I thought this was a cool place to stop in for lunch -- Bryant Street Market is a food hall in an historic neighborhood that is being revitalized. It's a short walk from the cinema, The Kraken, the Monet Experience, etc. There's plenty of parking, and in our visit, there were several food stalls with more to come. I saw that they host events here, so look in their website to see what's coming up. I'll stop by again when I am in DC.

Here's what's insideHot Lola's chickenTaqueria habaneroBold dumplingsSome green breakfast placeAlegria the bar which is owned by the taqueria peopleTiger bobaBlowfish pokeLast two are the ones I tried and they are reviewed separately. The most vibrant part of the whole food Hall is actually near the bar and they have lots of lounge seating and couches just. If you're looking for a little bit of atmosphere I'd recommend sitting here. The place is clean but there isn't much ambience Also beware of the parking situation. I came on a Sunday which means parking in the district is free but the market itself has a lot which is right in front of it and there are signs everywhere that say that they will tell if you don't pay which is monitored by camera. Not wanting to pay and not wanting to take a chance I parked on the street. Think that's a bit ridiculous given where the location is and that this is a shopping area. Whatever the need is for charging for parking negates the fact that people are in and out. I might come back to try out the taco placeAlso beware of the parking situation. This place is amazing! They have so many choices and it's super fun! Very casual to meet up with friends or just hang out! Pretty much all of the food hits the spot and the service is pretty good at all of the places! It has a good variety of foods, from poke, to soup dumplings, Mexican, to fried chicken so it fits everyone's taste buds! It's also pretty clean which is nice :) Just a little on the pricey side!

D.C.'s food hall boom is here! Located on the bottom floor of a new apartment building off of the Metropolitan Branch Trail is a new food hall. The space is large with plenty of seating and outlets. The first good stand to open is a poke stand and they hope to add more vendors in the coming weeks. It's an industrial space with public restrooms and proximity to parking and the metro.

It's clean and modern with high prices. I guess it will be good for the people living in the luxury buildings nearby. At least it doesn't have the awful graffiti that's all over the pedestrian bridge from the Rhode Island metro.

So excited to have another new place in the area! Bryant Street is in the perfect location -- right by the metro and near other popular spots. There is a large parking lot though the market isnt technically on that lot. The garage is much closer for those parking. While only a few stalls are currently open, it's spacious and clean. I hope they plan to add more seating both inside in out as I'm sure it will be well needed soon. There is a good amount of empty unutilized space at the moment. Come for poke, tacos, boba, cocktails, and soon to be more!

I feel so lucky to live in the apartments above this place! It's finally open and it brings so much energy to this area! It's a wide open food market type place, and there is a bar with DELICIOUS drinks. My boyfriend got the margarita and he said "this is the best thing I've ever tasted." we also got the Mexican food and I got veggie tacos, which had cheese but they were super kind and remade them when I told them I didn't know they had cheese on them!!!

I have been waiting for the new food hall, Bryant Street Market to open. Finally! It's super nice. It has a modern vibe, from the great background music to the lighting and variety in seating areas. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and had a good signal. At this time 4 vendors are open: Alegria (a bar), Taqueria Habanero (Mexican food), Blowfish Poke and Tiger Sugar (Asian drinks like bubble tea). Bold Dumplings are coming soon, as well as a couple other stands. I would love to give 5 stars but the space is still pretty unfinished in areas. For example, the forthcoming "Bevy Lounge" was roped off and some of the future stalls are pretty rough, hopefully they will complete everything soon. Also, some of the stands are still working out kinks. My food order was wrong in a couple of ways and they didn't have a system of notifying you when your food was ready. I am also curious to see if the neighborhood can sustain the Alegria bar, it's a little pricy ($14/$15 for small but delicious cocktails). Though I can see folks popping in for a drink on a date night before or after a movie or something. Can't wait to return when it's more fully developed, but they are off to a great start. The food hall is at a great location, along the Met Branch Trail, very close to the Rhode Island Ave Metro station, next to the Alamo Drafthouse and Metrobar.
