Went here for wine and pizza tasting night - it was amazing!! It was a great time with friends, amidst their giant table. Everyone was so welcoming and made it a fun environment for us. We loved our pairing with fantastic wines with delicious pizzas.I'm usually not a plain Jane fan, but their pizza slices - from the thin but pillowy crust, sauce, and nutty cheese felt like a perfect bite. Didn't need any toppings BUT after trying the pepperoni, mushroom, and hot lips it truly elevated the experience. Highly recommend! My favorite was the mushrooms, from edge to edge absolutely chock full of garlicky, seasoned mushrooms. The hot lips were a lot of fun - covered in spicy mini peppers and a splash of pineapple to quench the flames. Unique and delicious. And you can't go wrong with their pepperoni - a delightful classic where each bite has a slice of their gourmet blend pepps. This is for sure our new favorite place! Their slices giant, their portions and hearts, generous. I encourage everyone to support places like this where local owners care about their community and are so welcoming and supportive to all.

Benny Diforza's is home to the big slice and a big heart with staff and owners that are friendly and welcoming. This franchise has spread across the Commonwealth and still manages to feel like a local neighborhood pizza joint. It doesn't compromise on size, taste, or homeiness. They're serving up a simple, straightforward menu of pizza by the slice or a whole pie and drinks and dips. That's it. Looking for a salad or calzone? Nope. You come here knowing you're getting pizza and you're gonna like it.The prices may seem steep at $7-8 per slice and $44-52 for a whole pizza, but I cannot stress this enough: they are huge!28" pizzas - that's over 2 feet across! Public math says that each slice is 14", and they are not cutting these into little skinny things. Recommendation is to start with one slice and move to two. Unless you know you're hungry then just jump straight to two and see where it takes you.You will be the center of attention at the party if you bring one of the pizzas to go.

When you and a couple friends go in for a couple slices and walk out with a 28 inch pizza because it makes more financial sense, am I right? That's the experience you're looking at at Benny Diforza's, home of a pizza so massive that everyone you pass with it will be instantly entertained by the comedy of you maneuvering it. You might need a bigger car!But is the pizza worth it? Or the slices worth it? Even putting myself in the frame of mind of DC prices, 6 bucks for big NY slice is pushing it. Paying mid 40s with tax for one of these giant pizzas which cost nowhere near that much to make, even more so.As to the taste, it was frankly pretty similar to most any NY style slice I've had in my lifetime. I'd say the crust was done perfectly, which is the hardest part, but the pizza itself i felt needed more sauce as it tasted kind of dry. The cheese used had a nice stretch to it, good flavor, and there was an ample amount of pepperoni topping on the half that had it. Overall, the taste was good, but not great. For me though, for what we paid for it, I wanted it to stand out more. It didn't really do that for me. The most enjoyable part was watching people's reactions as we tried to move this thing around, or when we got it home to a person that wasn't expecting it.

Excellent spot for a quick slice or taking home a gargantuan 48' pie. Make sure to call in advance or go when they aren't busy because wait times tend to go up.

Solid NYC style pizza. They are doing all the basics nicely. I like that it's not a grease bomb like Wise Guys. The sauce tastes very nostalgic and overall I'd go back again. The novelty is it's a huge pizza, but it's also pretty good.

Never would've thought how good the slice would be! Usually the quality is subpar with jumbo slices but these guys nailed it. The crust was crispy yet fluffy and the undercarriage was perfect. Surprisingly I was able to fold it like a regular sized slice. Is it the best pizza I've ever had? No. But for $7 you can't beat the quantity and quality of a slice. The Pepperoni itself was nothing special but the rest of the slice was.I could tell the Guy behind the counter knew what he was doing when he took my slice off the tray and put it directly on the stone in the oven to get the slice a crispy undercarriage. Will absolutely come back.

Benny Diforza is known for their big slices of pizza. My love for pizza runs deep so I had to give this place a try. The pizza slices range from your typical cheese to a Philly cheesesteak. I went with the sausage and cheese slice. I went after work so there was no lunch crowd. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. My slice did not take long at all to come out. The pizza was hot, not overly saucy but still tasty. While I was there, another customer ordered a whole pie. It was interesting to see the customer get through the door with the giant pizza box!I would return it's not my usual pizza preference but it satisfied my pizza craving.

Pizza is one of the few things I am an expert in. I will go head-to-toe with anyone on planet Earth. I have had more slices than there is sand on a beach. True; OK thousands...lol.Pizza is based on the principles of bread, sauce, cheese, and toppings. Benny Diforza your pizza needs some work. Let me say first; that bigger is not always best. On my visit, I had a slice of sausage. At best it was OK. When I received my slice the sausage was this pale-looking thin piece of meat. No flavor. Crust mush. A crime has been committed. It had no cheese taste. The crime continues.Benny; this was an ugly slice. I felt the ratio of cheese to bread and sauce; was tasteless. The point was so soft it folded down. I had to tear off to eat. I don't eat pizza that way. I mentioned the huge size of the slice before. Question: how do you place this slice in your toaster oven to heat on takeout? Bigger is not good in this case.Overall, I will be back. I want to give them a second chance because the Service was outstanding. Every single person that walked in was GREETED by the staff. I was there for an hour and before the door shut as a customer walked in; I heard "Hello welcome"; "Thank you for coming ". This was awesome. I was impressed by this. They had a decent selection of canned craft beers. About a dozen styles. Something for everyone? Maybe? Lots of seating. Elevator music has to go.Next visit I will ask for a well-done slice...to be continued...

Tried a slice from Benny for the first time; walked in and they had some cheese pizzas, and then what you order they can add the toppings before it goes into the oven. A slice is about $7-9 depending on what you get, and one slice is plenty. The slices are huge and delicious. Inside there are some cool old casino games which is a neat decoration. Also it's open late which is a plus. I'll be back!
