delicious uyghur food, on par with the other restaurants in the area. located in a small strip mall, there is a small parking lot. only ordered takeout so can't speak much to service other than they were friendly inside. the order was late by 20 minutes or so which was annoying, but I forgot about that once I tasted the food. The cold skin noodles are fun - great texture, light and refreshing with a vinegar based sauce (a restaurants in dc has a similar dish that I love). the eggplant salad is smoky but with good caramelization - very good. the dry fried soman and lagman were both delicious - great noodles and sauces, proteins were delicious as well. well worth a visit

Visited October 2024. Small hole-in-the-wall restaurant that has an authentic feel. Everyone working there very nice.Food is just OK. Probably 3 star but bumped up a star because of the service. The kabobs are shown with 3 pieces in the picture but they are sold individually. Would highly recommend against the naan. Very dry and plain. Noodles and dumplings OK.

My friend and I went here for lunch this week and we had the best food. first I'm gonna start off with dessert which was amazing it's the chocolate honey cake and I can't highly recommend it enough it is super delicious and incredible mouthfield. We enjoyed a noodle dish and their dumplings which were excellent and filling. The service is great and for the price it was a good value.

We were a group of 6 trying Uyghur cuisine for the first time at this restaurant. We tried a number of appetizers including dumplings and cold noodles, both of which were delicious. Then we tried 5-6 different entrees. Although all were noodle based dishes except for the lamb kebab, we loved the good and the variety of tastes. The two noodle soups were outstanding as was the spicy chicken stew entree. The lamb kebab dish was quite delicious. The place is small so not much to write about the ambience. The service was friendly and prompt. Certainly will go back.

Ordered delivery for my first ever Uyghur experience. I ordered cold skin noodles, stir fried rice noodles and naan. I started with the rice noodles because the other stuff was already cold. Delicious but boy did they have a kick to them. I tried to cool off by eating a little bread between bites but eventually had to dip into the cold skin noodles, which not only are amazing on their own, but exactly what I needed to balance the heat. The naan was just ok but it is very healthy and I think it is meant to be a palate cleanser anyway. I will have to visit the restaurant to comment on the service and the atmosphere, but I loved the food and look forward to trying more.

This place was so good I forgot to take more pictures. This is certainly one of the best restaurants I've had near DC. The dishes are all super flavorful and interesting. My favorite was the cold skin noodles and egg plant salad. The pastries and lamb skewer were interesting as well- worth trying if you've never had it before. The dry stir fry noodles were more basic and similar to lo mein you'd have at other restaurants- so I probably won't get that again but would try another noodle dish. Love this place and can't wait to come back!

Bostan Uyghur CuisineThis was my first time trying Uyghur food. To be honest, I'd never heard of the Uyghur population until my friend picked the place for dinner. Uyghurs are a Turkic ethnic group native to Xinjiang. Many have tried to escape the repression from the Chinese government.I know this is not a history lesson, but coming here made me want to learn more and I'd love to share what I learned because food is such an essential part of every group's culture. At first, I was very confused about pulling up to the address on my GPS. The restaurant is located next to the 7-Eleven convenience store. I walked in and a waitress waved us over. The shop has a handful of simple tables and chairs. A location that isn't a frills and thrills type of location, but one that has surprisingly amazing food. I would best describe the food as a mixture between middle eastern cuisine, chinese food, and indian food. There are momos, There are kababs or kebabs in other places you've ordered. Some noodle dishes that closely resemble lo mein, some stir-frys and stews. There is nan flatbread similar to naan from india. One of the most unique things was the Samsa, which can best be described as a cross of a spanakopita and an empanada.Overall, the food was great, the price was incredible, and the place was clean. The staff primarily just takes your order and brings it out, otherwise they leave you to enjoy the meal. We got confused, but you'll end up going to the counter to pay.Parking is a little tricky here. The parking lot is small and 7-eleven will tow if you park there.

Food was really good! Spice was a bit more than what I could tolerate. My favorite would definitely be the 大盘鸡 and eggplant. The noodles are so good as well and seemed to be hand pulled. Was a little bummed that the lamb over rice was sold out
