"I feel like my Korean aunties just invited me to their place and whipped up a meal for my friends and I." If this seems like your vibe, you've found the room of requirements for a delicious home cooked meal at Bon Ga!You're welcomed in by the friendliest staff ever. They are patient in allowing you to soak in the artwork, special menu items but quick to bring you utensils you may have clumsily dropped, refill your cold or hot water, and know when to bring another cold beer/soju! We were a larger party and I am embarrassed to admit it was my first time here since new ownership but so glad I got to experience the new ownership because this place HIT THE SPOT. Spicy raw crab? Seafood pancakes? Bossam? Donkatsu? Kalguksu? You're telling me I can get all the Korean classics and my favorites all in one place? The side dishes were delicious as well and we even debated on packing up some of it; I would happily pay for a portion to take home! I woke up debating on going back for lunch. I was really impressed with all the flavors being spot on and I felt like I was back in Korea enjoying a no frill gooood Korean meal. Thanks for the great meal, service, and next time, I'll have to pack the leftovers because I am seriously regretting not taking some Bon Ga goodness home for later.

Bon Ga is definitely one of my top 5 Korean restaurants! I recently visited and ordered donkatsu, stir fry squid, and sesame kal gook soo. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The donkatsu, accompanied by its nostalgic, old-school Korean sauce, brought back memories of classic flavors from back in the day. The stir-fry squid was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. As for the sesame kal gook soo, it might be a hit or miss for some due to the thicker soup, but I loved it! You can really taste the difference in the handmade, cut noodles, and the broth was rich and flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend Bon Ga for anyone looking for authentic Korean cuisine in Centreville. I'll definitely be back for more!

Bon Ga is a tiny Korean spot that looks like a small family-owned establishment. The hand-drawn pictures on their menu remind me of Japan. It's really cute except they are all labeled in Korean. You almost know what it is because of the picture but then you don't because it's not written in English. You'll still have to reference the main menu. It's going to take a few visits until you figure it all out.The place is quite small and gives you a family vibe. The staff was very helpful in picking out what to order. We went with the safest choices of Kimchi Jigae, Bibimbab, and grilled pork bellies. The taste wasn't phenomenal and it didn't need to. That was a good family meal. If you're craving Korean and in the area, I'd recommend it.

Came here for lunch and thought the food fell a bit flat. It wasn't bad, but I was expecting more. Starting with the bulgogi: this was overcooked and saltier than bulgogi I've had at other restaurants. I felt similarly about the haemul soondubu - it was a bit too salty. The kimchi jeon looked beautiful, but I personally prefer well fermented kimchi and was hoping for a tangy punch. This version felt a bit one-dimensional and lacking in flavor. I wouldn't be opposed to coming back, but there are better options in Centreville.

Our friend said this was one of her favorite restaurants so we can to try it out. This is a small mom and pop shop serving up really authentic Korean food. We got a couple of things to try and everything was so good! The Bo Ssam had a great flavor and paired well with their different kimchi. The noodles were like none I had before - an earthy spicy flavor and great chewy texture. Would love to come back a try some other dishes!Apps: Seafood and Scallion PancakeEntrees: Bo Ssam, Cheese Dduck bboki and Spicy Noodles

Korean comfort food definitely hits the spot. With recommendation, a group of friend and I dined in for a nice dinner. The restaurant has a small capacity but it was a worth to wait. The place was packed with a good amount of noise but full of flavor in their every dishes. If you'd like to experience Korean comfort food!

The food here is so good and has that homey taste (if that makes sense). Every dish that we ordered was delicious and didn't have that msg taste that I usually get from a lot of restaurants. We ordered a bunch of stuff and had some leftovers, which still tasted good the next day. This place is definitely a place that requires many many more visits in the future.

This is the best Korean restaurant in the DMV! Service is great, food is authentic, and most of the customers seem like regulars. The owner thanked our table for coming out to eat even though it's so cold outside. The soups had a wonderful, deep flavor and really hit the spot after a long day of work:)

No wait for dinner on a Saturday evening, with easy parking right outside the restaurant. We ordered a spicy pork stirfry and beef bone soup. Both were delicious and fresh. The complementary banchan was great, and we even got a second refill. Loved the purple rice. The restaurant space is on the smaller side, but there is plenty of indoor seating. A wonderful authentic spot for Korean food!
