Best Buns Bakery & Burgers

I was a little apprehensive with trying Best Buns Bakery but I soon learned that I was completely wrong. After a morning workout and needing food asap I stopped by this bakery that was close to my friend's place. I'd quickly found them on Yelp and figured I'd give it a try. When I arrived there were people sitting outside and the line was pretty hefty for 10:30 am. There were lots of associates helping at the register so the line went really quickly. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and I was scarrereeed lol. I've never had a good BEC in the DMV and that could be because I'm so picky since I grew up in Jersey where the BEC bagels are crazy good. Best Buns Bakery BEC shocked me. I ate that sandwich up so quickly and I love the cheese that they put on it. Another plus for them was that they had hot sauce. Tobasco is not my favorite but it got the job done. I think cholula would take this BEC to the next level. Looking forward to going to my friends house again because I would try something else from here. Thanks

I rarely give a bad review, but this couldn't go unsaid. It's been a while since I've been to Best Buns so I decided to check out their newest location in Springfield. I ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup, mayo, onions and mushrooms which is my standard when ordering a burger. However, I was totally surprised and put off by how bland it was. I mean literally no taste at all. The saving grace were the French fries which were hot when served. I would like to say that it must have been a bad night for the staff, but I don't know if I will visit again to see if that was the case.

Can't go wrong with a Great American Restaurant. They utilize their fresh bread baking expertise to craft a perfect brioche burger bun. The fries are their crispy shoestring fries you would find at Sweetwater, Silverado, or Mikes. Overall a solid burger, consistent, delicious.

Best Buns Bakery & Burgers is located near a corner, next door to Caryle with street parking available (please note that you have to pay for parking). There is also covered and partially covered outdoor seating for both restaurants that is dog friendly. My husband and I decided to come here with our little girl dog for breakfast. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering the following inside at a register: Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, $5.95 prior to tax- I opted to get a meatless sandwich. I liked the sourdough bread that was used and I thought the sandwich was tasty. I ended up only eating half of it because I wanted to also have some home fries. I saved my other half for the next morning (reheated, it was great). Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, $7.95 prior to tax- My husband ordered this breakfast sandwich and thought it was good. But he wished there was more meat in it. Each half sandwich had a thin sausage patty. Home Fries, $3.65 prior to tax- I got an order of potato. This potato comes with carnalized onions, which was nice. But the potato was oily, greasy and rather salty. I don't know if I would order this again for myself. Sticky Bun, $4.25 prior to tax- My husband ordered this to bring home with us. The bun was very sweet, maybe a little too sweet for my liking but my husband liked it. There were plenty of chopped pecans in it. Ginger Crinkle Cookie, $3 prior to tax- I opted for a gingerbread cookie, in which I ate 2 days after purchase. It was still very moist and had a wonderful ginger flavor, but was not overpowering. But this cookie was a little messy with the cookie covered in sugar. Regular Grande Coffee, $2.95 prior to taxChai Latte, Grande, $5.25 prior to tax------------------------------------------- (Total= $35.65 after tax, prior to tip) Wait time for our drinks and baked goods was very quick. But did have to wait a little longer for our sandwiches, about 10 minutes after ordering. Overall, Best Buns Bakery & Burgers is a nice casual place for a meal or snack. If I lived in the area, I most likely would be a regular.

Great place for a quick bite, although seating is very limited. I noticed most people were picking up orders to go, but we were planing on a sit down lunch and were lucky to grab one of the 4 outside tables.We all ordered hamburgers which were very nicely served, we had the small ones which were actually huge!! Nice price point given the size. Hubby had the turkey sandwich and he said it was great. Also big and very tasty!Wait was about 15 min. Other than the limited seating, it was a nice option for a quick bite!

The best pastries I've had in years!!! Amazing cafe, clean and inviting, friendly employees. I couldn't have enjoyed this more. I'm traveling, so I might have to go back tomorrow morning before I leave.

I like best buns and I cannot lie!While they do offer baked goods, I am willing to put my foodie reputation on the line and say that Best Buns is arguably the best spot to get a burger in Nova. If you love flavorful burgers that are cheesy and topped with fresh ingredients (make sure to add the wicked good sauce on your burger), then you have to get your hands on a Best Buns burger!I haven't tried any of their pastries or baked goods yet, but based on how good everything smells I'll definitely be back just for that.Inside isn't very big or offer much dining space, but they do have plenty of outdoor seating facing the street if you want to people watch as you eat.

This place totally lives up to its name. It really does have the best bread and pastries around! We are big fans of their cinnamon roll and it could totally win the best cinnamon roll in the area (there, I said it!). We also love their bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches too and I'm obsessed with their ham and cheese croissant. So much layering and flakiness that make the croissant the absolute best! Definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to return!

Always pick up breakfast sandwiches when I am in town. Sooo good! And their carrot cake is a family favorite, too! (Order that ahead)

Ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. My boyfriend got a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. We also ordered some home fries to share. We waited about 15 mins for our order. They don't offer a lot of seating, but we were lucky to get two bar stools inside facing the window. The sandwiches were both delicious and super filling! We both just ate half of the large sandwich and took the other halves home to enjoy later. The home fries were crispy on the edges but soft in the middle, just how I like it + the flavor was great! Overall, it was great and I'm already looking forward to visiting again to try their pastries.
