Bawadi Mediterranean Grill

Well if your GPS takes you around to the back parking lot like mine did, it might look rather unassuming BUT go INSIDE! You will not be disappointed!The pita is made fresh in house in a wood fired oven! You pass it as you head to the inside seating area. There's also an outside area and they have hooka too The food is buffet style with different hot options depending on the day. Kabobs, roasted chicken and rice seem to be staples. Then different stews and rice. Salad, hummus, tzatziki, and babaganush are cold option staples. Different coffees, espresso, tea, FRESH lemonade (gotta try it!) as well as canned sodas.Deserts are plentiful variety of baklava and other sweets I can't remember the name of. They are all delicious.Folks are friendly and happy to explain the different foods if you're not familiar.We'll be back again for sure!

Bawadi aka Ladies of the Desert was fabulous! The restaurant is in a very cool spot up on a hill, and then the inside is very cozy and traditional. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful especially the nice woman who told me what Bawadi means and told me the best food on the menu haha I'm definitely going back, the hummus, kebabs, falafel, fries, salad, rice, everything was very very good! Five star review for you guys, u guys rock!!!Thanks so much for a great experience last night!

Very friendly establishment with a lovely atmosphere. The wait staff was attentive and didn't rush us out of the restaurant. The service is a little slow, but I felt it added to the relaxed atmosphere. The food was good - the kufta was very flavorful and the sauces were so good.

THIS place! The food was SOOO good. My sister and brother brought me. Ere for the Sunday buffet. Lots of very flavorful dishes to choose from, but why not try them all? I'd never been before, but I will return again and agaid

Best iftar buffet ever!! For $34.99 - it was AMAZING!!! Different types of meats, salads, and rice. There was also pasta and samosas. Love supporting Palestinian restaurants. We also got their FRESH strawberry and pineapple juices which were heavenly. A MUST!!The service was great and the employees were so kind. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and spacious with cozy tents!

We had the dinner buffet and it was amazing! There was a nice variety of dishes ranging from shawarma, to makluba, kabsa, fresh pita and others! Each item was unique, fresh, and delicious! I also got mint tea which was delicious. The servers were friendly and kept the tables clean. The ambiance feels warm and cozy with Palestinian music! While we haven't had the pleasure of meeting the owners, they are passionate about upholding Palestinian cuisine and culture.I highly recommend this place and worth checking out! Also support Palestinian children's relief fund and UNRWA !

Love this whole establishment. The inside is so beautiful & filled with rich Palestinian culture. The staff are so friendly, they make you feel right at home. The food was simply amazing, every dish was cooked to perfection. Everyone should come experience Bawadi at least once

This is seriously the most delicious halal restaurant in the whole DMV. The first time I went to Bawadi was in 2021, and I fell in love with it. The service is always very welcoming, and the ambiance is familiar. It doesn't matter how many times you come; it never gets repetitive, and all of the dishes are amazing. My latest discovery was the eggplant salad, and it was mind-blowing.May Allah (SWT) keep blessing this restaurant.

Went in first time. Thursday buffet starts 18:30 we got there at 18:00, guess what food was ready and we went strait in. Good selection of rice dishes chicken shawarma kabobs Shia tawook fatoush tabouli hummus baba ghanoug pizza meat pies chicken egg rolls falafel etc etcMint lemonade excellent recommended then we ordered the kinafe good Well recommended
