Bold Dumpling

The soup dumplings were great and the wings were good too. Great place to pick something up quick and we love the venue!

I've eaten many beef noodle soups in my life, and this place, by far, had unfortunately the worst one I have ever received, along with being one of the more expensive ones. The beef noodle soup was very bland. I'm not just talking about being light on the salt but that the broth and noodles just had little flavor. The pieces of beef (I think scraps is a better term) were the most shocking. Never have I seen a beef noodle soup from a kitchen give such tiny bits instead of large chunks or bigger slices. It reminded of the ones in $1 beef instant noodles, except the instant ones I have tried even tasted better. Here they were chewy and tough. For $14, I definitely expected more.

Very good food, specially dumplings- filing was too good, egg rolls pretty average. Overall decent food.

I wish I read the review about the beef scraps before I ordered from this place but I needed something quick during a busy work day. I came home and bit into tough pieces of shrimp. O got a hibachi plate. They drenched everything with sauce so you really can't tell the condition of anything until you eat it. The shrimps were bad. Many of them had that spoiled smell after you leave the shrimp defrosting for a day too long in the fridge. I called them and told them they need to stop serving whatever shrimp was served to me because it's spoiled. The person on the phone offered an apology and said he would let the kitchen know but judging from the other review about the beef, I'm sure they continued serving that shrimp and who knows what else compromised meat. I'd stay away from this place if I were you.And no, they didn't even offer to make anything right. Just said thanks and hung up the phone.

Bold dumpling just recently opened up, at the cool new Bryant Street Market... food hall! I had the Ramen and I was not disappointed! I know I probably should've led with dumpling for going for the first time, but so much more to go back for. And there are so many other food options in the same space it's amazing to just get a little sample of everything. Great first experience, will go back.

It was a very cool place and all the food looked amazing until the food came out( which took forever). We ordered the Korean bbq wings, the shrimp hibachi and the spicy pork wonton. The pork wonton was not good in my opinion the filling felt separated and I didn't feel the heat. The shrimp hibachi was delicious but the springroll that was included with it was crunchy on the outside and frozen on the inside. While the Korean barbecue looked delicious it was too salty making it difficult for us to even finish the fries without drinking the entire bottle of water. Overall the meal was $42 which did not feel worth the price that we paid.

I come here any chance I get since it's right next to the Alamo drafthouse. Food is always fresh and service is always great. Recommend the combination dumplings if you're looking to try something outside of traditional soup dumplings!

Stopped by after a movie at the Alamo Draft House Cinema. Overall area is up and coming, and promising however $3.30 for a single stick of Hi-CHEW candy at Bold Dumpling is a 200% markup.

Wow!!! Highly recommend the vegetarian ramen bowl with dumplings Tasted so fresh and healthy will definitely come again
