. Bonus: someone at a table near us ordered wings as we were leaving, and the wings smelled so good! Will have to order some the next time we come.

Deep dish pizza was 10/10 sooo good. Wings 8/10 they had a delicious crispness to them. Also got seafood fettuccine Alfredo 6/10. The shrimp on it was so good the Alfredo sauce was majorly lacking, I make a way better Alfredo sauce and it's so easy. Overall 8/10 the service was great and it's worth it for the pizza alone!

Cool little bar pizza spot. Good service and decent prices for tourists and semi locals.

Bartender was so rude (because we were visitors?) No vodka in our drinks, at $11 a pop, & when we questioned it she became so belligerent. Paid our bill & left. We don't mind paying a premium price but would like to get a decent drink.

Perfect southern charm and everything was good here. The pizza was perfect and the hot wings looked like full sized wings. The server even gave us a little history on the building!

Went to Alexandria found this place for a tasty pizza. The ambience outside was just amazing because of the weather and the crowd. Ordered Deep Dish with loaded veggies and it well cooked. We were all vegetarian and tried veggie dishes and the food was really great. Even the waiter was very good and guided us well as to what to try. Will definitely recommend this.

Look let's be honest. It's a bar that serves pizza and beer in a colonial house on a very expensive piece of landmark property in Old Town Alexandria"It's not going to blow your mind" it's gonna serve as a place to drink beer. Eat mediocre pizza at best and let you escape the muggy heat on a summer afternoon. Best I can say is. EGH. Good enough. I CAN NOT give this place above a 6. They serve a purpose and they do it in a friendly manner. If you're looking to get blown away by a dining experience go somewhere else. Trust me. They dont care. Their demographic are tourist looking for a beer buzz with a pizza budget. The ambiance is nice. They have a working AC and perhaps that's what matters.

I have been coming here with my family since 2016 and I absolutely love it. I have not come here in a while but I recently stopped by and got myself a Margherita pizza with 8 slices. The serving size was absolutely phenomenal and the pizza is the best pizza I have ever tasted and I am not making that up. The service was pretty good! They made sure to ask us if we needed anything, gave us extra time to figure out what it was that we wanted from the menu, and even let us choose our seats! Our waiter conversed with us a few seconds and made us feel welcomed. I love the setting and the aesthetic of the restaurant. Virginia is well known for their lush life and humidity, so the outside seating was such a vibe. Inside they have really great air conditioning. This place fits the Old Town atmosphere pretty well. Again with the food, it was absolutely delicious. I am being truthful when I say I have never tasted pizza that great in my life. I brought some leftovers home and even after I microwaved them, the flavor stayed in tact. This is totally an authentic review! I live in Stafford and we usually go up to Old Town Alexandria to sight see and walk around and eat some dinner, and we always go to Bugsy's! Currently I am lying on my bed and just thought of the pizza I had eaten on Saturday, and thought I would give a review.

As we ordered our food and received our drinks, I ordered a mule. Sitting on the lime, there was a dead roach! I didn't notice it at first until I grabbed the lime and moved it around in my drink--only to discover the roach floating in it.I immediately got the waiter's attention to address this unpleasant disaster and asked for the manager. The waiter informed me that the manager was not in the restaurant. I then requested that they call the manager or at least inform them of the situation.When I asked about their food safety protocols, to my surprise, they had none.No manager on-site, and a roach in my drink--completely unacceptable!

The pizza I had ordered tonight still had raw dough, as it was not cooked all the way through. Only one slice was ate. This is not usually the case but tonight's pizza was not good at all.
