Cute little shop in Georgetown with a boba shop on the ground level and a ramen shop downstairs. You order at a touch screen which I like since it gives me time to figure out what I want.It was insanely hot out so I tried the lychee mojito with crystal boba which was very refreshing. I didn't add any myself, but I was surprised to see alcohol on the list of toppings you could add to your drink!I'll have to come back and try their tapioca boba next.

Pretty good service and pretty good Boba tea! Not much else to say besides that this is a great spot to stop by when you're in George Town

Had a boba craving kick in while visiting Georgetown, so we found our way to BeauTea. Though we are not knew to the BeauTea chain, this was our first time visiting this location. Our drinks were crafted well and tasted good. Service was efficient and the woman working the counter and making the drinks patiently answered questions that we posed. Once our order was placed she was quick to put them together. The inside space was clean with a few tables available for patrons to enjoy their drinks in the establishment. We did have a little trouble finding the entrance and building as the signage wasn't immediately clear where they were located. Also, at the time of our visit, they were only taking orders through the self-service kiosk. This was not a problem for us, but if you are a little technology-phobic, just be aware that the staff was not taking orders and you had to do so through the kiosk on your own.We ended up trying the Taro Milk Tea and Rose Honey Milk Tea. The Taro Milk Tea was classic and tasted exactly as we expected. The Rose Honey Milk Tea was unique and tasted so refreshing, especially on a warm, humid afternoon. This was my first time tasting this drink and I loved it. The boba was a nice addition to the Rose Honey Milk Tea. Not too sweet and a good texture. BeauTea in Georgetown is a solid location to get your bubble tea/boba fix. They even had some boozy options/additions if that's your cup of tea (hehe).

Ordered a matcha milk tea and a rose honey green milk tea. The boba was super hard and the drinks tasted like soap. Might have been an off day...but I will not be coming back. Peace and love.

They didn't accept the yelp check in $1 off bc both of the workers didn't know how to do that :( Got the kumquat lemon passion fruit with boba and it was alright since none of the flavors were super strong. The boba was a little too chewy for me. Cute little place and they have the option to spike your drinks for additional $3

Since it was raining, we took cover in this little establishment. There is the fun option of adding a shot of vodka, tequila, or rum to your order. My friends and I ordered their Taro Milk Tea, Thai ice Milk Tea, and Strawberry Green Tea. You can definitely tell that they use powder or their drinks. Overall I was not very welld by the flavors, service, or bobas themselves. Not sure if I would come back again.

I like how Beautea has long hours and a fairly clean establishment with bright lights and nice looking displays (including a good ordering kiosk). However, I found the drinks and drink selection to be a bit underwhelming. The simple menu could be to help alleviate staffing problems as there were only two employees working during my visit (hence why they asked people to order from the kiosk, so they could have 2 drink makers instead of 1 cashier and 1 drink maker).The purple pineapple sparking drink looked pretty but I found it to be a bit too sweet and without a strong carbonation element or other unique feature - was kind of flat.. almost like a colorful fruit juice. The brown sugar milk tea was equally too sweet, and I found the tea to be a bit too mild where it was drowned out quite a bit by the milk.Overall - not a bad place to get a drink but nothing in particular would really entice me to visit here over other options.

This is the only bubble tea place I know that will spike your tea (for a fee). You can make alcoholic bubble teas! I haven't tried one yet but it always stood out.The drink sizes are large, one size, and you pay the DC premium. The boba is average in texture and taste but they make decent drinks in unique flavors!

First, they accepted the Yelp check-in coupon to have $1 off per drink order! Instead of using the kiosk, go up to the front and pay with an individual. I've been to many boba spots in DC, and this one is the best I've found yet. Tea was fresh, and I especially enjoyed the consistency of the boba - soft and chewy. Would definitely come again! Service was also pretty fast considering the number of people who were ordering. Ambiance was quiet and pleasant. Next time, I'll have to check out their restaurant upstairs!

(Tip) If you check in on Yelp, you can get a $1 off!But you have to place the order with a person (not on the kiosk) to get the discount Kiosks are very convenient, visible and easy to use You just place the order,pay for it and then wait for the staff to call up your order number This is the only bubble tea place I've been to that also offers alcohol and can add a shot of something to your drink ( be prepared to show your ID)(Purple Pineapple) with a shot of rumThe rum shot was very light and hardly taste it The drink was light sweet flavor (Earl Oolong tea)I could hardly taste the teaIt was very diluted taste even tho I got "less ice"(Bathroom)In the backPretty clean but make sure you lock the door! I also wish they listed the ingredients in certain drink combos. I still don't know what was in the Pineapple Purple
