The cafe is in the middle of rebranding to Bakery Museum & Co. When I stopped by this past Monday afternoon, the menu was still predominantly De Clieu's, but I'm curious to see how they will change and redevelop over time. My friend and I were able to find a table upon arrival (there's plenty of them and very spacious, too). The cafe is more of a study/work vibe, but there's a good amount of catching up and chatting going on too.ITALIAN COLD CUT - 11.45The sandwich had plenty of meat varieties (ham, bologna, and salami) that were savory and flavorful. The Italian dressing was delicious and the ciabatta bread they used was fresh and had a nice texture. Overall, pretty solid Italian sandwich!PISTACHIO EINSPANNERI forgot the pricing of this, but it might have been 5.25 for a 12 oz. The pistachio flavor was a bit inconsistent, but the coffee was mixed well and pretty creamy. Sometimes, it tasted a bit sour, but I'm not sure if that's what einspanner coffee tastes like since I've not had it too many times. The barista serving me was friendly and helpful with his suggestions. I will definitely be back in the future! The cafe had great vibes, food and coffee are both decent, and the pricing is pretty affordable.

The atmosphere was pleasant. Putting an order was pretty friendly and nice. There is a problem with the barista. I believe that they use good-grade coffee beans, but the barista does not even know the basic handling of coffee. The shot was completely dead and missed the timing. One person can ruin their entire reputation due to the negligence of their work, especially for the coffee shop.

I've driven by De Clieu a number of times without realizing it was there. So I stopped in today to check it out...Ordered a custom made breakfast sammie: Sausage, egg, and cheese on a Croissant (with extra cheese) and a dark roast coffee. Coffee was excellent - I added some Half n' Half to it.The breakfast sammie was brought out to my table a few minutes later. It was very tasty, although it was a bit on the greasy side. There is a ton of seating inside, and of course - free WiFi.Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay.#DeClieuCoffeeAndSandwich

TL;DR: newest location for coffee, pastries, and foodCame here on a Saturday, and it was packed! The big windows make the space look very bright and clean, and there is a lot of seating available. Luckily, we were able to snag a table where an outlet was also available. They have lots of options of pastries (some sell out early!), food (breakfast and lunch), and drinks. We drink black coffee/espressos, so the beans they used are a little more on the acidic side, which is not our personal preference, but I think their lattes are usually really good! The breakfast sandwich was good but pretty basic. The pastries can be hit or miss, but there is always something for someone.

Had a great carry out experience. Got a cinnamon latte and 3 sandwiches to go. The coffee was smooth and hot, but not too hot where I had to wait to drink it. Spicy swine - melted in your mouth and the homemade Sriracha was divine. Crazy Irishman (sub croissant) - warm, gooey and filling. Eggacado - loads of bacon! Next time I'd try a pinch sandwich and work remote!

There's a new De Clieu Coffee and Sandwich cafe now open in the Legato area of Fair Lakes! De Clieu has a location in Fairfax City, and this location is their latest expansion. This coffee shop is known for their variety of drinks, smoothies, baked goods -- they even have gelato!I visited De Clieu recently and tried a few of their drinks and food items:-Matcha Blossom Latte-Cinnamon Dolce Latte-The Irishman-Eggacado-White Chocolate CookieThe drinks were super tasty; there was a lot to choose from, too. I also tried two of their sandwiches, which were perfect for breakfast. You could also stop by for brunch and enjoy a sandwich and a cup of coffee. They also have gelato here which I'd like to try out on a future visit. The parking situation is really good, and there are plenty of places to sit. Can't wait to come back!

I found out that the name has changed on Google map but not on Yelp. This makes sense why the food and drink was not up to par. Definitely going back to the Main st location.

Great establishment! LOVED the sandwiches. I got the super club- it was delicious! I loved the jalapeños. Jack of all trade breakfast sandwich was also good. My friend said BLT was to his liking.Pass on the pastries. The blueberry scone was so dry and there was no flavor. Apple fritter was just okay.Service was great!

First time trying this location. Very busy but service didn't take too long. Pear chai iced tea is my favorite and always comes out perfect. Breakfast sandwiches are also great and i would love to try some pastries.

Confusing Experience - Is This Still De Clieu? I used to be a regular at the Main Street De Clieu when I was a student at GMU. I heard that they opened a second location on Lee Highway, so I decided to stop by on my way to Costco. When I arrived, the sign outside had a completely different name--"Bakery Museum." But when I walked inside, everything felt exactly like De Clieu. * The cups, packaging, and WiFi password all still said "De Clieu." * The menu looked identical to what I had at the Main Street location. * Even the sandwich I ordered had the exact same name as the one I used to get at De Clieu.I was so confused. If this is a new café, why does everything inside still say De Clieu? And why is it still listed as De Clieu on Google and Yelp? The taste was different too, which made me question if this was really the same place. The whole experience was really misleading. If you're looking for the real De Clieu, be careful--because I honestly don't know if this place is actually still De Clieu or not.
