Overall, the food at this restaurant is tasty. We tried two different types of waffles. One was the original waffle with whipped cream on the side because they do give you a generous portion and the chicken and waffles. The chicken and waffles were the star of the meal. I love the popcorn on top and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. For a cocktail, I recommend the Bellini! The only downside to this meal was the jerk turkey bacon. We were thinking that the entire pieces of Bacon we're going to be coated with jerk sauce. They were just drizzled on top. We recommend that the turkey bacon be brined in jerk sauce versus just drizzled on top because you really are just eating turkey bacon with sauce. Our waitress was also super generous and kind. We were very pleased with the service at this restaurant and the decor is also super cute and the entire restaurant is clean very spaced out for a table seating and Iwould definitely recommend for brunch.

I went for brunch at Belga Cafe during DC's Winter Restaurant Week - and what it was quite the treat.From the minute we walked in to the restaurant for our 1:45pm reservation, it was clear that it is a very popular brunch spot in the Barracks Row area. It was busyyy... But, as we had a reservation we were seated within the first 5 mins of arriving.Overall, everyone loved what they had. My friends both ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Thighs and Waffles - which they both enjoyed. I ordered the Omelette au Fromage Classique with the Bucket of Applewood Smoked Bacon, and it was great. We all devoured the Baba au Rhum for dessert - so, definitely make sure you give that a try if you're planning on going.Their cocktails were also good. We had the Aperol Spritz, Bart Simpson at Your Service and the Espresso Martini, and overall they were all ab fab. Overall, this would be a great place to grab brunch or dinner with family and/or friends.

We had yet another wonderful meal last night at Belga Café. We've been going to BC for as long as it has been open, celebrating major events like when our boys graduated from HS, or just because we haven't been there in a few months and want to go back. The restaurant basically never disappoints. Last night was one of those "no special reason" trips. We had a great table, and the food was wonderful. My wife basically feasted on the specials (cauliflower soup and cod) while I did the beet salad special and the Halibut. All dishes were super, but I thought the halibut was especially first rate last night. We ended with a peanut butter waffle that we split. Yum, but not your diet plate. What often makes our trips to Belga Café so special, and did again last night, was the service. Yulia, our primary server was so friendly and fun. And between her and the kitchen, the timing of the food was just about perfect. That is such a big deal to us, as we don't like to be rushed, but also don't like a big wait to be recognized when seated. Yulia nailed it for sure.Overall, a superb evening (ergo why I took the time to write a review). And as an added treat, Chef Bart was working the front of the house last night and, along with him taking our drink order, we got to converse a bit with the owner and chef of this wonderful restaurant.

Stopped in for some dinner and drinks and was impressed on the first visit. I loved the burger and the menu has a lot of options that will please everyone's taste from mussels to special three course meal events. The vibe is chill and upscale. Loveee the beer selection as this is a Belgian style restaurant so they have Duvel and Stella which can be hard to find. The service is great at the bar and Kaylie was so great! Will definitely be back.

4 stars only because I do think this place is a bit overpriced. However they do have special multicourse menus sometimes and a great restaurant week deal. Other than price, it's a great place. On my recent visit, the manager (didn't get his name, super tall guy) was exceptionally friendly and helpful, with our coats and checking in our experience. There are two really great seasonal hot drinks! Both were amazing and I recommend them highly! The beet salad was really good. The crab pasta had a thinner sauce than I expected but tasted good and had ample very fresh tasting crab. The burger is large and comes with fries.

How did I go so long without trying this place? It's delicious and there are plenty of gluten free options. Our server was hilarious and attentive and we were seated in a cozy little corner near the kitchen so we had privacy and a view. I will definitely be coming back here for a delicious brunch, though I wish there was a bottomless option.

Food was decent and you can get a table for 4 without a reservation on a Saturday morning. However the service was terrible and we were just finishing up our food almost 1.5 hours in, and got told to leave soon as there's a line outside. One of the waitress outside was also very aggressive when taking our orders. We came here as my friend has a theater class nearby right after.

Belga is amazing. The food is incredible and the service is impeccable. Chef, Kaylie, Rinata and the whole crew create an unforgettable experience.

We came to this restaurant for the incredible waffle but honestly the server Camilla changed my life. Let me tell you the truth. I came to this restaurant bc my friend was on a date and I wanted to assess the man she was going out with from a far. Creepy? Perhaps but also hilarious and entertaining. I sent her a drink so that the man knows she's a valuable queen. Camilla was so helpful in very politely and respectfully sending the drink at the exact right time (she recommended the time based on the stage in the meal) Camilla is amazing and I love her and she's so nice. Also very patient w me when I had like 9 options to choose from and helped me narrow mt choices lol.

Great espresso martini from Kailey! Good service and the ambience was wonderful. We will be back!
