Batch 13

I came here because I was in search for Georgian wine, and I read other reviews saying that the owners of this wine shop are Georgian. The inside is spacious, with two levels, and a good variety of wine as well as other types of alcohol. The woman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful, and directed me to where the Georgian wine was. I picked up a bottle of Amber wine for $25. I brought it to my friend's house for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it- a few people took pictures of the bottle so they could buy it. I thought $25 was reasonable considering the wine was from 2016, and tasted really good. This place will probably become my go-to wine store in DC from now on!

Wanting wine to go with our leftover pizza, we ventured into Batch 13. It provided quite a nice atmosphere where we could choose from a variety of wines. The employees were very helpful in pointing us to the white wine section where prices were very affordable. Would highly recommend!

Still a spot that prices above msrp but manageable and fair...most bottles are Just a shade below secondary prices. They do have a nice selection throughout the store. You a bound to find something whether it's on their multi-leveled shelves, tables, or in boxes. They even have store picks! Will definitely be back. Enjoy.

Incredible selection of wines. If you're looking for Georgian wine in particular this is the place for you. Friendly service if you have any questions. Clean and well organized shelves. Overall an A+ wine store.

Well-stocked wine and liquor store in a surprisingly airy and refined space. A helpful staff member was available when I arrived and guided my selection thoughtfully. As full disclosure, I was on the hunt for Georgian wines and went to Batch 13 knowing it was Georgian-owned - so I had a feeling the staff would be able to help me. That said, the gentleman who helped me with my purchase was responsive and knowledgeable but not pushy; he had personal knowledge of the wines and wineries and patiently talked through several options to hone in on wines I would enjoy. I mentioned I had several blocks to walk so he considerately packed the bottles with cardboard dividers to prevent any damage. I had a lovely visit and will certainly return.I found the prices to be reasonable for the central location. I look forward to exploring more of the selection on my next visit!

Amazing selection of wines and super friendly service! Loved that they had a huge selection of Georgian wines.

If for nothing else, Batch 13 is a beautiful liquor shopping experience. It's in the heart of 14th Street NW with two levels of every kind of alcohol imagineable. They have gin, bourbon, whiskey, vodka, mixers, wine, beer, cider from all across the globe. It's amazing to just look at each beautifully designed bottle. They also prioritize local booze. The prices are a little steep, but what isn't in DC anymore?

Very solid selection but also some hard to find liquors and bitters if you have a particular recipe in mind.

Batch 13 has a large selection of many different types of liquor, and it actually has more of a selection than most places in DC. It's location makes it very convenient and I found the price points to be on par with and/or even cheaper than most places in DC that offer the same selection. Much of the alcohol offered here is pretty rare and is pretty difficult to find anywhere else.What really stood out for me was the fact that I had asked the owner if they carried a particular and rare alcohol, and though they didn't, they went through the trouble of putting in a special order just for me. This type of customer service is extremely valuable, and I actually couldn't believe they did that. Only a few days later, the owner called me and told me the stock was in. I will definitely patron Batch 13 again.

Great spirits selection, best spot for international wine!! Love go there and hang out with them, George and Vato are the best and Miguel is very knowledgeable about their products
