This place has a new energy! It was refreshing to walk in and see women running the show. The experience was so different given they actually want to make sure you have a good experience and enjoy you're food. They walk you through customizing your order if you don't want certain sides and they started cutting and toasting the afghan naan which makes it hard to stop eating.They are in the middle of renovating the left side so we ate in the banquet side. Can't wait to see how they decor the whole place. Will be back soon to get my sambosas and kabobs!

We are here for a catered event, which Bamian hosts all sorts of events from weddings to funerals. We also catered all our weddings and events from Bamian. Service is top notch, food is exceptional, you know what to expect when you cater from Bamian.That extends to their restaurant side as well. Food is excellent and prices are very reasonable. 10/10 recommend.

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The waiter was rude and dismissive, the service was unbearably slow, and the food was not tasty at all. Kabobs made of beef and lamb smelled really bad. Despite of the fact that the restaurant was fully empty, the waiter insisted that they have a reservations and didn't want us to have a seat next to the window. The prices were super high comparing to other Afghan cuisines in the area. The only thing which was good was the tandoori naan, and that was also served periodically. Means, they get you one bread, and then you had to wait for 10 minutes or walk to the waiter until you get another naan. Save your time and money--this place is not worth it. Don't ever try to go there!

I really enjoyed this place. the ladies were really really nice and the food was good. the ambiance was a lot nicer than I was prepared for. this is my favorite afghan restaurant in this area.

Searching for a dining spot that can satisfy a crowd? Look no further than Bamian in Falls Church! They specialize in authentic Afghan cuisine served in generous family-style portions. You can order a la carte but we decided to go family style with bread, salad, a huge mixed kabob platter, and rice. The kabobs were flavorful, tender, and juicy. We also got hummus on the side as an appetizer to go with the freshly made bread, which is super rich with chickpea flavor and a tinge of fresh olive oil.Even with our hungry group of 8, we still had leftover containers packed with deliciousness to take home at the end of the meal. Everything we tried was bursting with traditional spices and flavor. I would especially recommend Bamian for big parties because they have a lot of big round tables for indoor seating.

This place is incredible! The food is 10/10 and really gave me and my family a true authentic afghan experience. The aesthetic is beautiful and makes you feel nice & elegant. The servers are super kind and accommodating, and food came out very quick! The owner is also very hands-on & made sure we had a great experience. I can't say enough good things about this place. Visit asap, you won't be disappointed!!

The food is a big ZERO. I waited for 2 hours and received trouble ... I don't recommend this restaurant bcz service and everything is so bad

Excellent food and attentive service! Enjoyed the Aush soup and mantu dumplings! Will be back!
