Boqueria Dupont

We came here for a girls night out and it did not disappoint. Apologies for the lack of pictures, the food was so good that we dug in before we could get a picture of all the different dishes we ordered. The service is great. We were checked on regularly and our waiter was attentive and made great recommendations. I had the tinto sangria and it was delicious and light. It had citrus fruity tones but it also wasn't overly sweet which I loved. We ordered a bunch of tapas to include the anchovies, pan con tomate, croquettes (different kinds), salad, olives...I'm definitely missing a few. Everything was delicious! The food came out in stages so we weren't overwhelmed to eat everything at once, which was perfect. We got to take our time and try the dishes while sipping on our cocktails and not feeling rushed. The restaurant is very clean, and has a very warm and inviting atmosphere which would be great for catching up with friends, drinks after work, or a date. I came here many years ago and had enjoyed my experience then. I'm not sure what took me so long to come back, but I'm so glad I did. Can't wait to come back again!

This restaurant was one of my staples for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. But, I had never been to the weekend brunch. I had extended family in town for the holidays, visiting from France, so my son and I decided to go here after asking the two teenage girls what they would like. Like always, it did not disappoint. The service was excellent. Our waitress was so accommodating and it's always clean and well lit. We choose some of the following dishes:Albóndigas - absolutely deliciousPimientos De PadrónBOQUERIA B.E.C* Huevos Horneados Tosta De AguacateTorrija - this was the absolute best French toast I have ever eaten.With a side of - Gambas Al Ajillo My son felt like we ordered too much food, which we did since there were five of us. We left so much food, NOT because it wasn't great but because I wanted to ensure everyone had dined sufficiently. As in the previous post, please don't judge me I'm not a wasteful person. This won't be a last brunch visit; believe me.

This is a review for takeout/Doordash.I ordered the paella on a Friday night and it definitely took a while to be ready, which is to be expected. But the flavors just didn't wow me. The seafood throughout was well cooked and I was surprised they didn't use Spanish rice. It seems like a great spot to go to so I'll give it another chance in person.

Went here for happy hour, and the food was to die for and drinks were also excellent. I ordered the mushroom croquette and the churros. I think it's great value for what you pay for during happy hour and the food is absolutely delicious. The service is also nice although the ambience is not the best in the area, it still definitely not bad either.

Came here for small bites and was not disappointed! My friend and I loved Boqueria's vibe and lively energy from each staff member.We split the Patatas Bravas and had a glass of the Naranja wine. Great, flavorful items that were decadent and filling.The ambiance is lively! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy places with loud music, mood lighting, and intimate seating.While I am a loyal fan of Barcelona Wine Bar, Boqueria was a great experience. If you are ever in Dupont, this is a great option for a special date night or happy hour with coworkers in a larger group.

I came here with my wife during restaurant week and we loved all the food and drinks we tried. A lot was amazing but what stood out the very most was the Pintxos Morunos lamb skewers. It is up there and may even exceed Jaleo. I will see when I try Jaleo again on Saturday. Our server was wonderful too and the ambiance is also amazing. Looking forward to coming back here or their Penn Quarter location.

Bouqueria is a nice spot to grab Spanish tapas. The service was good and food came out quickly. There's an outdoor patio area and the restaurant is decor is nice. There's several authentic a la carte dishes offered along with a tasting menu. Some of my favs are the gambas al ajillo, pulpo a la plancha, and patatas bravas. I love blistered shisito peppers but the ones that were served when I was there wasn't charred enough. The fideua de mar y montana was a nice dish to order instead of paella and was delicious!

A little expensive, but overall a good experience. We got the paella, patatos gratas and Brussels sprouts for two people and it was a good amount of food for a light-ish dinner. The ambiance was cute and the indoor space was much bigger than appears on the outside. Also got the cider sangria which was delicious. The food overall was good but pretty standard tapas fair. Went with a friend who was gluten free and they didn't have a lot of options that didn't have cross contamination (friend was fine with this, but warning for other folks!) Although the waiter was able to answer basic questions about dishes being gluten free he didn't really seem engaged or super helpful. For example, after we asked about a couple dishes being gluten free he didn't really suggest alternatives that were. When we did almost order a non-gluten free dish in the end, he didn't correct us until double checked again before putting in the order. Food did come out quick but I wish during this ordering stage he'd just been a little more attentive, especially because the restaurant didn't seem that busy and he had the time to spare.

Still a fan of this place. Tasty food, good service. We sat near the bar, and I think I'll request a table deeper into the restaurant, only because the bar was quite loud for our taste that night. I highly recommend the croquetas setas (mushroom croquettes), alcachofas (fried artichoke hearts), pinxtos marunos (lamb skewers), and albondigas (beef and pork meatballs). We followed it up with a bottle of their orange wine, and if you haven't tried orange wine, you should! We'll definitely be back when were in the neighborhood.

We stopped by Boqueria DuPont for an impromptu tapas Friday night! Fabulous small plates & delicioussssss sangria pitcher. GREAT vibes sitting on the outside patio in the spring!We loved the roasted eggplant spread (ESCALIVADA) so much that we ordered it twice! The mushroom croquettes were wonderful as well (COCA DE SETAS)!
