Big Tony’s Pizza & Dive Bar

After leaving the underground of Clarendon ballroom, the bubbling mozzarella of this pizzeria called out to my soul..A friend got the BBQ pizza and I the mozzarella sticks.Each bite of the mozzarella sticks was a bite of indulgence flowing from the golden crispy exterior..battling hard to outshine the cheese. Each round, some including a nice paired cheese sauce, other a well paired marinara, the results were constantly neck and neck.After it all I left satisfied.The helpful service and lively scene were wonderful additions that help this place shine.

I can't rave about this place enough. Delicious pizza, cool people, excellent service, and retro decor. I came alone and ended up leaving with new friends and had an awesome time, the vibe is killer here. Alara was an amazing bartender, she's so cool and personable. Can't wait to go back!

I love this place! It's open late, staff is friendly, has a ton of creative pizza options, huge pizzas, outdoor seating, and you can buy slices. What's not to love?!New York style pizza with doughy crusts and they don't skimp on toppings. I loved the bacon mac n cheese, the creamy goodness was exactly what I was looking for. They also have a bar with tasty sounding cocktails but I haven't had the chance to try them yet. I will be making my way through the menu, can't wait to go back!

Oh MY! This place just opened up on the extremely busy street of Clarendon Boulevard. Let me just tell you this -- if I lived closer I very well might become a regular! Apparently it was a pizza place in its previous iteration, but this seems to be quite an upgrade. As you walk up, there is plenty of outdoor seating, and the doors are wide open, welcoming you in.The first thing I observed was the retro wall -- lots of 80s and 90s references, many which were video games. There were several high top tables, a delicious display of pizza to the left, and a bar to the right. I was the only person in there at the time, so I made myself comfortable at the bar and looked at the menu. Excellent specials, and a rather curious looking flight. Two of the items in the flight were frozen, and one had an unfamiliar name. The bartender was kind enough to let me try before ordering... it was a frozen tequila cocktail basically -- nothing like a margarita though. I opted for the flight, a slice of veggie pizza, and a slice of Sicilian. The drinks were wonderful, hands down. From the frose to the aperol spritz, it was a delightful array of beverages. The pizza is bomb. They've got a great crust, delicious tomato sauce and yummy cheese. The veggies were just a bonus. All the while, the music was a vibe while I took in the retro decor. What an excellent addition to the area. I wish I was closer so I could go more!

The bar portion is cool, a ton of picturesque spots! The service was fairly fast but we weren't told about the happy hour deals until after we ordered drinks and it wasn't listed anywhere we could openly see. The pizza is still really lack luster- the pepperoni slice was decent but the its a situation slice was so dry. I think it needs more vodka sauce on top but between the lack of sauce and the really bland crust, the pizza was a 2/5 (tons of toppings and side of ranch are only redeeming factors). If they step the pizza game up a bit, I'd definitely be back but soberly the pizza doesn't compare to even the classic NYC slice.

I actually really dig this place!Formally Bronx Pizza, Big Tony's has revamped their pizza game in addition to expanding the entire menu ....to include wings, cheesesteaks, mozzarella sticks, calzones & more. There's also a cool retro bar in the space that was not there before....full with well stocked libation, beer & wine!!!! As soon as you walk into the place, you can't help but to notice all the pizzas on display. All the items on display looked really good and fresh. Although the slices are reheated and warmed in the pizza oven upon purchasing, this did not degrade the taste, flavor factor or snap on the crispy, crust. I tried the meat trio and a deluxe slice. Both were on point and delicious. Also, I'm a big extra sauce kind of guy and these bad boys were satisfying in that area. They were not dry and had the right amount of sauce to crust factor.....because I can't stand a dry pizza! If you're looking for something quick to eat when in the Clarendon neighborhood, a cold brew and/or a tasty slice....then this is the place to be. The Happy Hour and Daily Dive Deals are THE BEST in town. Even late nights on weekends you can get a slice or whole pie made to order. Check this place out for yourself. Between the 80's retro vibe and food...you are taken back in time to sort of the arcade -- high school hang out days. All they need is a pinball machine and Ms. PAC-Man tabletop to seal the deal. I'm surprised these folks are still around. They rebranded the place which looks great, but the food is still the same. It's not special but if you're drunk I guess it gets the job done service is not wowing. The ambiance is nice on the inside at least. There's seating available and tables inside. They also have alcoholic beverages

We really enjoyed our meal and the friendly staff was attentive towards our kids, I give the food , service and atmosphere a solid 10/10.

Great pizza. I get the full pie every time never disappointed. Fast service great staff
