SO SO SO SO GOOD. I usually come for the Saag Paneer and the Chicken Tikka Masala. (WARNING: It's a lot of food). I usually come in with a co-worker or with a friend to come and eat at this place. The place is good to pick-up or dine-in. I usually like to dine-in here so I usually do that. I can't speak on my experience regarding pick-up.Regarding dine-in. the service is quick. The place also has dim lighting, so it isn't too bright inside.

I recently stopped by after some shopping nearby for dinner. I initially wanted to order to go, however I was told that this location doesn't let you order their platter for 2 Bombay tali to go. Thus, I decided to dine in. Although, not the fanciest place in the world (and with this location being on the smaller side than their sister restaurant in eastern market) the food is authentic, well seasoned, and delicious.

Great food and super conveniently open late. Came here with my fam for a last minute dinner and we were seated right away. I ordered the chicken korma which is always my fave and this place did not disappoint. They gave us a complimentary veggie dish to try which was delicious. Would recommend for a quick Indian fix!

Stopped by with a coworker for lunch. The place was pretty empty when we walked in but they had a good group when we were leaving. Service was good and attentive, my water cup never got less than half full. The food was pretty good! I love the garlic nan! I got the butter chicken (delicious) and my coworker had the spicy Lal mirch which he said was really good! Great flavor, great portions and the prices were reasonable! Definitely will be back!

Amazing food and very filling! So far, I've tried the following:- Garlic naan - soft, carb-y satisfying, and flavorful- Samosa - satiating and tasty- Bombay Palak Chat and Dahi Puri appetizers - very unique to me and great novel experiences. - Lamb Rogan Josh - amazing!! I'm not an Indian food connoisseur or even a lamb fan (lamb is usually a hit-or-miss for me), but I thought that lamb dish was truly excellent. It wasn't tough or tasteless, like other lamb dishes I've had in the past- Butter chicken - amazing and delicious. It also tasted slightly sweeter than from other places (maybe a bit honey there?)- Vada pav appetizer (potato "burgers") - great and quite filling for an appetizer. Has a nice spicy kick enough to make you sweat a bit. - Kheer rice pudding dessert - delicious! The balls were very tender and satisfyingly heavy but also well-balanced with a light, sweet syrup. Usually, that rice pudding is a bit too sweet (namely, "sugary") for me, but it didn't taste like that at this restaurant. - One time, a friend and I split the "Dinner for 2" which came with LOTS of different sampler dishes. Definitely worth getting if you want to taste a lot of different things on the menu! All the dishes were great, but the meat ones were definitely the best, and the veggie dishes just kinda paled in comparison. The meat samplers (including chicken, goat, and lamb) were all so tender and perfectly cooked, and the sauces were flavorful and rich. One of the sampler dishes was the Gulab Jamun dessert (dry milk flour balls dip in cinnamon sugar syrup), which didn't really stand out to me, and it was also reallyyyy sweet.

This is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is always amazing and there are so many options to choose from on the menu. There is a great selection of items, both meat-based and vegetarian, and a variety of different Indian flatbreads to try. The portions are also well-sized. As many times as I've been here, there are still things on the menu I haven't tried yet because I keep having to re-order some of my favorite things. I really recommend the palak chat, saag paneer, bombay thali, and biryani.I also love the ambience and the service has always been great. Staff is attentive and polite and the food comes out quickly. I've literally never had a bad experience here - it's always been excellent!

Stopped by Bombay Street Food after a stay in National Harbor. Overall, the food was pretty lackluster for traditional Indian food. I ordered the Tandoori wings & garlic naan. I was told beforehand that the wings were pretty spicy, but was underwhelmed at the spice level when I received the meal. The garlic naan was okay, but I wish that it came with red or green chutney. The service was incredible, my waiter took really good care of me and the ambiance was great. However, if you are looking for flavorful Indian cuisine, I think this place is just "okay".

Phenomenal experience today at Bombay!! The chef came and made sure I was enjoying myself. The garlic naan dipped in the butter chicken was perfect for a chilly day like today. The chai is authentic and you can't find it anywhere else in DC like this. Absolutely gem and I couldn't recommend it more! Also the service didn't let me go a moment without water which I always appreciate so much!
