Asia Cafe has been around for years and is a reliable spot to pick up Asian cuisine. I am a huge advocate for small business/family-owned businesses. The tasty food and affordable prices are reasons why my family likes to order food from here from time to time. We order the basic Asian dishes: fried rice, lo mein, mixed vegetables (with white sauce), seafood combo, egg drop soup. We stick to these because it always yummy and great quality. I never feel the fried rice or lo mein are too greasy, but are just right. Sadly, I recently tried ordering from their Malaysian menu and was disappointed. I ordered the beef rendang and it didn't taste at all what I expected it to taste like. Coming from Indonesian heritage, I had high expectations. I also tried the seafood pan fried noodles, and wasn't a fan. All that aside, I'll stick to the basic foods because it's always hit the spot just right. Tasty and affordable - what could beat that?Bonus note: they're open during major holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) which is convenient for families like mine that prefer takeout for a quick dinner pick up.

I live in the 'hood and have tried Kung Pao there before. They have Thai on the menu!!!Today I decided to get take-out Penang Red Curry chicken for $11.95. Very tasty with pieces of white meat chicken and bamboo shoots. It comes in a huge quart like container with 4,5 servings. I'm not a curry expert but to me it was pretty good and worth a try.

Asia Cafe has been in the neighborhood for a long time. It used to be hit or miss. Recently, the food has come way up in quality and flavor. A couple of days ago, we ordered again, had the Orange Chicken and General Tsos Lunches and were very pleased! New or newer ownership? The difference was remarkable. We're so glad we gave it another try. I picked up at the door and could see into the restaurant's front room. It appeared to be very clean.Covid compliant. Be sure to order in advance. A sweet woman will meet you at the door or you can arrange to have it brought out curbside. Very easy and pleasant.

So, I have ordered from there a few time before in times of desperation...delivery only...and the food has always been mediocre at best. The food always ALL tastes the same, I don't know why, Anyways, tonight I was super craving something bad for me and wanted something greasy so I ordered from AC again.but THIS time I get a call from one of the ppl that work there and he tells me"next time order from somewhere closer to you because you are outside our delivery zone"um. excuse me??what kind of business strategy is that?? and how does that make sense when I have ordered from there with NO "zoning" issues before? So that's that. I wont order from you anymore. ever again.Btw I posted a screenshot of the totally crazy text the delivery guy sent me after I complained! PSYCHO!

The wonton soup arrived steaming hot less than a half hour after I ordered, and it was excellent. The shrimp egg rolls were excellent too, way above average. But the star of the show was one of my favorite dishes that is hard to find, and almost impossible to find done right- the crispy fried orange eggplant was perfection- individual skinless eggplant balls fried to perfection in a slightly spicy sweet and sour orange sauce. They were both lightly crispy and smooth and creamy. Seriously, they just melt in your mouth- highly recommended. Reasonable prices too if you can ignore all the delivery and service fees.
