Whether it's for lunch or dinner Barcelona is one of my go-to restaurants. Their tapas selection is fantastic especially if you have folks with dietary restrictions e.g., vegetarian or vegan and they regularly change up their menu. Don't forget about their larger dishes as I always get a slightly larger paella and take it home - which is incredibly rare for me.The hosts and staff are beyond kind and knowledgeable when it comes to the variety of wines that they have and their service is consistently good. When the weather is good their outdoor seating makes for a good time. Be weary of Thursday nights as it can get incredibly busy especially if you haven't made a reservation so I always recommend folks to check their website beforehand. At the end of the day Barcelona is a great place if you want to hang out with friends, take a business lunch or dinner, or just enjoy some drinks. The decor and overall experience is the best that Reston Town Center can offer with Tatte or Sixty Vines coming in a close second and third respectively.

Service: Great service by our waiter and staff. They checked in on our table several times throughout the evening. It was a Monday evening and it wasn't a packed house.Food: Delicious! I had the while Branzino, arugula salad and potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. Wine selection was abundant.Ambiance: very beautiful interior! TIP #1:There are specials throughout the week. Check their website for specifics.We came for 1/2 wine and it included the entire WINE COLLECTION which is great because a lot of restaurants only ahve a select few ro chose from.TIP#2:Park in the garage next to Jacksons (same building). Free after 5pm during the week.

We ordered a sangria, bunch of tapas, cheeseboard, and dessert. The sangria is really good. Unfortunately the rest of the stuff falls flat. The patatas bravas are good but nothing unique or spectacular. The sheep cheese is probably the best combination of unique and tasty. The eggplant, chorizo, and sheep are both bland. The basque cake was also not that good and felt frozen. This place used to be a favorite but likely won't be returning other than for drinks now. It was busy for a Wednesday night but the service was also awfully slow.

Party of 15 is an insane ask for a restaurant but at Barcelona I guess anything is possible. They were BUSY and we waited a bit for the table. We were seated and our waitress was an angel. Super attentive, super sweet, and did her best under the circumstances.The food was eh, I don't personally like Spanish food and I'm assuming since it was so insane inside that the kitchen was just pumping out whatever they could. We ordered a bunch of tapas but ended up missing a lot of them as our party was just too big to figure out the chaos of who ordered what. They did a birthday dessert for the birthday girl which was super cute (an olive oil cake). I would def go again to barcelona just to be with the people and the vibes but honestly wouldn't go out of my way.

I am in love with this place and I can't believe that I didn't click any pics of their food !! Maybe coz I was so occupied eating it !! I do have the wine pic thou of that counts . But yes, their wine selection is amazing and the food to pair with them is super. The servers are so eager to assist you with the food choices that one does not go wrong. It's a Tapas style place which is hustling and bustling any day of the week. Go slow in ordering as their serving size is not bad so order 2-3 tapas at a time , they do come out very quickly so you can enjoy a sip before ordering the next. I recommend reservation ahead of time so that you don't get disappointed or have a longer wait coz this place is happening place !

Rather loud in here (music was bumping) and was super busy on a Wednesday night. We had a large party and were rather crammed in at what should have probably been comfortably 4 tops but we had like 14 people. That was my main complaint -- feeling cramped both personally and what we could fit on the table.My favorites we tried were:- gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp)- spinach and chickpea cazuelaThe cauliflower was also quite good. Grilled octopus and patatas bravas were kind of meh; the octopus was super charred yet undercooked, the potatoes were a bit bland. The meatballs were fine. We enjoyed the bread they bring to the table.The service was very good considering how busy it was and our large group. I would come back with fewer people to experience this in a more comfortable setting.

This was my first visit to Barcelona. We were walking around Reston Town Center after lunch and decided to stop by. My friend said their Sangria was really good, so we just gravitated towards the bar. They had a couple options for Sangria (by the glass or pitcher), we chose a pitcher of white Sangria ($34), but I asked for less ice. The bartender was extremely friendly, I wish I got her name to give her some kudos. I did ask permission to take her picture as she made our drink and she said, sure! So if you happen to see her, say hi!The bar area was a little dark, but it really set a relaxing mood, which I was loving! They have such an extensive menu with so many items (food and beverages) to choose from. They are known for the tapas, but also have a few large plates and a variety of items for the charcuterie & cheese section.Would I return? Yes, definitely!
