Went to Boqueria for the first time as part of a birthday party celebration. We arrived a little late and were grateful our reservation was still available. The food we ordered was delicious and amazing. The drinks were also some of the best I've had. I look forward to returning in the future.

This was a last minute decision to come here based on Yelp reviews - and I am so glad we did. After visiting the Christmas market down the street Boqueria graciously had room for my group of 6.We ordered so much and FEASTED. The Food came super fast and everything was delious, service was fast and efficient moving plates in and out. All Tapas style. Some highlights I'd absolutely get:JAMÓN IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA - To die for.PAELLA DE MARISCOSALCACHOFAS FRITASALBÓNDIGASPULPO A LA PLANCHA

We enjoyed our time at this restaurant. The service was good and the ambiance was since despite it being busy. We got the brunch feast which was $29pp: For our tapas we got the ALBÓNDIGAS (meatballs- it was a little cold when we ate it but flavors were good) and CROQUETAS (with ham). For the mains we ordered BOQUERIA B.E.C (scrambled egg sandwiches- sooooo good!! Highly recommend), HUEVOS ESTRELLADOS (fries with jamon- also good), and COCA DE SETAS (flatbread with mushrooms and caramelized onions- lacked flavor and not very appetizing). Our dessert was churros with hot chocolate (really good).

Came in for a quick bite before the Wizards game and sat at the bar. It was happy hour so I decided to grab a few items off the Happy Hour Menu. I ultimately decided on the Patatas Braves and Croquetas de Jamon. I've tried some great Cuban restaurants in DC as well as Miami and I was very underwhelmed by the food (it also wasn't hot). I may come again to try the entrees but overall not my favorite for authentic Cuban food.

This was such a great happy hour pick! We showed up on Valentine's Day at 4pm, no reservation and were told we could grab a table but they would kick us out after two hours (which I thought was more than fair!) but we opted to sit at the bar. The bartenders were really attentive and service was great! I liked the bar ambiance, it was nice but low key and I didn't feel underdressed for being in the heart of the city. We split a pitcher of red sangria and they also had white and rose which had some different liquors in them which was interesting. I thought the happy hour tapas were a great deal and a good variety! We tried both croquetas, patatas bravas, the bikini (basically a grilled cheese) and the pan con tomate. Everything was really delicious but the croquetas were the standout! The potato was so smooth and creamy they literally melted in your mouth and the quince jam served with the ham croqueta was the perfect touch of sweetness. Also they have the cutest six-shot-holding octopus and I wanted to buy him so badly! Plan to come here with at least three friends so you can order him!

I've been to another location and loved it. This time I tried the a la carte as opposed to the chefs menu. Everything was just as good as remembered! The pan con Tomate is excellent, bread is fresh and crispy. I loved the octopus and the patatas bravas are a go to. The sangrias were excellent, although the red is our favorite. The service was good, there was always someone checking in without being stressed. The best tapas chain I've found outside of Spain!

I came here on a business trip with a colleague. We ordered a ton of tapas and paella. The service was great and I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. Our least favorite was probably the shrimp and favorite was definitely the paella and meatballs!

Sat outside for people watching. Attentive service & we ordered entirely off the tapas menu. Our faves were the tuna crudo, orange boquerones & the pulpo (octopus). Tuna was fresh, boquerones flavor combo worked really well. Octopus was tender without being chewy. Unfortunately, we were in a rush so did not get a chance to try the paella.
