This spot caught me off guard. It's not a new concept, & I've had this kind of Mediterranean food all my life!! This spot HIT different!! Let's GO!!.Where I am: @bitezdmv.Location Reviewed: 7258 Columbia Pike, Annandale V.A..Items Reviewed: *All Halal Proteins*STAMP!! Their Falafel Salad ($11 with falafels, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, & tahini sauce). Fresh falafel, & creamy tahini sauce!! The salad was a salad.STAMP!! Their Combo Platter ($13 with chicken, gyro/lamb meat, all the salad fixings, tahini, & rice). The chicken was red, but not spicy, the gyro meat was super tender, & blended well with the sauce!!STAMP!! Their Gyro Pita ($10 with the same fixings that were in the platter, with just lamb, & chipotle aioli). The platter, in a pita...tasty!!STAMP!! Their Chicken Burrito ($11 all the fixings in the gyro, & platter with just chicken as a protein). Again...this burrito hit!! The chicken is not spicy!!LIKE THAT Their Cookies & Cream Crepe ($12 a folded sweet pancake pastry with strawberries, bananas, Nutella, & powdered sugar). Definitely sweet, soft, warm, with the crunch of Oreo folded in the inside!!.Parking: ROUGH!!.The Inside: Quaint, & clean..Recommendations: Everything is the same thing in different forms. I like it. Am glad that halal foods are becoming more common. The beef, chicken, and lamb here are quite delicious. Staff definitely cook it properly. Very nice employees. Always have found the folks here professional. The pricing is up, but inflation is everywhere these days. Kudos to the very fresh vegetables though. These make the combos even more tasty. Serving sizes are pretty good. My recommendation is lunch time. It's popular but not too busy, so you can get a nice hot meal.

I have some mixed reviews because I didn't have the best Uber eats experience and similar to a previous reviewer, their chicken made me a bit sick. Ordering was easy and their menu is pretty straightforward but again my delivery driver didn't do the best job. He didn't actually change his arrival status and attempted to call me but I had no signal for the call to go through. Would only re-order if I was craving something sweet like a crepe.

Bitez in Annandale is a hidden gem that offers a chill dining experience. The owner is known for being friendly and approachable, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The chicken dishes, in particular, stand out for their exceptional flavor and tenderness. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or a quick bite, Bitez delivers good bang for your buck.

Overall, pretty good place. They give you alot of meat which is a plus. The reason why I am giving this three stars is because I thought it was TOO flavorful. Normally, flavor is good but I think there was a lack of balance. The marinated meat dominated the dish and I wish it was toned down a bit. I also felt like the white sauce didn't have that much flavor to it and didn't really add to the dish. Also, I ordered the fruity pebbles crepe and it was dry. It was literally just cereal in a crepe and banana. Wish it came with some sauce. Skip the fruity pebbles crepes.

The food here definitely hits the spot. One of the best kabob spots and even better, the food is reasonably priced. Feel like it normally costs an arm and a leg for kabob, but not here.Everything is so delicious here, the portions are great, especially the portion size for meat. The only thing I wish is the salads had more salad, but other than that, delicious!

I recently ordered from this restaurant via Uber Eats, opting for the BOGO combo platter which was very affordable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. As noted in other reviews, the portions of meat and rice were quite generous, accompanied by a small serving of salad.Despite being delivered, everything was still fresh, delicious, and very filling. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I would recommend it based on both value and taste.

Annandale has been surprising me every time by how many new places are opening around here. I went here on a whim after an event around 3 AM. Your options are really limited unless you want to make a trek to the nearest breakfast joint or go down the street to a open Korean restaurant but sometimes you just want to grab something quick and go. Bitez has been teasing me all over Instagram with how pleasing their rice platters and crepes are. For 12 bucks, I don't think I could really complain. You get a hefty amount of food packed, especially if you get the combo platter consisting of Chicken, Gyro Meat, Rice, Cucumbers and Salad.. you really can't go wrong. Topped with either white, red spicy or Bitez's own sauce you can pick to however you like.This place can get packed if you go here early evening, but when I was there it wasn't too bad. Not really a line at all ( yeah it's 3 AM ) and honestly even if there was a line, it would have went quick. Do I think this is better than other Halal places that serve the same rice platter? I don't think so. But if there is one advantage that this place has over the rest, it's closer to me and I'd probably gravitate going here more as a result.I don't really recommend dining in as it's small and there are not many tables to sit down at. Although there are seats outside, depending on the weather people are just going to either sit inside or take it home to go. Cheap food, great prices, friendly staff, can't recommend enough!

I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch crepe. Its okay. It's literally just cereal in a crepe. Didn't come with a drizzle of nutella or anything like they show in all their pictures and advertisements. And I wouldn't be surprised if they upcharge for the drizzle but its expected in todays economy. Service was good and fast. The crepe was fresh and hot they make it right there in front of you which is good!It was very dry because it's just cereal in a crepe. I'll still come back and order one of the other ones with like Reese's or kinder or Nutella atleast those will be like sweeter and not as dry as this.

I ordered this from Uber Eats. I thought it was OK. I didn't think it was super Duper good. The marketing on Instagram was super Duper good for it so I thought it was gonna be really good but I was a little disappointed. The Nutella and banana crêpe. I think was a little overwhelming for me because I felt like it was too much sugar in it. I'm not sure if it is because I had not eaten that rich dessert in a long time or it was just too much sugar. So it might just be me. And then for the actual chicken kebab dish. I did not think it was super good. I felt like the chicken tasted a little weird and funky to me and I ended up throwing it out because I just did not like it. I don't think I'm gonna come back here again. However, my expectations might've just been super high because of how good it looks in Instagram.
