I had high hopes for this place due to all the great reviews and wished I could agree with them. Unfortunately, my hopes were let down as soon as I walked into the restaurant. In general, I have a hard time with places that reek in oil smell (see my other reviews...) and it was the first thing that came like a wave when I entered the restaurant. The prices were pretty reasonable as we checked out the menu and placed an order for: hummus, chicken shawarma sandwich and chicken kabob entree. I wasn't going to be picky about the ambience nor the cleanliness of the place as I've been to a good amount of restaurants that lacked both but still offered delicious foods. But unfortunately, the food was a letdown. In general, the food was good but I didn't understand why everything was drenched in oil. Of all the times I've had Mediterranean and/or Middle Eastern foods, I always enjoyed it due to the fresh ingredients and the satisfaction of eating something clean & healthy. But this truly wasn't the case for us afterwards. Side Note:1. Very limited and tight parking spaces in a small lot that share with other small shops2. Handful of tables inside and outside the restaurant 3. The restaurant is not clean and is somewhat filthy. Even the tray that was used to bring out our foods was extremely dirty. It really makes me second guess all the food and the preparation process. 4. The owner was friendly as he took our order. Price: $$

My brother and I were in the area and saw this place. The exterior is on a busy street and parking is tight in between other businesses but manageable. The interior is clean and seating is small. The owner and staff members are very friendly. All items are freshly made to order. We ordered 3 items: 1) Beef shawarma 2) Sujuk 3) Basil's signature fries. The beef shawarma was served with salad, tahini sauce, naan bread and chickpea stew. The beef was tender and delicious but surprisingly the naan bread wasn't your typical soft and airy but very thin like paper, it was crispy and hard. The tahini sauce was bland. The highlight was their chickpea stew which we didn't get enough of that. The sujuk was very delicious and we wanted more. It was a stuffed pita bread with Mediterranean sausage, tomato and garlic sauce. We folded the sujuk like a taco and stuffed it with the salad and beef shawarma which enhances it to another level. Their signature fries were very aromatic and amazingly good. We will definitely make a return visit to try other items on the menu.

Found this spot by accident and I'm glad we did. Great food, great portion. Not much of a sit down. More of a take out. The hostess was very welcoming. There is also seating outside.

I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich with a side of fries. The taste was 10/10, and the food came out much quicker than I expected. I'd come here again!

Delicious Lebanese food! When I need to recover and eat clean food there's nothing better than Mediterranean food around Ramadan and Passover.Legit 5 stars for the category and hope it stays the same for years to come. Also a great value for the quality.Mixed grill kabob, lamb, chicken, and steak cooked perfectly! Juicy but not rare. Kabobs and rice are the milder Lebanese style.Tabolah did not have onion which was

Great food. Authentic and delicious. Simple ingredients and everything was made very well. We order a few manaeesh and two types of shawarma sandwiches and all were great. I also loved that they brought salad and bread. They served the food quickly. Highly recommend this place!

Food was too salty for my taste. Didn't seem as healthy as Mediterranean food would seem to be. I got lentil soup and a salad both were very salty.

I came here for a fencing tournament at ELITE FENCING ACADEMY and quickly became a huge fan. The owner seemed warm and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. We tried everything from the chicken swarma to the delicious falafel platter to the creamy hummus. SO GOOD! My only critique is he offered the lady in front of me a baklava on the house but he didn't offer me one. HOWEVER, this place is my absolute favorite mediterranean restaurant in the area. Keep up the awesome cooking!!!

This is a wonderful, unpretentious little restaurant that serves authentic Lebanese food. The chicken shawarma sandwich is excellent, the lamb shank is tender and well seasoned. Accompanying sides of chickpeas, tossed salad, and basmati rice were all well prepared and really good. The restaurant is small, only 5 tables, with some counter seating. Food preparation takes a little longer because items are prepared as ordered, not sitting under a heat lamp. I'm so glad I went!
