Ben Yehuda Pizza

Food was 100/100 and I couldn't have been happier to eat tonight from Ben Yehuda Pizza. This is a shop located in the Kemp Mill neighborhood. It has plenty of parking and they serve kosher vegetarian and vegan food. All pizza cheese can be substituted with vegan cheese. I just wish they also offered gluten free options but I can't complain much given how delicious their food was. I had a bad day at work but their cheesy gooey delicious pizza and cheese sticks totally made my day. I'm looking forward to returning in the future to try their other menu items.

I drove 45 minutes, on purpose , to have a slice of pizza at this restaurant. I placed my order, gave my name, and was told that the pizza would take just a little bit because the last two slices in the hotbox had already been sold. I sat. Then I waited for the next 25 minutes while other people's orders came out and were delivered to them at their tables. Four families came in after me, and were served within 5 minutes of arrival. One couple had the exact same order as I did. A grandmother came in and was served a slice of pizza and a slushy immediately and then when her grandson finished, she went back up for a second slice of pizza and a second slushy. While I sat and waited. I had to walk up to the counter and request my food. Never. Again.UPDATE: The owner reached out to me directly, and I am satisfied with his response to the situation.

The pizza at Ben Yehuda is fine if you are in a bind - for instance before or after visiting the nearby MVA or CVS in the shopping center. However, I would not necessarily go out of my way to have pizza here. Perhaps, folks have better experiences when ordering an entire pizza pie instead of a pizza slice. During my second visit, I stopped by for a quick slice of pizza. *Note, I wasn't impressed during my first visit, but I like to give places another chance because everyone has an off-day or two.* Unfortunately, the restaurant only had cheese pizza available. Ok, so I was not expecting a slew of pizza varieties, but I was hoping for an option with a topping or two. The display had one slice of pizza remaining, and I asked the young lady behind the counter if that was all. To which she replied, yes. I have to say that I was quite annoyed that within two minutes of eating my slice of pizza, they put a brand new pizza pie in the display case. Thinking to myself, I was like why didn't she say something like: if you don't mind waiting a few minutes, another cheese pizza will be ready. Looking back, I guess I could have asked her when would a fresh pizza pie be available. The slice itself tasted like cardboard with no flavor, which could have been due to it sitting in the display for God knows how long.

Let me start by saying that I do not keep kosher. But I heard that the pizza from Ben Yehuda was so great that I decided to try it yesterday. I was not disappointed. I ordered a 9" half supreme/half Greek pizza. The supreme has green peppers, mushrooms, veg sausage and pepperoni. The Greek half had kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and feta cheese. Crust was crisp and tomato sauce rich and appropriately sweet. Cheese is high quality and toppings generously apportioned. If you do not finish the whole pizza, it reheats wonderfully in the toaster oven.

Been eating here since I was 9, still my favorite pizza place. The pizza recipe is phenomenal, and always ready very quick. They open an hour after shabbos which is great. Employees are always nice and keep the place clean. There is a hand washing area outside of the bathrooms which is lovely. Could not recommend enough! Even my non-kosher friends love it.

Great customer service and very tasty pizza! I'm happy to have this place close by. The only critique is that it is a bit on the expensive side but it iss tasty!!

I love the cheese and sauce so much that whenever I take a bite I smile. I also like the the look of the restaurant and the fact you can get premade pizza straight from the warmer and not have to wait for it to cook.

I have twice (the last time was April 6) ordered and paid for food online and when I arrived during the hours the restaurant stated it was open for order pickups, the restaurant WAS CLOSED!

I order a med pizza and a giant fries and when I got my order it was the wrong size and the medium pizza raw from the center and when I told them about they gave me bad a attitude and refused to help me.
