Had a lovely dinner here over the weekend. I came in with a friend and we ordered the lamb chops and the surf & turf. We also got to try the hummus appetizer. Everything was delicious and the owner was very kind. He came out a few times to make sure that we were enjoying our meal :) There is a beautiful outdoor patio space that is available for private events, and it is "all seasons", which is perfect. We Definitely plan to return!

The service was exceptional. Talia was knowledgeable regarding the food. She provided a wonderful experience. The food was OK.The falafel were tasty and with the right texture. The baba ghanoush was nice with the warm complementary pita bread. The combo platter came with grilled chicken, lamb and kofta. The kofta was the best out of all 3 meats. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud.Overall, a good experience.

Stopped by Bacchus of Lebanon and ordered their falafel. It always hits the spot! The falafel was delicious as expected, with the perfect balance of crunch and flavor. Service was excellent, and the wait time was super quick--got my food in no time. Always a solid choice when I'm craving some great Lebanese food!

The ambiance at Bacchus Restaurant is simply beautiful. I wasn't expecting to be transported back to the times of the Green God Bacchus, for whom the restaurant is named, but it truly felt like stepping into the Grecian empire as soon as I walked in.The falafel was incredibly crispy, and the pita bread was warm and soft--just perfect. They served fresh vegetables like tomato, lettuce, pickled beet, and pepper, which complemented the meal wonderfully. The service was excellent, reflecting the restaurant's long-standing presence since 1977. It's clear they've mastered the art of hospitality, as everything from the food to the ambiance was spot on.I would definitely return for a date night--this place is a hidden gem!

My husband and I absolutely love going to Bacchus! The food is amazing - their menu is full of so many options regardless of whether you're a vegetarian or not. Their service has always been great, our waiters have always been kind and attentive. This past time we went on a Friday and learned they had a belly dancer who was so good. Created a beautiful ambiance! Highly recommend trying it!

The service is great and the ambiance is very calm & enjoyable. Soft Arabic music plays in the back and there is a great sunlit table area inside. They have a beautiful outdoor patio, but it was too cold when we went to be able to sit out there. Would recommend going when it's a little warmer to enjoy out there ! Otherwise, the food was excellent. We shared tabouleh, mosakka (cooked eggplant), and kibbeh b'il leben and had main courses of kefta, fatteh, and Shish taouk. The chicken meat was incredibly juicy and lemony and well seasoned. Truly one of the best I've ever had. The kibbeh was too dry for our taste though and the chicken on the fatteh was more of a roasted chicken breast than the shredded we normally make it with. The bread was homemade and fresh though and the servers are very nice! Definitely worth a visit.

Food was good, but one of the server was mean to us which was quite unprofessional. They also had belly dance around dinner time

I absolutely adore Bacchus of Lebanon. After Persian food, Lebanese food is my favorite middle eastern cuisine and this restaurant never disappoints. The food quality is wonderful, the service is top notch, and the restaurant has both a classy and playful aura depending on where you sit. They also hire some of the most talented belly dancers in the local area. I'm not saying that this restaurant is perfect, as no restaurant is, but one thing that stands out for me is that every time even something small is wrong, our servers and the managers go above and beyond to rectify any issues even if we haven't made any complaints. The staff here are really on top of their game and they work together to provide a great dining experience which is well worth the price of their food--which is very fair considering the quality and portions alone!! Our favorite items include the lamb shank, the garlicky chicken, and their fish. Their pita bread is also to die for! We will keep coming back as long as we live in the area.

About a 2-2.5: Bacchus of Lebanon is located in the heart of Bethesda, serving up authentic Lebanese dishes.Their menu is pretty extensive, offering a brunch and all-day menu, featuring starters (cold and warm mezzes), salads, soups, main platters, and sides.I came here right when they had opened and ordered the following to go:+Baba Ghanouj - baba ghanouj was more on the chunky side, and came with some warm pita bread; I found this to be on the bland side, and the portions were a little too small considering the price+Kibbeh - there is meat-filled as well as a vegetarian version (with potatoes) - the kibbeh could have been better, as they were smaller than I expected and were more mushy, rather than with the crisp exterior; the filling was a bit bland, and I thought the meat could have been more seasoned and more flavorfulI'm thinking I should have gone for the vegetarian version of the kibbeh, as I am curious how these would taste being potato-filled; I'm interested in trying out their seafood items, such as the Bacchus Shrimp, as well as their Lamb Chops and Shish Taouk on the next visit. When walking up to the restaurant, I just knew that it was going to be beautiful - their patio is large and well-decorated; inside, you'll find columns, a gorgeous chandelier, and great murals. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and they even offered some water at the bar while I was waiting for the food.Metered and garage parking is available in the area.+friendly service+great outdoor seating space+metered and garage parking available
