The staff here is friendly, I enjoyed my service that I received. They were patient and accommodating waiting for a third guest who went to the sister restaurant on accident. The food was also really good, a lot of veggie options! I got the butter chicken and that tasted great. The tomato and spice used in the butter chicken sauce was a good balance. (Definitely wish I got it with more kick) The background music from YouTube was also great and added to the atmosphere! It was nothing too loud that you couldn't hear yourself

I've spent a good chunk of my life in both Edison, NJ and Mumbai and that gives this review a reinforced backbone.Bombay street food is the REAL DEAL. Great flavors, great prices, and not shy with the spice most south Asians are used to.It's hard to get vada pav right outside of India but this place does a terrific job recreating it (although a bit heavy on the chutneys. They make up for it with their irresistible lamb kheema pav which honestly is a superior cousin of the sloppy Joe. (Sue me!)Next, the indo-Chinese portion (a lesser known subset of Indian food) of chili chicken is absolutely perfect. They have also perfect their recipe to not be too spicy like it used to be but still bring all the flavor! Finally, the saag paneer with onion kulchas are a familiar favorite and just done right.I want nothing but good things for this place because they really spotlight the cultural significance of this food and that's rare nowadays in your common "chicken tikka masala" land.

This place on the edge of Adams Morgan makes sense as a fast food kind of place in a quick bite neighborhood. I did find it rather confusing that they had a street food menu that overlapped a lot with their appetizers. The vada pav I got could not be accused of lacking in flavor, with a spicy array of chutneys. It was rather overpackaged. My cutting chai was likewise small (the name refers to it being cut in half) but robustly flavored.I wish they were a bit better at street food takeout, though I expect their dine-in full meals are quite good from what I saw.

The food here was fantastic. Overall I prefer the vegetable dishes more than the meat but I only tried one meat dish and several meat dishes. For the bread sides, we ordered garlic naan, Alo Gobi Naan, and one other. I really liked the Alo Go I Naan. I thought this had the best and most flavor.Lamb Biryani: this was very dry. Although the rice was very well spiced I needed more sauce to compensate for the dryness.Samosa chaat: was my favorite thing. Not subtle at all, very slap you in the face flavor and I loved it. It was like soaked samosas in a yummy sweet-ish sauce and some crunch. Not dry at all.Kolhapuri Vegetable: fantastic. I felt healthy and yummy. I went during an off time but you could tell the ambiance would be great when full. And the service was also very attenti

A great spot for take out Indian in DC! Absolutely loved the crunchy samosas, the perfectly seasoned rice, and the curries as well. Will be ordering from here more often!!

The establishment ambiance is picture worthy, the food is 8/10 & service was good. Wish they would have better water plastic cups, they are pretty outdated. Although if you looking for a quick Indian spot that's great price , this is a spot to try!

A mixed bag but definitely worth the appetizers! We ordered the Palak Chat which was an unique take on chat itself - flavorful, crunchy, and colorfully green. The Samosa Chat was also pretty tasty. The Gobi Manchurian was awesome, too - spicy, juicy, and crunchy. Unfortunately, though, the main courses were not on par; the Aloo Gobi Paratha and Naan were dry and bland; the Raitha was quite plain, too, and the Paneer wasn't cooked that well, nor wasn't that hot (in temperature). All in all, this place's appetizers stood out from other Indian restaurants; they were "street" food in some ways but very well presented. I'll be happy to return just to sample their other appetizers.

We went there for dinner for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with the overall ambiance, food and the service. We enjoyed our appetizers (rabda patties, samosa and dahi-poori), entrées (spicy Lal mirch chicken, malai kofta and dal makhani) and the pista kulfi for the dessert. Owner was going around checking with guests about food. He informed us to ask the waiter next time to make food spicier (we like it hot and spicy and mentioned it to him) since the default heat and spiciness is to suit most patrons - so ask your waiter if you like the food that way. Service was prompt and courteous. Will revisit and would highly recommend.Additionally, I really appreciated a wall poster giving tribute to the late Anthony Bourdain.

I was highly disappointed in this experience. I ordered the Aloo Gobi with Basmati and Naan. The container they used for the Aloo Gobi wasn't leak proof and the oil from the meal spilled into the paper bag and leaked into my car seat . The meal was spicy but not very flavorful. Ive been eating Indian food over a decade and this Aloo Gobi was the worst I ever had . Didn't even want to finish the meal .You're better off going to Vegz up the street theirs was better. I can't speak for the other dishes maybe I'll give another shot maybe I won't
