I recently tried the goat biryani, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, with no unpleasant smell at all. The portion was generous, packed with tender meat that was perfectly cooked. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to enjoy it again!It would be great if they opened a branch in Stamford,CT Having access to that delicious goat biryani nearby would definitely be a win for the community.

The rest of their food is good too but I am very much obsessed with their lamb vindaloo. Service is lacking and the ambiance is average. I usually order to-go

I am so excited BSF Express opened yesterday. I have been a huge fan of Bombay street food group of restaurants. Chicken 65 is one of my favorites and when I saw their post on Instagram I was super excited to try out. I am glad I did because their food is top notch as usually. Quality of service was amazing as well. I had ordered for take out and my food was ready for me to pick it up on time. Chicken 65 tastes very authentic. It's one of the most famous South Indian delicacies and I have been craving for it for a long time. I had to go to Biryani point in Maryland to have chicken 65 now I can stick to DC location.

Being a Bombay native myself, I'm picky when it comes to Indian food, but this place has some of the best and most authentic Indian food I've had in the DMV area. I've tried their Columbia Heights location before and was super excited when they announced that they were opening this new 18th street location a few blocks away from me (a dangerously close distance since I simply cannot resist their delicious food)! You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu, but be sure to specify your preferred spice levels prior to placing your order. I've ordered takeout from them several times since they've opened and love the food. The crispy palak chaat and the samosa chaat are my favorite appetizers, they are delicious and the serving sizes are generous too. For the main course, their paneer tikka masala and the vegetable biriyani are a must try (a side note: I've been requesting them to include a vegetarian biriyani on their menu for YEARS and was delighted to see it on the menu for this location, hope they can include a paneer biriyani next!). Everything is well seasoned, fresh and incredibly flavorful, and this place is my go-to Indian street food spot in DC. I haven't had a chance to enjoy the ambience and dine in yet, but hope to do so in the next few months. The staff seem helpful and courteous whenever I've picked up my order, and the decor and ambience is adorable and authentically Indian, with excellent Bollywood music playing in the background. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough, do give it a try!

Samosas were tasty but the pakoras were not The attitude was great but the guy at the counter was on phone through the entire meal

Best Indian food in DC for the price and great locations. Also massive servings which I appreciate a lot.

The paneer tikka is so good. The sauce is so creamy and rich. The aloo gobi is okay. Not enough potato. The naan is very good. Would come back. Pricing was decent.

We ordered many things like Roti, Kadai Paneer, Dal Makhni, Malai Kofta and Dahi Puri. The quantity was generous and the entrées came with rice. The taste was okay nothing exceptional. The service was quick and friendly. Overall, it is a decent stop for anyone to try!

Quick and tasty Indian food. Neighborhood treat when wanting a flavorful dinner. Can eat in or take out.
