Bon Fresco

What a great find! As I reviewed the menu I noticed that the cashier was greeting several people by name. It was such a welcoming environment and I immediately wanted to try more than I originally intended. I ended up trying the amazing london broil sandwich, delicious and chewed oatmeal raisin cookie and the tasty arnold palmer with fresh brewed hibiscus tea. I loved all of it. Pro Tip: Go and eat there. The ciabatta bread for the sandwich is warm. The sooner you eat the better.

Good food. I got the chicken sando. Crunchy bread, juicy chicken, tasty veggies. All together, it tastes like gourmet sandwich from a fancy restaurant. But I'm in shady grove. What else do you want? Sad that they don't do espresso shots any more.

Thursday 10/31/24Found out about this spot through a Reddit post and I'm glad I did. It's only open on weekdays and it's located in the center of office/busniess buildings so it kinda felt odd but it worked out in the end.I made a takeout order via toast and got the London broil $11.55 and the picante chicken $9.95. Both of the sandwiches were served on ciabatta rolls and toasted. The London broil was amazing as I thoroughly enjoyed it with every bite. The picante chicken has a slight spice flavor to it but it was just alright.Overall, that London broil sandwich was special. I would think nearly $12 for a sandwich is crazy but this one is definitely worth it.

OMG you simply must go and try the London Broil sandwich. Absolutely fantastic. Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Try it on the baguette; you'll get more meat for your . Actually all of their offerings is easy on the , with most being less than $10. It's in an awkward location, but once you tried them, you'll want to come back again and again. Just don't forget them like I did lol!Service is friendly and quick, and atmosphere chill. Come and see for yourself! Nom nom nom!

Amazing sandwich spot for lunch in rockville, never packed, always delicious.Some of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered! The london broil is absolutely a must try! Do yourself a favor and try it next time you go there!In the summer they open the large garage style doors and it is a pleasant place to enjoy your meal!There is plenty of parking every time I go there.

While I still think this place is quite noisy, I will also add that the staff is extremely friendly, the food portions are generous, and the prices are fair, and the place is clean. Technically, it is wheelchair accessible, though it is very challenging to navigate with the small space between the tables and a very heavy entry exit door. Still, welcome addition to the King Farm Neighborhood.

This is an example of why I like Yelp. I was looking for a sandwich place near my Rockville meeting site and this and one other shop a couple of miles away showed up. I'm so glad I found Bon Fresco. Got two sandwiches for take-out:Curry Chicken - delicious sandwich, with peppers, raisins and a nice curry flavor. Got the optional toasting of the ciabatta bread, tomato slices ($.20 extra) and greens. The bread was delicious and toasting enhanced it. Picante Chicken - nice sized piece of chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, grilled veggies, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, picante sauce on a warmed ciabatta. Delicious. The Staff were friendly and the food was ready for take out when they said it would be. Will be back. The atmosphere seemed fine for dine-in, but I was in a rush. The restaurant is located in an office park area and was a bit hard to find. But worth it.

My husband and I just left Bon Fresco after a late lunch and we once again agreed that it is the gold standard for soups, salads and sandwiches, and approximately 8300 times better than Panera.

The Mediterranean salad I ordered was ok. It wasn't epic, so I wouldn't order from here again:/

Unique and delicious sandwich spot! Service is always great and they are fast! The location is unusual- in a office park but it's easy to get to from 355/Shady Grove area. Great Salads and the sandwiches are fresh and the in-house baked bread they're served on make them over the top delicious. The place is always clean and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth a stop for lunch!
