I've always wanted to try this place for a long time and it did not disappoint! The service was quick and great! We got the shio ramen which was homey and comforting. Very delicious! It was a good portion of noodles to chicken to other toppings. The Japanese curry fried chicken was really good!

Went today with my husband. We decided to order and share the Nashville Chicken plate. My husband has a seafood allergy and when the food arrived, he double checked with our waiter to make sure no fish sauce was included in the rice topping. It was then that we were made aware that the chicken itself was marinated in something that contained shellfish. While the food was good, I've given only 1 star as our outing to BK could have ended very badly and this information should have been clearly printed on the menu.

Hip little noodle shop on the corner of Chinatown and judiciary square. We came in as a party of 2 on a Thursday night after deciding not to wait for a spot at daikaya. It was still crowded but only had to wait for 10 mins.We just needed a quick ramen bite and it was pretty cold for a December day so we both got a spicy miso ramen.Everything was on point but nothing was mind blowing. Prices are fair. Broth was a little diluted but noodles were on par. I recommend but there are better options.TLDR; slightly above average ramen shop

Food was delicious, with generous portions, great flavors, and excellent service. The dining space isn't too large, so I imagine it can get busy. Most of the menu outside of the gyoza is halal or can be prepared halal (removing the wine spray for the ramen). The dark meat fried chicken plate in particular was excellent! The rice with chicken drippings and butter was a nice touch! Overall, I would definitely come back!

Cute chicken and ramen restaurant with great service! I got the Curry Snow Fried Chicken Plate while my friend tried the Shio Ramen. The food came out super fast which is great if you're trying to do a quick lunch during a work day. I was also surprised by the amount of chicken given - I chose the dark meat which comes with a thigh, drumstick, and wing, and was expecting them to all be on the smaller side but they were all pretty decent sized. The chicken was also fried perfectly, and while the onion sauce wasn't the best that I've had it was still very good and paired nicely with the curry powder. I also liked that they did not skimp on the onions! I think the rice was a little disappointing to me - maybe it was because it's mixed with chicken drippings but I felt like the taste was a bit off to me, and it was also very mushy. The extra pat of butter also didn't really help. The ramen was fine, if maybe a bit bland. I personally wouldn't come for the ramen but I think it's a good halal option and for only $12 at lunch it's a pretty good deal!

Decent $12 lunch special for ramen, close to work and convenient. Service is quick and pleasant. I'm not a fan of the "hole in the wall" aesthetic. It's one thing to be one, but another thing to literally just not spruce up the place... at all. School chairs for seats is insane for a dine in experience outside of a school. Anyway, I will go back for the affordable ramen for lunch during the cold season my food was tasty and hearty and the vibe of the place is chill and you can tell everyone's letting their hair down.

The ramen was delicious but surprisingly the fried chicken was too! The fried chicken reminded me of southern fried chicken in NC on at Sunday picnic. I was literally shocked. Definitely try the fried chicken!

Came here after the caps game, waited about 20 minutes for a table. The space isn't very big but the turnover is relatively quick. We both got the spicy miso ramen which was delicious and perfect on a cold evening. Service was great as well.

The ramen was delicious! Conveniently located close to Capital One Arena, this small corner ramen restaurant is a great place to visit! They use the Yelp waitlist function which is helpful. Definitely take advantage of the waitlist during busy mealtimes. The food quality was superb and I would definitely visit here again.

Decent place, very casual and very fun. I came here alone for dinner, and I was seated shortly after joining the Yelp waitlist. It seems like it gets busy but turnover is quite quick, so that was nice. I ordered the creamy truffle chicken ramen, which was a special, and quite enjoyed it! The truffle taste was a bit mild, but the broth was creamy and savoury. The noodles were a little more cooked than I like them, but overall a good bowl of noodles for a decent price. I came here instead of Daikaya, so no idea how it stacks up, but still a delicious dinner steps away.
